However if you've seen the scene with Trietheim are you trying to go to the Oracle headquarters from inside the cathedral or outside?
I'm trying to get in from the outside.
I just did a skim through of the story synopsis (glad I bought it for 5 grade since I had some to spare) and it says that after Baticul
that I went to Grand Chokmah and talked to Peony about the peace treaty and lowering the outer lands.
Looking at the guide that's not mentioned and may be what you're missing.
AYE!! That's it. Peony. Guess this means I should stop skimming through the text. :animesmil Actually, I remember I was told about peony, but forgot about what I was doing once I went to Grand Chokmah because of the side tracking which was in that walkthrough. Thanks for the help though :D I know a lot of people tend to leave walkthroughs alone for the first time through, but when I hear that a game can be over 80 hours long, I tend to go straight for a walkthrough because I know I probably wouldn't find or I would bypass a lot of item shops and whatnot. (See the dreaded gameover screen for once, lol.) I just been in the habit of having a walkthrough at my side while playing rpgs.
-
That's what I'm trying to figure out. The little bit before that tells me to go to Grand Chokmah to get an item, but that's pretty much it. It's like there's this gap between Grand Chokmah and Daath. (This is what I get for skimming through the story.)
...Honestly I'm still in shock Vega turned out to be a guy. Kubo really needs to distinguish between some of his male and female characters better (although pursuing the Charlotte Coolhorn path would be ill-advised). As for Soifon's reasoning for taking a bit of a beating at the start of this fight, we at least it gave Omaeda that one cool moment he'll ever get in this whole manga. Admit it, when he blocked that strike you actually thought for a few brief seconds "Go Omaeda!".
Agreed. I also thought Vega (Really?) was suppose to be a girl. Kubo needs to stop making flat chested women and short guys look similar. Actually, I have a natural hate for Omaeda. I admit that I underestimated the guy, but I can and will never root for the guy.

VIIt. Daath - Recommended Level: 43 Enter Daath's cathedral only for Anise to be shot by something random. Quite priceless, I must say, but it's a letter from Dist saying that he'll meet "the Jade gang" in Keterburg aka just freeze there, and that the flightstone is "most certainly not in Daath". Speaks for itself. The "Jade gang" sees Maestro Tritheim only to hear that Dist was here not long ago, so that solves that. His cantor Reiner knows where the flightstone is, and that guy is in Oracle Headquarters. Guess that's our stop. Leave the cathedral and take the eastern path right outside the entrance, and that will take you into Oracle Headquarters, where a bunch of knights attack. Increased security, hahaha. Gotta love it. Anyway, your newfound Mieu Wings enable the collection of some new treasure. Start by going to the very top level, where you'll find a ladder that you can't climb, but with Mieu Wings you can. Remember that entrance where you came in the first time? Yeah, right around there. Use Mieu Wings for an Epee (very good sword) and an old Killer Bow.

This is the 2nd inconsistent thing I found with this walkthrough. (This is why Gamefaqs is stupid.. sometimes lol) First one was trying to find some item or trigger something that I'm not aware of at the moment. It was minor. Anyway, this one is a pretty big issue since it has me going to retrieve the
flightstone
. First thing though, the part with Anise, not happening. And instead of being told about Dist in Keterburg, I'm being told about something completely different. Going to the Oracle Headquarters is blocked off. What gives?

So Soifon wanted to see an arrancar in their released state. "Scratches head". Maybe Toushiro should be fighting this guy instead of fighting Halibel. It'd actually give him a better chance of getting a decent victory. And besides, Soifon vs Halibel sounds like it would be a lot more interesting than the earlier because then it would turn into Yoruichi + Soifon vs Halibel. Silly boys will probably start throwing out their wild fantasies, but I'd actually think that would be a good fight. It would be sort of equivalent to that of Ukitake + Shunsui vs Stark (if it actually get shown). Perhaps that's setting it too high. Sorry to keep bringing up Toushiro, but I just can't get over the thought of him actually beating Halibel.

