I, for one, can believe that it's getting cancelled. It was such a stupid show! Okay, but seriously? I'm just messin' with you, Linkk. I really do like the show. This is the first I heard that it was cancelled...*sigh*. Oh well, guess the two seasons will have to do. If they do make it into a television movie, well, it's better than nothing, right? -Random

I, as well, am a Christian. I don't necessarily "believe" in practices of the occult, but I'm not nieve enough to ask people not to mention them mearly for the sake of myself not hearing about them, because the fact it, no matter how much you don't want to believe it, they're there. Hey, good idea! Just came out of the blue, well, actually as I wrote that...anyways, here it is! I was thinking, maybe, that if we do do something like this, we could have a group of people dabbling in magick, the real spelling, and a group of "religious" people, who desperately want to get rid of the idea that cults don't exist. And, for the twist, one character from each group is friends with another. So, for example, Johnny from the cult group is friends with Dana from the religious group. So, Johnny tells Dana about his cult, but Dana has nothing to do with it...then, mysteriously,Johnny and some of his fellow Cult group goes missing. Then, it's up to Dana and her group to figure out what happened...by diving right into the cult world, if you will, themselves. WOW! That just popped right out of my head, right there...lol...who says that miracles don't happen? LOL! Anyways, that's my idea, and sorry to wolves_145 if I offended you, but, Christian to Christian, get some thicker skin! Ciao! -Random
Listen, as a Christian let me tell you something that I hope you really open your mind to for a moment. I also hope that fellow Christians listen up. "Am I going to hell?" This is the answer I give anyone who asks me, my being a follower of Jesus- a man who's life was about forgivness and grace, whether you consider him God or not. No one can tell you if you are going to hell! I can't. I don't know your heart. I don't know your faith. I believe that is between you and God. I am not God, and I cannot hold your soul to any judgement. No Christian can. So don't take that kind of crap from anybody, okay? :) "Do I just worship "satan" in disguise?" Well, do you worship satan? I didn't think Wiccans believed in him? We both know you aren't worshipping the same thing I am. So, since you are asking Christians, I'll tell you that I believe that any action of worship that is not to my God is considered sinful. Guess what? I'm just as sinful as you are. Every Christian is. "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone" right? 'Am I "evil?"' No. Christians believe that every human is created "good" because God cannot create something that is "evil". Whether you are "evil" or not is really up to you. Even if you consider yourself "evil", it really doesn't matter how bad you get. My faith claims that you are always capable of being forgiven for anything. Redemption is always possible. "Do you think that I should convert and believe in what you believe in?" Sure. Why would I ever want to deny anybody that possibility? It's as if we all live in a desert, perpetually thirsty, and I find an oasis- I would want to tell everybody and bring everyone to it! Listen, I wouldn't want anybody to become a Christian because they feel backed into a corner, against their will, or to get a 'get out of hell free ticket'. I would want someone to become a Christian because I believe we were all put on this earth for a purpose, and part of that is to have a lasting loving relationship with our creator. If you have that desire, then any Christian would be more than willing to help you recieve Christ.
Amen, brother. I agree with everything you said...and you took the words right out of my mouth. As a Christian, I don't necessarily "believe" in Peganism, obviously. But, then again, there are some parts of Christianity that I don't necessarily agree with. Like Drix D'Zanth said, everyone has their own choice about, well, everything. In this case, it's religion. It's up to you, and I, for one, won't judge you baised on your decisions. I won't necessarily become your bestist-best friend in the whole, entire world, but I won't judge you or lable you as "evil" or whatever. And, again as Drix D'Zanth said, don't let Christians, or anyone with a different religion as you, pressure you into believing that what you're doing is wrong, or evil, because it's your decision, and as far as they know, they might be wrong, and you right...who knows, except God (in my belief). Anyways, hope that answered your question...although Drix D'Zanth answered before me...lol...thanx Drix D'Zanth, saved me from typing! Ciao! -Random

