POK

Sounds interesting...and, with the prodding of Sakura, I'll give this a try. ==================================================== ==Trainer Information== Name: Shi Age: 23 Gender: Female Appearance: Personality: Shi is a dark character outwardly, but to those who know her, she is a very kind and compassionate person. She does work her Pokemon hard, but, after they've reached their quota, she takes them and nutures them for hours, playing and just loving them. In battle, her darker side comes out, showing no mercy towards other trainers, but always has compassion towards their Pokemon. History: Shi is Sabrina's closest childhood friend. She and Sabrina trained together daily, and when Sabrina decided to travel the world, she left her beloved gym in Shi's hands. She decided to change the gym around, having it Darkness-baised. She is a ruthless battler, but always stops before the foe Pokemon is serously harmed. This compassion has cost her a few battles, but in spite of this, her reputation is spreading rapidly. One day, after training, a particular parcel arrived in her mail. It was her invitation from one Administer Jerry. She was to partake in the famous Gym Leader Challange. ==Gym Information== Gym Location: Saffron Badge Name: Celestial Badge (A gray crescent moon with a dark purple star in the middle of the inner curve.) 2. Yuna: It's a much more wonderful feeling than I had ever imagined. Tidus: Hu...Sorry, Yuna. Rikku's taking a shower, and her window's open!
3. Sounds good...obviously you'd have to refine it, and come up with a plot, etc., but, then, that's why you started this tread, eh? I'm totally willing to help you with this project, if you want me to. My head's full of ideas, and coming up with ones continually...anyways, I'd help you out, if you decide to start this. -Random
4. "Tarma, say nothing," said Eskari, a look of seriousness on his face. "Tyr, you don't need to know that," said Jarrius. His abrupt words, as well as his commanding tone, seemed to shock Tyr, as he didn't say another word. "It's okay, Tarma," he wispered, making sure that only she could hear. "I'll protect you." "Thanks, Jar," she said. Her voice held confusion, but she trusted him. She trusted him with her whole heart. "I believe in you." They reached the woods. Although it was late morning, and the sun was high and bright, the woods looked forboding, and Jar couldn't help but feel something wrong about them. "Tyr, this isn't..." started Dred, but then he saw the look in Tyr's eye, and stopped. "Ok, everyone. We're going to split up," announced Tyr. "Suzaroth will lead one group, and I'll lead the other...what is it, Kanya?" "Do you really think it's a good idea to split up?" she asked, her smile slacking a little. "Yes, I do. This way, at least half of us will be guaranteed to make it to Tanis. It'll even our odds a little," he replied, noticing how the Velati's body swayed as she listened. "You may decide who you want to go with, but if uneven, I'll decide 'till it's balanced." "I'm going with whoever Jar is going with," said Tarma. "Well," said Eskari. "I'll go with Suzaroth." "Then I'm going with Tyr," said Jar defiantly, shooting another glare in Eskari's direction. "So, what about the rest of you?" asked Suzaroth.
5. *Cool* Name: Rain Joran Age: 27 Race: Vampire Gender: Male Weapons: A large katana, with a green jewel forged into the handle, named "Stealer". Special powers: Rain can see in the dark, and has great hearing. He can move so silently, not even Werewolves can hear him. Description: Rain has short, black hair, and is dressed in an all black ensamble: army-like boots, leather pants, a vest, and his trusty sword and sheath. Bio: Rain was born of noble blood, but he never really agreed with what his kind had done to the humans. His father was a great general, and the son of one of the five "Great Leaders of the Vampires", Shigra the Noble. Being of decent of the female Leader, Rain was trained from a young age to take her place, as his father had died just after Rain was born. Rain trained seemingly untiredly each and every day, and soon he surpassed every one of his peers. One day, when he was going through some records, he ran across the record depicting the fatal day that began the war. He read it, and came to the conclusion that, although what the group of Humans had done was wrong, so was what the Vampires did...at least in his mind. He though that only the group of humans should have paid the price, not putting their entire race into near extinction. From that day forth, unknown to the ones in his courts, Rain worked from the inside to crumble the Vampire Empire. *Hope this works...and, as always, if anything needs chainging, PM me with details!*
6. OH, a competition? Well, that's most intersting. I'm not going to try and compete, so here goes: First off, I'm trying to quit smoking as well...and, as Corey said, it's a process...a long, hard process at that. It's an even longer story of why I started, but lets just say that quitting is even harder. My other thing that I'm having trouble with is figuring out how to come out to my parents...*shock*. Ok, everyone knows but them, and I don't really have any idea on how to tell them...any suggestions? -Random
