1. Linkk, speaking from experience, I'm sure that this friend will be able to handle whatever it is you plan on throwing at him/her. You have a natural way to getting to people, and I'm sure that your friend will listen, no matter what you have to say...now, about what happened, one can only guess, but if it's about what I think, don't worry about it. People make decisions, after all. And, if you really are worried about them, go and tell them that...no matter how much they don't want to hear it. As a friend, that's part of your "job," per say. So, my advice to you is to follow your heart, and do what you feel is right...you know what I mean. ~_^ -Random

3. I'd have to agree with Adahn. Sure, we might have regrets, but without what happened in our past, we wouldn't be the people we are today, no? That being said, my philosophy on life is: Live your life, have no regrets. In other words, don't do anything that you might regret later on in life...sure, you can't always see if you'll reget something, but it's worked sofar for me. Back on topic, I guess that if I had to name regrets, I'd have to put a couple. First off is, as with the13thman, procrastiantion. Procrastination is really a killer, and for me, almost litterally. I'm not going in detail here, but if anyone want's to know, just PM me and I'll talk with them about it... Second is, well, giving up my virginity. I was so proud of it, and keeping it until I was 19...and then, last night, for some unknown reason, I gave it up. I think that I'll regret this decission later on, but I'm not sad I chose to give it up. Jose is an awsome guy, and I think there's nothing I could have done better but to give that to him to let him know how I really feal...huh, regrets. I guess we'll see... -Random
4. ~Chapter 1, Part 3~ Dawn walked beside her brother, curiosity on her face. "Aryk, where the hell we going?" she asked, irritated. "The hideout's over there. We need to get back and plan Biggs' excape. Aryk?!" "Settle down, Dawn," Aryk finally replied. "We'll get there soon. For now, we have someone to meet." Dawn eyed her brother. Never before had he abandoned any of his group like this, expecially Biggs. Damn you, Aryk. Why don't we just go to the wearhouse. "She's waiting at the river." "Who's waiting at the river?" Dawn asked, now noticing the direction they were heading in. "To be honest, I don't know," Aryk's simple reply. "There's something about her, though." "A girl? You're ditching Biggs for a girl?!" Furry took over Dawn's features, and she pushed Aryk up against the wall. "The HELL I'm going to walk with you just so you can get with some chick! Biggs is like family, Aryk. Don't leave him behind for a stupid-" Dawn's words stopped abruptly as Aryk placed his left hand over her mouth. "Shut up, Dawn! I'm not doing this because I like her...I don't even know her name. I just feel like I need...we need to talk to her, at least. I feel like it's important." "Fine," she said, grabbing Aryk's arm and yanking it away from her. "But, I'm only going if you promise that, within the hour, we'll be back at base, planning for Biggs." "Ok." Dawn watched as Aryk once again started to walk down the cobblestone streets. She could hear the Rune river rushing through the banks, and it seemed to calm her down a bit. As they passed the outer buildings of the city, the cobblestones became less and less, leading into a dirt road. Once they had reached the first bridge at the river, Aryk turned right. Dawn noticed that they were headed towards the second bridge, the one used mainly for shepherds and their flocks, seeing that the road from it lead out to the pastures, while the first leads to the forest. "She should be somewhere around here, Dawn." "Hmph," was the only thing she said. She was still pissed about this whole thing, but was willing to follow along, if only to get this done sooner. The sooner we meet this girl, the sooner we get Biggs out was her reasoning. Dawn followed her brother towards the little groove of trees near the bridge, and that's when she saw a figure sitting in the shade, watching the water. The girl looked up at them, but sat still, waiting for them to come over. "There you are. Thank the gods," came her welcome, relieve obvious in her voice. "Ya, we came," Dawn said. Muttering under her breath, "Stupid bitch." "Dawn!" the short, angry reply from Aryk. "Hello again. My name is Aryk, and this is Dawn, my little sister." "Nice to meet you, Aryk. Dawn. My name is Evangelica Rose Huntington II, but you can call me Eva." Shock stole over Dawns face, as well has her brothers. "Eva Rose, as in Eva the princess?" "Yes, I am the princess." Eva blushed, and glanced down at the water again. "I-I didn't know, your higness," studdered Aryk. "Forgive me for being so rude to you earlier...but, why where you running from your own guards?" "I'll tell you, but I think it's too dangerous here. Do you have a place we can stay, or even just get out of this sun?" "Sure, follow me, your higness," came Aryk's reply. Dawn could see the awe in his eyes, but she just rolled her own. Stupid boys, always thinking about one thing...whatever. "I think I already told you to call me Eva...you should, seeing as calling me princess could get us into some real trouble." "And people just seeing you won't?" Dawn replied, humered at the girl's nieve logic. "Dawn, that's enough," Aryk said. Then, turning to Eva, "Just follow us, Eva. We'll take you to our hideout." "Aryk, how old are you?" asked Eva, seemingly out of nowhere. "I'm 17. Dawn's 14." "Really? I'm 14, too!" "What a coincidence," Dawn replied sarcastically. This is who we abandoned Biggs for? Huh, could'a been worse, I suppose. The threesome walked back towards the gang's hideout in strained silence, as much for inconspicuancy as for uncomfortability.