Okay, had to say something...how could I not? First off, WHITE ROCKS MY WORLD! Okay, go that out of my system...anyways, for those of you who can't see it, the little words in the banner say, "Open your eyez...what do you see?" Just to make that clear. I think it's quite fitting how he did that, considering how the reader literally has to open their eyes to see what it says...pun totally intended. Ya, I just mean that they have to look closely. Also, they have to look deeper into the pic to see all the stars. Very nicely done. Almost EXACTLY what I asked for. An amazing graphic artist, methinks. So, White. I love your work, obviously. I have no beefs about any of them, so keep on fighting the good fight, and make the world better, one pic at a time! -Random

Name: Oni Age: 20 Gender: Female Personality: Oni is a no-noncence type of girl. She'll do anything to get what she wants, and follows orders only from those she regards as superior to herself. She's cocky, but it only adds to her appeal as a Guild apprentace. Background: to be continued... Appearance: Short , purple hair (wierd, I know..just work with me), and piercing gray eyes. She has a scar across her left cheek. Her back has the Harvest tattoo on it, although it's lower down on her back than seen on the game. Character snippet: to be continued... Clothes/Armor: Full Assasin's Outfit, but with a variation of the tunic. The top of the tunic is basically the same, but it is cut off right under her breasts. Melee Weapon: The Avenger Ranged Weapon: Master Longbow Magic skills: Assasin's Rush, Force Push, Berserk...might edit once RA PM's me concerning some details...

You said you wanted new sign-ups...here's one more to add to the list. Name: Simple Age: 24 Gender: Male Appearance: Pic Here, but without the cat-ears and tail. He's very femine in appearance, which has led to some interesting dialogue, but he's okay with it. Infact, he likes it. His shirt and the inside of his cloak is white, his shorts and sash are green, and the outside of his cloak is red. Each color is mirrored by feathers on his spear. Personality: Simple is a kind-hearted person. He is level-headed in battle, more of a stratagist than anything. He hates to kill, but will do it when faced with his own death. He can come off as a little quirky, and a little too bubbly, but he always makes everyone else around him happy, forgetting about any hardships they are going through. Weapons/Powers: Simple wields a light-weight spear, made out of titanium, and the shaft is the same length as the sheath shown in the pic. The blade is relatively long for a spear, about a foot long, and is golden in color. Where the blade meets the shaft, he has a rope tied around it, with three feathers in the knot: red, green, and white. Simple's powers are that he's a WindSpinner, meaning he controlls the air around him. He can cause a light, cool breeze to cool him and his companions, or make a full-force hurricane. Also, he can controll the temperature of the air, taking it from searing-hot, to freezing-cold, and anywhere inbetween. Bio: Simple was an only child, and longed for some companionship. Once he was old enough, he went to the Stone, hoping that it could help him with his ordeals. Once there, however, he found out that he needed to pass a rigorus test, albeit a bit to late to back out. Not that he really wanted to, anyway. His test was to endure a week in the wild, fending for himself, by himself. He passed, although it nearly drove him insane. During his test as an exile, he learned the importance of self, not to mention a good few skills, mostly combat and forraging, but other skills as well. Simple has a great capacity for love and acceptance, but it sometimes puts him into trouble. He has a tendence to trust people too quickly, and accept things too fast. Other than that, he's basically the boy-next-door, who can wield his spear with deadly accuracy and cunning agility. Hope that works, Raze...anything you need to be changed, I'll change it, kk? Hope I'm in *crosses fingers*

Aimee flew at Sin, her mind clouded by rage. "Damn you, evil spawn!" she yelled as she flew at him. She made a mock attack, and he dodged to the right. He fell for it. Or so she thought. As she readied herself for her real attack, she realized one dagger was sticking out of her blade arm. It was rendered useless. "That, childer, is how you do it." His cockiness drove her into madness. She threw herself at him, grabbing his dagger out of her right arm with her left as she went. Sin once again dodged her attack, but found that his own dagger had found a spot in his chest. "Impressive throw, childer, but you missed anything vital." He wretched the dagger out, and was now fully armed. Aimee could see this was going nowhere, but she didn't give any time for a second thought as she went in for a final assult. Her fangs bared, she lunged at Sin's neck. Sin was ready for this, seeing it many times before. He easily moved out of the way, and smashed Aimee in the head with the handle of his dagger. Aimee fell to the ground, her world going black. The last thing she remembered was Sin's words. "Childer, you are a worthy adversary. I'll keep you alive, if only to find out why you attacked me..." Aimee's ears lost the rest of his words as her eyes focused on a dark image walking up to Sin, then her mind succumed to the inevidable cold blackness, lying in a growing pool of her own blood.