7. Name: Aimee Bodine Age: Appears 10, but is really thirty Sex: Female Race: Vampire Class: Childer (Turned Vampire) Weapons: Besides her fangs, she has dragon-claws/gauntlets. Character Description: Since Aimee's body is still ten, she is relativley short and light weighted. Her attire is completely modest, comprised of black shorts, black shoes, white gloves, and a blood red blaiser. Her hair is silver and french-braided into two pieces, falling by the middle of her back. Her eyes are glowing red. Her personality is very cold. She hardly ever talks, even when she was human, but when she does, it's meaningful, and often rudely sarcastic, and she has a dry humor. Aimee is a vicious, ironic, and lethal killer: a worthy addition to the Vampires. Background: Aimee was an only child, living in the city of Millam. Her parents were very well-to-do, and she had the perfect life. All this changed one fateful day twenty years ago. On her tenth birthday, her parents had decided to take her to her grandmother's house, which was a few miles away in the countryside. While on the way there, they were attacked by a Vampire. Her parents were killed, but, for some unknown reason, she was spared death, only to become one of the damned. The bite of the Vampire had sealed her soul, and she would now walk the earth forever as a Childer. Since that day, she has been living in an abandoned shack outside of town, feasting on the locals whenever she needed. This random feeding has led way to many rumers, the biggest one being that she is the ghost of herself, come back to haunt the town. So, to this day, Aimee lives as the "ghost" child of the late Bodine's.
8. Jarrius walked hand in hand with Tarma, following behind Tyr, Dred and Thorkell. Beside them was Eskari, and Kanya, along with Drog. The others within their rag-tag group Jar really didn't know all that much about. Hell, he didn't really know all that much about anyone, except Tarma. And Ryu. "I wonder where Ryu is right now?" he thought out loud. "What's that?" asked Tarma, although she heard perfectly. "Huh...oh, nothing. Nevermind," Jar replied. The group was finally reaching the city gates. Tyr and Dred were talking hastily together, with Thorkell listening in. Turning to Eskari and Kanya, "So, either of you two been to Tanis?" Eskari just glared, but Kanya smiled and replied, "Actually, I have. It was the city that I just came from." "That's a bit of a coincidence. I just came from Tanis, too," said Jar. "It's hard to believe that only just a few days ago, Tanis is where we could have met, instead of Balthasar." "Yes, it is wierd. But, as the winds of fate continually blow, Balthasar was the place fordestened to be the place that we were all to meet," Kanya answered, smiling sagely. "Now, we can only wait and see where the fatal winds take us now." "You're quite the interesting one, Kanya," said Jar, just as they group walked out of the city. The most surprising thing was that the large group wasn't stopped from exiting the city, as Jar pointed out to his three companions. The reason was obvious as soon as they reached outside the walls. OOC: Well, guys, gotta get things heated up here! I've left it open, so, let's some spice here! Anyways, sorry for not posting very often. I've started working graveyards, and it's hard to keep up. Well, have fun!
9. Alright. So, the RP that you want to create is based on FF, right? And the classes, only four...are their going to be only four people playing, or are you hoping to get a few teams together, maybe as rivals or just different sections of the same organization? What type of storyline are you looking for? Are you looking for a type of lets-go-kill-bad-guys, a save-the-world, a get-the-girl, any combination of the above, or something else? Is it going to be a quest, or just random things, working and fitting together? What kind of world are you looking at? A very small, isolated world, or a huge, vast, multi-cultural one? Is the quest going to be on only one land-mass, even one city, or is it going to include the entire world? These are things that you are going to need to explain, or even just give a rough description of. Not right away, but think about it, and post when you think you're ready...any questions, PM me. One thing you should know, I'm new at RP's as well, so feel free to ask other people. I will mention that I'm in the middle of my first RP, and that I'm a novelist, so I have the basic knowledge of how these things are created. Anyways, just think about it, gather your thoughts, write them down on paper, re-arrange, and have fun with it. -Random
10. Jar stood with Tarma, Felas by her side, watching the two acknolodged leaders talking. He was more than confused by their dialogue, but he seemed to be the only one, judging by the looks on everyone else's faces. After the bullet had hit Suzaroth's armor, Tyr had talked about the "price of the runes," or something like that. Jar had no idea what he was talking about. Just as Jar went to ask Tarma if she could explain, Tyr walked away, and mumbled something under his breath that Jar couldn't make out. Dred followed Tyr, as did Eskari. Jar decided to follow them, so, holding Tarma's paw, he did. They ended up back at the Inn, the bloody mess of the battle still in front of it. "Tarma, tell me what you know," Jar almost demanded. "I'm so lost, I don't even think I know my own name anymore." "Jar, it's ok," she replied, sympathy in her voice. "You don't know anything about the Runes, and you wouldn't have to if we hadn't reunited earlier. Basically, Runes are stones with varied powers inside of them, and to many, they are a physical manifistation of power and status. The more you have, the "better" you are, at least in the eyes of the rich and powerful. In the years since they've been found, and the uses of them discovered, the Government has used them in their favor, and they have greatly missused the powers the Runes possess. Our organization, the Revolutionaries, have placed factions in each city in order to make an attempt to overthrough the Government, or at least to screw around with their plannes. That's basically what I was going to do, but it looks like I got a few more hands to help." "I think I'm starting to understand," said Jar. "But still, what was that all about with Tyr?" "Jarrius, you must ask the man himself," she replied. "Thanks, Tarma," Jarrius said as he, Tarma, and Felas walked into their room. All three were curious to find out about the others' traveles and happenings over the last few years. A little while later, Eskari, one again, asked the three to join the others in the adjoining room. He was a little bit more cautious this time, but Jar cooperated, and they all followed him into Tyr's room.
