Originally posted by Cibo Aw, come on baby...thought the females of all people would be able to tell that I was being scarcastic.
Actually, I was joking as well :p Heh, the funny thing that most guys don't know: Girls think like males in the sense that [most all of them] want to get some as well! We just don't reveal this too often for fear of being called a slut. Ahem. Now you know.
  2. Actually, what she is saying about older members who do not have a staffing position is accurate, and it's unfair of us to disregard that. I met (and frequently talked to) someone on v2 who was quite well known and had been around for a while. When we made the switch from v2 to v3, he didn't come around as much. When he did, and found that I had become a moderator...he decided to leave because I became a mod over him :(. Now, I felt really bad, even though I'm sure that wasn't the ONLY reason he left, but this was a well known, well liked member...and I sorta felt responsible...even though it wasn't my fault. My point being, there ARE older members who feel that way. Most of them just aren't willing to voice their opinion, for fear of sounding whiney or such. I think Blanko had a good point and I don't see why you are all saying that her post is irrelevant. She is only stating that people who celebrate their post count or spam to obtain a certain title are, well...stupid. Staff, I know you agree with that. No reason to cut her down for voicing that publically.

    1st Game?
Originally posted by Char-Char,Mander-Char! Alright, got the hippo thing down, and what about that painting in the same room? What's it mean?
The painting is just something fun to look at after you get the magnifying lens or whatever it's techinically called...it is basically a foreshadowing item ;)
  4. Adam! Your avatar is quite nice...mesa like ;)
  5.
Originally posted by Cibo That is why you ALWAYS try and get some before you know you have to leave!
Spoken like a true guy
  6. Bringing back prohibition would be so not good :) What happened back in the 1920s is exactly what happens today with underage drinkers. If you're under 21, the thrill of getting away with drinking is incredible (well...it's also fun, but you know  ) and that's what happened during prohibition. If they brought it back, kittie is very correct that there would be TONS of speak easies (hehe), and people would start being thrown in jail left and right for bootlegging.
Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
I think the government learned from their mistake, and I'm sure it would never happen again :)
  7. Whee! That certainly makes me smile! It's very good Asuka :) And you're so smart...you did my hair in my favorite anime style...it's awesome! Hehe, nice workie here

    1st Game?
Originally posted by jcgoudy And there's nothing special about the blue hippo in Animal Village.
Except for the fact that she is THE coolest character in that entire game! Wait...I lie :p
  9.
Originally posted by Vegitto4 Its ticking me off that my parents wont let me tak to her at all, unless its e-mai. I might not ever get to see her again because of them.:flaming: :flaming:
*hug for Vegitto* :) Hm, this actually has happened to me before, but it was while he still lived in Michigan. This guy moved out to California for college so mesa no longer see him. It's sorta sad too, because he was so awesome...:(
  10. I would say you're hot, but you're a bit too young for moi...so I can say you're cute :) And besides, you've posted that picture before because I remember it...I hope you're not someone who isn't supposed to be here :shifty: Hehehe, just kidding :p ...or am I? Beh :naughty:
  11.
Originally posted by Cera So there's Baby Guava Girl and Baby Kiwi... What about Baby Banana? Baby Grapefruit? Baby Pineapple?
Actually...! You're very astute, Cera. We DO have a friend with the nickname Frosted Mahogany Banana...:p It sounds weird, but her real name is Johanna, so it rhymes with banana, yeah...you get it :) So, the three of us are best friends...Frosted Mahogany Banana, Periwinkle Kiwi, and Crimson Guava...what a bunch :rotflmao: Ah, but anyway, here is our Banana
  12.
Originally posted by Cera Cera...is how I spell my name...so people don't call me Sarah....no "h"...please...that bugs me.... I'm really asking for it now, aren't I?
Well geeze Sarah, you don't have to be so picky ya know! I'm kidding...please don't hurt me :nervous: Well...as for BabyGirl...I don't know how that one came about. Back on v2 it started as BabyGirl, changed it to Baby [space] Girl, and then added asterics...because that's back when we could change our main title :wigout: So...it became *Baby Girl* until that version went down... But yeah, I have no idea where BabyGirl originally came from. It's sort of a nickname of mine, but not a more well-known one. Perhaps I just wanted to establish myself as très très femme :p
  13.
Originally posted by sexyjessie4 Wow!! That sounds like exactly what I'm thinking!! All of my friends have serious relationships and good boyfriends (that they are always with and it makes me feel ditched...but thats another topic) and its like, why can't I just find a guy to have a serious relationship with?
*waves* Hi hon, I don't have a boyfriend either :( Remember, we're going to have so much fun on Valentine's Day and throw ourselves a singles party...whee! But yeah...it's annoying...and SexyJessie, yousa are sexy...why are we the ones who can't have good, lasting relationships? :bawl: *ponders, but can't think of a logical explanation* :therock: Bummer, dude.

