Heh ^_^ I just chose it because, I did. No particular reason, I suppose you might think of me as a Local Hobo, I don't know why...

Fact: Alcohol = Depresant (No matter how fun it is when your at a party..) I'm sure there's more than one male in your world. We're young, you're young, there's alot more to come. He dumped you, so try to think; "Meh..^_^ nothing THAT sepecial" Yt'know? But I've been told girls think differently when it comes to things like this.
I understand that brushing takes a certain degree of skill, don't get me wrong here. But I don't really buy it that using pre-made brushes takes skill. All you really do is brush a few layers, then color balance the whole thing and toss on a stock and some typography. In general, it's a good signature, but I'm not fond of the words overlapping the stock's head.
Hee. I don't use colour layers, maybe a little to enhance the final, but not for brushing, I prefer using colours in my brushing. And I don't just toss a stock in, I balance the colours on that to go with the overall colour scheme, and blend it into the Bg, using a couple layers of blurring and changes of layer styles. You make it sound so....skilless. But thanks for the critique. :D
Interesting, most interesting. No offence man, but what's wrong with you ? You have the right to give your opinion and say you don't particularly care about renayiiq's problem, you don't have the right to call her stupid or say that we shouldn't care. One of the privileges of OB is someone's right to post their thoughts, their problems and ask advice from people on how to get by, on how to get help, so it's pretty damn obvious that there are those who us who do care.
Heh hahaha. You took my words the wrong way. More like, "Why should you care" as In who cares. Not like I don't care, but why do you care? If you get me. Hmm the best way to say is. I didn't mean it in the way of "I don't care." Hope that clears things up ^_^. Anyway, suppose the worst thing you can do is shut yourself away from outside. Theres alot of things which make you feel worse when you just sit indoors and dwell on your problems. Tthey seem to get more and more worse that way.
Anyone ever heard of a game for the PS2 called REZ? I really don't get it's attraction. I watched someone play it for hours yesterday. It's a little wire figurine floating though wire construction space with colors and techno. I've come to the conclusion that it's a stoner game. What do you think? http://archive.gamespy.com/reviews/january02/rezps2/
Shoot shoot shoot, I remeber this game!!! I played it on the Dreamcast. You float through this wire-frame world and when you shoot targets a tune goes with the rythm of the level soundtrack, if you get me. This game is pretty good. I want to play it again.
Why do people feel the need to pick at me and pick at me? I mean, I know I'm supposed to ignore it, but it's not so easy to ignore. I feel as if I'm nothing now. I have no confidence left, I'm chainsmoking, and I wish that someone from 3 years ago would have killed me. I feel like becoming a recluse and just leaving people behind. I'm sick of the insults, sick of hating myself for what everyone says. I feel like a whore, as well, for something that happened 3 years ago...because I know it was my fault. I hate this. What makes me so easy to tear to bits?
I'll probably get flamed at for this. Your just being stupid. Who cares? Why the hell should they care? Do you really care what they think? Huh? Well do you?! Don't ignore it. But don't take it too harsh either. Chain smoke if you want to chain smoke. (try to give up smoking though). And do that thing which you did 3 years ago if you want to. I don't think it's hurting anyone. Is it? Just relax. Be laid back. Be nice to someone else. Feel good. Watch a couple episodes of anime. Read a couple manga stories. People who say things like that seem to be too concerned with your life than their own. Fools.

Heh ^_^ Some of my own and some premade. Don't get me wrong here, when using brushing like I do it's not which brushes, but how you use them. I have about 5-6 layers of brushing on this one, and I could send you the PSD if you want so you can see how it's done. But I agree with you and I try to use my own brushes as much as possible.

I don't think nintendo will screw up. When compared to the PS3 and the X-Box360 it doesn't look to good, but Nintendo isn't going for pure horsepower on their new release, they're going for gameplay. You have to remeber they're not targeting a new market, they're appealing to current gamers who can remember playing Mario on the Nes and thing like that. PLus they have a pretty cheap launch price at about £80 ($150) or less. They said £60 ($100) wouldn't be out of the qeustion. I think the new gen consoles are too far apart to be considered the same generation, Sony are releasing theirs around Christmas 2007 and they have the advantage over the XBox when it comes to the actual console itself. They've seen what kind of mistakes Microsoft have made by rushing the console development, releasing for the Chirstmas season this year, it's got alot of glitches which are prettys serious and should have been sorted before the product release. If anything I'm looking forward to the Nintendo Revolution and possibly the PS3 release. The Xbox release took me by suprise, but that's as far as it goes for me. I'm not interested in buying one.