Anime Cartoon Network Line-Ups...and anime on television announcements
Magus replied to Syk3's topic in Otaku Central
Gundam season 1? Gundam Wing? If so, I finally get a chance to see what was so great about Gundam Wing. Or is it that new Gundam 00? How long has AS been on this silly schedule with Code Geass (which I'm bout tired of anyway) and Morbito (which I've yet to catch) coming on at 5-6 am? I haven't seen AS in almost 2 months now. -
Not entirely true, sure I want to see the hag bite the dust sooner rather than later, but a lot of that stems from that fact she's just not acting as a Hokage based on what we've seen of her predecessors. If she bucked up and did something other than paper-work and delegating my opinion of her might actually rise.
Fair enough. As far as these "spoilers" are concerned. Not saying that it's real or fake, (I only keep up with Bleach spoilers) I just have my suspicions. All of what Gavin said is spot on. Especially with Kakashi and the nail in the head. After we just witnessed a lightning clone, I can't see Kakashi taking too many ninjutsu/physical attacks directly unless it's off guard or overpowering. But if this were to be real, I don't know if I'd be willing to stick with the manga anymore. No characters would be left for me to root for. Itachi's dead, mini-byakuya's m.i.a and according to this suspicious "spoiler" with the wide gaps, Kakashi's gonna kick the bucket. ______________ Turns out that that spoiler is real, but that last page was definately too obvious. Look like the nail could've been to the eye with the sharingan. Perhaps it's bad translation or something but who was suppose to be saying "Know Pein"? (The talk bubble is over a rock btw.) Maybe it was supposed to have been "No Pein". And even then, why is Kakashi stating if he can move or not? Kakashi under the talkin rock?
Umm, I'm 25 god that sounds so old, when I say that....>.> So to me in terms of yougin I would considering anyone not of 18 as legal, in regards to Megazone 23 Part I and Part II.... The reason I said, that had to do with the fact there's some softcore sex scenes involving the anime characters, more explicit in Part II.
Haha, while I was only joking about it, I'm 24, so I think I can handle it :). While I don't have anything against sex being in anime, I just don't care for it.
I'm rambling though, this is not the thread for that....In regards to Code Geass judging from your list you saw Death Note first. Which is the same thing I did, for some reason all the people I know personally who saw Death Note first, hate or couldn't get into Geass. Also ironicaly, the people who hate death note love geass. To me they're almost virtually the same in terms of certain elements but I prefer death note which is set in a more realistic setting....
Yeah, as I said, I need to update that list because I don't really care Death Note anymore. (The 2nd half was a complete letdown.)
Macross Frontier (Really good, and its new) Story is great, and the animaton is in High Definition. The only problem is you can't get it on dvd, that's one of those titles you need to find the fan sub for....(which is out of your access) from what I'm reading.
Nope, I have access now ^_^. I've been getting a lot of Macross suggestions so I'll give it a go as well. Thanks people, I think I have enough to keep me from being bored now.

Perhaps "president" was too much. Couldn't think of the head person for the military.. (General?) Should've went on ahead and use Fullmetal Alchemist. I'm not saying that Tsunade shouldn't be out there, I'm just saying not on the frontlines, atleast not so soon anyway. But then again, y'all want to see her out there just to see her death? Evil people :D
Wait...so Tsuna-Fail isn't fighting? WTF KINDA HOKAGE DOESN'T FIGHT AN ENEMY THAT'S TRYING TO DESTROY THE VILLAGE?!?! Dang useless slug whisperer...
Useless, not likely. Think of it like the US military. You don't put the president on the frontline because he/she would become an easy target. You take out the president, you just won the war. Same applies here, and like Jiraya said, if the Hokage were to keep changing, it'd show that the leaf is a weak village.
Full Metal Panic: Another one I really like because it mixes humour and action, plus a bit of romance.
I think I'd have to go into this one with an open mind because the 1st 3 episodes, I think, I was pretty disappointed. I didn't see much in terms of action. It seemed like it was comedy over action. (Didn't look like there was much action to begin with.) I've been trying to catch Gundam Seed, but I have been watching Gundam Seed Destiny :). Speaking of which, is Gundam Seed 00 and Twelve Kingdoms (still wondering about it lol) worth checking out?

Meggido, unfortunately, the little of it I have seen was about 10 minutes of the 1st episode. Never had the chance to get back to it, but I do plan to look at it eventually. Rick Hunter, define youngin. =) Actually, I haven't been able to get into Code Geass as much as I would've liked to. I think the first 5 episodes were decent, but since then it just kind of took a nose dive for me. Des, I think I'll check majority of those out outside of El Hazard. Not much of a harem person. Come to think of it, I need to update that list or something. Anyways thanks people. Keep em coming.
If I remember correctly, you're an action fan, right? Shikabane Hime: Aka, at least through three episodes, has been a disappointment on that front (that is the main reason I watched it, haha). The story shows signs of picking up soon, but the characters also need to pick up, because they're not that interesting. If it's action you're looking for, Kurozuka offers the best action, but I don't know if the sexuality might be a bit of a turn off (lol). It's not explicit, or anything, but it is definitely sexualized. I've seen just one episode of Michiko to Hatchin thus far, but that also shows signs of offering good action.
Yessir. Action all the way, but I'm beginning to branch out here and there. What do you mean by the characters need to pick up? They're that dull and boring? I did manage to check out the 1st episode of Kurozuka last night and I was impressed. Intro sort of reminded me of Death Note. And by the looks of it, it looks like it's suppose to be the ninja/samurai type anime so that's a plus. Artwork/animation is gorgeous. Didn't see anything in terms of sexuality, but from the way you put it, it sounds like it's heading in the direction of Basilisk. (Looks that way too.)