11. AMEN SISTER!!! (renayiiq) Anyways, I'm really happy about all the support in this thread! Being a gay man, this topic is, obviously, a touchy subject, but so far, it seems like the majority of the posters have hit the nail right on the head! YAYS! So, first question: Is it learned or inherited? Well, that's sorta tough to answer, but I'll do my best. Some people say that it's learned, just because they don't want to accept the fact that it isn't. Sure, there are the few people, well, not so few now, that say that they're gay, bi, whatever because they think it's "cool," or for some other stupid reason. That, in my mind, is what's wrong. I strongly believe that homosexuality is inherited. Ok, bear with me. Seriously, why would ANYONE want to choose to **** up their lives, have themselves ridiculed, beaten, or even killed, lessen their chances of getting jobs, loosing friends and family members, and having a pre-determined lable put on them? (I'd love for someone to answer this one!) Ok, I don't think that anyone in this world would want any of the above things to happen to them just because of a "choice." Would you? Next question: Is it moral? Ok, this one's harder. Everyone has their own morals, so, it really depends on each person's personal views. Just incase you can't guess, my answer to this question is yes. It is moral. I don't care what other people think about this, just as long as they don't shove it in my face, just as I don't shove it in theirs. Next: Does it prevent you from being a good parent? Um, hell no! I don't think that it really matters if you're gay or straight. If you're going to be a good parent, then you're going to be a good parent. If you're not, then you're not. It doesn't matter. It's like asking, "Does being black/caucasion/native/indian/whatever prevent you from being a good parent?" I think not. Number four: Should gay couples be allowed to adopt? Ok, seriously. Gay's aren't any different from other people other than the fact that they like their own parts, if you will. As I said before, I never repeat myself. Ok, sorry guys! I couldn't resist! Anyways, as I said before, it DOESN'T MATTER that the person is gay...I'm sounding like a broken record here. And Five: Should same sex marriages be legalized? I don't really have an opinion on this one. I say, whoever people want to marry, let them. I guess that is an opinion, eh? Ok, let me elaborate a little. I believe that love is love, no matter what. Love crosses all boundries, whether it be gender, race, or even species. I dunno about the rest of you, but I sure as hell love my dog! (Not that I'm going to marry him, but you get the idea.) The fact is, it shouldn't really matter if a couple's gay, straight, or if there's three of them. People should just let them do it. In summary, I think that people are oversensitive concerning anything that's different from themselves, a.k.a. the "norm." People should get over themselves, and just accept everyone else the way they are. This kind of thinking is a little idealistic, and I realize that, but if everyone just got off it, this world would be in so much more harmony. Anyways, I'm rambling now. These are my thoughts and opinions. Hope they answered your questions CHW! -Random
12. Well, the best gifts I ever got? Good question. I'll put them in point form, for easy convenience! YAYS! #3 - This one was hard to pick, as being 19 give many a reason for gifts over the years...not that I'm old, but now I'm getting off-topic! Anyways, number three would have to be my t.v. that I got for my 15th Christmas. It was totally unexpected. My dad had won it in a draw from his work, and they were planning on giving it to my aunt for Christmas, but they gave it to me instead. The best part of receiving the gift was the fact that they, as in my parents, didn't even bother wrapping the box. They just gave me a card, and inside was a two-page riddle that I had to work out. It was deffinitally one of my best gifts. #2 - Well, this one was easier than the previous. It is one of my most cherished possessions, and a collection of things from my proudest moment. Well, if you havn't guessed it, which is more likely than not, it's a shadow box with my Graduation memorabilia inside it. My mom made it for me, while my dad made the frame. I'll admit, I cried when they gave it to me. I'm a very sentimental person, and this one thing meant more to me than anything else I got for my 19th birthday. This is one of my most cherished possesions, and it can only be topped by one thing... #1 - This gift was more than a gift, it was a life-changing experience. When I was 15, I signed up for a mission trip to Mexico. Not having a job, and going to school, I was having trouble finding the money for the trip, which was due in February, two months before we left and three months after we signed up. Well, the day before it was due, my grandma took me out for coffee, as I wanted to talk to her because I was planning on backing out as I didn't have the money. She said that I didn't have to back out, and handed me the money. I won't say how much it was, but I will say that it was more than generous. To say the least, I was shocked, but at the same time, I was totally relieved. Long story short, I had the time of my life, made many friends, and had the single most life changing experience I've ever known. That's what made this gift the best I've ever received. Oh, guess I should mention that it was an "advanced" 16th birthday gift. -Random
