I'm required to have about fifteen life drawings of people to send in, but I don't really have it made up yet. They only want me to send drawings of people, so I was wondering if I could just use photo reference to draw people or find a model? (which would be nearly impossible for me). Does anyone know the standard rule for this kind of thing? I think it would be kind of dumb to actually ask this question to the admissions reps now, so hopefully someone on here can help me. He walked carelessly down the familiar path towards the Merfolk Bay, but stopped when he noticed the sound of a creature being mutilated. He wasn't shocked, but the sudden noise startled him. He was relieved to see Brother emerge from the brush of the forest with a deer's body in hand. "There's food inside you know Brother, you didn't need to go off and kill something to eat," said Tiger Lily. Brother simply grinned and buried the creature's remains before going into the Food Hall. Tiger Lily didn't move until the surroundings were once again peaceful. When he arrived at the Merfolk Bay, he was disappointed to see that no merfolk were present. They were vicious creatures, but he enjoyed their company. With them he could share secrets and stories that he would reveal to no other being. They listened well, though their responses were odd. Tiger Lily climbed to the top of the rocky wall that overlooked the sea and lay down. He gazed at the moon, which was full, wondering silently who else in the world might be staring at it at the same time. It was the only way he could feel like part of the Earth. Normally he felt imprisoned everlastingly. The heavens made him feel free in a way. He enjoyed this. "Tiger Lily." The voice came from the bay. He sat up and looked down to see a single mermaid staring up at him. She was different than any he had seen before. Her face was beautiful, whereas the others were fishlike and gruesome. Her skin was smooth, not scaly, and her hair was soft and flowing. Her green eyes held his gaze like the stars. ?Come down here, Tiger Lily.? He was afraid to move, afraid it was a trap, but he couldn?t help himself. He climbed down the rocks slowly, feeling high and weightless. His gaze never left her eyes. She was smiling seductively, and he was now only ten feet from her reach. Before he reached her, though, someone yelled, ?Tiger Lily, stop!? He turned around to see Peter standing there, his hands on his bony hips. ?Peter. Wha-what is it?? He looked back to see that the mermaid was gone. ?Damn.? ?Tiger Lily, you were about to walk right off the edge of the rock into the Bay. What were you looking at?? ?The mermaid. Didn?t you see her?? Peter looked at him as if he were crazy. ?What mermaid? Are you okay?? Tiger Lily didn?t argue. He was sure of what he saw. There was no way he was hallucinating. It keeps you wanting more, and it's got plenty of action and character development. All Star Batman and Robin is also really good, and I'm thinking that's only because Frank Miller is writing it right now. If they ever replace him on it, I'd probably stop reading it. I also subscribe to Wizard magazine, which has lots of great news and information for collectors. My favorite comic writer is definitely Frank Miller. My favorite artists would have to be Jim Lee and Michael Turner. Their work is stunning in my opinion. One drawback of comic collecting is that it is quite expensive -_- Does anyone else collect comics? If so, what do you collect, and who are your favorite artists/writers? Gackt really enjoys the music of Mr. Children, so you should check them out if you want to hear really good JPop. Gazette, Kagrra, Glay, Pierrot, and Miyavi are all very good. So check those out. It was already five o'clock, and he had to go into the office at five thirty to have a video conference with his American Electric Power advisors. It was a gift from his brother, and his favorite of all his shirts. In the bathroom he brushed his hair, tied it back, and brushed his white teeth. He put on his cologne and left the house. He owned one car, a black Mercedes Benz, but he never drove it. People never saw it, for it was always kept in his garage. His method of travel was far easier than driving. As he walked out into the rain that was falling from slate gray clouds, he opened his mouth as he looked upward. He said something indistinguishable, and the rain ceased. Slowly the clouds departed from the atmosphere, and the sun was visible again. "Hmm, that's a little better," he said to himself before jumping a thousand feet into the heavens. Intense speed was second-nature to this god; his office was located an hour from his home, but he arrived there in less than a second. Most people would grow bored by such short flight, so of course he did not always fly this fast. Sometimes he would fly "slowly" above the mountains and rivers, enjoying the view for hours. When he landed at the AEP Greek office he immediately went inside and set up the video equipment. When he finally finished hooking things up, he turned on the monitor expecting to see his balding advisor from America, John. Instead, he saw a man with long, silver hair and very pale skin. And he noticed the man was without a shirt, which at first struck him as odd. The man looked rather serious, and Zeus finally realized who he was looking at. "Poseidon."[/SIZE][/COLOR]
