I mean, why do they have swords in FF7 and 8? It just breaks the modern day setting. Yes, I know the Lionheart is a badass sword, but that is beyond the point!
Heh.. You're nitpicking over something as miniscule as swords and modern day settings? (I know I can be picky but man) In any case, I don't really think the words "modern day" and "fantasy" belong in the same sentence. (But that's just me.) Especially when these games are suppose to take place either before our time or way ahead of our time. None of these games has been following the modern day setting. (Atleast I haven't seen it.) I'd go to the Persona games if I were you. They're more modern day-ish, or so I've heard. I understand you want something different, but you're looking at the wrong people to provide you with what you want. Square / Tri-Ace, while I haven't played every title they've come out with (I've probably only played about 5 games total), but as far as I know, swords has been, and from the looks of it, will always be in their games. And I don't want to change the topic anymore than it has been already, but I can't help but wonder if you're playing, or have played Valkyrie Chronicles? Sort of sounds like you're comparing JRPGs to that.
And what is up with the realistic graphics but the anime characters? That will forever turn me off. Sorry.
No one is twisting your arms to play these games, Matt. If it don't appeal to you then don't buy it.
Out of interest Magus (great name change btw) you're playing the english dub of the game right?
I couldn't put up with Tidus either lol. Main Reason why I haven't finished FFX. Yes, I'm playing the english version. No, I haven't completely lost interest, yet. I'm about to go continue playing it.
Luke found he was going to die.
I'm expecting more mopiness, but atleast this time it's over something that's worth moping about. I just hope each and every character don't go into some form of depression. Guy and Jade don't particularly look like the types to get depressed. _________________________________ I think I've played enough of this to give my final thoughts on the game. Seeing how I've finally exceeded the 100 hour mark, (and I'm pretty much at the end) I officially give this game the "longest game"... That I've ever played, and I'm not done with it yet. Eldrant is the longest dungeon I've come across. And I think I just might go ahead and head straight to the final fight (if that's possible) instead of collect the rest of these items. I just beat Sync for the last and final time. My patience has grown very thin over the last couple of hours and I'm tired of collecting stuff, lol. That's what I get for looking for games that're long.. I don't know if I want any more long games, haha. It's been quite a blast despite my frustrations with Luke. Story - Heh, Luke has killed what I've collected of the story, lol.. Ok, I won't blame him. I forgot almost everything, and I wasn't paying much attention anyway even though I've read almost every single skit that popped up. Nothing really sunk in. (Short attention span.) Graphics - When it gets to the anime clips, it looks great, but I just found out that Production I.G. did the animation for the anime parts, so I expect nothing less than stellar. In-game graphics and whatnot I wasn't really impressed with it. Kind of bland compared to some of the other rpgs I've played for the ps2, but then the graphics aren't that bad either. Characters - Everybody except Luke and Mieu was great. Luke was pretty good early on in the game. I'd say he really started pissing me off
the closer I got to Akzeriuth
, but he really got on my nerves
after beating Van the first time
. Jade and Guy are still my favorite characters along with Asch and now Tear. While I've never hated Tear at all, she's grown onto me. I've never liked Mieu from the start. It's a personal thing, don't worry about it, lol. Audio/Music - Honestly, the only time I'd really paid much attention to the music was while on the world map and traveling in towns. And this walkthrough I was using kept talking about this and that song during fights and boss fights. Honestly, people actually pay attention to the music in the middle of fights especially when things get hectic? Especially in boss fights? I had a hard time trying to focus on the music when I was fighting the God Generals because they were throwing out Arcane and Mystic Artes, and I was trying not to get myself killed. Anyhow, the world map music, I suppose sound pretty decent. Voice work was actually pretty good. Though, there were some parts that I found myself trying to skip... Mainly when there was some extention to a word... Mieuuuuuu >_