13. Jar and Tarma walked hand-in-hand down the road, followed by Tyr, Dred, and all the others. "Tarma, could it really be Felas? I thought you were the only one of your family that escaped." "So did I," replied Tarma, confusion etching her voice. "Felas, as well as mom and dad, were all taken, and I thought that they were all killed. I was lucky to have escaped, but Felas would have been even luckier." "You do know that it might not be your sister, Tarma," Dred said, being blunt as usual. "I'm sure that there many other Mahrim named Felas, and even more that are Brindle colored." "It doesn't matter," Tarma said defiantly. "Either way, I have to find out. Even if it is just to ease my mind. And let me accept my family's death. If this Felas really is my sister...I just need to know." The ever-growing group had finally reached the shop. "Listen, everyone. I'm going in with Nana, but the rest of you, please say here." Jar's face was almost pitiful when he said, "Tarma, I'm going with you, too." "No, Jar. I appreciate it, but this is something I need to do, alone." "Well, then, why am I going with you?" asked Nana, confused at the new developement between the two Mahrim. "I need you there because you know Felas, and you can explain things if she's not my sister." Jar, reluctantly, stayed outside with the others, staring at the stars, as Tarma and Nana walked throught the door. "So. Tyr, Sazuroth, mind explaining some things? I'm confused. Okay, well, I know about the ruins, but what are you two planning on doing with them, and why did you two join forces?" "Jar, if you don't know by now, then don't worry about it," said Tyr. "Just stay out of the way, follow our lead, and fight if necessary. Stick by Tarma, she knows what we're doing, ok?" "That doesn't answer my questions," Jar said, still confused. The only reason I'm even involved with these guys is because of Tarma. And that stupid fish. Still, it'll be worth it, as long as Tarma and I live through this... Jar decided to walk over to the Velati named Kanya. As he approached her, the wolf that seemed to always be with her walked over, almost asking to be petted. He did, and Drogo warmed up to him immediatly. "Kanya, right?" he asked. "The name's Jarrius. Nice wolf you have here." "Thanks," she replied. "His name's Drogo." "Hi, Drogo." Addressing Kanya, Jar said, "Well, what's a Velati doing with a rag-tag team like ours?"
14. Jarrius sat across from Tarma, staring into her eyes. The day had definitly been one heck of a rollercoaster ride, but he was glad to finally find the one he'd been searching for for the past four years. "Well, Tarma," he began. "It's certianly been awile, eh? So many things to talk about, and alot of catching up to do." "Ya," she replied. "I've missed you, Jar. You have no idea how I've missed you." "And I've missed you, too," Jar said. More than you can ever know. "So, tell me Jar. What've you been doing the past few years?" she asked, eager to get the conversation going. "Well, mostly just trying to track you down. I caught wind that you might be here, so I came. Luckly enough, here you are." He replied, grinning childishly. "Tarma, there's something I need you to know..." "What, Jar? What is it?" I have something for you to know, too. "Tarma, remember when we were kids, we said that we would never be apart?" he asked hopefully. "Yes," she replied, her heart starting to pound. "And that we would always be there for each other, no matter what?" "Yes. And that we would always be in each other's hearts, even if we do get seperated!" "Yes!" he replied, excited that she remembered. "Well, I want us to never be apart. Ever." "Me, too, Jar," she replied, her eyes starting to swell with tears. "Tarma," he said, his eyes burning as well. "Tarma, I love you. I always have..." "Oh, Jar!" she exclamed, grabbing him and kissing him. "Jar, never leave me. I can't bear to think about us ever being apart." "I'm not going anywere, Tarma," he replied rather emotionally. "I'm never loosing you again." The two love-struck Mahrim embraced again, kissing each other with heated and built-up passion. At that moment in time, Eskari walked in. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING IN HERE?" Jar screamed at the Slake. "GET OUT!" "Er...Tyr wants you two to come and talk..." Eskari started, but was interupted by Jar. "I don't give two FUCKS what Tyr wants right now, got it?! Now, get out before I fucking kill you right where you stand!" "Tyr is quite adamint that you two..." Eskari never finished the sentence because when he started to talk, Jarrius charged. Eskari easily sidesteped the mad Mahrim, and knocked Jar on the floor. He then jumped on him, pinning him in place. "Jar, what the hell are you doing?" Tarma cried out. "What has he ever done to you?" Jar fought to regain his upright position, but the Slake was strong. "That fucker was trying to steal you away from me, and I won't let him!" he called out, just as Tyr and Dred came crashing through the door. "WHAT?" yelled Eskari. "The hell are you talking about? Me and Tarma? NO! She's just my contact, and that's it. It's all business between her and I." "LIAR!" screamed Jar. "You expect me to believe you? I never trust Slakes, even at the best of times, so why should I belive you?" "Jar, listen to me," said Tarma. "Eskari and I are part of an undergound faction. He was to come here to get an update on the progress of the section that I'm in charge of. There's nothing between us, Jar. Please, stop this!" "Tarma, I want to believe you, but I can't...I just can't... I..." Jarrius said, his emotions finally getting the better of him. His anger had wayed, but he was drained. Damn it. "What's going on in here?" asked Tyr, his weapons out and ready. "Jar made a jump on me," replied Eskari, who was still on top of Jar. "He seems to be over his anger. Get off him," said Dred, his compassion being more towards Jar, who he'd grown a liking towards, rather than the Slake. "Well," said Tyr, as Eskari hesitantly got off Jar. "Since we're all here, might as well start explaining what Dred and I have planned. Tarma, Eskari, you need to tell us what you're organization has planned as well. And Jar, don't go after Eskari again. The last thing we need is for one or both of you to get killed, especially by the hands of our own people. Ok?" Jar, sitting next to Tarma, glared at Eskari. "I won't if he won't," he said, anger still evident in his voice. Dred looked at the others in the room. "Well, who's going to start?"
15. OOC: It's funny, because me and my best friend had this exact same conversation not even two hours ago! Starwind, as someone who considers himself to be a friend, using the term loosly at best, I'm going to be as blunt and honest with you as I can. First off, I think it's great that you want to change the world for the better, but, realistically, how many people who've had the same ideas have succeded? The ones who have have either died, or just gotten trampled by some other faction wanting what morals and power they think is better. That being said, this world wouldn't be the way it is if it wasn't for people like you. I'm not saying that you're wierd, because I have the same mentality and opinions on this topic as you seem to have. I would love if we could change the world into the "perfect" world, but the inevitible question comes into mind: What's perfect? What's the "right" way for the world to be? Those answers are different for every person in this crazy world. Sure, there are alot of people that have the same views and opinions, but the sad, yet true, fact is that the majority rules. If you don't agree with the majority, you're in the minority, and then that spells bad news for you. The only way to beat this system is to band with others to have a greater force, or to simply change yourself and accept the ones that are ruling. It's the basic concept that most governments revolve around, and, although it has it's flaws, some minor and others really crippling, it's seeming to work for most of them. Ya, a world united for one cause, working for the bettering of itself would be great, but considering the way the world is now, it'll never happen. At least not if it follows the same paths that it's been following during the past 100 years or so. One other major factor that alot of people miss is that it's not just politics and veiws on how countries should be run. Alot of why the world is the way it is is because of Religion. I'm not bashing religion, because I myself am an extreamly spiritual person, and as such rely on religion. But the fact remains, religion and people's views are what make the world go round. Another thing is that alot of people are scared of change. Not all, but most. Most people would rather just have a "who cares?" attitued, and leave things the way they are. It's only when a large band of people come together to change things that something like what you want to do will happen, and even then it's not for sure. Look at the people who have tried, like Hitlar. He wanted a world that was united, but he also wanted to conquer. That was his downfall. To conquer and to unite are totally different things, so he