5. I'm not sure who I'd sign up as...but I deffintately want to take part in this one. I'd probably just be a minor character, someone who just witnisses the whole thing, and ends up getting dragged into it somehow, or something like that. I'd have to agree with Simplicity, DW would make the EXCELLENT choice for the assasin. And Simplicity, well, a princess if ever I "saw" one...~_^ Well, I guess that we're just waiting for you, Satori...keep us posted, as I'm sure at least the four of us, Sandy, DW, Simplicity, and myself, will sign up. 7. Interesting comments so far, to be sure. Personally, I usually wait until the other person comes and asks. No, I'm not a wimp, but, as Linkk said, I have my reasons...and we both know what that was...er, ya. *coughMIKEcough*coughBOBcough* o_O You know...moving on: My opinion, for both guys and girls, is that if you like somone, you should go for it. Because, believe me, it's hard when the person you like is "snatched" up by someone else. But, at the same time, rejection, in all forms, is hard to accept. As for "traditional" asking outs, I think that if that's what you want, then that's what you should do...I mean, if you're a guy, and you think that the guy should be the "man of the relationship," then by all means, go ahead. And if you're a girl, and you think that the guy should be the one asking, then wait...but, as always, give him hints every now and then so he gets it. I think that everyone should, if they like someone, give them hints. Some people are either not looking for the signals, or just dence...harsh, yet true. Back on topic, and a summery, I think that do what you want to do...wait, go for it, meet in the middle, whatever it is you want to do, go right ahead. Alot of things are tolerated, and even encouraged, today, so do whatever floates your boat! Here's a different spin on this topic...what about gay people? Who should ask who out first in a homosexual relationship(-to-be)? Just wondering... Loves! ~_^ -Random
8. Interesting questions, Tical. All will be answered soon, and the ages will be revealed in my next post, coming up later on this week. As for the "not anything new" comment, just wait...I guarentee there's a twist that not even Fox even knows about...well, she knows most of it, but not the "big one." Also, there are three main characters, as stated before: Aryk, Eva and Dawn. So, any other questions, just post and either Fox or I will answer them. Oh, and Fox, great post, exactly what I wanted...keep it up! And, I would be happy with whatever you put, even if it's just two paragraphs, as this is as much your story as it is mine. To all who's reading, keep posted, and watch as Dawn, Aryk and Eva become closer, ultimately leading to a great and unexpected ending, chosen exclusevly by Fox herself, although unknown to all but me until now. 'Till my next admission to the story, farewell our readers. Loves! ~.^ -Random
9. Marrick stood watching his new traveling mates. Sure are a few interesting people here. The older girl who had just joined them, Alena, was dismounting the hoarse she rode on. Then, he glanced at Reeve...something about her was quite alluring...but he couldn't tell what it was. Just, something. Suddenly one of the large group, the girl with the baggy pants, faced them all and addressed them. "So, everyone here is a Keeper. Quite the thing, all of us meeting up on the same day-" "Almost fate, one would say," interrupted Marrick, almost wispering. But, as he felt the stares of the others, his face went red. He distracted himself as best he could by petting Jade on her white beak. Beside him, Reeve giggled. "I'd have to agree with Marrick," she said inbetween giggles. "I think that we should all tell the others where we come from," Marrick suggested, always eager to find out things about others he meets. "Then go first, since you suggested it," said Reeve. None of the others looked like they were going to start, so, looking at the ground, Marrick started. "My name is Marrick Reid, I'm 17 years old, and I'm origonally from the mountain town of Tarmi. " Marrick hesitated for a moment, as he ususally did when trying to be open with others. "I don't know whether you want to know, or if you care, but I have no family. I just wanted to say that it's nice to finally have some people that, although we just met, seem to want to get to know me." Seeing that Marrick was uncomfortable, Reeve took the chance to take the heat off him and introduced herself. = = = = = Sorry for the short post, everyone...limited time on the net today. Just wanted to get the story moving, and get everyone a chance to give a bit of a verbal background to their characters.
