HI!!!! I'm from middle Tennessee and recently I went to the Middle Tennessee Anime Convention(MTAC). It was a blast even though I did not have enough time to prepare and cosplay :bawl: Oh well. :animesigh Any way I would love to here about other peoples anime convention experiences so that I might be able to find another good one to go to close to me. Two of my personal heroes would have to be some buddies of mine named Russel and Tabb. He and his now wife got pregnant at a very young age and despite his fathers wishes he married his now wife and together they began to support one another and work thier way through school. They now have four wonderful kids and are married happily. They are some of my personal heroes because they have broken through the majority of people that do not take responsibility and did what was right. No two people do I know are as good of persons as they are. :D

:catgirl: Riddle me this! If you could for any reason what so ever become an anime character who would you be and why. Now don't look toward just who is the coolest or who is the most powerful or who is the hottest. Some of the animes that you have listed have help to innovate and define the art form of anime. To disregard them is a crime and I believe you should apologize for it. :catgirl:

My favorite everything: Music-Maroon 5, Prince, Lamb of God, Green Day, a little of everything Movie-The Last Samurai, Finding NeverLand, and Purple Rain Anime(Old School)-The original Robotech series Anime(New School)-Mythical Detective Loki Ragnarok, The Getbackers, and Gankutsuou Anime Movie-The 3rd Inuyasha movie, Voices of a Distant Star, Princes Monanoke Theses are just a few of my favorite things that are on the top of my head if you would like to know more or have any questions you can send me a message. :animesmil :animesmil :animesmil :animesmil :animesmil

:animeangr I would have to say that one of a few animes that I wish I never saw would have to have been the Betterman series from way back when. It was in my transition into being an Otaku so any anime that I could find on television I would dedicate myself to it and watch it religiously. Unfortunately the series had a bad plot and a horrible ending so for the almost one year of my life that I spent watching it on television. I want it back but I know Ill never get it back :crying:

This is a reply to Darktigerpack17's forum in the hopes that we will all gain a better understanding of the origins of anime and some of its beginings. I believe that one of the first animes out there was Speed Racer which was created back in the 50s if I can remember correctley. Also close to that if not just before was the series known as Gigantor which was farely popular too even though by thier looks they do not look like the traditional form of anime that we have all come to love to this day they are still a few of the front runners I believe. Hope that this helps in some little way or another if not sorry :D