contradicted himself, and was acting for his own personal gain, not for the bettering of the whole. The same could be said for many a faction, and most of them are doing it only for their own personal gain. Granted, there's always some greedy driving force, however small or big, in anything someone does, but some things are worse than others, so, my question is: Is the world that could be, as in the world that we could create by changing the one we have, better or worse than the one that we live in today? To sum up, I think it's very noble of you to want to change the world, and even more courageous of you to speak up, but the idea that we can change the world is a little nieve. A few cannot overthrough many a generation's work, and even if we could, it would take years, if not decades, to undo. So, just follow what you belive, and if it conflicts with what's already there, then so be it. -Random
16. The Hell?! Jarrius thought. Why's she hugging him? A Mahrim showing any sort of affection to a Slake, it's totally unheard of. Even when it comes to Tarma. He could feel his body start to express his feelings of resentment. It's not that he has trouble hiding his emotions, but the fact that he wanted this Eskari to see it. "Hey, Tarma, I'm going to go and find Tyr...you wanna come?" "Sure," she replied, then turning to the Slake, "You comming, too?" "...might as well," he replied hesitently. As the threesome entered the Black Couldron, Jar immediatly searched and found Tyr. He walked over, and sat down. Tarma was right behind him, but Eskari was hesitent to follow. He oppted to go and sit in an obscure corner of the bar. Oh well, better off without him, anyways, Jarrius thought resentfully. Sitting at the table with Tyr was Dred. "So, what now?" Jar said, addressing Tyr. "Now, we wait. Let's just see how the winds of fate blow tonight..." Tyr replied, rather philosophical. Jarrius and Tarma ordered a plate of cooked fish apiece, as well as pale ale and milk, respectively. Jar glanced over at the only Thuma in the bar hesitently, knowing their kinds short tempers. He looked away just as Dred started to speak. "Jar, who is this lovely Mahrim?" Dred asked. "This is the one and only Tarma! Ya know, the one I've been talking to you about," he replied, rather exitedly. "Yes, Jar, we remember," said Tyr. "We don't really need another rendition of your past. What's important now is the present, and the future, and what we're going to do about the Runes." Tyr started the explanation, but just as he was going to continue, the Barkeep told him that someone, with a glance was known to be a Government Slake, wanted to talk to him. He simply walked over without a word. Dred, however, decided to take up the explanation where Tyr was forced to leave it. Jar and Tarma sat patiently, waiting for Dred to begin.
17. "Jar, remember well what happen the last time you were around me you have no more tails to lose. I can not openly involve you yet again." Jar stood there, stunned by his former friends out-of-character actions. When he had met Ryu, he had been alot like himself: reckless, argumentative, resistant to authority, and full of spunk. It was their reckless personalities that had gotten them into trouble that one fateful day back in Ragian... Ruy's break into the Jar's life was much like Jar's own appearance into Tyr and Dred's lives today. Jar and Ayli were walking throught the market. Ryu rand past, down the street, having stolen food, and was being chased by the guards. Ryu misstepped, and ran right into Jar, knocking them both to the ground. Then, one of the guards grabed Ryu, as well as Jar. Ayli slayed the one holding Jar, and then Jar and Ryu finished the other two off. After that, Ryu told the other two his story of being an assasin, and decided to join them. After they left the Inn, going to a pub to eat, one of Ryu's previous team mates, a female Slake, ambushed them. The three fought her, and eventually killed her, but not without damage. Ryu and Ayli was unharmed, but Jar wasn't so lucky. His tail had been severed, and his left ear tip was burned off. After that had happened, Ryu told Jar and Ayli that he didn't want to put them into any danger, and left them to follow his own path. This was the last time Jar had seen Ryu. "Ryu, what's wrong? You don't seem yourself," said Jar, still stunned. "Jar, like I said, I can't get you involved again. Just leave me alone. I'll be fine." And with that, Ryu dissapeared for the second time. As Jar watched Ryu walk away, he noticed that he wasn't alone. A familiar brindle Mahrim out of the shadows. "Tarma!" Jarrius said, running over to her. "It's Jarrius. Do you remember me? Are you ok? What happened to your family? Where have you been all these years?" Tarma interrupted with her calm voice, "Jar, of course I remember you. I'll answer any questions you have, but not right now. I need your help."