10. Guess I'm doing Tical's, eh? (Canadian, I know, eh?) Nomad Tical 6/10 I'm giving you six because your set is...unique? Not quite the right word, but close...anyways, both pictures you have are pixely, and the font is really hard to read...and the color of the font, matched with the color of the boarder, really clashes with the rest of picture. Other than that, I do like the pictures you chose, and the idea behind them is good...it's just that the negative aspects outweigh the positive. No hard feelings?
11. Hey! This is my attempt...not very good, but the best I could do with Paint... Hope you like! If you want an avi, just ask.
12. After Aimee had her run-in with the Alchemist brothers, she decided that home would be her best option. She hated dresses, and Ani had put her in just that. She considered them to be a hinderance. So, her short journey home was started. She jumped onto the roof of a nearby building, and started to jump from each one to the next until she ran out of buildings. She then came to a dirt road, and followed it for a mile or so. Then, once she had reached the woods, she followed a familiar path, although it was unrecognizeable to any but her. Aimee took her time, knowing that the chances of being found were slim. Glancing this way and that, the realization of her hunger came back tenfold. She knew there was a house in a clearing just to her left, so she went there, hoping that the occupants hadn't vacated the premises already. As she approached the clearing, flashbacks flooded her mind. It was at the place where this house's driveway meets the main road that it all happened. She slanked and darted, alternatly, up to the house. Just over there, just in sight, is where my parents were killed...and where my soul was forcefully taken from me. She had reached the house. Sin, I will have my revenge, even if it's the last thing I do... Aimee was creaping into the house when a dog started barking somewhere in the yard. It seemed as if it had noticed her, but no. It was barking at a fox that was trying to do the same as her: feed. Lights turned on in the house. Aimee bolted out of the house, and jumped onto the roof. She could hear concerned voices coming from inside, and a man came walked out with a blunt weapon, probably just a piece of wood. Huh...easy prey. Aimee's only thought as she watched the man cautiously walk out into the darkness, away from the light and watching eyes. It was when the man had reached the chicken's pen that she made her move. She vaulted easily off the roof, landing well out of the light's glow. Sneaking up on her pray, just feet from where he stood, the man turned...and Aimee jumped. He bairly let out a muffled scream when she slit his throught with her Dragon Claws...the feast was here. A few minutes later, the man's family went out to see where he had gotten to. The scene awaiting them was fairly...messy. The man, three parallel slices along his neck, and one cutting his mouth wide open. There was also two small holes in his neck, where the blades didn't hit, and each opening oozed with blood. The man was pale, but there was no sign of what did this to him. By the time the man's family had found him, Aimee was already at her doorstep. She froze and hid in the shadows at the sound of footsteps, waiting there to see who had come to visit her at her run-down shack she called home...