Never thought I'd see myself making a thread for the Star Ocean series since I can't stand SO3. I've been skeptical about anything dealing with Star Ocean.
Star Ocean: The Last Hope is the fourth entry in the futuristic space opera RPG series, the long-awaited continuation of the celebrated science fiction and fantasy RPG series. This prequel set during the aftermath of World War III combines sci-fi and fantasy elements spanning multiple planets and the vastness of space itself to recount the origins of the Star Ocean universe. Exhilarating combat expands upon the franchise's famous real-time battle system, introducing amazing graphics and next-gen visual effects. Not to mention I couldn't stand Fayt. (I'm hoping the main character's not at as bad as him.) One thing I must admit is that this game looks amazing. Like Desbreko, I've done shopping at Right Stuf. Took some days for me to get my order, but that was because I was using a money order back then. (Wow, it's been 8 years since then) The prices are good. Shipping and handling can be a pain if you're just buying singles. Like I said, it's been a long time since I've shopped there, though, so it could've changed. Also, once you proceed to checkout, it resembles Amazon which is another spot you may want to check out. (Right Stuf and Amazon in a joint effort thingy?)
Anyway, when the heck is Naruto getting to the fight?! Damn that Danzo! We all know that Naruto's going to save the day/village/I don't give a *******, yay hero crap, but does anyone have an idea how? If so, please tell. Does not have to be within reason for me to contemplate it.
"Sigh" I wouldn't be surprised if Naruto senses what's going on. This whole idea of "becoming one with nature" (communicate with animals and stuff) seems like the only way he'd get what's going on (he's an idiot, though, so "shrugs"), unless he just happens to waltz in while the village is in chaos.

Are you talking about something like Person 3: FES? The answer is no. According to IGN, there will be no expanded version. http://ps2.ign.com/articles/927/927794p1.html
November 6, 2008 - Atlus U.S.A., Inc. today announced to eager fans awaiting the release of the upcoming RPG epic Persona 4 that there will in fact be no enhanced or expanded version of the game released, as was the case with the game's predecessor, Persona 3. "We are today able to announce that at no point in the future will we announce the release of a "FES" version of Persona 4," said Tim Pivnicny, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "The very finest, most definitive version of Persona 4 will be the one released on December 9, 2008." This groundbreaking preemptive anti-announcement puts to rest concerns among many Atlus devotees that an improved version would be announced and released shortly following the release of Persona 4. Persona 4 will release for PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system on December 9, 2008. Each and every copy of the game will include Side A of the Persona 4 soundtrack for free, which features the work of famed composer Shoji Meguro. Fans who pre-order from select retailers will also receive Persona 4: Visual Data, a 100-page, full-color art book loaded with designs from master artist Shigenori Soejima (at GameStop, Amazon.com, EB Games (Canada), Game Crazy, and other fine retailers, while supplies last). In addition, hardcore fans can pick up the Persona 4 Social Link Expansion Pack (exclusively at Amazon.com), a bundle of rare North American-exclusive goodies unavailable anywhere else, like the Teddie plushie, 2009 Calendar, Side B disc of the P4 soundtrack, and more! About Persona 4 Shortly after an urban youth begins a year-long stay in the countryside town of Inaba, the rural town's peace is shattered by a horrific murder that leaves no clues or suspects. As the lone incident develops into a series of bizarre crimes, he discovers that only he and his friends have the power to solve the baffling case, bring those responsible to justice, and restore harmony to his new home. Key Features • Balance your double life – Beyond intense battles, Persona fusion, and new weapon creation exists a normal high school life of friends, classes, and part-time jobs. The way you manage and integrate your activities within each day will determine how you progress through the game. • Unprecedented team control – With a greater emphasis on developing bonds in the fight to solve the mysterious murders, strong friendships are key to your success. Directly control teammates in battle, earn greater party support for combat, and master individual Social Links to unlock your party's true potential. • Find the true ending – 60+ hours of gameplay thrusts you into a deep mystery where midnight television leads to serial killings. You must investigate murders, rescue those who can be rescued, and unmask the culprit behind it all—or risk being forever shrouded in the fog of doubt.
As far as cost.. Somewhere between $36-$39.
Please do try to hang on with it a bit longer. TotA's a great game and shouldn't be dropped just because of a whiny character.
Like anime, unfortunately, that one whiny character can kill the whole experience for someone such as myself. Especially when that whiny character is the main character. Call it a low tolerance issue lol. As I said, I will try to gut it out. (He's killing the joy I had in the game, that's for sure.) This is why I prefer silent characters being the main protagonist lol.

"Sigh" This game has hit a sudden downward spiral. Meggido, you're a good one, (and anyone else able to put up with Luke) to be able to put up with Luke like this. I just reached the part where
Luke takes Asch to see his parents
. I swear, I'm ready to ship this game back because Luke is reminding me why I despise Shinji. (Evangelion, you can tell I hate that series, too, right?) I mean one moment you try to understand the guy then he goes and kills all the respect you have for him with the crap that comes out of his mouth. This second half of the game, character-wise, it's been almost nothing but Luke wallowing in self pity, whining about this and that. (Evangelion 2?) I definately liked him better when he was acting like a jerk in the earlier parts of the game. I'm gonna gut it out though, because I like the other characters, and love the battle system. But Luke is really pushing my buttons. I'm tired of seeing his face. Fun game, but Luke is really killing it.

