Iris sighed deeply as the autumn breeze flitted past her white robes, picking leaves off the ground as it went. Solace was beautiful at this time of the year, almost as beautiful as her homeland of Qualinesti. The vallenwood trees were in vibrant shades of gold and red, which seemed to magnify the setting sun, which was a soft shade of pink. How long had it been since she had last been here? Five years? It seemed about right, but Iris wasn't certain. To elves, the passing of a year is nothing more than the passing of a season, or maybe a thunderstorm even. She located the Inn of the Last Home perched in one of the largest vallenwoods in all of Abanasinia. She climbed the stairs gracefully, the hem of her robes brushing against her ankles. She opened the door and was welcomed immediately by warmth, smells of cooking fires, and Otik's beaming face. Otik: "Iris! I haven't seen you in a while! What would you like to drink?" Iris: "Just a bit of wine, thanks." Otik: "Sure thing." He disappeared behind the counter and reappeared a few seconds later with a glass of wine. "Oh! I almost forgot. One of your friends has already arrived. He's sitting over there." Iris thanked him politely and walked over to sit beside Guerrand. Iris: "Nice to see you after all of these years, Guerrand. How are you?"

They've already made several volumes of Zelda doujinshi and manga. It sticks to the plot alot, but it also has a few other side things (ie new characters with very minor roles, ect.) and goes into a little more depth. CLICK HERE if you want to check it out. ;) When you get to the main page, click on the drop-list near the top and click on manga, then choose the one you want to read. I think there's some other manga scattered in other categories though. ;)

The most awful taste ever! (sensitive people watch out!)

Lysaii watched Icarium leave then went right back to her book, reading for another half hour or so. True, it was a good book, but its history was altered a little from what really happened. It was often amusing to see from the eyes of a Middling. Coming to the end of the chapter, so placed her bookmark carefully in its place, put the book in her large black purse, and walked out the door. It was a wonderful day outside. A soft breeze brushed past her navy-blue skirt and the warm sunlight glinted off her strange golden eyes. She looked around at all the Middlings, walking up and down the streets with their every-day lives. They seemed so happy, as if none of them even remembered what had happened all those years ago....She still remembered, though. To an angel, 2000 years is like the passing of a season. Her mood turned sour all of a sudden. She decided that she had spent enough time among the Middlings for now. Besides, her shoulder blades started to ache, her wings begging to emerge. She walked to the back of the cafe and changed back into her true form of an angel. She stretched her cramped wings, trying to bring the circulation back in them. When she was ready she took to the the air and flew back to the Court of Angels just in time to hear the terrible news.
Originally posted by Queen Asuka If you guys had so many problems with Steven, why didn't you just let Mr. Lundin know? I'm pretty sure that Mr. Johnson was aware of the whole situation and was probably sympathetic. To hear that Steven never played during the show really irritates me. I feel that there were probably a lot of sorry members in the band like that. The fact that Josh was gone and he actually loved it with ALL HIS HEART and was REALLY GOOD AT IT made me so sad. And it makes me so sad to think about it now...:( Hopefully you wont have to suffer so much next year. ^_^
Oh, Mr. Johnson and Mr. Lundin knew that Steven was giving her a hard time (Mr. Johnson got so fed up with Steven at one point that he started SHOUTING at him! Can you even imagine Mr. Johnson shouting?! O.O). I think the only thing that saved him was the plain fact that we were short on players at the time. I didn't bother to tell Mr. Lundin about how he hadn't been playing, since it was the last game and all, but he had better shape up before band camp starts in the summer.

Geez, Gavin! If that's a crappy bird, then my birds look like cheap and crappy cartoon pigeons! o0; The only thing that looks a bit odd is the wings, but even then it isn't that noticeable. Ah, I love it Gavers! Maybe in a few years when you publish it (and if I improve with my painting skills) I can do the coverart for you. ;)