13. Thanks, Des! Those comments really helped, and I've fixed it as best I could. The only thing I couldn't do is put black around the forfront font...fouth-full fof f's...lol...wow. Anyways, I couldn't do that because of Paint, so limiting...ya. So, hope it's better. By the way, the words are "Can you see me?" Unoffically, I love your set, but I'm not going to rate them, seeing as mine already has been...next person, rate Des' set, not mine! -Random
14. ~ Chapter 1, Part 1 ~ Aryk stood in the blistering sun, waiting for the opportune moment to strike. He and his band of four had been scouting the crowd, looking for the best candidate to rip off. Then he saw it. She was a wealthy woman, with loads of jewels hanging off of her well looked after body. She had foolishly placed her purse, no doubt filled with money, on the ground. It was an open invitation. Aryk signaled to Dawn, and she moved in for the kill. The other three were still off looking for their own prize, but Aryk had full confidence in Dawn's skill. Aryk and Dawn were brother and sister, you see. They had grown up on the streets, their parents having mysteriously dissapeared when they were young. Aryk, three years older than Dawn to the day, had nurtured his little sister as if she was his own child. Because of that, there was a trust between them that was unwavering, just as was their love for each other. Dawn walked casually through the crowed towards her target, looking as inconspicuous as the rest. To any passerby, she appeared only to be interested in the act that had drawn the crowd, and was simply trying to get a better look. Hardly her intentions, but it was an art that she had perfected. Aryk watched in satisfied awe as his sister slinked her way back in his direction. It was then that the woman decided that it was time to go. When she reached for her purse, she realized it wasn't there. "Help! Somebody, help!" she screamed at noone inparticular. "My purse, it's gone!" Once Dawn heard the womans frantic shouts, she bolted it, followed closely by her brother and the others. They decided to split, and each took their own path, running to their hideout. Once they got there, they saw that one of them wasn't so lucky as to make it back. Aryk spoke up, "Has anyone seen Biggs?" After the shaking heads and mumbled remarks, he decided to take action. "Alright, you all stay here. I'll see if I can't find him." With that, he walked out the door. Aryk searched Biggs' known hang-out places, seeing if any of their contacts had seen him. Not surprisingly, none had. Then, as if it wasn't obvious enough, he decided to go to the jail house. Walking along the cobblestone streets, weaving his way among the people and carrages, Aryk was deep in thought. Damn it, Biggs. Why'dja have to go and get caught? Aryk had reached his destination, and walked up to the guards. "Hello," he said. "I was wondering if you guys ha-" "Go away, little scum, before I arrest you for disterbing peace!" "Um, bye." Aryk was pissed off now. He walked around the corner, jumped on a pile of barrels, and glanced into the court-yard, where the ones arrested wait until they are admitted. He looked hard, and, sure enough, he saw Biggs, tied up and flanked by two guards. Damn, he thought. How the hell am I supposed to get him out now? His thoughts where distracted by Dawn pulling at his pant leg. "Dawn, what the hell are you doing here? I thought I told you to stay put. This could be dangerous!" Aryk was really pissed now. "Go away, Dawn. Lemme handle this, ok?" "Aryk, there's a hole in the wall just over there. I think I can squeeze into it if I really try." Aryk looked at her sceptically, her eyes pleading. "All well and good that you might be able to fit, but how in the name of Hell do you think Biggs is going to get out? And what do you think you'll do once your in?" "Aryk, trust me," was all that Dawn said. "Whether you like it or not, I'm going in, even if it is just to let him know we're planning on getting him out." Before Aryk could say a word, she ran to the hole, and slipped through. Aryk ran over to try and stop her, and hissed, "Dawn, get back her! Now!" No reply. Damn it! Why'd she do that? Aryk had no choice but to wait for her to come back out. He decided to walk over to the barrels again, as it was such a great place to see what was happening in the yard. Just as he reached the barrels, a young girl, running like a madman, bumped into him, causing both to fall to the ground. "The hell you doing?" came Aryk's sharp remark. "Watch where you're going, dumbass." "Please, you have to help me! I'm being chased by the castle guards, and I can't run from them forever...Please," she begged, her eyes tearing up. Damn guilt-trips. "Why should I help you? You've given