Alright, thought I'd bring this back up since I'm just now getting into the fantasy/adventure type anime now. FMA fits in this category right? I've been watching Scrapped Princess (up to the 6th episode, waiting for the next 3 on comcast), and you can say that's what got me curious about the genre. (That and playing Tales of the Abyss.) In any case, I'm currently looking for more anime in this genre to see what I've been missing out on as well. Also, are there any more adventure types out there that has more action than Scrapped Princess? I've been feeling a little deprived of my action lately. I can finally watch anime online now too, so let em loose. ^^

I was just browsing through Funimation's site happened to come across Shikabane Hime, and going by a picture alone kind of got me interested. And then I do a bit of research to find out that it's done by Gainax... Kind of a blow to the gut since I'm not particularly fond of what I've seen from Gainax. (Gurren Lagann turned out to be fairly decent in the end, though I don't care for the character models) I'm also curious about Tales of the Abyss. Seeing how I'm still playing the game and whatnot. I do wonder when and if we get an english version, will they get the voices from the game for reoccurring roles?
Well the thing to remember about Rukia is she's been purposely kept out of a seated officer position by Byakuya. Now I'm not insinuating that makes her a lieutenant class fighter, I'm just saying she's not just some random unranked Shinigami who killed an Espada. Plus really that kill was both pure luck on Rukia's side and pure stupidity on Aaroniero's, he knew all her zanpakutou abilities from Kaien and yet went close enough so she could reform her sword between his eyes. One thing I will say about the Arrancar being beaten is that people are assuming they're naturally stronger than relative levelled Shinigami. The only guys we know should be stronger than the average-strength captains are the Vasto Lorde's and there's maybe only four or five of those among the Arrancar's ranks (I believe Neliel is a Vasto Lorde myself).
I knew that someone would remember that Rukia was qualified to be a seated officer and throw it in my face. Actually, yeah I know Rukia is qualified to a seated officer. I'm just not giving her the benefit of the doubt to be higher than 5th-7th seat. (Dag flammit, Yumichika is 3rd seat, and Ikkaku is VC alongside Yachiru.) The stupidity she displayed when she 1st met Ichigo ruined it for her lol. That's true about people thinking arrancar are stronger than other shinigami because I'm of that same opinion, somewhat. (It's Hitsugaya's fault I tell you.) Since the release of these recent chapters, I've completely forgotten about there being other types of arrancar. (Gillian, Adjucha, Vastorlordes. I'm slippin.)
I think one of the major problems in trying to rank captains as stronger or weaker is that it depends on the fight and the opponent, some like Mayuri would be considered stronger based on strategic fights, while Kenpachi rules the head-on battle. Taking captains who excel all around like Byakuya, Yama and his students and Aizen and then I suppose you can construct some sort of system. I have Hitsugaya ranked lower (and I use the term lower loosely) due to his relative lack of skills with his bankai (he can't seem to maintain it for long periods like other older captains). Skip the movies, they're not particularly worth watching. Memories in the Rain is quite a good expanded version of Ichigo vs Grand Fisher though.
I think it's hard to rank every known character in SS simply because of the espada gettin beat by low class [strike]trash[/strike]shinigami. Rukia being the main one. She draws against an espada. It takes 3 people to take down Szayel. (4 if you count Nemu.) Kira, Yumichika, Hisagi (They're not low-class btw lol) beating fraccions in a jiffy and as far as we know none of them has acquired bankai. Yet Renji and Hitsugaya has the hardest of times against Grimmjows fraccions. I know... 80% of their power has been cut, but I don't know if I'm really going to accept that excuse anymore. I suppose I shouldn't compare it, but I'll do it anyway because I'm unfair. (It is Byakuya afterall, lol) Byakuya also came to the human world (with Renji) and 20% of his power was still crazy. Take it back further, Kira lost to Matsumoto. Yumichika beats Hisagi. How do you rank something as tipsy as that? And now the new chapter. Omaeda turned out to be a surprise factor, while he's still an idiot and I don't like him, I was pretty shock to see that this guy can actually do some stuff. Still don't see any reason why he's a VC though. Soifon is an idiot. One thing these people need to stop doing is explaining their zanpakuto's abilities. If they're going to explain it, atleast do it at the opportune times. I.E. Byakuya vs 7th espada whose name escapes me.

