Religion
Originally posted by PiroMunkie *Sigh* I think the whole religion topic has been beaten into the ground enough on board. These topics rarely work out cause someone always says something that offends another person and they take it all personally and post angrily and it becomes nothing but a flame-fest. [edit]Hehe, too late on the swearing thing, Baby Girl caught ya :p Good ol' Baby Girl, always can depend on her :D *pats BG on the head* :)
Aww, 'sank you Piro :) (me ---> ) But yes, I seem to agree with you. *sigh* I'm closing this one ONLY because it was started out of anger, rather than reasoning.
  2.
Originally posted by Cera O.o Coolies! Jars of Clay is awesome. And Steven Curtis Chapman....and Newsboys....and... ::looks around:: :: promptly shuts mouth:: Heh, well... We're doing a unit on Christian Music in Theology II right now. Coolest class I've ever taken. :D All we did today was watch a music video of WoW 1997. Don't tell me my teacher's not awesome. :p
*hugs, loves TN* (yay big hair bands!) And Cera, my mom is a huge fan of Mr. Chapman, and I like the Newsboys quite a bit myself! I saw them live at Aquire the Fire in Detroit...it was so awesome...it was like this huge, two day, non-stop Christian concert with great speakers in between. Huge, huge event....and we had floor seats...we go THIS close to the stage...Kirk Franklin raised the roof...literally, it seems...since the SilverDome in Detroit is actually a huge inflatable dome thing... but anyway! I don't know where I was going with that, other than (even though I haven't been listening to them lately) Christian bands do rock...big time :D
Originally posted by Pyromaniac I know!! Osama bin Laden goes and bombs us, kills thousands of innocent ppl. Ooookay, sh*tmonger, we're not the ones who killed thousands of ppl, so SHUT THE FU*K UP!!!:flaming:
I understand your anger, Pyro, but please watch your language. There are far more effective ways of trying to understand religion than ranting and raving about it.
  4. Well...I have a few: *Incubus *Creed *Queen
  5. If it were to come down to interests (which, it doesn't I don't think...but that's beside my point) then you guys would have a hard time finding a chick who would sit and play video games with you for hours or watch anime... For us, on the other hand, it's quite easy...almost every guy I know loves to play console games...as do I :p
  6.
Originally posted by Defcon5 MY sig has qoutes from famous people.
Bahaha! I love your little  Defcon5  ...that made me literally laugh out loud -__-

  9.
Originally posted by jcgoudy And then, when he tries to take a vacation, he crashes on an island that's all a dream, and he has to get himself out of that mess. (Link's Awakening).
Haha, I never knew it was like that...I mean, I was aware that it was all a dream, but Link's Awakening, being my first Zelda game ever, held little significance in my every day thoughts. I never related the fact that he was this big time hero who just wanted a break...beh...that's almost humorous...
  10.
Originally posted by coolkam007 how about.. be manly about it and say that you quit ^^ then walk away.. then if he/she grabs you or somthing then resort to.. not so manly resorces and yell 'RAPE!' .. ^^
Bwahaha! You just reminded me of a long-ago taught method...! Allow me to explain: I am currently a senior in high school, and when I was a freshman three or so years ago, it was required to take Physical Education. Now, this was the year before we switched to block scheduling which made the switch from 7 to only 4 classes per day, and so year-long classes soon became semester-long. Anyway, I had the dreaded Ms. Deborah Boyd Hancock for PE, and she insisted on telling us that all men are EVIL. So, she told us many things about how evil men are and how never leave your kids alone with your husband...! :drunk: In case this story is going no where, I shall wrap it up and say, Cam, what you reminded me of was instead of yelling "RAPE!" you're supposed to yell "FIRE!"...because people tend to run away from where rape victims are...-__- Wait...did that make sense? I hope so...because if you can understand the ironic humor (and, perhaps, the idiocism that this woman put upon us young and impressionable girls...) then your day should be brighter. That is all, have a nice day :)