I've been watching a little bit of this and that lately. Mainly 1st episoders, but I think there's a couple of series where I've seen more than two episodes. Scrapped Princess - I've been enjoying this one quite a bit. I'm currently waiting for the next two to three episodes on demand. Shannon, Raquel, and Chris are quite the characters. Actually, I haven't seen a character that I hated yet. Everyone has their quirks and whatnot, but those three stand out the most at the moment. Darker than Black - Honestly, I'm not seeing what's so special about this one. I've only seen the first two episodes, but still. Maybe I'd have a different opinon if I were to see it in english. Flame of Recca - Ugh... While the fighting is/can be good, that dub is horrible, lol. I think I'd stick with the manga on this one. I couldn't get pass the 4th episode. 1st episoders only Devil May Cry - Disappointed in the action department. But animation was hot. Need to see the dub. Moribito - I saw the 1st episode last saturday. I may actually buy the dvd's to this one. Fate/Stay Night - I've been getting a bit of recommendations for this one, but reading mixed views, mainly because the main character can be annoying. I liked the fighting, and the animation is pretty good. Black Cat - This one looks pretty interesting. I may look more into this one, too. 900th post for me ^_^
Fourth Row: Seth (final boss), Random select
Ouch... I'm up here looking for a face and didn't even bother thinking that was a question mark. :animeswea So, how are the new characters? I'm mainly interested in Crimson Viper and Abel... (I want to call that guy Alex or Cody) I kind of have high hopes for Abel. The clips of him puttin a beat down on Guile looked, too good.

Thought I'd give an update since I think I'm pretty far now. I just beat
Van and crew
for the first time. That was some fight, too, although, I thought it'd be a little tougher than what this walkthrough provided. (Yeah, I cheated :)) Guy did die on me twice, and I sat back throwing out Gels out the wazoo.. (exaggeration, sort of.) I also thought the battle with the God Generals were a bit on the easy side as well. (I think I was a bit over levelled as well.) Mainly because I'm scared of Legretta, lol. Oh the scars she left from our last fight. She's even scarier than Sync IMO. Currently, I'm going somewhere.. The name of the location escapes me.
That treacherous little maggot, Anise
bailed somewhere... Oh Mt Zaleho (sp?), that's where I'm headed. Anyway, given the circumstances, I can understand why she did it. Luke is really starting to irritate me even more now with this mopiness. I think I liked him more when he was stupid and didn't know anything, because, atleast I was laughing at Jade poking fun at him. But now that this boy is worrying over nothing, he's just frustrating. Probably moreso than Sora or Fayt now, too. (And that's bad.) Speaking of Jade, OMG, playing as him feels really weird. (Anise was just as strange) In all rpg's, I've never played as, nor rellied on my magic-users, atleast not in these action rpgs. Playing as Guy was pretty decent. I liked his speed, but took a little while to get use to his moves and set up combos. Anyway, I'm now about 70+ (I think I'm just now reaching the 75 hour mark) hours into the game, and my party are currently between the levels of 53-56, with Luke being the only one at 56 (I think he's real close to 57, like 1200 away), and Natalia is at 53 (like Luke, real close to 54). Jade and Tear at 55. Guy at 54 (about 550 away from 55), and Anise was just reaching 54, I think. Still enjoying the game, and this along with Dragon Quest VIII are my favorite rpgs on the ps2. (Gonna try out Persona 4, soon.)

Heh, that's real upsetting, so to speak. I know Kakashi stated that his chakra wasn't as great as Naruto's, but from looking at his progress from way back, up to now, one would think he could last longer than some of these other characters who've over exerted themselves way faster than he has. [/rant] Bah, Lee and Gai would've made better backups. >_> I can imagine the teamwork that would've came out of that. "Goes to read Bleach"
-
Since when has a character ever died from low chakra supply? Energy supply for that matter. If Kakashi is dead, it'll be a first for me since no one in DBZ, YYH, Bleach and Naruto itself, has ever died for over exerting themselves. While impressive at first (new chidori attack, and lightning clone were nice), Kakashi, like Itachi, ain't fighting Kakashi-like. Ain't he suppose to be smarter than Shikamaru? It's good to still see him thinking/planning moves, but his thinking hasn't been on par... Is Kishi dumbing down the adults for these young thundercats? If Kakashi is dead (By no means do I think he's dead.), that's the 2nd character (2nd best character) whose died by a technicality. >_>