19. "Anyways, Why are we here? Good question. It all started..." began Dred, but he was interupted by Jar. "Hang on a sec, Dred. I'll be right back." Jar had noticed a dark furred Mahrim walk into the bar. As Jar walked over to him, he said, "Ryu? Ryu Asumaki? That you?" "No, I'm not. You're thinking of someone else," the stand-offish Mahrim replied. Jar noticed that he was very skiddish, looking for something to either find or get away from. "You have to be Ryu. I'm Jarrius, remember me?" Jar said, wondering what was wrong with the other Mahrim. "You, me, and Ayli met a few months ago in Ragian..." The Mahrim cut him off short, saying, "I'm not Ryu, ok? Leave me alone, or you'll be missing more than your tail." After giving Jar a meaningful glance, the Mahrim haistily walked out of the bar. Jar made his way over to the table with Tyr and Dred, throughly confused. "What was that about?" asked Tyr, almost as confused as Jar himself. "It's a long story...one better off told when I find out what's wrong with Ryu. I'll see you guys around, ok?" And with that, Jar promptly followed the Mahrim, who he believed to be one called Ryu Asumaki. "Oh, and thanks for the fish, Dred." It has to be him, thought Jar. It has to. He knew about my tail. Jar's tail had been severed close to his body the day he, Ryu, and Ayli had met. Since he wore a vest-trench, not many people noticed that it was missing. Too many people don't remember me anymore. It must be a mistake. Either that, or I really don't know them. In that case, I'm crazy, but on the other hand... The thoughts ran through his head as he ran to catch up to the mysterious Mahrim.
20. Jar nearly choked on the fish. The nerve of that bastard! "Watcha mean by that?" he said, and not too nicely. "I'm only being realistic. How do you know that she even remembers you? According to you, it's been quite awhile since you two were friends, right?" Dred replied, not abashed in the slightest. "Okay, you have a point. It has been awhile, but you don't know her, or me, for that matter. She was like a sister, and she would never forget me..." Jar said, but then he started to doubt himself. Is it possible that she doesn't recognize me? She never said anything when I ran into her and that Slake, not that I really gave her a chance... "Jar, you okay?" asked Tyr. "Uh, ya. Sorry, guys," said Jar, coming back. "So, anyways. What brings you two here? Seems like quite the place for you, considering all the comotion going on. Especially with all the Government-rep Slakes roaming around...Dred, pace yourself, or you'll choke." "I coulda given you the same advice a few moments ago," Dred replied. "Anyways, Why are we here? Good question. It all started..."
21. Just as Jarrius was getting settled to watch the fight below, he noticed Tyr and his Mahrim partner running down the adjoining street. As much as he wanted to watch the battle, he wanted answers more. He hoped off the balcony, and began to follow the two via the roof-tops. It was hard to catch up, but thankfully, they stopped in an abandoned shack. Jar jumped off the roof, grabed his daggers, and entered the shack cautiously... "Tyr! Show yourself," he called out. Without warning, hands had dissarmed him, and Mahrim paws put him into a stale-mate with a combination head-lock/arm-lock. "Damn...*cough*...can't...a guy call...*choke*...out a...god-damn...name...?" "Dred, it's ok. It's only Jar," Tyr said, relativley relieved. "Jar, we must stop running into each other like this." "Right," Jar replied, rubbing his sore neck. "Ok, who the hell are you?" "My name is Dredick Farog, but you will call me Dred," replied the curious Mahrim. Jar could tell this guy was a no-nonsence, but a kind soul...considering he had asked him to come with them for lunch. "Alright." Facing the other, Jar said, "Tyr, I still want those answers...Who was that Mahrim, and what did she want with you?" "Why do you need to know?" "I have my reasons...and don't think those daggers are the only weapons I have. Tell me, or it's to your loss," Jar replied savegly. "Dred, why don't you pick this one up? You're the better talker." "Hardly." Dred started, "Okay, for your first question. I don't know who the hell she is, and I don't give a damn. For your second question, it's a bit more complicated than what she wanted with us. It's more of what she wanted with Tyr. She said her name was Tarma, and asked him if his name was Eskari. Tyr said no, she appologized profusely, and walked away. That's all we know. Now, time for you to answer some questions...Tyr?" "Ok. First off, why did you want to know about Tarma so much?" "Like I said, I have my reasons...but I guess that since you told me, I might as well tell you," Jar said. He started at the beginning... "When I was growing up, my family traveled all over this continent. In one city, I can't recall the name, my father decided to stay. When I was there, I met a young Mahrim in the marketplace...and we became friends. If you havn't guessed yet, that Mahrim was Tarma. We became very close, and she was like a little sister to me, as I have no real siblings of my own. One day, my parents, who were Revolutionists, were captured, and I was forced to run. I was inprisonated a few years later, and some Revolutionists, friends of my parents, had saved me. Although I was glad to have been freed from prison, I was pissed that I had had help. I really didn't care who it was because, as for all my life, I've never relied on anyone...not even my parents. When I got free, I went back to the city Tarma had lived in, but when I got there, I found out that her family had been shamed and captured, and Tarma had escaped. Ever since that day, I've been trying to find her...and I heard a rumor that her sister was in this city. I had to check it out, and it seems that I've found her. That a good answer for ya?" "That's more info than we needed, but appreciated," said Dred. "So, you still hungry? We can continue our conversation elsewhere."