me no reason." "Please! You must! I'll give you all the money you want...Please!" Aryk pondered this for a moment. The money would be great, but I need to stay and wait for Dawn. "How far are the guards?" "I think I lost most of them, but the rest should be here any minute." Her deep brown eyes conveyed utmost worry, and this was the factor that decided Aryk's answer. He was a sucker for dark, sparkling eyes. "I'll help, but for now, you need to hide. I have business right here at the moment, but once I'm done, I'll come find you. Go to the second bridge by the Rune river, and wait. I'll be there shortly." Aryk watched the young girl dissapear around the bend, then climed the barrels. He could see Dawn crawling back towards the hole already, so he jumped down and ran to meet her. In the shadow of the large, brick wall, Zee emerged. "Well?" questioned Aryk, concern obvious in his rough voice. "He'll be alright for now. He's just happy that we're planning, is all." "How did you get past the guards?" "Guards? There were no guards...what are you talking about, Aryk?" Dawn asked, a perplexed look on her face. "Nothing. The sun must be playing with my eyes," he replied, unsure himself if he even saw the guards. "Come on. We have to go." = = = = = Well, guys, there's the first installment of Demon~Angel. This is a fantasy story written by Vampire_Fox and myself, set in a FFIX-type world. It has three main characters, Aryk, Dawn, and the princess, name witheld for reason. Anyway, the posting will alternate between Fox and myself, rotating through the characters, and told from the viewpoint of one, and only one, character per post. Well, I guess that Fox is up next...Take it away, Amanda!
15. Stag: Harry, I am your father... (Sorry, I couldn't resist! -Random)
16. Fox, hunny, love it! Although it is a little grainy, I understand...Paint. I know, I use it, too. That, Retribution, would be why mine looked grainy, and the font looked wierd...Paint is really limiting. Well Fox, I give you a 7/10...woulda given you an eight, but that would be favortisim...hell you get an 8/10. My only real beef, besides the graininess, is the lack of a boarder...you need to start boardering your banners and avis, hon. Also, a different picture, or a different part of the same one, for your avi would make this set even better...but, the words in both the banner and avi fit almost perfectly. Good job!
17. First off, lemme say that I really like the idea behind this RP. Awesome, really. Count me onboard for sign ups, as well. So, you said you wanted pros and cons with having a hero
[in any RPG that's not "save the world from the bad guys with massive weapons and godlike powers that manage to get you out of every single life-threatening situation"].
Alright, you've got it, but I'll make my points directly to your story, as it'll be constructive towards your planning, hopefully. Pros: Well, the pros are easy. There seems to always be romance between the "hero" and the leading lady, so haveing a hero could make this RP that much more inticing. Also, having a hero would ballence this RP out a bit, seeing as you have three people as "bad guys," as it were. Having a positive force is always good, unless one of the three actually is good, but that'll be up to you... Cons: This is a little tougher. *Thinks hard* Some cons, in my opinion, for having a hero in the story is that it could possibly take away from the story as much as it would add to it. What I mean is that if you plan on having the story as one of decite, lies, and backstabbing, a hero would be totally out of place unless he was to foil everyone's plans, which it doesn't look like you want to do. Really, that's all that I can think of right now...sleepy time almost. Anyways, my two cents have been said. I'll be anxiously waiting for the actual RP to start...*starts to wait anxiously* -Random
18. Alright, guys. Here it is. My first thread in the OB Anthology! 19. Wow....just, wow. Awesome writing skills, methinks. Total potential, kid. I especially like the last one, "Untitled," if you will. The sad thing is that it hits close to home. Forgotten ones that feel out of place...it's like I was meant to read that one. Here's a title for you, if you want: "Seemingly Never" Don't ask why I chose those words...they just popped into my head when I read your poem. Well, looking forward to your next work! -Random

