Bad habits? Of course I've got them. pulling bits of skin off my fingers... not doing what i promise to do...webcomics-wise... forgetting things that i'm not supposed to forget...not for my life... procrastination... Hm, I might need to list this down...

Wow, this is a pretty cool looking topic. I'll try to contribute. "Zetsuboushita!" - Itoshiki Nozomu (Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei) I can't think of any more right now...except for the dreaded "Dattebayo!" by Naruto...

I'm interested. Is it okay if there's a mix of more than one classification? Don't worry, with my set-up, my character can't use two different abilities at the same time. I don't think he can count as two people. Hahaha. I hope this pushes through. EDIT: I don't know if you've noticed, but I made the Journal Entry longer, and somewhat better (or at least it would be plausible that the scientist people wouldn't suspect that he really does have a mental disorder. I don't know if they even care lol.) EDIT EDIT: A little note I forgot to put in the journal entry... Aside from analyzing what makes stuff, he can also calculate distances and dimensions without the need for calculators...or something like that. Name: John Quilt/Jack (Quilt) Age: 25 Gender: Male Appearance: He is of average height and build, has brown hair that's not too short and not too long, has skin that's neither pale nor tanned, and has dark golden brown eyes. Yeah, he's pretty much your average, next-door-neighbor-type guy when it comes to appearance. As for clothing, he says he favors nothing in particular, but he is fond of hoodies, cargo shorts, and sneakers. Weapon: a door handle that went loose somehow (if ever that's possible... either that, or a doctor's pen, or maybe a syringe...a used one) Classification: Brain (John)/Tracker (Jack) Disorder : He thinks that he might have split personality/dissociative identity disorder, but is not sure. He does talk to himself a lot (either by conversation or journal/diary entry), and refers to his "other self" as Jack. Journal entry: Jack, We're still here. It's been a long time ever since they've started keeping us here. I wonder what's become of our family... I hope they're not here. I wouldn't want them to go through what we're going through. It's like we're doomed to die either way. We either die from their experiments or we die from not complying. And now, they plan to test us... What if we fail? John John, Sorry if I can't seem to help us! Sure, they experimented on us and we gained freaking powers, but what can we do?! It would be okay if I'm like those so-called Hulks, or if you could move things with your mind! No, we only know where the exit is, but we can't even get there... Great. I'm hoping this test they're talking about would give us some opportunity to do something. And by the way, we know what became of our family. They're not here anymore. Jack *John looks at what they typed and erases it. They do know that the journal is to make sure that they stay sane, so John starts again.* Jack, It's another day of experiments again. I don't know how much I can take this. You're probably the only one I can "talk" to right now. Thanks for being there. As much as I would like to know all about this so-called Project Ra that's probably named by people who still can't get over Egyptian mythology, I can't. Not even with me being a Brain, or so this lady named Scarlet calls people who have abilities like mine. The scientists running this whole thing have found out I have an aptitude for analyzing the composition of things, an ability which requires me to have more than just visual input. Then they found out that i also sometimes have the ability to smell things from far away. But even with these two abilities, I can't read their minds or smell what they think. I, and probably the others, have noticed that our numbers are dwindling. As of now, if my calculations are correct, there are only six others. I wonder what happened? Does it have something to do with this test they're planning for us? I think the chances of being able to leave are minimal, but I would like to express my desire to go back home. I still know it's there. John
Do the guns.... talk? -Shy
Yeah, but with a sort of telepathy thing. Something about that is in one of the notes somewhere up there. Sorry if you can't find it.
ETA: I'd like to learn Korean someday. Ideally, knowing Japanese will help facilitate that somewhat....
I guess it will help somewhat, since their sentence structure is similar and there are some words with the same meaning that have almost the same pronunciation. Knowing Chinese helps with learning Japanese, I've found. Doesn't apply to me, though, since I don't know Chinese.

