"Life... is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless, perfunctory gift that nobody ever asks for. Unreturnable, because all you get back is another box of chocolates. You're stuck with this undefinable whipped-mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down when there's nothing else left to eat. Sure, once in a while, there's a peanut butter cup, or an English toffee. But they're gone too fast, the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits, filled with hardened jelly and teeth-shattering nuts, and if you're desperate enough to eat those, all you've got left is a... is an empty box... filled with useless, brown paper wrappers."- anonymous i think.... "Reality isn't so kind. Everything doesn't work out the way you want it to. That's why... As long as you don?t get your hopes up, you can take anything... You feel less pain. -Squall Leonhart(FFVIII) "Did you think to kill me? There's no flesh or blood within this cloak to kill. There's only an idea. Ideas are bullet-proof."-V(V for vendetta) "Kids, you tried your best and you failed miserably. The lesson is, never try." -Homer Simpson awesome memorable quotes....i have a bunch but i wanted to share some of my faves.

confidence yeah it's a pretty big factor...to boost your confidence always think that you have nothing to lose when you feel like doing it, DO IT! like talking to new people, you won't lose anything you either gain a friend or experience, try it and trust me it works. as for conversation starters, just start off with something simple like "killer weather huh?"...or something similar keep it simple and not off the bat, too personal...it works for me alot. shyness is something we all have, don't forget that...step up and you'll be surprised with the results you get... hope that helps...

i always thought that crime is a necessary evil... look at it, without crime...we wouldn't have cops...no matter how obnoxious some are they are in FACT making a living... it's the same with poverty...some people go to extreme lengths just to feed their family...so yeah...it is acceptable

haha to be honest man, you don't need to go online for girl advice. just let it come naturally :animesmil you know that it's love when you just be yourself and the girl likes you, don't change who you are because of her, that's not love that's uhmm obsession. it's the first step that's always the hardest man, and that step is...walking up to the girl haha! after that just talk to her casually, talk about books, music, life the usual topics, no "ASL?" crap here haha... after sometime,(give it a week but honestly the longer the better ) of getting to know her,let her know how you feel, who knows right? she might be feeling the same way. lastly, don't miss any oppurtunities make your move. don't wait too long either another guy might cut into the action... believe me after the hard part, all the romantic stuff for dates, etc. kicks in naturally goodluck man and godspeed....*haha i can be a date doctor.......or not*

all i can say is that don't trust so easily, three weeks is practically nothing, a relationship is always tested for about a year after that you can start trusting the person completely...the first year is always crucial in a long-term relationship... i myself had just gone through a break-up about 3 weeks ago, i went out with her for about 2 years, i started to make plans for the furture and stuff....i really loved her, but things got really complicated and we had to break-up, same as sojiro we didnt want to do it but had to, it comes to show that when you love someone i guess you just have to let go...i still get in touch with her, we're still very close...i still love her too.

my uncle died last march, it took me pretty hard...he was like a dad at times, and he was an awesome tour guide took me to lots of places and hangouts. i'm over it now and i know he's watching down on me and stuff, i just regret not telling him how great he was and how i love him, his death was so sudden it was totally unexpected, since he died by massive heart attack....
If you were adopted, would you rather: a) Find out, but not find your true parents. or b) Find your true parents
find my true parents, as a child i have the right to know the truth... would you rather have a frail body with unsurpassed knowledge? or have an athletic/strong body with little knowledge?

street fighter, actually the king of fighters was derived from street fighter itself, seeing how similar Ryo Sakazaki was to both Ryu and Ken in appearance and in fighting style, capcom decided to make Dan a parody of both of them :catgirl: just an FYI. since the guys at SNK were too lazy to come up with their own characters Street Fighter wins! haha
I resent that! We can like sex! Just not so much with other people.
That actually freaked me out.... My answer to the question, of course is a yes! In our world today everything can relate to sex, even our beloved world of anime, you all know about hentai and the not so direct perversion of ecchi...blah blah blah... Plus we have to remember that we live in an age where media is king, it controls everything!almost every commercial out there has a phallic symbol embedded on it somewhere maybe it's sybliminal, maybe not, that fact of the matter is sex has always been a big influence on our culture, that's why AIDS is such a threat to us, how many times do we have to remind single people to have safe sex!? Every year! When i was in vegas earlier this year, i walked the strip and right by treasure island and somewhere near circus circus(two of the known kid themed hotels) i see porn ads cluttered all over the sidewalk, and kids pass by there every day!... I guess, we aren't really human beings without sex...