21. Aimee sat on the bed, waiting for Ana to return. So, the foolish hunter has become that which he despises. Ironic, yes, but he got what was coming to him. Personally, I would have killed the bastard. She stared out the window, and saw three figures standing on a roof top across the street. A lone one was running away from them, but none of the three followed. She decided to ignore them, and started to search for her weapons. Just as she hoped off the bed, Ana walked in. "Aimee, what are you doing out of bed?" Ana asked, worry etched in her voice. "You should be asleep, resting from this hectic night." "I need my weapons," was Aimee's simple reply. She started to search, but was once again stopped by Ana's powers. "Little one, you need your rest. Now, sleep." Aimee wanted to protest, but couldn't. Once Ana had placed her back onto the bed, Aimee was released from the spell. "Ana. I need my weapons," Aimee insisted. "Aimee, why do you insist on having them? You don't need them. All you need is sleep." "I'll sleep once I have my weapons," she said, finally giving in, albit for a price. "Alright, my sweet. I'll get them for you, but you must rest once I come back." "Fine," Aimee said, a bit too forced. Sleep? Right. I may be a Childer, but I still am a Vampire. Sleep means little to me. I need my weapons, and once I get them, I'll leave this Ana. She was very kind to me, and it won't soon be forgotten. But, I need to find Sin once more...no fighting this time. Ana had gone to the shut closet, grabbed the two weapons, and laid them on the bed-side table. "There you are, young one. Now, sleep." With that, she left the room to check up on the hunter-turned. Aimee waited for a few minutes, then jumped off the bed yet again. She put her gauntlet on her left arm, and the dragon claws on her right. Then, as quiet as possible, she vacated the room through the broken window. The wind made the otherwise nice evening chilly. Running through the streets, she ran into two young men. It was the two Alchemists she had saw earlier at the pub. Well, this should be interesting. "He-llo. Come to meet your fate, have you, Childer?" asked the one on the left. "Childer? That word will be your last!"
22. Marrick eyed the girl infront of him. She was older than himself, by at least two years, yet she was slightly shorter. But the thing that really interested him was her eyes. They were so like his, it was scary. "The ocean really is beautiful, isn't it?" she asked, turning to stare out at the expance. "It is," he replied. He took a deep breath, and his nose was filled with the salty air. "Breazy as well...all the time." "Yes, it is." Having grown up in the mountains, Reeve knew well what it was like to be by the ocean for the first time. Looking over at the strange woman standing next to him, he noticed that she seemed a little worn out. "Those wounds look new. Need something for that?" "That's really quite nice of you to ask, but I'll be alright," she replied, smiling. Glancing at Jade, "So, where did you get her?" "Huh? Oh, you mean Jade?" he asked in return, again lost in thought. "I saved her from an untimely death back in Tarmi. Her mother was captured, then had eggs. When they hatched, Jade here was the only one born albino. She was to be killed, but I stole her and kept her for myself. That was three years ago." "Interesting," Reeve said in resonse. She shifted her body, standing much like a guy would. "Reeve, can I ask you something?" "Of course, Marrick." Marrick hesitated for a second. "You can ask, Marrick. I have a few questions for you, as well." "Do you know anything about Keepers?" he asked, sure that she would think him crazy. Everyone he asked, they looked at him a madman. "Keepers? Of course!" Reeve exclamed excitedly. "I'm a Keeper! Are you?" "Ya," he replied, relieved that he had found one of his own. "Well then, Marrick, I'm Reeve Barringer, one Keeper of the Seventeen seals." "Full name, eh?" he commented, ammused at her excitement. "My name is Marrick Reid, Sixth Keeper of the Seventeen seals." "Why the sixth?" Reeve asked, confused as to why Marrick had a number, and she didn't. "It's my favorite number," came Marrick's simple reply. "You should pick one, too." "Okay, but I'll chose mine after we meet up with others," she said enthusiastically. "I guess we should go and find the rest of them, huh?" "Sounds good," replied Marrick. Looking at her instrument, he commented, "Nice pan flute. Can you play?" "Sure can! Wanna hear some?" she asked, happy to have a chance to play her beloved flute. "Go ahead. Then we'll go find the others." Marrick and Reeve sat on the dock, each looking at the ocean lost in their own thoughts. As Reeve played, Marrick noticed a man walking down the beach, just to the left of the dock. He was putting a book into his pocket. Suddenly, Jade flew over to the man, and Marrick took off at a run following her, closely followed by Reeve. This is sure an interesting day... = = = = = Aiyanna, Katana, hope it's okay that I gave Marrick a number...it just fit into my post so well. Any beefs, let me know. Oh, Ikillion, that would be your plug...