Hello. Uh, this is the first (and only) RP I've created (so far), but this is a sort of rehash. The original was in the WDX (World Domination X) forums. Nothing's changed from the original except maybe the flow of the story and the cast of characters. I hope to start a fresh RP soon... == I just hope this doesn't suck lol. ------------------------------------------------- Setting and Story: This is set in a world where guns have become sentient and are using humans in order to try and build a new order. Not all of the guns agree with this though, and they form a group opposing their fellow guns. This RPG is about the Gun Wars, the clashing of the two sides. ------------------------------------------------- Note Concerning the World of Playing With Fire: - this world is very, very fictional. and it's quite impossible even (in our world sense...) - different places can be modeled after different time periods (e.g. one place can be like England in the Middle Ages while another place can be like modern-day Japan) - basically, we, the ones who are in this RPG, make the world as we go along... when we introduce a new place, we give the name, and then a description - but if at some point we go back to a place already introduced, make sure the "time period" of the place is still consistent, unless something really drastic happened. *coughplacespecifictimemachinecough* - *if any other stuff come up, I'll add them here* ------------------------------------------------- Note Concerning Guns: - any kinda type of gun can be used (but don't make a supergun please... that's godmoding... although you CAN use a "futuristic" gun, like one with lasers...) - in the absurd world of Playing With Fire, Guns don't obviously look like guns. they take on a different object's form (hence "Form" in the character sheet... let your imagination go wild! hehe...) - the gun can transform to a more gun-like form if you want it that way - well, actually this is an idea for a comic and i thought of giving the guns a sort of human appearance thingy in the scenes when they talk to their humans...and so i gave them genders...hahaha... - *if any other stuff come up, I'll add them here* ------------------------------------------------- Note Concerning Humans: - if a Gun hasn't completely taken over his/her Human, then the Human still has the option of going against the Gun - a Human can be of any age, as long as he/she can still be able to handle a Gun - Humans need not really be "human"... at least, not in appearance - Humans aren't perfect and/or absurdly stereotypical... - *if any other stuff come up, I'll add them here* ------------------------------------------------- Note Concerning Gun-Human Relations: - usually Guns completely take over Humans, unless there's something preventing them, like strong will or something... - there can be male-male, female-female, male gun-female human, and female gun-male human pairs (well, those are probably the only possible ones... unless there are those with no distinct "gender") - Guns and their Humans can talk to each other through some sort of telepathy. Ordinary Humans can't overhear their conversations if they talk like this. - if a Gun wants to talk to an ordinary Human, he/she can use his/her Human to talk - Guns have a link to their Humans' brains so they always know whether their Humans are hungry, thirsty, going to pee, etc. - *if any other stuff come up, I'll add them here* ------------------------------------------------- Some Leftover Characters From My Comic/Fighting Game Idea: *you can use these if you want. if you're gonna use these, you can change some stuff if you want...* absurdly large fan laser cannon - performer in a Chinese circus psigun (a gun soul thingy using a telekinetic human to fire telekinetic bullets)??? - high school student high heel...gun... (can't think of a type...) - dancer gatling guitar case - traveling guitarist a toy gun that shoots acid (that doesn't melt the toy...o_O) - a grade school student ------------------------------------------------- Character Sheet *picture of Gun and wielder* Name: <- this is for the Gun Type: <- what kind of gun is it? Form: <- as said in the notes above, Guns are not gun in form, but rather take something else's form "Gender": Position: <- put here if your character is pro-Gun, pro-Human, or neutral Gun's Bio/Description: Human's Name/Age/Gender/Occupation: Human's Bio/Description: ------------------------------------------------- My Character... Okay, so these are merely concept sketches...nothing serious. I say that because I have difficulty drawing people in the middle of teenage years and adulthood. From left to right: Jacquel, Hayden's gun form, Hayden as he appears in Jacquel's mind Jacquel is not in his usual clothing here... I just drew it so there would be some sort of parallelism between Hayden and Jacquel. For Jacquel, just take away the top hat (or something), open the overcoat, and wear the tie on his inside clothing. It might look too warm, but he's from a rather cool/cold place, so there. Hayden looks like a hobo lol. He also kinda reminds me of the Earl of the Millenium (D.Gray-Man). Weird. Sketches/color reference??? Name: Hayden Type: rifle Form: a rather oversized black umbrella "Gender": male Position: pro-Human Gun's Bio/Description: He and Jacquel met each other in a store that sells umbrellas. He was abandoned by a Human who got scared of him and he was waiting for another Human to come to him and become his host. Jacquel, at that time, was doing his usual buy-an-umbrella-every-two-weeks thing and was looking for another unusual umbrella. He was found by Jacquel and, upon thinking he was a very unusual umbrella (black umbrellas are close to nil in this world), Jacquel attempted to take him off the rack thingy in order to check his price. But as soon as he was held by Jacquel, he made a link to his mind and told about his situation to him. Jacquel was reluctant at first but then agreed to be his Human. He thinks that Guns have no right to rebel against Humans because Humans made Guns to protect themselves. This is not really a conviction for him though, since he thinks that he might have thought this way because of his form, which is an umbrella, which is supposed to protect people. This is also the reason he is more of a defensive fighter than an offensive one. He has a tendency to want to be dominant but he still can't take over Jacquel's self. Because of this, Elline can't really tell that something about her brother has changed. Real can sense him though, and often bites him (the umbrella). His umbrella cloth can resist bullets (believe it or not) but not much cannon-type fire, and he can be opened for use as a shield. He has regular fire when closed, but has a beam-like cannon fire when open. Human's Name/Age/Gender/Occupation: Jacquel/24/male/tutor (heehee, Jacquel was 20 in the original, but I figured it was somehow too young...) Human's Bio/Description: He's a peace-loving young man whose last thing on his mind is to wield (or be wielded by) a Gun. He might be a bit timid, but he can be courageous when the situation calls for it. He doesn't have much experience with shooting, but he is surprisingly strong, as he can carry and use Hayden with only one hand (despite Hayden being supposed to be a two-handed weapon). He also knows a bit of fencing, in case he needs to engage in hand-to-hand combat. He has an older sister named Elline and a pet dog named Real, both of whom he cares for very much. He also has a penchant for collecting umbrellas, which led to his *unfortunate* meeting with Hayden. Alright! Let's get this thing going! ==

