these images are too hard to work with. try findinf larger pictures that are better quality. :)

wow. I can tell alot of hard work was put into this. I really love the amount of black in this piece. Although I find the dark areas around his eyes a bit patchy. Maybe smoothly blend it into the skin next time. :) I love the detail on the headband and eyes though. The hair seems a little out of place since it's kind of sharpened and the rest of the piece is smooth. I also really love the fact that this wasn't done in anime style. great work.

like r2vq said, the hair is really nice but it doesn't match much with the rest of the picture. I think you did really well with coloring his arm. although I think the shading on his neck is a little awkward. I think the ear is actually placed where it's supposed to be since it looks like you're looking at him from a lower angle .

[/COLOR][/QUOTE] I think it was meant as a shadow since there seems to also be a corresponding shadow in the ribbon hole too.

The image and effects are very good but try to make the text stronger because you can't see the 'H' and the 'i' . Maybe try adding a border too. :)

[b]Ezekiel[/b] gmv this round also. Ezekiel - I really like how the quote/text matches shikamaru perfectly. Although I think Shikamaru's should area is a little too white. It makes it seem like there's a white chunk behind it. Where it starts to get really black, I think the random line things are a little awkward. Katana - Your piece is very creative with the nose mouth and hair but the lines are really bothersome to me. it's a very good idea but the lines are very un-liney so it seems really awkward to me especially where it's supposed to be hair. BUT the typography doesn't really seem like a handicap for your piece since it looks like it was purposely that font type even without the handicap. Good job both of you. I wish you guys good luck. :)

For this round, I'd have to go with [b]sakurasuka[/b]. sakurasuka - I really think the fact that you did everything without brushes is really great. It shows the hard work you put into it.Maybe try to add a border to the text so the 'S' doesn't fall into the image itself. I also really like the circles and the typography even if the font was restricted to 2. Very creative. I wouldn't be abel to survive this round at all. ^^' r2vq - You must've had ALOT of patience to be able to do all that. But I just can't something that would catch my eye with your piece. I don't see much a distinguished style in yours. The ribbon hole and the bookmark idea is very creative. Maybe just try to make it more appealing to the eye. but nonetheless great job. wow. you have a really nice drawing style. you have a great sense of proportions and I'm definitely liking the details in the clothing. I also really like how you draw the eyes and hands. It takes a lot of practice to be able to draw really nice hands like yours. You must've worked really hard to get this good. :) I'm jealous.

Well, since I was raised alot differently than most of my friends, I tend to expect alot out of people, male and female. But since this is about the opposite sex, I guess I'll have to talk about guys. I live in a city where there aren't very many "hot" or "handsome" men around, so looks don't matter all that much to me. I personally think [most] guys are way too superficial these days, especially with the increase of these 'stick-like' girls nowadays. And being the high school kids we are, [in my school] they all tend to think that being 'wangsta' will get them ladies. I find that really pathetic. I also think that the girls at my school are quite pathetic too to think that acting stupid is attractive. Maybe it's just my school. It's probably lead my to not even thinking about the opposite sex at all. anwyays. I think that personality is probably the most important thing in a relationship whether it be hetero's or homo's. Personality and compatibility is most important. Just think of the looks as a bonus if they are somewhat attractive. I mean think about it. If you had a sexyhott BF/GF without personality, wouldn't more people try to hit on them and have a chance to take them away? but personally I'm really against middle school/high school relationships. It's pretty rare to see high school sweethearts stay together for a long time. It's pretty much useless cause once you get into college, you meet new people and there's always that chance where you would meet someone even better for yourself. And did I mention it also affects school work alot. Don't deny it. And besides, you truely don't find your true self until you start becoming an adult. I might be thinking this a little too far but that's just how I am. I'm not gonna waste my time with useless stuff like that.

Hm. My current obsession at the moment is with Gackt's 'Last Song' . The lyrics really got me and the music/singing really just makes my day whenever i listen to the song. Gackt is really amazing so yeah. It's defintiely gonna stay an obsession for a while longer. haha.

I really like the second one. it's really well done. for the first one, maybe work on the typography a little. the text isn't all that great. For the second one, the main stock seems a little out of place. it's hard to describe. the last one is a little awkward also. the riku image seems stretched out and needs to be a little lightened. pretty good though even if i only pointed out the things that needed to be worked on. :)
