1. In all honesty, when I was moderating I acted far more tolerable than I really was. However, I think it's important to act that way when you're really there to help others, kind of like customer service at stores and such. As for how I voice my opinions, yeah, I'm like that in real life. I'd be lying if I said I don't give a **** about the fact that most people shoot other people's opinions down upon contact, but in real life I don't care quite as much because I have people who respect me for my ability to see boths sides of an argument. A lot of times I feel as though I don't really fit in here, for one reason or another, but only recently have I felt this way. Who knows, maybe it's just me feeling "sorry" for myself or something :p So anyway, I really do think I'm very myself on these boards. To hell with anyone who can't deal with that :smirk:
  2.
Originally posted by Matt I hate snow. Snow leads to ice, ice leads to skidding, skidding leads to crashing. I was fishtailing all the way home from school.
I think you're the first and only person who has ever agreed with me ;D My junior year in high school I didn't know that my AWD Subaru didn't have ABS, so going around a corner in my neighborhood too fast proved disasterous. I ended up helplessly sliding into a huge snow bank and getting stuck. LUckily this guy happened to drive by and jump out and offer to dig me out. It took a while, but I finally got unstuck. After that, I hated snow even more :P
  3. Michigan, my old home, has snow. I'm more than content to not see any trace of it here in Southern California. I went back to Michigan last week and had to cross the parking lot of an event center near Detroit in the dark, and it was SO COLD and windy that I just wanted to cry :( But back here in Cali it's perfect, I'm enitrely grateful to be living here.
  4.
Originally posted by Mnemolth Let me take a wild guess here, you're not the ugliest person to have ever walked upon the face of the earth, are you? ;) Word up for all the beautiful people of the world. Good job! :D
 Generalizations just kill me. On that note, ugly people are freaks of nature! We should hate them all! Ugh. People need to lighten up and seek a sense of humor; not one that's dripping with rude, sarcastic remarks :p.
  5.
Originally posted by MistressRoxie And I'm not discrimiating against them, I'm voicing an opinion about them. Sorry if it's not what you wanted to hear.
And I was voicing my opinion. I didn't mean to sound like I was lashing out at your opinion :whoops: Random Thought: It seems as though everyone gets offended by everything I say nowadays; perhaps I should quit while I'm ahead ^_^; [edit]DBZChickaGhan- I'm sorry, I totally forgot to reply to your reason for posting. I think that your reaction was extremely justified, especially if you really do have feelings for this guy. There's nothing wrong with liking him even if you don't think he likes you, because there will be lots of times when "crushes" are one-sided. Happened to me all the time :p However, don't worry about it too much, I'm sure that there are those who still love you VERY VERY much!
  6.
Originally posted by gokents fore daddy, from your above remarks, I would say your an ***.
Foredaddy is not an ***. He's actually a veteran to these boards, and an extremely funny one at that ;) Roxie- I don't think super models are freaks of nature at all. Just because they were born with super beautiful features doesn't mean that we should discriminate against them and call them weird names :p
  7.
Originally posted by gokents My god... I am truely in awww. No words can descibe the shock on my face to see how many people are republicans. I totally thought this entire board was full of democrates.
So did I. The way most of you defend the rights of others in countless other threads, I would have deemed you all Democrats! Then again, I suppose it just upholds my theory of most members just trying to sound holier than thou :p ::cough:: Anyway, I'm a Democrat. There are several issuses that are categorized as "Democratic" traits that I don't agree with, but most other Democratic views I am highly supportive of.
  8. I'm super thankful for the fact that all of my friends can be back together after being scattered throughout the country, even though it's only for one day. I'm also eternally grateful that I made it home safely for this short Holiday :)
  9.
Originally posted by Semjaza Azazel They also had fun pointing out my accent, apparently people from Chicago say "Chicago" different than everyone else... lol
Oh but you do ^_^. It's kind of like 'Chicaaago'; I counseled a girl at camp that was from Chicago, and I laughed [silently, of course] whenever she said it. I always thought that people from Michigan had neutral accents, but my roommates told me that I have a northern accent or something. I admit that I say "bag" wrong, I can't pronounce it without using a long 'a' sound. I've also grown up saying 'pop', which isn't as uncommon as I originally thought. Apparently a lot of northern west coast people say pop, too. Lastly, after moving to California I've started to say things like "wicked" and other things I can't think of right now. I also swear [cuss] a lot more now :bluesweat: Oi, the funniest thing I've discovered from being out here is that Southern Californians really DO have Valley accents, and they really do say "gnarly"! Hehe, that makes me laugh!
  10.
Originally posted by Rick Hunter And if you want to talk about facades why don't you drop that Bad Girl with an attitude from Hell facade. O_o That really is just ridiculous and your making a fool out of yourself.
Hehe, that's always good to know, too :p

