I actually hated Spongebob for a long time, I was grossed out (and weirded out) by the entire thing. Over time I guess I just grew to appreciate the stupid humor. Now my bro and I make sure we watch it every afternoon, and sometimes I think I'm more entertained by it than he is :excited:

I had an odd dream about New York City last night. First of all it was winter and I was walking around downtown with my mom, and since it was cold I was wearing my black dress up pants and my leather jacket. Some random New York woman stared at me and said, "You're too skinny." and then walked away o_O Later on in the dream my mom and I were at a diner getting something to eat when this lady in the booth behind us reached over and just took my fork. Now, being the outspoken girl that I am, I replied, "How about you ASK next time?" The lady got really mad and so I stole her knife and then stomped up to the counter to get a new fork. When I came back to the table my mom was sitting with her and her husband, and so I started to argue with the fork stealer's husband as well. Eventually, I stabbed him really hard with my fork and made him bleed. Then I felt bad and apologized and we all ate lunch together :drunk:

What does your sig/avator/user name mean?
BabyGirl replied to Utena_Tenjou's topic in General Discussion
My username...God knows why I chose BabyGirl, but it's stuck with me for more than a year and it's quite 'me' now ^_^ My avatar is the lovely Faye Valentine...how could it be anyone else? I really do try to change my avatar to things and people other than her, but I can't stand it when I do. Basically, Faye is my anime idol :excited: My banner shows how I think that a relationship between Faye and Spike would have been possible, or perhaps even could still be possible...in another time and place ;) I try to choose lyrics or a quote that either suit the mood of my banner or my mood overall, and since I'm currently obsessed with Incubus, that's who the lyrics are by (they're meant to go with the banner sorta) ^-^. And the " bwah!"? Oui, 'tis a secret between my Justin and I :toothy:. -
??maybe we shouldn?t touch him now. We should wait until he?s at home or something.? ?That?s what we?re doing, Ana. We?re following him there.? ?Oh.? Kylju pointed toward the ceiling, ?We just need to figure out how to get up there. Are you any good at seducing?? Ana?s jaw dropped, ?You?ve got to be kidding.? He shook his head, ?I can slip past people a bit more easily than you.? ?No. Absolutely not.? Ana crossed her arms, hardly willing to flaunt herself around a few guards with raging hormones, ?And how would that work on droids, anyway?? ?I can take care of the droids?it?s the living beings that I need your help with.? She groaned and found that irritation was catching up with her again, ?I can?t denounce myself to that.? ?Ana, listen, you?re the one who wants to get this guy?I?m just along for the ride. You can do it my way or not do it at all?either way, it doesn?t matter much to me.? Ana tore her gaze away from his eyes, they were mesmerizing her, ?No. I won?t do it your way. We?ll do it my way.? Impatience caused Kylju to ball his hands into fists, ?And what exactly would that be?? ?Find me where all transports are docked in here and I can tell you exactly which one he flies.?

If there were only women in this world...
Originally posted by shadowdramon And don't ever pull out a woman's weave. That's like calling a black guy the n word.
:rotflmao: Heh, some of these posts are hilarious (in a good way!) ^_^; And I just want to point out that I'm merely playing devil's advocate here...I'm not trying to argue for or against anyone's opinions...yet. Though I have read quite a few posts that say that the wars would be of the backstabbing sort...because all women are petty with their arguments against one another? Isn't that making a rather large assumption about women? I, for one, don't hold long grudges. I don't take part in bitch fights, I don't get mad over stupid thing, and I know a lot of girls who are the same as I. Don't make it sound like ALL women solve things by talking **** about each other...because we don't :p -
The key to good driving is to not be afraid of what's going on around you. If you're scared of driving, chances are you'll both hate it and be bad at it. I was never scared of diving and I'm not afraid of heavy traffic...you just have to be aware of what's going on around you. Keep practicing, and if you drive assertive enough and stay alert, chances are you won't have any problems.
Originally posted by Mist Who says? A lot of women want power, and through the ages, have had power. How do you know what kind of power women want. That defies no laws of nature what-so-ever. :p
Actually, Kiwi and I discussed that very possibility :p -
If there were only women in this world...
Originally posted by zidane11 No, because the population would die because of not being able to reproduce. If that didn't happen then there would be wars with no men to say that you can't.
:therock: You lost me. -
Originally posted by Char! How absurd. 'Borleias' always reminds me of 'Borsk Fey'lya' o_O _____________________ "Can you slave your ship to mine?" Ana glance back and forth between the two starfighters. Kylju looked at her in disbelief, "What? It is possible, yes, but I'd never actually slave it to someone else's ship...especially not yours." "Well how do I know that you won't run away on me?" He grinned, "You'll just have to trust me. I would offer you a ride in my Headhunter, but there's hardly enough room for me." Ana sighed, "Fine. But you had better keep your word, if you're not there when I exit hyperspace in Borleias?" Annoyed, Kylju leaned down and brought his face close to hers, "I will be." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ And he was there. Ana came out of hyperspace a few minutes behind Kylju but he was waiting for her, "Ok, I secured a large docking bay just outside Larghri that should fit the both of us." "All right." The trip from Coruscant to Borleias had been short, but Ana was starting to get worn out. She hadn't slept in what must have been at least two Bismini days. "I'll send you the approach vector. Follow me in." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "So what sort of territory is this now?" Ana had opted to bring her long white cloak with her into Larghri. Kylju gave her a sideways glance, "What do you mean?" "Hasn't the Republic lost control of this area?" "Lady, the Republic isn't even worth mentioning anymore." Ana scowled at "lady", but decided to let it be. Until they left the spaceport, the two walked in silence. Kylju kept looking down at Ana. She was short enough?and he was tall enough?to clearly see the top of her head. What an unlikely pair we make, he mused, a dark roguish killer and a fiery young girl whose attitude doesn't match up with her beauty. He was first to break the silence, "Do you constantly have that scowl on your face?" "No," she snapped, "only when I'm frustrated and tired and irritated." Klyju joked, "If only looks could kill..." Which earned him a hard punch in the arm, "Hey, I didn't deserve that." Nearly smiling, Ana turned to look up at him, "Do you constantly not see the fault in your ways?
Originally posted by Mnemolth Interesting....does that mean you expect the same in return? That your bf would forgive and forget, so to speak, if you succumbed to your animal instincts? Or is it only a one-way street? ;) If so, are you saying that somehow girls are required to be more faithful than guys? Wouldn't that be a kind of double standard? :)
How that could be twisted into a double standard I don't know lol. In saying that I would forgive my boyfriend for cheating, I was merely speaking from the female's point of view. I'm not saying that girls are required to be more faithful (though I've had 'experiences' with a non-faithful male)...and indeed, if I cheated I would want my boyfriend to fogive me. "Hey hunny, I just cheated on you, please don't forgive me...hate me!" How you could expect someone to not want forgiveness is beyond me :drunk:

