Charcoals are really hard to work with so I can tell alot of work came into this. The hair looks really well done. The only thing I can point out is try to put some more depth to her face by shading more specific sections of her face and varying the shades.. Her face still seems 2-D while everything else makes it look 3-D. But for a first that's defintiely a great job. :)

*looks at above post*...Ok.... anyways, I have to vote for [b]white[/b] this round. The colors are really appealing to the eyes and the animation to the leaf = coolness. The typo is somewhat awkward but didn't really notice this at first. the diagonal bars are a great touch but i have to point out, the 'broadway' thing doesn't match very well with the overall feel to the piece. kayblade - like ezekiel has said. I'm somewhat disappointed when I saw your entry since I've seen alot of your past work. Maybe it was the handicaps. but you have done better imo. the light blue fading into trandparency is real sloppy and I know you could have done better with the typography.

For the dir en grey one, sometimes too much text effects makes it even harder to read. there was no need for the inner glow and to make it more legible, instead of having the outer glow lighter, have it darker since the text itself is bright. as for the pink one, its pretty good but try to increase the qulatiy of the main stock. you can try duplicating the top layer then put a guassian blur. then set it to soft glow. then it should look a lot better. experiment with that. :) and for the witch hunter robin one, try having the outer glow darker than the text color since th bg seems more dark .

well you can try having a outer glow with the red text to try to bring out the colors. :) also try to have a border.

for your sig. it looks good although maybe try to have the main text stick out more. Just dont increase the saturation any higher cuz that is very n00bish. haha. just remember making the text color brighter doesn't necessarily make it easier to see. :)

I'd have to go with [b]sakurasuka[/b]. I really like how the blk and wht contrast east other. I also love that line from the song. It's one of my only fav gundam seed songs. although i find the ^^^ lines don't fit very well with the image. it makes it look not as smooth and angelic as the stock seems to be conveying. Kune - the stock is really nice but the blue seems too bright to fit in the image since the image itself in greyscale is not in high contrast. There's also something that really bugs me about the flower with the random greyscaled parts. The text doesn't match with the image either. The stock makes it seem more of a peaceful kind of image.

Hm. I really like the grunginess of the piece but the text falls into the image to much and make it illegible. But the grunge is done very well. :)

I have to go with [b]Ezekiel[/b]. I definitely love how the sky changes colors from dark to light. The text also fits really well with the balloons. The clouds themselves are also very attractive. The render also fits really well. I can't spot anything to critisize about. ^^'

Well, basicly both don't really match the image. Mainly in the first image. The text color itself doesn't match very well with the bright blue. Try sticking with colors that are in the image itself or similar colors. :)

Not bad for the first time. Definitely not bad. For starters, the drop shadow for the text doesn't match the image at all. Also just try to increase the image quality of the stock. The picture is really pixelly. Try to keep it clean. :)

I hope the colors stay withing the palette. -I had to redo this one a few times to finally get it to look the way i wanted it to look. The painting is actually really good although i would try to smooth out his face and his shoulder/arm to make it seems more flowy like his blade. Overall very good piece. I especially love the detail on the zipper. I wouldn't have the patience to work on it on and off for 30 hours. =.= i praise you for that.

Um..I don't see the picture....

I really like the colors although where the two different colors clash, it needs to be blended together more smoothly. and try not to have the scanlines through the face. The main stock is also a but oversaturated but i'm loving the dashed border. overall a 8.5/10

I'm definitely loving it for its SasuNaru pairing.

wow. it really has been a while. and yea it was referenced...you know my style too well. haha. When I first drew this I was really surprised how alike I actually managed to get it to the manga image. Normally it would just look bad if I tried to draw this in my own style...which is actually kinda sad for me. I'm normally not a digital coloring type of do-er but I was just experimenting since I had the tablet and program. But I'm definitely sticking with tradtional type of art. :) nice to hear from you again.