22. "Common, Leif...why?" "I dunno...," Tyr replied. "Well, you didn't have to kill him," staited Dred. They both stopped short at the sound of footsteps. Jar's footsteps. "Tyr. I want a word with you...," Jar said, his voice betraying none of the fear he was feeling, but his body denoting otherwise. "That young Mahrim...why did she come up to you after you killed the guard?" "That was...a private conversation," Tyr replied, picking his words carefully, as he always seemed to do. "Oooookay...whatever," Jar said, as he turned his back to Tyr and the Slake standing beside him. "I'm going to find some food...hopefully I won't get caught, eh?" "Maybe you could come with us for some grub?" suggested the Slake. His friendly attitude was unusual for a Slake, and it caught Jar ofguard. "Thanks, but now I work, and eat, alone...ciao!" Jar vanished into the shadows of the dark allyway. As he slipped away from Tyr and Co., he ran smack into another duo: another Slake, and the female Mahrim! "Uh...sorry...er...hi...um...bye!" Jar said, running from them. He could feel his cheeks reddening, and the humiliating scene made his head spin. He could hear the beautiful Mahrim's laughter following him down the ally. He ran all the way back to the inn that he and Ayli had rented. He stayed there and planed to sleep for the rest of the day. Well, he might as well, it was the last night paid for. Before he went to bed, he walked over to the balcony. From there, he saw another scene. Damn, Jar thought. Sure are alot of people with problems here today... Below him, there was a Slake, obviously somehow connected to the government, holding a female Wilder. Facing them was a strange female. There was a demonic-looking wolf, and behind them a spirit-like dragon began to form...This should be good!
23. OKAY, OKAY! stupid Jo Mama joke, but here goes...three versions! Your Mama is so fat, when she stands on the weight scale, it says "Please wait, Processing..." Your Mama is so fat, when she stands on the weight scale, it says, "To be continued..." Your Mama is so fat, when she stands on the weight scale, it says, "Does Not Compute..." And now, a classic Blonde Joke! Once upon a time, a blonde became so sick of hearing blonde jokes that she had her hair cut and dyed brown. A few days later, as she was driving around the countryside, she stopped her car to let a flock of sheep pass. Admiring the cute woolly creatures, she said to the shepherd, "If I can guess how many sheep you have, can I take one?" The shepherd, always the gentleman replied, "Of course." The blonde thought for a moment and for no discernible reason said, "352." This being the correct number, the shepherd was, understandably, totally amazed and exclaimed, "You're right! O.K., I'll keep to my end of the deal. Take your pick of my flock." The blonde carefully considered the entire flock and finally picked one that was by far cuter and more playful than any of the others. When she was done, the shepherd turned to her and said, "O.K., now I have a proposition for you. If I can guess your true hair color, can I have my dog back?
24. Jar crouched cautiously behind a grouping of barrols, watching the scene infront of him. He was curious about this Tyr... Why? What does this guy have to gain from saving me? he thought. A lone Mahrim like me? His thoughts were interupted by the appearance of a young, beautiful Mahrim. Her black, brown, and orange fur glistened in the sunlight, and it was meticulously placed. She was perfection. Jar tried to listen to what they were saying, but he realized he couldn't, without being seen. Normally he wouldn't give a damn, but today, well, his pride still hurt. That damn Tyr! I could'a whomped that police's ass if it wasn't for him! DAMN! Jar thought. Just like that fucking stupid Ayli... Ayli, a yound Mahrim, was Jarrius', um, "former" partner in crime. They had met a few seasons ago, and decided that two heads were better than one. About a month ago, Ayli had convinced him to come to Balthasar, a god-forsaken hell hole, saying there was "unlimited treasure beyond your imagination" hidden somewhere within the city walls. Once they got there, they searched. And searched. Jar became, well, fucking annoyed, and killed Ayli for being a dumbass. This place is a hole...a whole lot of NOTHING! Jar had thought, resentfully, the night that Ayli had...ceased... to be his assistant. And the worst part is that fucker spend all the god-damn funds! With his mind elsewhere, Jar noticed that the three figures infront of him had gone their seperate ways. Curious to find out what had happened and been said, he decided to follow Tyr, as he seemed to be friendly. Just incase, he got his daggers ready as he walked up to Tyr, then tapped him on the shoulder...
25. My custom title can have a few meaning, both literal and abstract. Take it as you will, but to me...it means that you never really appreciate what you have until it's gone. Totally different, but the meaning's there, you just have to go indepth and read between the lines... Also, the full saying is: "It's hard to see with eyes wide shut, so open them tightly, and find out what you have..." - Random Red Mage -Random