Wow, no thread for perhaps the best fighting game. Heh, while everyone seems to be clamouring over Fallout 3, Dead Space and Gears of War 2, and that's fine and dandy, but none of those games caught my interest. Perhaps it's, because I'm losing interesting in the FPS genre "shrugs". I've always been a fan of the Street Fighter (And VS series.... Tatsunoko vs Capcom looks sexy) and this is my most anticipated game bar none. (The new SF anime looks hot, too.) Anyway, scheduled to come come out the first quarter of winter for the consoles. (I hear that it's out for the arcades already... I've not been to an arcade in years) I'm certain we've all seen the pictures that're floating around to boast it's graphics and whatnot. Speaking of which, I love it, but at the same time, I hate the look of Ryu and Ken. They are, um, weird looking, lol. (What happened, Capcom?) I believe they have a full roster of characters, atleast according to http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g16/MidgetBottle/1226275908626.jpg?t=1226282214. I'm not certain if there will be unlockable characters or not. There's been talk about it at other forums. I was hoping to see Guy in this game. Seeing how Fei Long is in the game, I was hoping to see a Guy vs Fei Long fight. The characters below Honda and Ken, who are they? I don't think I've ever seen them before. I know the newer characters are in the row below Bison. And then the bottom row, the old guy on the right, whose that? Discuss.