Aimee stalked her pray from a distance, her stomach still ignored, although it protested. She heard the Vampire call out to her, but she was hesitant. This Ancient isn't one to play with, she thought to herself. She walked out of the shadows that had hidden her for so long, and approached the vile one before her. "Halt," he said, turning to face Aimee. "Who are you, and what do you want with me?" Aimee just glared at him. "Sin, you know," was all she said. "You remember." Sin's face showed confusion. The Hell's this Childer talking about? "I don't know you, Childer, and I have no intention to. Go now." "You do know me, Sin," she said, deadly emphasising "do". "Thirty years ago, you killed my parents, and turned me into this thing. Tell me you don't remember, an' I'll make you remember." Sin watched Aimee carfully. Her hands were clasped behind her back, but he could tell there were weapons in them. What kind, he wasn't sure. "Aimee, I don't remember you. I don't care about you. Go." "Why should I?" came her response, calculated expertly well. "Hard-ass killers, talking...ironic, isn't it...the creator becomes the pray..." Sin just stared at Aimee as she started to laugh histerically. Suddenly, Aimee's arms flew from behind her back, revealing her weapons. On each wrist was a silver gauntlet, with four foot-long, razor-sharp claws jutting out past her clenched fists. "Prepare," she said, blood-rage flashing in her eyes. "Tonight, you will pay for what you did to my family, and my soul!" OOC: Sin, your move!

Okay, I apologize for the short posts, but you guys are giving me a hard time...forgetting that Aimee's outside, then not even putting her into your posts. Ouch, guys, ouch. Anyways, Sin, hope it's okay that I used your character as the one that bit mine. It was the only thing that I could think of. Any beefs, or any suggestions, post away! MirrIll, as V. Fox said, just try and include yourself...maybe by meeting up with her character, or just running into another. Think of something, and go with it. The others, usually, follow along, adding their own personal twist on things. Anyways, that's all the advice I have for you. Oh, and I've read your post...just to let you know. Ciao! -Random

Aimee sat in the shadows, watching the events around her. The two alchemists had succeded in their plan to grab the hunter, but the hunter was pissed. They seperated, never looking back. Then, out of the burning building, three vampires walked out, followed by a fourth. She recognized the first three to be the Ancients, but the forth she didn't recognize. She didn't really care, either. All she cared about was the one taking drags off a cigarette. That one, she thought. That's the one that did this to me. The one who damned my soul to this eternal shit, and killed my parents- Her thoughts were interrupted by the unknown Vampire turning to face a human asking for one called Adrian. She waited, buying her time. Once I get you by yourself, fellow deamon, there will be words exchanged...possibly more.

