Well, it's sure been a long time since I was around here. Anyways, on to business. Horror manga- one of my favorite genres. From the gory to the psychological and suspenseful. [B]What are your favorites?[/B] I'm personally a big fan of Junji Ito. Uzumaki, Gyo, and Tomie are among my all-time favorite series. It amazes me how his characters can be so bland and lifelike, very normal in comparison to most anime/manga characters, but still successfully gets the reader to connect and care about them. The stories themselves are chilling, the artwork beautifully uninhibited. Franken Fran is a relatively new series, but again, one of my favorites and definitely worth a look if your sense of humor is not so straightforward. One I will say that I did not like that I read was Elfen Lied. It came off as more of a drama/action to me. I didn't find the storyline terribly original and I didn't care much about the characters. So after being told by countless fans to read this "great horror manga", I was rather disappointed in the end. I started taking tae kwon do as a kid, but ended up taking a very long break (6 years) from it. Just last summer I earned my black belt, and am currently close to earning my 1st degree. I took about a year of an MMA class that included jujitsu and muay thai, and we're actually learning nunchucks and bo staff in my class right now. I'd really love to try other styles too, but it's so hard to find much besides tae kwon do around my area. The only reason I took the others is because of on instructor at my school who's experienced in too many martial arts to count. That and how costly it is. x.x;

[COLOR=DarkOrange]Ignorant people annoy the hell out of me. They want to keep their "image" so they think they can only listen to certain types of music, certain bands, etc, and are usually the type of people who go along with what others say just so they're not looked down upon. They're afraid of having happen to them what they do to other people. They seriously need to get it through their thick skulls that just because they don't like (or pretend not to like) a certain style of music, that doesn't mean that it's crap. They're also the type of people who can't spell "opinion" :rolleyes: [/COLOR]

I ended up getting hooked to .hack//SIGN really fast. The plot seemed to abstract, and yet it made sense. [CENTER]I hate those really flirty girls that lead everyone on then just kinda turn and leave. Of course, I kinda feel awkward around guys, too. I mean, we could be having a nice conversation about sports or video games or somethin' of the sort, and the topic of hot girls will come up. I think they forget I'm a girl :animeswea I just like to hang out. I like to get to know people before I would ever even consider dating them. Friends can always be friends, but as soon as you become an 'item', everything can change. But what would I know? I've never had a boyfriend in my life XP[/CENTER]

[CENTER]I don't personally have anything against them. But my views are as follows: "Emo's" I have found, are usually just doing it to get attention. And it works. But in the process of making such a big deal out of small problems in their own lives, they are being neglegent about real problems others have that are actually important. I don't see why anyone would want to live depressed anyways. Being happy is so much more enjoyable! We all have our hardships, but those people would take action and stop trying to be the center of attention, things would be so much better for them. To all emo's: [COLOR=Red]Stop being so self centered and learn to enjoy life for what it is, not what it isn't![/COLOR] There are better ways. Sure, they may require a little bit of effort, but it's worth it :D[/CENTER] Lastly, I hate the term 'emo'. If it really does stand for 'emotional', doesn't that mean that anyone that feels emotions at all is emo? But yeah, I guess those people just mean depressed. But whatever XP

[CENTER][SIZE=2]Hmmmm. Lets see. Back when I was in eight grade in gym class we were playing soccer. I was the goalie of course. The one time I leaned down and grabbed the ball to pick it up, this boy in my class who didn't like me decided to kick my hand. Immediately after that we had to play this game where we would walk using our hands and feet, our backs to the floor (that's the best way I can describe it besides the 'crab walk'). My hand began to hurt like hell. A week or so later I found out it was broken ^^; And on numerous occasions I have gotten hit in the face with basketballs and lacrosse balls and hit really hard in the back of the head by soccer balls :animestun I also got these huge blood blisters on the bottom of my feet when playing basketball on hot asphault in bare feet. The skin was all loose and icky so I cut the skin off. Then I found out I had a lacrosse tournament and had to be on my skinless feet for hours at a time. Ouch. [/SIZE] [/CENTER]

[SIZE=2][CENTER]In elementary school we did the whole passing around valentines thing. Now that I'm older I don't do anything, really. Some of the traditions, though, sound really cute![/CENTER][/SIZE]

[SIZE=2][CENTER]Mostly I listen to rock, j-pop/rock, celtic, blues, bluegrass, new age, some classical, some pop, a few oldies, techno... Pretty much everything except heavy metal, rap (Gah! I hate rap!), and country.[/CENTER][/SIZE]

I love insects n' stuffs ^^ Especially spiders.

[CENTER]I love Naruto! But I find the anime a little disapopinting. Mostly because of the voice acting and how slow it's going! But I still watch it because despite that it is still an awesome anime ^^[/CENTER]

[COLOR=Orange][SIZE=2]It can be quite hard to describe myself... I have my really happy moments where I feel so determined, like I could do anything. But yet I'm alone and have very few friends. Then I have my really depressed times, questioning whether life is worth living or not, but no matter what I'm not one to just give up. But usually I'm spaced out daydreaming or have my nose stuck in a book. I'm also quite introverted and have a hard time trusting people and opening up to them. I also have my really evil moments. Physical appearance, I have shoulder length blond curly hair and blue eyes. I play a number of sports and am in relatively good shape, although still pale. I am definately a tomboy and can be really hot-headed. I hate really arrogant people and dress in what I think is comfortable or what I like, not styles. I can also be quite nieve, but I'm not stupid. Good luck with this one XP[/SIZE][/COLOR]