Some hands-on stuff from IGN first.
November 7, 2008 - What if you were able to awaken an aspect of your character, such as your protective nature or your anger, which granted you incredible power and abilities? What's more, what if you could physically manifest these feelings into creatures so you could defeat monsters in strange dungeons and environments? If you've played a Shin Megami Tensei: Persona title, you know exactly what I'm talking about, because the characters in these games battle shadowy figures and deal with personal demons while they handle the difficulties of everyday life. In a month, Atlus will release its latest installment in the Persona series, and I was able to check out the game at a recent press event to see what twists would be included in the new iteration of the franchise. Persona 4 is not a continuation of the events of the previous game, nor does it take place in a modern city like Persona 3 did. Instead, the game is set in the rural town of Inaba, where the main character is sent to live with his uncle and cousin for a year. However, things won't be laid back and easy in this distant village. Shortly after he arrives, a young woman is murdered in a horrific way, leaving no clues for the police and no possible suspects to the crime. Surprisingly, this one incident starts to develop into a series of baffling crimes which only the main character and his school friends seem to be able to explain. It's up to the player to hunt down the perpetrators of these crimes and protect the other citizens of Inaba, all while still attending class in high school and solving cases. In some ways, that might sound like a mild variation of Persona 3 set in the country, but that's not accurate at all. For one thing, there is no longer a Dark Hour, the mysterious period of time where those unable to summon Personas are entombed in coffins while Shadows roam around. Instead, Persona 4 focuses much more attention on cycles of weather to dictate the supernatural events that occur in the game. See, the schoolchildren of Inaba have a rumor that if a person looks into a television at midnight when it's raining, they'll see their soulmate. In reality, the situation is much more severe: if a person looks into the television during this time period, they'll see someone that's been trapped in an alternate world inside the television. These people have been dragged from the real world and are held in this otherworld for a number of days until the weather is foggy. It's then that a person is killed and their body is ejected to the real world. As the protagonist quickly discovers early on, he and his friends have to track down these people in the otherworld before they die. Obviously, there's more of a murder mystery theme to Persona 4 and you'll find -- at different moments throughout the adventure -- that your character will be immediately put on the spot to solve a mystery. The answers that you give will inevitably affect what kind of ending you'll wind up receiving at the game's conclusion, so you'll need to pay attention to your choices as you go through the title. This is particularly true because the days that you venture into the otherworld have an impact on the environments that you explore. In fact, you'll find that unlike Persona 3, where you could continually visit Tartarus and explore its sprawling dungeons, rainy days will strengthen the Shadows inside the television world, making it harder to find what you need. That adds to the tension, because if you make a poor decision during these days, you could potentially sign that character's death warrant, leading them to be killed by the Shadows that inhabit the TV world. To combat this fate, you'll need to enter the TV world and fight the Shadows on their own territory. For the most part, you'll do this by going to a store known as Junes, which is run by the father of Yosuke, one of the main character's friends. The store has a large flat screen television that's big enough to accommodate the characters moving from the real world to the otherworld and vice versa, so you and your party can go and search for clues and missing people. However, unlike Persona 3, where the dungeons were larger and somewhat confusing, Persona 4 focuses more on story driven scripted sequences with smaller environments (albeit still randomized) to help you explore this strange dimension. This is important because many of the dungeons aren't simply an amalgamation of rooms that have no connection from one level to another; instead, the dungeons that you'll run into are related to some hidden fear or issue kept in the psyche of the person that's disappeared. For example, one of the dungeons I saw revolved around a girl's issues with betraying her family business to work for another, more prosperous company, while another dungeon was based off the insecurities of a girl interacting with men. Along with this focus on the psyche of the potential victims of the Shadows, Persona 4 focuses more attention on the psyche of the main characters in your party. The characters discover their powers and their Personas by facing down and defeating their "other selves," the shadowy sides to their personality that host their darker, baser instincts. For instance, one of the sections that I saw featured Chie facing down her issues with a fellow classmate, while Yosuke had to deal with some of his fears. Of course, these shadow selves inevitably transformed into large, more powerful monsters, and it was up to the party (and ostensibly, that character) to face their inner demons and defeat them. By doing so and embracing their specific issues, they were able to unlock and acquire Personas that could be wielded in battle. However, there are no Evokers to be held at a temple or wielded during summons; these Personas are held solely within cards and are symbolically cast like a spell in any RPG. However, even with this kind of change made to the Persona summoning, there's a number of other changes to consider as well. For one thing, in Persona 3, players were only in control of the main character, which meant that they had to rely upon luck that their party members would cast the right spell, attack a downed enemy or perform intelligently in battle. That's been solved in Persona 4, because now, players have a couple of choices as to how they want their party members to behave. If you happened to like that old mechanic, you can keep it, but if you'd rather have more control over the actions of your party members and what they perform in battle, you can directly command each person individually instead of setting tactics. Another change that's been included in battle is the inclusion of a guard, which allows you to reduce the amount of damage that your characters take from an enemy, regardless of the elemental weaknesses they seem to have against a particular attack. For example, the main character seems to be weak against wind, but guarding can defend him from monsters that try to exploit this for quick "1 more" strikes against him. Succeeding in battle is important, but just as important in any Persona game is working on your Social Links with friends, which allows you to summon new Personas and gain new abilities. The Social Link system is much deeper than before, with more elements that you can exploit based on your interactions with different people. For one thing, the main character has five character traits instead of three, meaning that you have the ability to have deeper interactions based on your communication, knowledge, perserverance, tolerance and courage stats. On top of this, I was told at the demo that players will have the ability to dream of different characters in their circle, allowing them to boost their links even when they're sleeping. Strengthening the links is important primarily because it will provide additional perks on top of summoning stronger Persona. For instance, characters with strong social links to party members may find that their friends will leap in front of potentially fatal attacks and absorb these strikes, giving them a chance to heal themselves and continue the fight. Obviously, you'll wind up gaining these links by talking to your friends and interacting with them in school, but there will be plenty of other ways to gain these links or augment the main character. For example, players will still be able to join clubs during after school to boost their stats, but now you can also gain part time jobs to work on improving your skills. On top of that, you'll be able to cook food to gain items or build models within your room to work on your stats (along with improving the look of the room itself). Fishing even plays a role, as you can catch different kinds of fish and either sell it for cash or keep it for future use. Weapon crafting, Persona Fusion, dating, making friends -- as you can see, there's a lot that you'll wind up doing over the course of the game. Technically, Persona 4 might appear to be rather similar to that of Persona 3 or FES, but there is one big change I picked up on -- there is a significant increase in the amount of dialogue used in the game. I was told that there were at least 15,000 lines of dialogue littered throughout Persona 4, including cutscenes and other segments, which adds to the atmosphere of the game. It also brings out a lot more of the humor of the title, such as characters finding themselves stuck in television sets or running into strange beings in the otherworld. While I haven't had a lot of time with Persona 4, it definitely appears as though the game will have more than enough to keep anyone playing for a couple playthroughs, which is a great thing in the last days of the PS2.
Even though I've yet to play P3 or FES, from reading (both) I find this one to be more intriguing. I've never played these types of games. (Involve dating, going to school... Basically a daily routine) I think the closest I've gotten to playing a game that involves going through a daily routine is Shenmue. You get a part-time job and whatnot. Anyway, I liked the idea of having a job while in a game, and more games should involve something similar to it. As I said, I haven't played P3. What turned me away from the game was that I heard that you don't have control over the other characters. That may be a small issue for many, but I like being in control. I may still get it in the end, though, because I haven't read, too many complaints about it. So I'm assuming the A.I.s not that stupid? But then again, I may just bypass P3 altogether to get P4. Any others interested in the game?