Your MATURE opinions on homosexuality
Random replied to ChibiHorsewoman's topic in General Discussion
Wow...CHW, you sure touched a nerve here, eh? So, I'm back into the thread, and I've had mixed emotions reading some of the posts. First of all, I'm going to make a general statement before I really reply to any of the posts. The one thing that's bothering me in the previous posts is the fact that half of the people are saying "well, it's the United States of America, (enter rest of argument here)." This is getting really, really annoying. Sure, quite a few of the people her in OtakuBoards are from America, but that doesn't mean that everyone else is...I'll just keep it as that, since it's a little (lot) off-topic. ~And now, back to the discussion.~ Alright, I'll start off by responding to the post above mine, written by Anime Elf. To save myself time I'll not use quotes from your post, I'll just reference to them, k's? KK, here we go! Anime Elf, I must say that I agree with you on most of your opinions, mostly dealing with the whole gay marrage thing. As you said, by redefining marrage to include same-sex couples, who says that any country's going to stop at that? I'll not beat a dead horse by listing all the points. Secondly, just to make it known, if not by anyone already reading this, I am a gay man. I don't necessarily agree with gay marrage, but only because of the reason given above. I do however agree with same-sex couples, as, obviously, I've been involved in some myself. Anyways, I might seem a little conflicted on this topic, but believe me, I'm not.
There aren't "gays only" places in town, no one can refuse you service, gays never had to struggle to get the right to vote, no gay only/straight only schools, no segregation, no "separate but equal". Discrimination, yes.
This...quite interesting. I agree with a few of your statements, but a few of them, whatever. I get that you're trying to put the gay's struggle into the same catagory as the one your ancestors' are in. That's ok, almost expected. And, it's your opinion. Here's mine, although a bit double-sided. In light of the "gays only" places in town, there are...it's called G.A.L.A. - short for the Gay And Lesbian Association. Although some people might view this as a place for "faggs and dikes" to get together and "bash the str8s," that viewpoint is totally false. What G.A.L.A.'s tried to do is to provide a place where gay people can come, have fun, and feel accepted and safe. It's quite a noble thing to do. Also, it's not just a place for gay's, either. Anyone and everone, who has an open mind and isn't there to "smash and bash" gays, are welcome. In fact, a few of my friends go there with me on a regular basis, and they are completely str8. Moving on, "gays never had to struggle to ge the right to vote. True, but there's a reason behind this. In every civilization, throughout history, there have been gay people, whether they've been "out" or not. The government never looked down on them as "second class" citizens (although I might be wrong...someone correct me if that be the case), whereas they did with women and black people...African-Americans/whatever-ins, to be "politically correct." Anyways, the reason we, I mean gay's, have never had to "fight for our right to vote," is simply because our fights are coming out, excuse the pun, during a time of "government open-mindedness," if you will. I'm not sure what to say next, so... "Seperate, but not equal." What are you talking about? Of course there is that kind of mind set...especially in my city. Just try living in a closet town, surrounded by hikks...*shudder* Anyways, that's it for now! More raving, to be continued... -Random -
Alright, guys...Aimee's offically in the story! I've started, as you can see, so just ignore the request in my previous post...lol, obviously. Anyways, just as a reminder to whoever post next and includes Aimee, she's a vampire who's 30, but looks 10, and she's very cold, and almost never talks. Anyways, info at the sign ups, as well...duh. Stupid me. meh... MirrIll, my suggestion is to somehow get your character to want to meet up with Adrian, or one of the other characters, or to show up at the Bar where everyone else is headed...Sorry I havn't read your post yet, but once I do, I'll edit this one with more ideas...Ciao! -Random

OOC: Alright, my turn to add something. IC: Aimee was hungry. She hadn't eaten in a few days, and decided that now would be the perfect time. She was running across the roof-tops, hoping to find a good meal, when a shot rang out. She spun, and saw the bullet fly up just inches from her face. There was only one explanation for it: hunters found vampires. Aimee glanced at the ground, seeing two alchamists seperate. They looked to be strong, but only time would tell. She could sense the presence of the three remaining Ancients near, probably inside the bar she was standing on top of - the bar the two alchamists had entered. This should be interesting, she thought to herself. Her stomach forgotten for now, she jumped off the roof, and watched the scene inside through the glass window.