  14. Actually Angewomon, Piro is correct...if you could shorten it maybe a quarter or so, that would be perfect. Thanks :D Anyway...sigs? Mine is sooo boring right now...ugh.
  15. What is it with new members bringing up old topics lately? Please, do not bring up old topics. Thank you :)

  17.
Who? *looks around* Who's confused? Me? You? Both? If you want me to explain...it's this guy that I'm going out with tonight...I've known him for a while, but he moved to California for college. We decided that things would not work while he was out there, so...yeah, he's back to visit this weekend, and we're going out tonight. But he's really oblivious to things and makes me upset. Yes :drunk:
  18.
Originally posted by Anti o.O I resent that.....not all of us are "as* holes" or "stupid boys":flaming: ....
Hehe, yes, *most* guys. You have caught me at a bad moment...I'm dealing with a really dumb guy right now. No matter how much I luv him...he's still dumb :p
  19.
Originally posted by Lotus I don't have problem with talking to the opposite sex. Most of my friends are guys anyway. I just want to know when do you really know the border between friendship and beyond that?
Basically...I think it's the kiss that determines all. After you cross that kiss barrier...you're more than friends. Of course, certain situations would be different, but I still think most have to do with the kiss, yes (hehehe ---> :smooch: ) Or, if you talk about it with a guy, then that can usually determine a lot. But...most guys are arse holes...ugh...stupid boys -_-
  20.
Heh, I'm speaking of the Michigan State University Spartans...go Spartans! Heheh, I love college football
  21.
Originally posted by Lady Macaiodh baby girl! you have 5 toilets? your house must be big. mine only has 2, & it's an average sized house!
Yeah...but it's a hell of a lot harder to clean...and takes waaay too long
  22.
Originally posted by Transtic Nerve My parents were never that strict.... but they weren't all that lienent..... They trusted me and my brother.... we gave them that trust back.... I've never got into trouble with the police, I've never been to partys to get drunk (I've never been drunk), don't do drugs, don't drink... Probably cause I was smart enough to realize that those things aren't good.
I think you're a good kid cause your parents weren't too strict :) I have a friend who is a 4.0 student, running for valedictorian, has only drank at a party once (against her morals, yes), never breaks the rules, and all of that good stuff...and her parents hardly ever gave her restrictions. Though I know, TN, that you're probably a naturally good kid anyway...heh :excited:...(I'm not  ) Um...Go Spartans! I'm done :)
  23. Cleaning...! That's what I'm doing today in fact. I don't mind cleaning the house when there's no one home to interfere with what I'm doing...in other words, I hate cleaning when people are home >_
  24.
Originally posted by PiroMunkie Has parenting screwed up? Most definitely. It has been that way and will continue to be. I still treated like a freaking child, and I hate it so very very much.
Heh, I'm 17, and still held with rules and regulations and curfews blah blah blah... I've discovered though that, no matter how much I hate it, it really has made me a good child. If parenting has screwed me up, it's only in a good way. They've given me tons of rules and shiz like that, but in the long run, they've instilled morals that I at least remember (as opposed to actually upholding them...) Funny thing is, the more they try to reign me in, the more rebellious I become :naughty:. Haha, they still think I'm a perfect little ...they have no idea about the stuff I do...:drunk:...behehe... Bah! My mom wasn't a bad kid, she was this perfect little A+ student...so she freaks out if someone breaks the law...(I even got grounded once for driving 6 minutes past midnight before I had my unrestricted license...!!!) In the long run, I know that my kids will be tempted to go out and drink at parties and stuff, and I will let them...as long as I know where and with who. I'm gonna be a bad mommy...but my kids will love me for it :p
  25.
Originally posted by PiroMunkie LMAO! Aww, poor Mask, lol. I'm sure you'll find out some day. Oh goodness that was just an unexcpected post that caused an excruciatingly large amount of hilarity
Baha! My thoughts exactly, Piro...gahh, what a night...:drunk:
