1. I need to know what the ending theme song is for the anime Witch Hunter Robin. Help! :(
2. I'm sitting here over-joyed at one of my biggest accomplishments ever. In exactly 4 months, I'll hold a bachelor's degree of communication focused in psychology and sociology. I'll be the first person in my family to finish college. How cool! So what are your accomplishments? What stands out in your minds as great achievements in your lives? :)
3. I love the smell...hate the taste. I dont' get it. However, I am addicted to caffine. First thing in the morning I go for a pepsi (or coke depending on what my mother's mood was when she went grocery shopping). I'm definitly an addict to that aspect of it. It'll likely be my death. Do I care? Not a bit :p
4. I don't think my favorite color has a name. I've seen one close called Steel Blue before...but it wasn't quite it. So I guess I'll have to try and describe it. Its the color of moon light on snow...or...the color of a Thunderstorm off in the distance...just as the sky starts to darken. That weird gray-blue color...I hope that makes some since. :D
5. I imagine someone will take that to court and the limiting of approved products will be found to be unconstitutional, since there's not a major demand on any of it. I'm 99% sure they're going to have to find another way to get at the druggies out there. :p You know there's something wrong with this world when you can't even buy meds for fear of a drug screening...
6. Well as far as the research end of this discussion goes, the most valuable and best understood communication happens between two people of similar experiences using both verbal, and nonverbal communication. In other words, a conversation between close friends face to face. That way you get all the verbal elements, and all the gestures and looks and tones that make up the non verbal elements. As far as the internet chat thing goes, I agree that you can tell how a person is feeling...but only after you've known them a long time. After you get to know a person, you pick up on all their scripting habits, and 9 times out of 10, a particular script equals a particular mood.
7. To me, people that talk monotone just completely turn me off. I can't listen to what they want to say, because I'm too busy being annoyed by their tone. Also, if people talk down to me, I'm definitly not afraid to ignore them, tell them about it, and or walk away. There's no need for anyone to put up with such prissyness. Finally, People that type without punctuation, and repeated grammar mis-use really bothers me. Hello? Pay attention in English class! It isn't hard at all! :p
8. Internet speech is actually one of the top studies in the communication field right now. I expect that, if I were to go on in college, I'd do my doctoral disertation on it. Wouldn't that be cool? You all could be my research subjects...heheehe....
9. You've hit my place in the world right on the head, darlin'. I'm a senior in college, and guess what my major is? Interpersonal Communication. It's quite the science actually. But I won't get into that just yet. Let me say that thru my college career, I've learned how to define communication in several forms, and I've also learned how to pick up on and identify what types people like to use. I, for instance, am an Audio-Visual Communicator. This means, I say what I want to say best in pictures, words, and other visual things, and I retain and learn best from seeing something done while hearing it explained. You show me how, I get it. I read how, I don't get it. Get it? :p I could go on and on with this topic, since it's now my life...but I'm sleepy. LOL
10. I live in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains in southern Ohio. Pretty much in the middle of nowhere. Here's a pic:
11. Just to bring you all up to date... My surgery was this morning. I went in at 9 and was out of it by 9:30 LOL. They only had to take 4 teeth, so that's a plus. However something I didn't expect was that they had to drill away some of my jawbone. OUCH! So yeah, I'm a little swollen right now :p. But I feel good...prolly the drugs. LOL. I'm eating now, so that's a plus. I was so hungry. heh. I didn't wake up from the surgery until 6pm. They carried my to the car, and then up to my room. I tried to stand and fell...it was rather comic. So that's what's up :)
12. I've always liked Mustangs. I probably always will. But for where I live, what I have is practical, and I love it. I'll show you: 2000 Ford Ranger 4x4 off road. The only thing I'd change is the color...but its good to, so:)
13. Another sad thing....9 out of 10 people I graduated with are either married, pregnant, or have a couple of kids. LOL. I'm like in a minority here! But I look at it this way. I can still enjoy whatever comes my way with no strings attatched.:)
14. I don't want to hear none of y'all complain unless you're my age (22) and never been kissed! :p I mean seriously...am I that unattractive? You guys have seen my picture in the picture forum...
15. Oh I'm not in a rush at all. There's been plenty of girls I liked...the feelings just aren't recipricated. I think I am going to move. LOL. All that's here for me is being stuck as the "cute friend I'd never date." I'm sure some of you know exactly what I'm talking about :)