Surprised there's no talk about the newest chapter. Kakashi having the spotlight. I like that it's finally back on him instead of Naruto or Sasuke for once. (Good to see smart people and stuff.) Disappointed because of his backup though. (No fan of Choji) Lightning clone... Interesting, I suppose. I just hope they don't go too crazy with these clone ideas. I can't see anyone using wind as a clone technique. Fire clone may be another interesting one. One that may be more beneficial than lightning, but "shrugs". I'm still lost about Pein though. So the piercings in his body sends off signals. So... What is Pein?

Oi, kind graphic artists of OB. Could you please make me a banner and avatar of Alucard from Hellsing? (Man I need to stop watching Jeff Dunham.) Anyway, I do want a banner, and was hoping someone could make it though. Size: Default Background: Have fun, but I do prefer that the background looks good around the character. Font: No preference Text: Phenom Pictures: Quite a few here. For the avatar I'd just like my name there some where. Thanks in advance. Edit: Forgot. If none of those pictures can be used, feel free to use your own pictures.
See if it were up to me there would just be one giant OB orgy. lol
I would've thought there'd been another one by now. I wasn't apart of the 1st one. Who would I do here? I don't know. Never thought about it. I suppose the ladies between 22-37. (Hey, Mariah Carey is 36i-ish and still hot.) Although, for some reason I can see Indi being a low key rapists. (Saw it on Law & Order: SVU...) Celebrities... It's a huge list, but Selma Hayek would be top priority.

I've been playing Tales of the Abyss and it's been an addicting yet somewhat annoying ride. My characters are between the levels of 36-39. I forgot where I left off at. I think I'm crossing through to the fields
while the war is going on
. I also have Okami sitting on my bed waiting to be played. I haven't played it yet due to TotA and its addiction, but I've heard quite a bit of great things about the game, and can't wait to start playing it. I should be settled with games for the time being, but I'm trying to decide if I want to buy Spider-Man: Web of Shadow or just hold out for now.

That did help, thanks. And I'm finally beginning to catch on to everything else, sorta. I do wish that Luke had more artes involving spells.
I enjoyed the little time I had to play as Asch
. One thing that I'm finding annoying about the game (it's a minor issue) is that you have to press the L2 button to run around the whole field. And even so, you can't attack while free running. That sort of ruins the whole free running aspect in my opinion. I don't understand why that couldn't be in this game. But as I said, it's only minor. I'm still enjoying the game. I'm some where between 30-40 hours into the game now. Again, most of it has been spent on level grinding. A good thing, too, because now I'm getting the hang of using Mystic Artes. (They're prettiful)
I'm at the Qliphoth after St. Binah was sunk
. My characters are between levels 35-38 with Luke being the only one at 38. Other characters died while I was still standing. And I take that back about Sync and Largo being the hardest boss fight I've been in. Legretta was a beast. Can't wait to get my Xbox 360 so I can try out Tales of Vesperia. (A main character that's actually not a child for once.)
-
So I've been giving One Piece an actual fair chance lately, and turns out that it's not as bad as I usually made it out to be. I've never been much of a fan of pirates (Pirates of the Carribbean being the only exception.) I've only made it to chapter 14-16, I think. Luffy beating Buggy the clown. As I've said, it's not as bad as I made it out to be, but I'm not exactly seeing what's so great about it either. Characters, I've chuckled here and there, and the favorite so far is Zoro/Zolo. Luffy is more tolerable than another main character (Naruto) but he's still on the annoying side. And one thing I don't think I'll ever care for is the artwork. I'll take great artwork with nice character models over quirky-ness any day.
You will be annoyed by him and diss him a lot (on both his attitude and stupidity). I was pissed at first...
I try not to let his attitude get to me so much. As long as someone put him in his place, I can cope with it. (With people like Jade around, I'm can deal with an annoyance like Luke) Now as far as his stupidity goes... Gullable and naive. Perhaps even more than Fayt. (Star Ocean 3) But Luke is more tollerable. Anyways, a bit of an update. About 20 hours in, and then majority of my characters are between level 18-23. Just now getting to Deo Pass, I think. I got my first gameover (even though I haven't actually seen the gameover screen due to resetting) because of Sync and Largo. Man, that was the hardest battle I've been in so far. (Sword Dancer? being the 2nd hardest.) I cannot get the FoF's to pop up for nothing. Walkthroughs aren't really helping so much when it comes to these things. So, what arte should I use for each FoF? Wind - Fang Blade - Thunder something Water - Fire - Earth - Shadow - Light -