  15.
Originally posted by Cera Jenna, you are a beautiful, strong person. Your brother is blessed to have a sister like you, and I am convinced that you will make a wonderful mother as well. ;)
Thank you Cera, and Justin, and James :) I'm surprised I could actually post something rational in the whole topic, since I was nearly blinded my anger...ack... This is the first time I have ever been extremely upset about a topic...and this is probably the only time you guys will ever catch a glimpse of Jenna when she's really angry, as opposed to just being cynically, temporarily angry ;) I don't think I'm going to apologize for what I've said in here, because I meant every word of it. Besides, if the shoe fits, wear it... I'm very glad there are some very compassionate people at the boards who support my points :) And thanks for that hug, Anna  I just had dinner and I'm feeling much better. Hopefully this topic will drift off soon...
  16.
Originally posted by Will2x ok not all do, but either way id be ending up taking care of someone that doesnt understand anything at all, cant hear me and cant see. 20 years later itll be about 4'2 id have to spoon feed alot and if its not that bad it wont try and take off its diper and poop on the floor. i just dont understand, wheres the love in that, if it had the ability to learn math be able to read with some help and like be able to have feelings then thats defently something to keep. i wouldnt want a child that would jus sit there and stare blankly into the sky and every once and awile forgets to breath and has to have check ups once a week for the rest of its life sucking my money dry. that would not be anything anyone would want would they? i mean it wouldnt matter if i loved it or hated it wouldnt understand at all..i mean me and wife would be better of without it and so would it.
Your ignorance is once again overwhelming me. Topic very very close to being closed...
  17.
Originally posted by Will2x as for me i couldnt picture myself constantly helping a child that wouldnt be able to understand what i was doing and would never be able to do anything but drool, and poop.
Not all disabilities cause a child to just "drool and poop", even if that is sometimes the harsh reality of a situation. I suggest you read up on different disabilities, both physical and mental...it may help you understand a bit... I'm not going to get mad or be mean anymore unless this gets out of hand...mesa promise...
  18.
Originally posted by Delian Oooh you might think they're excellent, but if you haven't already you will come crashing down really bad.....Plus, if you start blanking out or having memory lapses...then try to remember the words "I told you so";)
Nuh uh! I'd have liked not having to use them...but I had practice really early every morning. They saved me...but I don't think they're excellent. My body was still exhausted...I was like a walking zombie :p
  19.
Originally posted by Anti I have one comment, it is the medical term for that kinda situation....so his terms are fine...
What I meant by PC, meaning politcally correct, is what is the better-accepted term used by todays society. If someone called you retarded, you probably wouldn't think anything of it (unless it was meant in a mean way) because it has become know as "stupid", and as a derogatory term. But the fact that it's carelessly thrown around and meant in a harmful way...it has gotten outdated. I'm biting peoples' heads off, and I'm sorry for that...I get really worked up about this crap...I shall leave this topic alone for now :shifty:
  20.
Originally posted by Squashed Snail :wow: :wow: That first hill is huge
It is. It's so awesome. Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio has been voted the planet's best amusement park or something like that...I'm lucky to live only 3 hours (or so)away from it :excited:
  21. Will, I didn't mean to be rude, though I know I was. This one hits really really close to home. It just hurts to know that there are so many people out there who could look at someone with a physical or mental handicap and see the challenge rather than the person. Besides, everyone has challenges, some are just a lot more apparent than others. My "challenge" is the fact that I can't really open up to people...your challenge is ignorance. Most times, those challenges are a lot worse than being stuck in a wheelchair or having down syndrom...
  22.
Originally posted by Delian Never take caffeine pills...They do more harm than good....
Those things have saved me every day this week.... Gah :drunk:
  23.
Originally posted by tetsuo i would have to be a good father and say i want to keep the child no matter what flaws he/she may have. the child is mine i help in creating it, and it is life and no matter what types of problems it may have it is beautiful because it is from me and the one that i love(or at least i hope it will be that way).
I think I have just fallen in love :love2: You are going to be an awesome father, tetsuo...mesa can tell :)
  24. I'm afraid your terms aren't quite PC, Will. If you want to sound semi-correct, use mentally challenged...retarded is one of the biggest derogatory terms and I hate it. I'm trying really hard to not give my opinion on this because it is extremely one sided...of course I would keep the baby! Gah, ok, I'm not going to get mad...but don't be surprised if this topic gets suddenly closed due to ignorance of our fellow members.