Over the past couple of days (maybe 3), I took a break from Tales of the Abyss to play Dragonballz: Budokai Tenkaichi 2. I hated the first BT, but this was an improvement over the first. However, while it's an improvement, it's only decent. I prefer the old Budokai games over this style. I hate the behind that back fighting, and not to mention the camera is still shady, especially when your up against objects. Enough about that. I went back to playing Tales of the Abyss. Just beat Sync, which was a lot easier this time around than when I fought him the first time with Largo. My characters are between the levels of 46-49 with Luke being the only one at 49. Found another issue I hate about the game, and it's minor.
The one part where you have to redo the fonic glmyph (sp?)
. Trying to use Mieu Fire on the little light was annoying. Good thing you get the option for Tear to just do it and get it over with. (My patients was running thin on that part lol.) Let's see. I'm now looking to buy one or two more games before I start classes (coming up real fast... Dec 1st O_O). I'm stuck on what to do. Buy Persona 3: FES, or wait for Persona 4 to come out. Tough choice.
The scarriest game I think I've ever played (I'm hoping when I go buy Dead Space today it'll blow this away) would have to be Metal Gear Solid 2. Does anyone remember what happens towards the end with the communicator? Yeah, if you don't know play it.
It's been a long time since I've played MGS2, and had to remember what you were talking about. You're not talking about
Raiden running naked
are you? Now that I think about it, you're right. No matter how many times I've played that part, my heart would always beat a bit faster due to my paronoia of being spotted. I always try to go through my games tranquing everyone. And to come across something like that for the first time is just ...argh... Same with MGS3.
Stripped of your weapons and running from the dogs
. I've yet to really play the 1st MGS, but I hope (if I ever play it) that it don't nor MGS4 have anything similar to the experience. I hate it when I have to go through areas without being armed.

I'll take those into consideration, but in the meantime I'm gonna stick with the games I favor for the time being.
-
Indeed I am casual, atleast I tend to believe I am. Anyway, I'm into games like Ninja Gaiden 2 and Devil May Cry 4. Typical hack n slashers and some fighters here and there. (I'm after Street Fighter 4) And then RPGs. The only FPS I'm lookin to get to at the moment is Halo 3, I'll bypass all the rest for now. Should be alright to get the Arcade version right? I mean to handle the saving with those games, or would I actually need to buy that external hard drive?

While having all that packaged would be the better deal, I only plan on playing games on it alone. (Not a whole lot, but a few, and I'm cheap.) Only time I would actually play movies on it would be if I'm too lazy to turn on the dvd player. But thanks for the idea though.

You see, all this external hard drive talk doesn't ring a bell. I'll need this hard drive for what exactly?

I don't know if I can call being loyal to Soifon a good thing lol. The way she dogs him and he just takes it. Perhaps I'd respect him a little more if he did some type of back talking or something... Atleast under his breath. (Somewhat like Kuwabara.. He'd actually be funny then.) But then again, that's just the way they are. ____________ Been rereading the flashback chapters. Still trying to figure out where Isshin fit into all this. I have a couple (really, 2 ideas lol) of ideas where he was at or his previous position... (Which is really null and voided but I'll state it anyway. Isshin could've been in the Maggots Nest wondering around elsewhere during these events, which could atleast explain why the name "Kurosaki" doesn't ring a bell with any of the other captains. [strike]One of these chapters states that the previous captain of the 3rd division retired, so maybe....?[/strike]

Loose/baggey clothing. (joggin outfits, sweat pants) The long-tees. Your typical "thuggish" (I suppose) clothing. (j/k) I've been wearing that type of get-up for quite a long time, too. Now I'm getting more into the casual look. Still loose clothing, but not like before (Normally would go a size or 2 up from my actual size). I've been losing weight here and there and haven't had the chance to go get fitted and shop for clothes. I'm gonna get me some suits too. I'd like to experience one of them black-tie affairs atleast one time to see what it's about.