For those of you who aren't in relationships, please, don't try and rush into one. They're not all they're cracked up to be. It takes commitment and it causes stress. Unless you're ready for a huge emotional upheaval (whether you see that as a good or bad thing), stick to being friends or simply dating the opposite gender. Believe me, take your time ^_^;

"Ugh, you can't find anything?" Frustrated, Ana scrubbed her hands over her face. "Settle down, I'll find something eventually." Ana raised her voice, "Don't tell me to settle down!" "Hey!" Kylju grabbed her arm and she nearly tumbled into his lap, "I told you to stay quiet." His face was dangerously close to hers, and his grip was far too tight. Ana stared at him for a moment and two pairs of fiery green eyes glared at one another. Kylju's eyes started to soften, and Ana was too distracted to notice his grip begin to loosen and eventually drop her arm, "Let go of me, please." "I already did." Suddenly incredibly angry with himself, Kylju swiveled back to face the data port. "Oh...thanks." She rubbed the spot that he had so carelessly grabbed her. She hated how he always took her by surprise. I don't give a damn if you think she's attractive...she tried to kill you...and she's in the way of your work! Kylju's thoughts pissed him off, "Just shut the hell up for right now." "Don't?" When he pointed a warning finger in her face, Ana snapped her jaw shut and turned away from him. Typical male! "Here. Finally. Something." Kylju scrolled down the small screen, " 'Regal Fortress sits in green waters'...what the hell does that mean?" Next to him, Ana snorted, "So much for useful information." Turning to face her, Kylju noted the blaze in her eyes, "You want information? You can get it yourself! I'm trying my damn best, I don't need you to sit there and insult everything I do." Because the site of her now unnerved his belly, he looked away. "I'm not insulting everything you do. I'm merely in a hurry to scratch this four year itch that has become the very bane of my existence!" Kylju's voice iced over, "I could easily kill you and get you off my case." And get your image out of my mind. Ana lifted her chin, "You wouldn't dare." "Is that a challenge?" The stupid girl sorely underestimated his speed. He wrapped one hand around the back of her neck and dragged her to her feet. He watched panick flicker across her face before she gained control of it again, allowing temper to overshadow fear. "If I have to tell you to get your damn hands off of me one more time?" Ana's angry words were cut short when Klyju pressed his lips firmly against hers. Ana nearly cried out when his mouth touched hers...it was all far too familiar! But something stopped her. He wasn't pressed aginst her, he wasn't painfully grabbing her hair, he was hardly forcing anything onto her...and his mouth seemed gentle, in a rough sort of way... When she pushed him away, Kylju swore. What the hell had he just done? One glace at her wide eyes easily revealed that he had scared her. But it wasn't the normal steely-eyed, surprised look she had whenever he had pinned her before...this time it was something different, "Dammit," Kylju shoved his hands in his pockets, "look, I didn't mean for that to happen." Her voice betrayed her, "Neither did I." I didn't mean for that to actually feel right...it was supposed to feel all wrong. Utterly confused, Ana looked away from Klyju and crossed her arms, "Let's just try to figure out what that means. Then we can get the hell away from each other."

Nope, I, Jedi is (I believe) the only first-person story in the entire EU line, and it isn't a part of any series. It does deal with events that happen during the Jedi Academy trilogy, which can start to seem semi dull if you've read the trilogy beforehand. Actually, I would recommend reading the Jedi Academy trilogy before I, Jedi...otherwise you'll ruin the trilogy by knowing what happens ^_^. But that's just my opinion...others probably think otherwise ^_~
