This is a hard choice. :animeswea But in the end I would have to go with [b]Katana[/b]. The fire from the gun really attracted my eyes. THe fire looks absolutely awesome [not that zeke's isn't of course]. I also like the gradient on the stock. I really like the soft warm colors. I think the stars in the bg needs to be toned down a little. ezekiel - I really love the burn effect on the stock but the thing that really made me vote for katana's was the brushing along the left. I noticed that you always use almost the exact same brushes on some of your pieces. THe brushing looks a little funny because along the stop of the white brushing, there seems to be like a sudden stop, like an invisible border. But I really like the border. Very cool. Great job both of you. :)

[b]Retr[/b]i gmv. I really like the the blue moon. The sideways text is a very creative add to the piece. I also like how it's simple and clean cut. As for Aaryanna, The haloween theme seems like a good idea but I think the stock images used could have been contrasted a little more to make it stand out a little more and the flying witch could have been cut a bit cleaner, cause you can still see the white outlines. And the blue stars seemed a little too much. Great job both of you. :)

[b]Kitty[/b] gmv. I really like how you lightened up the lightbulb. I also really love the typography. I thought it was more interesting to read than the rest of the entries. haha...the cat. The stars made a good bg. I love the black 'energy' inside the bulb. [b]Xra[/B] - I personally think that einstiens face shouldn't have been on top of the bulb. The bg is also really blurry and the text seems a little plain . I think if you had some color in it, it would look more lively. To me, einstein seems a bit out of place when placed with a bulb. I would say benjamin franklin would match a bit more, since he 'did' discover electricity right? haha. [b]Eclipse[/b] - The fire looked pretty nice but it just didn't stand out enough for me to have voted for it. I admit I can't even get a fire too look that nice myself though. The text is a little small if you compare it to the rest of the piece. Maybe try to get that to pop out of the piece a but more. great job all of you. :)

[b]Delta[/b] gmv. The colors are very vibrant which makes it stand out alot more than Chikara's. Although I can't really see where the starting image is. I see only part of it. I also really love the stock image you used. Bleach PWNS!!1!11! ... [b]Chikara[/b] - I'm not very fond of the bg at all. It doesn't match the rest of the piece. But I like the font you used on the top and bottom of it. BUt i also noticed that the Ace symbol has some weird looking streaks across it. I'm not sure if it was intentional or not but it doesn't match the rest of the piece either. Great job both of you. :)

Same. When I started making my piece no one posted theirs up yet. So when I was about to post mine i saw Boo's piece and then it was like 'Oh man. I'm screwed'. But I was thinking about earlier today and I think I'm going to redo mine. It might be a little late. I agree with sakurasuka though. When I think of things that fly, I think of freedom.

Ok, for round two, when you said no cropping, did you mean like no cropping the picture from the white bg? cuz that's just cruel. :cussing:

You know, I kind of expected it to turn out this way. I REALLY hated the image we were given. I'm pretty sure we all did. I really wish we all coud've been given the same image. Serious. Beer. oO lol. but luckily it didn't turn out as bad as I thought it would be. :animesigh great job everyone.

Stand Up is a really awesome series. yamapi is absolutely adorable.[spoiler]and who can resist seeing half-naked yamapi *drool*[/spoiler] I think the full series is hosted on youtube somewhere. That's how I watched the whole thing. A really good one is [b]Kurosagi[/b]. I've only watched a few episodes but it's good from what I saw. And plus, Yamapi is the main character. The main character from Nobuta wo Produce is also co-starring with him. I forgot her name.

I'd have to agree that [i]Grave of the Fireflies[/i] is definitely the saddest movie I've ever seen. I remember watching it as a child and was weeping all night. I think i cried myself to sleep. Then about a year ago, we found the cantonese version of the movie, and yet again I weeped myself to sleep that night again. I mean if you watch it yourself, it's pretty sad. And then we watched it again for my animation class and almost everyone in my class cried. HARD. I know I did. [spoiler]The tears came bursting out when setsuko died and seita is burning her body. T.T [/spoiler]. ByFar the saddest movie I've seen.