i regret most in life is... not showing the girl i loved the love she deserved, i regret hurting her (never physically) in so many ways, i was so stupid and so blind, i had no idea that i was doing harm... my ignorance was the cause of my fall, and the pain hasn't stopped since... (dont worry it only happened recently) :animecry:
Would you rather be able to hear the thoughts of others around you so you can take advantage of the fact since you are the only one? (oh the opportunities!) Or Would you rather make it where everyone can hear everyone else, and create chaos through out the world when all the dirty truths become public? (what fun it would be to watch people like President Bush squirm!)
hmm, the 2nd one since the world is already messed up...i'd be obliged to use my power for good...if i was the only one, im that noble haha... ok ok my 2nd question, would you rather get your thumbs sawn off (we know how important they are) or lose an eye....
Now that that's settled would you rather have an emberassing drunken dance video of you that your 'best friend' shot of you posted on Youtube for everyone to see or Would you rather have an emberassing moment that your friend recorded shown on America's Funniest Home Videos and aired everywhere? Life's full of tough choices isn't it?
youtube hands down!! i'd rather be immortalized that way than have a potential to win a couple thousand bucks...in that case i win! haha ok ok my turn! would you rather watch a whole day marathon of barney and friends... or live in teletubbyland for 2 months?

love is such an enigma, its tough to know exactly what to do. i myself had just gone through a break-up, it really hurt me inside and i took it pretty hard. i based all of my actions through my emotions, i never really thought everything through. when a person's in love based on my experience you start giving your all especially when that love feels legit. you give too much and don't leave room for yourself it's gonna hurt you alot in the end... all i can say now is, never love too much....too much of a good thing is always bad...

Otakupedia Entries/Suggestions/Discussion thread
nomad19 replied to Charles's topic in General Discussion
that's a great idea, but the part of it actually being a massive user edit program seems like a big hassle... theotaku franchise seems like a big enough franchise, right?...why wont make an entire site for that alone? i like the idea and all but a public account doesnt seem right... hmm sorry i only read about 2 pages then posted my thoughts...my bad if this has already been suggessted -
started when i was 11 i took up Tae-Kwon-Do for a 3 years i got up to the high-red belt(a promo away from black) they said that i was a really promising student, competing in regional tournaments both fights and formations, god i love performing the jumping turning long kick! hehe i got up to a silver medal in two tourneys and 1 gold both junior divisions... the lack of time made me quit i can't take up martial arts and play football at the same time. now that i've got time again i'm taking up Aikido i'm already ranked as 1st kyu brown belt and a rank away from being a 1st dan black belt. i don't know how Tae-Kwon-Do could help me with Aikido now since not much kicks are involved and more bone-breaking and throwing, it's pretty intense!! and i have to go up against 10 black belts at once to rise up to black :animedepr

daycares are there for a reason, to let kids annoy other people for a change...no really they are. no experience with daycares, daycamps whatsoever but i do take my cousin there on occassion... well it's a social gathering for small kids, it's a step up forward from being a baby to being a kid... that's a plus really, and also it's like setting a puppy free inside a play-place, it's a place where a kid could be a kid... well one rule should be enforced never bring guns to school (stop them now before it's too late)

you just won a bigmac! hehe the closest thing i ever won :animesmil well i've always thought that those promos were scans or spyware installers, it's just not believable. giving away those systems for measly referrals it's mind-boggling. if they were acutally legit, they might be defective or something...it's just too good to be true...

Real Name: Reian Yotsuga Age: 18 Delta Name: Binshou Delta Age: 18 Team Name: Alpha Delta Beta Class: Warrior Player Rank:N/A Weapon: Tri-Nunchaku A Tri-Nunchaku is an odd weapon, it has three brass bars joined by a chain. This weapon is capable of unleashing devastating combos in an instant. sub weapon: The tri-nunchaku can lock the three bars together forming a staff. This lacks the technicality of the tri-nunchaku but is good for mid-range foes. Personality: Like Reian, Binshou is this cocky young-blood, he doesn't like following his superiors. He often slacks off when his teammates are working. He's basically always on the go, pumped up and ready for battle. He's name Binshou for a reason, on the battlefield he's quite agile, he doesn't have brute strength but his agility and fighting skills make up for it. Hates working and loves training, instead of looking for leads, you can find him somewhere sharpening his skills. Abilities/Magic: Swift Strike - the ability of Binshou to strike the opponent's 6 vital points in 1 second flat. A powerful blow which can leave an opponent uncouncious. ahh!! siblings, it pays to be the eldest, really it does! my mom keeps bugging me to fix my little bro's computer, and so oftentimes I did, after a while it started getting repetitive. I'm like "what the!? how can your computer be infected weekly!?" it's loaded with spyware and viruses... a typical 12 year-old response brother:"that fart button ad, i pushed it" me: :" why? i told you never to click on the pop-up ads" brother: "you know you want to!, it dared me and i pushed it" me: "what the!?" :animeangr it doesn't stop there....
