Crimson River

There are so many pretty songs I like, but most people don't know very many of the different band's songs. I would have to say certain songs by Modest Mouse are definitely worthy of the title pretty [e.g. The World At Large, Float On, Ocean Breathes Salty, Interlude (Milo), One Chance, and The Good Times Are Killing Me]. Anything by Badly Drawn Boy is just so pretty, it's so hard to turn it off. And finally, the band I think deserves the most praise right now with their new album, is Okkervil River. If you don't know this band, or own the album Black Sheep Boy, get it now! The music is hauntingly pretty, the lyrics are amazingly sad and filled with emotion, it's almost hard not to cry. Almost makes you wonder if the songs are based off of life experiences. And don't be surprised if you can, at the very least, partially feel like some of the songs are about your life. Right now, my favorite, if I had to choose just one, would be In A Radio Song. Here are the lyrics. I have found a better song that relates to me than what I previously posted. And that song is Sermon by Drowning Pool. I'm pretty sure they haven't been mentioned, and I'm not sure if they would be considered modern rock, but another group I like is Beck. Everyone should give their new CD a try. Beck is awesome for me, because I like when people try different kinds of music for each song they put on their CD. And Beck is the only one I know that really does that.

However, after watching the North American preview at the Toronto Film Festival, I was pleasantly surprised. Wow. I just watched the craziest but still really cool (in my opinion) zombie movie ever! Everyone who is reading this, you need to run to some place that rents or sells movies and look for one called Undead. There is a picture of someone with a gas mask on the front. Shouldn't be hard to miss. This movie has a good amount of humor, blood, gore, and zombie killing action. There is a certain part where it starts to suck for a while, but stick with it. The ending is worth it!:animesmil

Yea it is! I really get into all the ghost and killer kind of stuff too. I have some books on it. Also one of the reasons I'm so hooked on scary movies and stuff. Did you check out the link? Stuff like that used to happen to me all the time when I was younger. Not so much anymore. I used to see all kinds of weird things. Like the ceilings would drip blood only I could see, or random hands would just pop up from the sides of my bed. I would close my eyes for about 5 seconds and they would be gone. I heard all different kinds of voices which would just call me by my first name. Now, I very rarely hear an out of place noise, and that's about it. One of my friends tried the whole bloody mary 5 times chant. He got to about 3 when his TV came on from it's own accord and was nothing but static. He never finished the chant or tried it again. One of my other friends heard a story from one of her friends. Her friend was having a sleepover. When they had to go to bed, they went to turn off the glitter lamp in her room. But it wouldn't turn off. Her friends' mom even verified that it was in the off position, but still on. Later they heard footsteps walking around in the hall. They called out to see if it was the mom, but got no reply. The footsteps stopped outside their door...which is the exact time the glitter lamp finally turned off. It looks like you could probably relate to some Gorillaz songs too. I personally have been amazed at the new Okkervil River CD. Some of the songs on there remind me at least a little bit of my life. One is called So Come Back, I Am Waiting. A black sheep boy revolves over canyons and waterfalls. A black sheep boy dissolves in syringe or shower stall. I am surprisingly like orbindo. Except I'm newer. (Only been on like a month or so.) Same age too, 16. But I will be turning 17 on April 4, 2006. So not too much longer. I haven't even been a member for a month yet. I'm male, 16 (4 more months and I'm 17), about 5'9". I was adopted. I like all kinds of music, but I mostly listen to various forms of rock. My CD collection is too expansive to list here, as are my favorite bands. I like anything scary or creepy (books, movies, video games, etc.). I also like video games. I have a Gamecube, PS2, and an Xbox. Going to need to update those soon. My astrological sign is Aries and my Chinese Zodiac is the snake. Some dog breeds I like are Pomeranians, Shiba Inus, and Karelian Bear Dogs. One of my favorite horse breeds are Aztecas. Obviously, I like animals. I can be very random when I want to be. PEACHES! I'm one of the unfortunates who didn't discover Gorillaz until the Feel Good, Inc. music video came out. I rushed out immediately, purchased their CD, and have been addicted ever since. One of my favorite songs on Demon Days is O Green World.

Yea, I know about the movie Wolf Creek. I have very good sources for any movie you want that is out right now. I think this movie might be out. (My bad. I have the sources right, but the movie doesn't come out until December or January 25.) The plot outline is this: A chilling, factually-based story of three road-trippers in remote Australia who are plunged into danger when they accept help from a friendly local. The movie is based off of the infamous "Backpacker Murders" committed along the Hume Highway by Ivan Milat between 1989 and 1992. It's also based off of the Falconio case in the Northern Territory of Australia. What do people think of the video on the link I posted?

My idea of a perfect date is going to some kind of woodland area (like Ohio) and just exploring or hiking around, enjoying the scenery, looking at the animals. Maybe even find a waterfall and go diving into the water beneath it from some point near the top. And we could rent a cabin out in those woods by a body of water of some kind. I would be a saber-toothed tiger demon. I haven't seen anyone use this yet. I would wield a long cutlass laced with poison and fire. If I ever lost the cutlass in a fight somehow (like that would ever happen:rolleyes: ), then my fangs and claws would prove to be worthy weapons.