Alright...I've played my share of a hell of a lot of games, but the one with the worst ending totally has to be Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.
Alright, this game was totally awesome, considering the way you can control time and **** like that. But, the ending was what ruined the whole experience for me. Why did it have to end like that? He falls in love with the chick, proves his love for her, and then has it all taken away...totally uneventful, but it gets browny-points for going against the norm, and having the main character loose everything.
I'll edit/post the game with the best ending later on...too many to choose from, so I have to make up my mind. RPG High treason obscurer: Truth forgotten [M-VSL]
Random replied to Disenchanted's topic in Theater
Rain walked along the road with Nami...but he could sense they wern't alone. One...no, two others, behind us. "Nami, prepare yourself," he wispered to his companion. "There are others following." "I know, Rain," came Nami's hushed reply. "I've known they were there since we left the-" But Nami never finished her sentence. Another female vampire had split Nami's head from her body, and the blood had splattered all over Rain. "Tell me what you know about Alex," the unknown vampire yelled at Rain, her sword level with his neck. "NOW!" "Alex Hurst, you mean?" he replied, showing no fear. "Don't play stupid with me, bastard," came the venem-filled rely. "Why don't you put down that sword of yours, and we'll talk," suggested Rain, although his voice implied it was more of a demand. The female vampire stared curiously at Rain for a few moments, then lowered the sword. But not all the way, he noticed. "So, what's your name, and why do you want to know about Alex Hurst so much that you'd kill my partner. Choose your words carefully." "Call me Addy. My reasons concerning Alex are none of your business, and I mearly killed the female to better get my information," she replied, her eyes filled with hatred. "Well then, Addy, I cannot tell you anything if you won't," came Rain's comment. "Stop treating me like a child, Rain. I know you know. I heard the female talking about it to you. So," she said, raising her sword once again. "Tell me what you know, or I'll kill you where you stand." "Addy, put your sword down, and we'll talk while we walk toward that far settlement, okay?" Rain said, in hopes of calming the young Vampire down. Be grateful, you little bitch. I'd have killed you right here and now if I hadn't of seen something that I could use... Addy complied, although hesitantly, but never sheathed her sword. She walked next to this Rain, and gradually began warming up to him, as much as she didn't want to. Rain could sense an immaturity in his new traveling companion, but he could also sense purpose, drive, and a nasty habit to kill on a whim, as testified in Nami's unfortunate death. All the while, however, he could still sense the other one, following behind him and Addy. Only time would tell what this one wanted. -

Shi walked along the seemingly never-ending hallway, lost in her thoughts. Her Umbrion, Shade, walked beside her. "We're going to have our hands full, Shade," she said to her faithful companion. "I knew that we were going to be going against other gym leaders, but the ones picked look like they are going to be tough." She continued down the hall until she reached the door labeled "Pokemart". She opened the sky blue door, and stepped in. As she entered, she was totally blown away. Wow, she thought, this place is huge. The Pokemart had two floors. The main floor was basically a generic center, but the top floor, which was only like a walkway boardering the main, held all the specialty-type shops. Shi decided to gather some supplies, so she headed towards the second floor. She walked right past the dark, psycic, and fighting shops, since there was no trainers concentrating on those types of Pokemon. She walked up to the fire baised shop, and purchased some Burn Heals. Continuing on, she stopped at each specialty shop, gathering supplies for the various status effects the other trainers' Pokemon could, or would, inflict on her own. I hope these come in handy. After stowing her purchases in her bag, she decided to waste time browsing the rest of the shops. When she got bord, she decided to buy Shade some food. As her Pokemon ate, she sat thinking again. I hope this challenge proves to be fruitful. It would be a waste of time - but it's the experience that counts, right? Shade had finished his food, and nudged Shi until she snapped out of her daydream. "All finished, budd?" she asked. "Okay, I guess we'd better figure out exactly where our room is, considering we're going to win. Isn't that right, Shade. We're going to win, and become the next member of the Elite Four!" Shade seemed to understand, jumped enthusiastically, and licked Shi's face. She laughed, petted Shade on the head, then led him towards the hallway. "Well, Shade, we better get some rest before we find out our fighting order." And, with that, the two friends headed towards their suite, room number 317.