23. Well, John...got some bad news for you. I WANT THAT SET! Ahem...well, I'd say that the only thing wrong with the set is the lack of boarders...I know, the boarders are there, but maybe a two-pixel boarder would work better visually. As it is now, both the avi and the banner seem to lack a boarder completely. That being said, I really, really like the avi - Kudos! The banner, well, not quite the best pic you could have picked (no pun intended), but it goes really well with the avi. 7/10 -Random
24. Interesting topic...I'll have to think now...*shakes fist at Simplicity*...rriiiiiiight. Anyways, me and my bestist-best best-friend, Vicky...many, many different traditions there...lol. First, I'll give you a little bit of a history, just so you can understand a little. Vicky is two years younger than I am (I'm 19), and we dated off and on for two years. Then, we decided that we were only friends, and now, after over a decade of friendship, we've become room-mates...almost (three months to move-out). On to the tradition...s. Well, since we have quite a few, I'll just put down the ones we do the most often. Basically, since we live, like, not even a five minute walk from each other, we walk around our neighborhood. We walk, and walk, and walk, and walk, for hours at a time. What we do during those hours does vary, but most of the time we just talk about...whatever, really. Sometimes we debate on random topics, complain about family, or just plane out ***** about life, work, friends...you get the idea. After we walk, and walk, etc, we go to either her house or mine, sit on the couch, listen to music, drink tea, and talk even more...about more random shtuff. Well, that's the one we do most often...if I were to write every tradition we have, I'd be writing for at least 12 hours...meh. I'll do it another day, when I didn't work for 10 hours through the night...meh. Ciao! ^.^ -Random
25. Marrick stood in the shadows of a groove of trees. He glanced around him, making sure noone was around, and took an apple. He then proceded to sit back against the tree, eating his prize. Too easy, he thought to himself. This Makeda is certianly different from Tarmi. Hell-uv-a-lot bigger, that's for friggin' sure. Easier to snatch things, too...Marrick! Stop thinking like that. You have to now, seeing as you've been chosen as a Keeper. Marrick, having finished the apple, threw the core aside. He glanced up at the sun, and saw that it was nearly noon. Wonder where Jade got to... he wondered as he walked absently through the small orchard. He brushed a length of silver hair away from his face that had fallen out of it's brown, worn, leather strap. The wind was picking up steadily, and he could see clouds forming and gathering in the distance. Better get myself into the city soon. He gave a short, shrill whistle, and an albino falcon came soaring over the trees. "Jade, finally. I was beginning to worry," he remarked as his companion of three years landed on his protectively clothed right arm. He pet Jade's head affectionatly, then re-positioned her onto his shoulder. "There, missy. Now you can't get into trouble." Marrick smiled as he walked towards the city gates. He loved Jade. She was the only one in the world that cared about him, now that his parents were gone. Mom, Dad...wherever you are, your constant love makes me stronger. Sleep eternally in peace - know your son is safe - he is now a Keeper. As he thought these works, a tear fell down his face. He missed them greatly, but now he had to rely on himself, and Jade, to find his fellow Keepers. "Jade, hopefully we'll find at least one of them here," he said, his voice filled with hope, yet sounding doubtfull all the same. Once inside, he walked over to the first dock he could find. Growing up in the mountains, he never saw the ocean. He was blown away. Wow, the only thought that passed his mind. Jade pearched contently on his red gauntlet, seeming to gaze at the vast waters before them both. And so, there sat Marrick, along with Jade, staring at the ocean, completely ignorant to the winds of fate that were to change their lives forever... = = = = = OOC: Not sure if this is what you wanted. So, at the end I'm just plugging someone, anyone really. First come, have fun!
