I just wanna ask this simple question on how you deal with your games. Do you TRADE? or COLLECT? I was just wondering really, these guys at the IGN forums boast their "game collection" but other people simply just trade old games for new ones... I myself collect them, ever since i got my ps2 and xbox I haven't traded a single game, i just give my older consoles to my lil cousins as hand me downs...i have around 80 ps2 games on my shelves, and 5 xbox games....and yes with that number I even have some cappy ones such as Bloody Roar 4 :animeangr edit: actually I got BR4 for free when i bought two games it was MGS3:subsistence and KH2 at the time...

Gaming EXTRA! PS3 Games Prices May SURPASS $59.99! Read all about it!
nomad19 replied to Tatsubei Yagyu's topic in Noosphere
that's not surprising, gaming's getting pretty expensive with every new console launch, from $10 bucks to $30, $40, $50... there was speculation around the same time of the unveiling of the ps3 that games might even cost $70...bigger budgets mean bigger bucks... I'm still getting a ps3 no matter what though hehe....now what to do with my ps2 game library? -
a controller....ever since i was small i really loved playing video games, i am an average gamer don't get me wrong i go out alot too but gaming's part of my life and is a part of who i am...without it i dunno what'll happen :animecry:

that's a little too deep to think about. life isn't an endless struggle nor a meaningless search, it's what you make of it, if it's for baseball make it for baseball, if it's for love make it for love... love on the other hand is something quite different, it is something you work for, if you love someone you show your affection, if you don't have someone you wait...love is something you simply cannot rush. true love is also something you really can't assume to happen, it takes effort ALOT of effort really, and eventually it may hurt but in time everything will pay off... there's happiness after every sorrow and sorrow after every happiness...

let's say that communism is based on the utopian blueprint right? everyone equal and equal power,it's just as impossible i guess i agree with The13thMan, it just wasn't a good idea. I mean there are hardworkers and as I learned reading Faust, no human will ever be content with what they have. there will always be a hardworker and one guy having more income than the next. Intellectually no one will give in to that kind of system face it every kind of government system has it's own flaw, democracy, artistocratic, parliament , you name it. maybe when we finally reach that whole "globalization" thing everyone wants to achieve the time when the earth itself is a nation, maybe...maybe it's possible. then again God was right in the long run, we got too smart if Eve didn't eat that forbidden fruit, yeah we might not have technology but we may be living in that perfect Utopian society...

Utopia is the ideal perfect place, socially, morally and politically. I admit it is a fictional island created by Sir Thomas More but the mere thought of a utopian society can end all the negative outlook we have about the world. Think of it, a world without racial discrimination, poverty, war, etc. I wonder, is there still a slight possiblity that we could reach that kind of perfection?

yeah great movie, alot of plot twists too, highly recommendable. This resemblence of Brandon Routh and Christopher Reeve is bind boggling. really it is...

my visage of the world? an angry bald guy with green spots and blue skin :animestun
I won't give an example... because all I can see to help is the eradication of all existance.
it doesn't necessarily have to be the eradication of all life, that's too brutal in my opinion (well it is too brutal) i believe that discipline is the answer, it can make young men and women go to war without a second thought right? So it can surely make a difference in the world. Besides alot of countries have disciplinary issues, maybe martial law is a solution :animedepr

Anime What anime character resembles you most?
nomad19 replied to PaganAngel's topic in Otaku Central
I'm saying Chrno from Chrno Crusade, he's that optimistic kind guy when you get him mad HE GETS MAD!!! and
turns into his demon form
. I'm like that actually I have a temper, like when I see you hurting my friend or brother I come running to lay the smackdown. Just like Chrno... well i am a nice guy all around, jsut don't get me mad :animeangr :D -
take her out for a movie or dinner, and end it with a long walk home. or simply just hang out at the mall, whichever is fine. it depends how well you know your date really, it can even end at your place watching anime hehe...

It's a sick sad world we all live in heero, alot of men are actually like that, you know "womanizers" (I have no idea if that's politically correct), It's a shame how low some people are, and to think that quite a number of them are educated. It's typically the media generation, and they look at "hip hop" all wrong, it's not about the money, nor the girls, it's all about the music. It's sad to think that even the artists have lost what it's all about, just look at the hip hop a decade ago. My parents raised me right, i respect all women I would never treat someone like that.

Similar experience but different Forum, this gal under the name "darkened_girl" was practically the first person I met on that Forum the "us.playstation.com forum" I was on for quite a while and we stopped PMing each other around 2 years ago, and about 3 months after that I was online, chatting in a room this girl IMed me slightly with a slightly familiar name "reisha_darkenedgirl" and after some time it ended up that she remembers me and i had no idea it was her, now i left that forum and came here we communicate through IM now, it's nice when you stick to one name all the time hehe

I got this idea when I was talking with my brother about the SNES, we were talking about street fighter and how i was desperate to make one hadoken fireball! Good times those were everyone must have a favorite moment when playing a game right? Here's mine, it was when my brother and I finally finished Double Dragon II, that was a hard game for an 8 and 6 year old, that was too much! But it felt great knowing that we did it!! and without the help of game genie :D

Chrno and Rosette - from chrno crusade; an odd couple, a demon and a nun hehe. one wreckless and the other pretty careful
too bad they both died in the end of chrno crusade
Keichi and Belldandy - can't leave these two out hehe, the story is so kawaii!!! and plus it sure is great to have a goddess for a girlfriend! hehe ooh the anime is Ah! My Goddess FYI hehe Kira Yamato and Lacus Clyne - the ever lovable Gundam Seed couple, i like how mysterious these two are, both have similar personalities i can say that these two are the perfect couple :animesmil

"you have the power to make a difference, so why don't you put it to good use?" a quote from Mwu La Fllaga (gundam seed) great quote, from one of gundam's greatest characters( at least that's what i think) so i try to do things as long as i can....

my one and only username on the boards nomad19- i'm what a nomad really is... a wanderer it's hard to say that im really a reg and i am mostly off and on these boards. no one really knows who i am plus i post practically anywhere...but when i do post i state my opinion and just be myself...it's my one and only persona....genuine ol' me

it's a fairly new anime still unlicensed it's soul link- a bunch of cadets from the military are training in a space station like space colony when space pirates start attacking them threatening to blow the thing up and have it set for a collision course to earth. so the citizens evacuated so did most of the cadets except for 4 cadets and 2 civillians. so basically that's the synopsis and Ah! My Goddess season 2- continuation of belldandy and keichi's relationship :D

i like the first mario rpg...hours load of extras....i like playing jet force gemini for the n64....good game and i actually still play harvest moon 64 on some occassions..... old games still are time killers....we actually love all the beeps and pixelated graphics...now we're just too picky hehe
-
the suikoden series are pretty long, suikoden 2 made me spend 60 hours...there's a bonus in story when you finish the game in 42... i thought 3 and 4 were pretty mediocre... so suikoden 5 is the next best thing!!!! so yeah 5 would make you spend tons of hours with the extra features and the minigames plus in order to collect all 108 stars you would really need to have lots'o time on your hands!