Hmm well I thought I'd start this off because I've realised how big my DVD collection is getting recently, and I thought I'd tell some of you what kind of films I like, and I'd like to hear what you guys like too. I recently bought a film called "Versus" which is pop Yakuza violence with sword/gunplay, which is pretty cool. Then I saw a reccomendation for another film by the same director called "Azumi", which is pop Samurai violence with swordplay. Storyline isn't very deep but they action in the film makes up for it. I'm also liking some Takeshi Kitano films, like "Brother", and "Sonatine". Sonatine was made 7 years before Brother, but still holds the Kitano flare, with a good few comedy punches involved throut the films. They Yakuza based plots, but I like 'em because you get to know the characters in both films, and the plots are pretty good even though you don't really need a high intelligence level to understand them. I watched "Battle Royale" recently for the first time in a couple of years and that's renewed my passion for it, because it has one of those strong storylines you like to get addicted to. I'm tempted to watch the sequel "Battle Royale II: Requiem" but I've heard that it's no-where near as good as first one, that it's not even good at all. :( Shame, it would have been good to have worthy a sequel. I also saw a trailer for a Korean film called "Old Boy". It looked good, so I bought the DVD. Now this film is pretty cool if your into your revenge based violence kind of thing, but I also like the depth and complexity of the story line which leaves you thinking about what and why things happened long after the film has finished. Now you've heard my say, what about you?

The Prodigy - Pioneers, or just another face in the crowd?
Satoru replied to silpheedpilot's topic in Noosphere
I went to see them the other week. I'm sure about 85% of the people there just shaved their heads for the prodigy. It was really sweeet, it was all wah wah and doo dooo. Ahhh I was really tired the nest day. I think their music had a unique way of approaching things when they first popped inot the scene, with a pretty in your face kind of tune, and alot of people paid attention to them because Kieth looks crazy. I agree with you on this one, they go into the section of pioneers of the electronic music industry, and they've made foot holds in all the sub-catogeries of electronic (drum n bass etc.). -
Yeah he looks alot different after his hair-cut and puttin contacts in. It's really funny when he put's his contacts in too. It would really be worth it to buy the DVD special order. I think you can get the Thai version of the DVD somehwere but I don't think it has English subtitles.

Anyone else heard of it? It's a Japanese film, don't know if it will be released in the US though. It's about an otaku guy who manages to fall in love :luv: with a girl on the train, and then he asks his friends on the net to give him love advice and he tells them his progress, as they become friends and he asks his net friends how he should confess his love to the girl. The film is based on a TV show, which was aired on Jpanaese TV, (The shows was more in depth) and the TV series was based on some books published which were based on/revolved around actual internet postings the 2Channel board (Japanese). Wether these postings are a hoax or not is unkown, but I like to think they're true. :freak: The film is pretty good, romantic comedy. I like the punches for the jokes they're pretty funny :animesmil :rotflmao:

Ok. I dunno how it goes in the states, but in England it goes a little something like this. Im a guy, so this from my perspective. A girl likes you, you don't know her, but you notice that she smiles at you in the corridor when you pass each other. (I'm thinkin at school here) "Hmm, she seems nice" A smile turns into a hello, "What's her name again?" A Hello turns into a stop-and-have-a-quick-convo kind of thing because you wonder who she is. "Im Satoru" etc. "Catch you later" And so forth. You get me? things don't always turn out text book, infact, they hardly ever do. So don't worry if stuff doesn't go to "Plan" because they always turn out differently. *edit Oh yeah and just to add, Don't go asking his friends about him. It might freak him out.

North of England, I was born in the south, lived in the US, Moved ot the North of England, and that's pretty much where I've lived for most of my life.

MF Doom (& Danger Doom) Guru (Gangstarr) Wu-Tang Klashnekoff (sp?) Atmosphere Just to name a few underground hip-hop artists. Back on topic, I don't get much of a crunk scene down here in England, it's mostly lil'John's "Yeyaah!" in the background of someones tune. I think that Crunk is the best form of Hiphop in a way, it's like feel-good music. huh?

Ghost in the Shell was a manga, then a Movie, then a game, then an anime series, then another movie. :)

I think making one short film, (about an hour or so) about Spike's days in the syndacate and his partnership with Vicous would be cool. Making another feature length or season would spoil the Series altogether, it wouldn't feel the same. I bought the DVD's and tried watching them in English (American) but I hated it. I don't think the American voices mathc the characters at all, listen to a line from one character in the original voice, then in the American voice. It doesn't give that extra thing to alot of Spike's laid-back attitude.

Kirika, you're right with this one. But it sounds like renayiiq likes them both. "OOOO!!" Anyway, theres nothing wrong with that, don't be all emo about this, really, there's no need. All you can do is gel on with your current guy, because you've already been with whatshisname so there's not really any loss. You guys said the distance thing woulnd't work? Why worry about it, old flames get stronger at some times, and at others they almost go out, but what pretty much matters is now. Get me? If not I'll try explain a bit more.

Hmm... At the end of the first film it didn't really leave it open for a good sequal, but it doesn't look too bad anyway.