And suddenly I have another favorite form of writing.... I love it, PT! ^^ This is the first stream of consciousness that I can recall reading (or if I did read one in the past it didn't sound anything like what you have written). As for the "you" part of the story, I actually like it. Whenever I write in my diary or talk to myself, it feels like I am talking to someone other than myself, so in a way it fits. If the "you"s weren't in there it might seem awkward or impersonal. Heh. I love the little two-bits that you added here and there, like the Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, Moses, and Spider Man. One subject jumps randomly to the next, but it all has some relevance to the previous topic, and the story follows the same lines as one's thoughts.
Originally posted by amibasuki even if I wasn't, the next person up for it would be the guy who gave me the most hell out of everybody. there is absolutely NO WAY I'm gonna be ordered around by that incompetent what-have-you.
The day that Steven P. becomes section leader of the drumline is the day when a cataclysm destroys the world. Mr. Lundin would have to be completely insane to do that, and you're forgetting that there's still Peggy and Brooks. Pray that they are still eligible and willing to be on the drumline next year! >>; This was my first year on the drumline, and I played quints (well, I started on snare, moved to cymbals, then to quints) for the last part of the season. Band camp was murder. I was on snare at the time, and I had no idea what pain was until I was given the quints about two months later. x.X; Eh. I got along with basically everyone on the drumline except for the previously mentioned.....person. Yeah, he was a jerk. After our first section leader left he was put on snare, and that certainly fed his ego. He acted like he was all that and a soda, and since Amibasuki was the same age as him and on the snare also, he therefore concluded that he was as good as her and always challenged her at every opportunity. Heh. All he did was make himself look even more stupid, especially when he tried to show off for everyone else. Once when we were eating lunch, he came over and sat down at the table, pulled out some drumsticks, and said "Listen to this!" He then tried doing a drumroll, but that sure was the sorriest drumroll I ever heard. It sounded like a horse galloping! What really made him look bad was the final game of the season. Amibasuki was at a drama competition, so he had to play the snare for the half-time show. After we warmed up and ran through our opening song though, he said "Wow! That's the first time I ever played that without her!" I was a bit confused as to what he meant, so he kept talking. "Normally I just play the first four measures, the drumbreak, and the last four beats and let Ste do the rest, but I played it all just then!" I was too choked to say anything until after the game. So, yeah. He's been nothing but a pompous shadow riding on Amibasuki's playing skills. Grrrrrr...... All in all, I [strike]hope that Steven is kicked off the drumline[/strike] can't wait for next year. :) *cough*
Originally posted by Globyus Stryke Just FYI there were four of those books... Dragons of an Autumn Twilight, Dragons of a Winter Night, Dragons of a Spring Dawning, and Dragons of a Summer Flame.... It takes place a good twenty or so years after the War of the Lance, which is what DoAT, DoWN, and DoSD focuses on. Therefore, DoSF is not part of the Dragonlance Choronicles.

Gah! I have to go. MUST TYPE QUICKLY!!! Name: Vinlysaii (goes by Lysaii) Appearance: Something like the attachment, only with golden hair instead of white Personality: Lysaii had always been a tomboy....that is, before the War. She loved the idea of all the action, fighting, and suspense, but she soon found what it was really like to fight. She learned to kill, and she learned the true meaning of "war." A significant change came upon her after the Eye was destroyed. She is now very quiet and kind, and she tries to uphold the peace that she once thought was boring and monotonous. She is always willing to help her friends and try to act optimistic. Some of the former Arch Angels think of her as a "sissy."

It's a very good banner, but I'm afraid it's too big. The maximum size dimensions are 500 x 100. Your banner is 410 x 160. Maybe you could shorten it so it wouldn't be so tall. Overall it's a great banner. Welcome to OB. ;)

I'm DEFINATELY in this! ^^ Name: Liiris (Iris) Age: 74 Gender: female Race: Qualinesti Elf Class: Mage, Order of the White Robes Weapons: the Staff of Trellian, a hidden dagger, and some small throwing knives Spells: think of the spells that Raistlin has Bio: Iris had always been facinated with magic. As a child, her favorite place was in the library, shifting through old scrolls, books, and old artifacts trying to learn more about the Art, which is why the librarian always told her that she was as bad as a kender and just as curious as one to boot. After years of begging and pleading, her parents finally agreed to let her go to the Tower of High Sorcery in the Forest of Wayreth. It was here that she put on the White Robes of a mage of Solinari. She's been attending the school for about ten years now, and as every day passes, the thoughts of the Test became more prominent in her thoughts. Still young by elven standards, her master Par-Salion (sp?) won't let her take it just yet, but soon, perhaps in the next year or so, her time will come....She spends her spare preparing herself and memorizing all the spells she can. Appearence: Dark brown hair, pale skin, emerald green eyes, silk white robes with wide sleeves, ankle-high leather boots Alignment: good
Originally posted by NorykoAngelcry I am very interested in this collection. This is one wicked awesome looking disc. I bought the GAMECUBE when it first came out, so I was saddened to learn that that way is out for me. However (I am not sure what countries have access to this way), Nintendo Power - an exclusive Nintendo magazine - is offering the disk with a 1-year paid subscription. That is right up my alley for money and interest. I have not collected those in some time, and to get that disk, a 1-year subscription isn't bad at all. . for everything you are getting in that disk. . *drools* Too nice!
Absolutely. It's definately worth the $20. I sent my order out to Nintendo Power about three weeks ago, so I should get it pretty soon. :)

I would love to become a writer, and then an artist on the side. That way, once I finish a book, I can do the coverart and character art. ^__^ As for colleges, I'm not certain. Pennsylvania has some good art schools, and I'm seriously considering Pennsylvania College of Art and Design, but it's still pretty far away and I would still have to find a way to get home when vacation comes around. But I have plenty of time (well, maybe not as much as I think) to think about it since I'm only a freshman. :)
