  1. i prefer manga, it's what i live on and anime is just an occasional happening.
  2. i've just started fushigi yugi the manga and i love it. i've got up to vol.6 but i can't get anymore in my area at the moment so i'm kinda stuck. i love Tasuki and Hotohori. i like Hotohori totally randomly for no reason whatsoever, but how could you not like Tasuki?
  3. i tend to read the manga of an anime before i watch the actual anime. i loved Fruits Basket from the get go and when i watched bits and pieces of the anime i loved it more. I also liked Tsubasa:RC and love the anime too, although personally i think it couldhave been better done. However there was only one that caught me straight from the first ep. without having read the manga and that was Card Captor Sakura. CCS was probably the first anime i'd ever watched before i knew really what anime or manga was, so it's kinda sentimental value too. 果物かご及びカード捕獲者佐倉の石 Rock on Furuba and CCS!
  4. i would love a manga life shop. The're pretty class. You basically are in animeland! you see they sell a massive range of anime/manga style clothes, etc and basically everything else you need.
  5. Look if you had to watch anime in a certian order i'd be sunk. I have next to no money so i can't buy anime, i have next to no t.v. so i can't watch anime alot. Do those factors reduce my love for anime? NO. I lend anime off my friends and i watch/buy whatever i can when i can. Saying you have to watch anime in a certain order is like putting a restraint on it. what fun is there to a passion if all choice and freedom is taken out of it? I'm not getting at those who enjoy watching the versions in a certain order because i personally would love to watch all the japanese first, if only to hear what they origionally sounded like. And hey, some moron earlier said you must do this and you must do that to be a real otaku. well **** them. you don't have to incorporate japanese into your everyday speech, although it is kaiwaii in SOME situations. I personally do incorporate it into my everyday lingo because i did so before i knew anime, my third language is japanese. So enjoy anime anyway you want or can!!!!! ^-^
  6. I don't know who'd mine'd be. i swear i just like any guy who'll treat me as rough as i'd probably treat him. so in that sense Gojyo from Saiyuki's for me but i'm open to suggestions. As for location a trip into Anime/Manga land would sufice for me! I'm not asking much, honestly!
  7. I don't remember what my first was. My family's very strict and so they frown upon Anime, like that stops me, so i didn't get to see one's like Inyuasha, Gundam etc. I think i saw sailor moon first and feel in love with the style. i didn't know what anime was back then(now look at me! ^_^) When Pokemon hit it big over here in N.ireland i got really into that and then Digimon. My passion for the genre went from there although now i'm into Akira, Vampire hunter D, all the classics really.