Personally, I, too, see the need for more mods. Although I'm new here at the OBs, I'm also a member to other messageboard sites, so I do know a little. I agree with Sandy seeing as there's quite a few people spamming...mostly new members...and, quite frankly, it's beginning to overrun some threads. I'm not trying to critisize the current mods, but, again, as Sandy pointed out, there's only so much that they can do. The more mods there are, the smoother, more organized, and enjoyable OB will be. Well, that's what I think. Also, more mods means that the current ones, and the possible future ones, will not have to work so hard, and the work will be more evenly distributed. As I said before, I'm not critisizing the current mods. In fact, I hold them in great respect seeing how much they actually do around this site...not ***-kissing, honest! Concluding my rather short post, I totally and whole-heartedly agree with Sandy on this issue. Anyways, that's my two cents. -Random

:therock: wolves_145...edit button, man, edit button! geesh...anyways, you do have a few good ideas. The posts are kinda hard to read, but what I got out of them seemed to be good. This may not be my place, but I think that if you get your posting quality better (i.e. grammer, spelling...periods, etc.), you would be totally capable of bringing a great contribution to the OBs. Anyways, enough ranting and raving, so back on topic. MirrIll, take some of what wolves_145 said in...er, his/her posts, mix them with yours, and viola! As for coming up with a story, all you need to do is ask. I do require a few answers to some of my own questions, if you want me to write. If not, that's alright, just let me know when you're going to post your sign-ups! So, ya, anyways...my two cents have been said, again, so: Ciao! -Random

Mixed emotions couldn't even begin to describe what Jar was going through. He had killed his first monster, almost lost Tarma, had his body start glowing strangly, and then saved Tarma with the light. Now, Tyr wanted to talk to him. The light had stopped eminating from his body, but Jar still felt it's effects. As the small group continued their journey, Tyr and Jar fell behind the others. "Tyr, what was that light?" Jar asked. "That was a Rune in your body showing," he replied. "Jar, did you seriously not know it was there?" "No," came Jar's simple reply. "I really didn't. No fuckin' clue." "Any ideas?" came Tyr's next question. Although he tried hard to hide it, he was excited. He seemed to know more than he was letting on. "Not really. Well...I was in jail for a while. I could'a got it from there, but how the hell did they do it without me knowing? I was only there for a little while...as far as I can remember." Tyr just stared at him, seemingly expecting more. "What? I don't know! Honestly!" "Okay...I believe you," came Tyr's hesitant reply. "I'll tell you what I know. The Rune that you have inside you seems to be a Might Rune... OOC: Orcus, hope that works for you...if not, PM me and I'll change it tomorrow.

Um, hard decision. Should I write the back-story and basic flow of an RPS, take all (well, most) of the credit for it, and almost grant myself a spot in the actual RPS? Or should I just say "no," keep myself in the RP's that I'm currently in right now, and save myself from any overkill, exaustion, and "over-plate-filling" worth of work overload? (not to mention my job.) Um...let me see...I'll do it! Well, I'll give it my best shot, anyways. I'll look for your response to my questions, and I'll work on it. I'll do my best to get it done A.S.A.P., but there are considerations you must...consider. LOL. Ya, considerations list, take one! First off is my job. I work graveyards, so my schedule is kina random at the moment. Second is the other RP's that I'm involved with right now...I have four on the go as it is. Thirdly, I have a life, too. I'm online quite a bit lately, but I do still have friends. Other than that, I'll take every-waking-moment, and utilize it so I get this done for you. Just remember, the quality of your next post (the response to my questions) will be crutial to the quality of the storyline I'll be making/writing up. The more details, the more descriptions, the better the storyline will be. Anyways, I'll start as soon as I see your next post. Ciao! -Random [EDIT] Well, one more question I forgot! What time is this RP going to be set in? Is it going to be Medivil (forgive my spelling), modern, futuristic, or during sometime else?
-
Alright...sounds good. One thing...well, two things. I'm not quite sure how Aimee will fit into the story yet. I'll wait 'till tomorrow or the next day to post, ok? Oh, and as I've said before, I'm on graveyards until...er, the beginning of February I think. I'll try and keep up with posting, but no guarantees. For anyone interested, or willing, you can put her into the story, but just as a brief intro...I'd like to put a little bit of a back-story of her into my first post. Anyways, that's about it! Ciao! -Random