    Finch

Ooh, Finch is amazing. My boyfriend's roommate introduced me to their music, and I'm really glad that he did. I've tried looking for their CD in stores but I can't actually find it...maybe I'm just not looking correctly or something :therock: I'll just settle for downloads right now. This was actually my banner two or so months ago ^_^
  12.
Originally posted by Rick Hunter I originally had one more person on this list, but recent events must be taken into account and I don't think that person deserves my thanks or gratitude here.
That's always nice to know ;) But that's ok, I have those people that I don't respect either; I just don't say so in a respect thread ;D Enough with that façade... I've started talking to Semjaza Azazel recently, and I must add him to that last list in that other thread. He's listened to me bitch about countless things, especially things having to do with these boards, and I'm glad that someone took the time to listen. Many thanks
  13. I've read a majority of Zahn's Star Wars books, but I never really liked them. He's nothing compared to the almighty Michael A. Stackpole! Hah! ::is attacked by a huge mob of Star Wars geeks:: Ack...
  14. I would die a happy woman if I got to visit Africa and see giraffes up close, and if I got to pet them and feed them it would be even better! ^-^. I would also like to fall in love at least once but since that is happening to me right now, then it's something I no longer have to wish for :whoops:
  15.
Originally posted by Mr. Maul The 501st Legion are people who wear SW coustumes.
Oh, even better, a huge ground troop of geeks :blulaugh:
  16. Heck yeah things would be different for me; I wouldn't have much to do online when I'm bored if I hadn't found this place. And I wouldn't have met my boy Justin who became my first real "e-buddy". While I was modding I didn't feel at all like I was just here to do a 'job'. I probably got to know more people throughout that year of moderating than I am getting to know now. In some ways I actually miss people PMing me and asking me questions because it was a great way to meet new people :) As for my attachment to the boards, I know that my dedication has severely faded and that I hardly visit that often, but this is probably the only internet site that I will ever be able to look back on and remember some really great times. However, I could probably take a long break from the boards and be ok with it. Soon enough I think it'll be time to just move on :whoops:
  17.
Originally posted by Mitch Plus, I haven't even mentioned all of the possible disease which are possible due to piercings. Especially ir is bad if you get your tongue pierced, that really ups a chance for an infection.
Tongue piercings heal within 2-6 weeks, making them the fastest-healing piercing on the body. My navel piercing is STILL healing after about 4 months, and the entire healing process could take up to 12 months. I'd say that leaves far more time open for infection.
  18.
Originally posted by PiroMunkie Masturbation is the only safe sex, lol.
Not if both parties partaking in the sexual act are responsible :) I don't want to get in a debate, but just you wait! sex is MUCH more enjoyable than then loneliness of masturbation :toothy:
  19. Have sex. I've got all you masturbators beat on that one! I think I've also developed a beer-drinking habit when bored at night...
  20.
Originally posted by Boba Fett What is the 501st legion?
Sounds like some sort of fighter squadron or ground troop group.
  21.
Originally posted by PiroMunkie When you get older you have to face things like drugs, sex, friends, school, violence, etc. So if someone says, "I am never smoking marijuana again!" they are old enough and experienced enough to care. They can back their statement up with a reason, or reasons.
I definitely haven't given in to my vow of marijuana celebacy, even though I have had countless oppurtunities to partake in the hobby.
I just decided from then on not to drink an alcoholic beverage because it tastes horrible.
I used to think all beer tasted bad....but it doesn't ^_^. There is definitely one thing I said I'd never do that I recently gave in to. I'm not about to reveal it, seeing as how it's rather private, but I'm not ashamed of it at all. I don't think I made a wrong decision to start doing it afterall :).
  22.
Originally posted by Char! Dessert: Sahara ;)
Too bad 'desert' is only spelled with one 's' :p
  23. I'd recommend the movie just for the sake of seeing it. As shadowdramon, the mood is dark, but it conveys the slums of Detroit perfectly. It was all shot on-location in Detroit, and being from Michigan myself and having made numerous trips to D-Town, I know how ghetto the downtown area is. Therefore I really liked that aspect of the movie; very true to life.
  24.
Originally posted by RicoTranzrig The only surgery I had done on me was oral surgery. Wisdom teeth taken out and I didn't like the effects of general anesthesia and the pain from the incisions.
That is the only surgery I've had as well. I remember waking up after the surgery, but due to the anesthetic I don't remember walking out to the car or even the trip home. Trying to remember it was like piecing together a night that you were too drunk to remember :drunk:

Where the heck does "Top" come from? :drunk: ...that was off topic.
