thanks for answering my question.

I am going to delete my myotaku account, and I was wondering if all the fanart I submitted will be deleted with my account. So, will all of my artwork be deleted with my account? If anyone knows the answer, please let me know. Thank you.

Will it be acceptable if I post up a sketch of a drawing I'm working on, and then later on post up the drawing when I'm finished? So, in other words, I'll have two pics of the same drawing, except one of them is unfinished and the other is the finished version. Basically two different "stages" of the same drawing. Is that allowed? If anyone can answer that, it'd be great 'cause I've got a sketch in submission already and I'm planning to put up the final version when I'm done inking and everything. Thanks.
The title you're referring to is "Senior Artist" and is based on your submissions, not the length of time you have been a member. If there is a time-based "Senior Member" title, I've yet to see it and I've been at myO for quite a while.[/color']
Do you know how many submissions you have to submit before becoming one? What other priviledges do Senior Artists have? Thanks. :)

Panda wrote something about senior members. How do you become a senior member? Is it determined by how long you have been a member or how many fan art submissions you have submitted?

Do you think that when we log into our usernames, when we see the page full of thumbnails, there should be the number of comments people put in each pic under the thumbnail, number of hits (how many people looked at it also under the thumbnail), and the statistic of votes. Kind of like fanfiction.net, where it's a table of statistics. That way we don't have to search through all the pics to see which one got a new comment or got an extra vote. Please consider it. Thanks.

Anime hey, any yaoi fans in the house?
freeziepleasy replied to punk alchemist's topic in Otaku Central
Well, DMP published Ring Finger under their yaoi line. But if you're going to distinguish between yaoi and shounen-ai in the usual sense (that is, with shounen-ai being less explicit), then it would qualify as shounen-ai, as would Eerie Queerie. Interestingly, I've heard that in Japan, shounen-ai has come to mean something more like shota... Some people still insist on only using the term yaoi when referring to boys' love doujinshi. It varies. Among English-speaking fans, however, anyone who attempts to draw a distinction between shounen-ai and yaoi usually means to say that yaoi is sexually explicit, whereas shounen-ai is more tame. Part of what makes it confusing is that the major publishers take different approaches to the whole terminology issue. Tokyopop calls Gravitation & their other BL titles shounen-ai. DMP calls everything yaoi, and I'm pretty sure Be Beautiful does as well. Blu calls everything boys' love. ~Dagger~
i would think that eerie queerie is more sexually explicit than ring finger...but oh well. thanks for answering that. :) -
undefined[/FONT'] :p hey, just wonderin' if they're any yaoi fans around... if you're a yaoi hater, please don't write mean things on this thread...(i'm a sensitive girl...)
i like yaoi too, even though i'm straight...XD may i suggest "Only the Ring Finger Knows" (one volume only - short story) and "Ghost/Eerie Queerie". Do you have any suggestions to any yaoi? Besides, what's the difference between shonen-ai and yaoi? I know the Ring Finger volume is yaoi, but i think that ghost is shonen-ai (so I heard). Do you know the difference? :) -
I submitted 2 fan art submissions a few hours ago, and they told me to wait for about 48 hours. Then, I came back to my profile page, and there at the bottom of the page has a link that says, "Fan Art (2)". I click on it, and there is a message saying that the submissions are not there. Is this normal when one is waiting for the 48 hours waiting period and it will appear later or did otaku refuse my submission? Does anyone had this happen to them know what this message means? Thanks. Today is my first day as a new member. ^^