Well, Tagalog is my first language, and I got exposed to English via the media and school. And since I am in the Philippines, Spanish is a bit of a necessity when it comes to money and time. I also took Japanese classes, because foreign language was a requirement in my first course, which was Linguistics. I can write somewhat, but my speaking skills are way below par. Languages I am interested in learning: - Bicolano/Bikolano (because my mother speaks it and I can only understand it somewhat and not able to speak it) - Mandarin (because many people speak it...?) - Korean (because there are a lot of Koreans here in the Philippines, and I really would like to be able to read those signboards) - Italian (because I am doing this comic which concerns the Mafia, and I am sort of curious as to how some of the characters will say some of their lines)
It's a well-intentioned question, but unfortunately is very easily answered. The answer is always yes, since the answerer can always throw down the "people all have different values" card. That's all well and good, but it doesn't really make for good discussion. So I propose a related question: are there things or ideas?which you believe are supremely important and which others do not?where you cannot understand how these others can view these ideas so trivially? And bother scholastics.
Thanks for that... I kinda felt that question I asked was rather rhetorical...oh well... Haha, let's go with Allamorph's proposal then, shall we? =^_^=
Anime, and otakudom in general. My friends all make fun of me for being too much of an otaku and get pissed at all my anime spewing babble. Hell, even this site picks on me for being an otaku (they need to change the ****ing name of this site...). Anime is simply my way of life, and it's the same way for millions of other people out there (expecially in a certain other country) and there's no one on the outside who understands it. Everyone has their owwn way of hating it, from the douchebags who think culture integration is for fags to people who yap on about how retarded a 2d Complex is when they don't know the first thing about it. Otakudom is one of the most hated things one can have, regardless of where you live, only because most don't understand it. I'm glad, however, to have a friend who's a biger otaku than me, or I'd go crazy =_=
I get this too... I'm reminded of the time I applied for an anime/manga lovers organization. My dad was against it since it was just a special interest organization and he thought it much better for me to join either an academic org or something like that. Anyway, I ended up failing to join probably because I was so thrilled at the prospect of joining an anime org that I forgot to work for it. =^_^=

Hahaha... I make so many mistakes here... Anyway, I want to start the random questions again but in a new way of sorts... This time, I'll just post one question at a time, leaving room for discussion (I hope...) I won't be posting new questions regularly though. My time's gonna be as random as my questions! Here's my first question... Are there times when you consider something very important but other people think otherwise? For me, yes there are. Like drawing comics, for instance. I think it's important because it can be my way of expression and it can be my way of influencing others but some of the people I know think it's not important because for them, it's just scribbling stuff on paper and such.
-
Well, one time I was asked to think of random questions and I thought of 148...but I never got to ask them so I'm asking them now!!! Wahahaha! Try answering them all! 1.if you were to get a body part that is supposed to be exclusive to the opposite sex, what would it be? 2.do you think that cats and dogs were meant to fight? why? Why not? 3.what would you like to be, an angel or a demon? why? 4.if you were offered a chance to live forever, would you take it? why? 5.if you were to, by any chance, get a superpower, what would it be and what would you use it for? 6.if you were to pick your own zodiac sign, what would it be and why? 7.do you think logic is logical? why? 8.what do you think is the difference of sex and gender? (opinion only, without any reference from whatever) 9.what do you think is a tralala? why do you think so? 10.do you like fairy tales going all scary all of a sudden? why/why not? 11.which would you prefer to have, head lice or dandruff? why? 12.what do you think is your most useless body part? why? 13.do you think everyone deserves forgiveness? why/why not? 14.which event in your life do you think influenced you the most? 15.why do you think some people take drugs? 16.how would you feel if for example you have siblings and you are the oldest, then you have a broken family and you're the only one your siblings can trust? 17.what would you do if you found out you were to die tomorrow? 18.if someone did you wrong, would you take revenge? if yes, what kind of revenge would you do? 19.do you believe that people are innately good? why/why not? 20.let's say that you absolutely despise the opposite sex. what would you do if suddenly a huge number of those people you despise barge into your house and decide to live in it? 21.do you believe that nobody REALLY cares about their pets? why/why not? 22.do you think that falling in love with a person of the same sex is natural? why/why not? 23.let's say that you have only one parent left and someone killed your only parent, and then you find out that the killer is your long-lost sibling. what would you feel? what would you do about it? 24.if you were tasked to destroy the whole world, would you do it? if you would, how would you do it? 25.do you think there are such things as miracles? 26.if you were to be given an air vehicle, what would it be? 27.what would you do if you were a blood-allergic vampire? 28.are there times when you think you're the cause of all misfortune around you? 29.what would you do if you lived in a place where people die all of a sudden without any cause (just a stopping of the heart and such)? 30.do you think mentally ill people deserve to be locked up in a room all their life? 31.do you think that people can change if they want to? 32.why do you think there are dreams? 33.if there are such things as elves, fairies and dwarves, would you recognize them as such if you see them? 34.assuming that you do have a dream, how far would you go to reach that dream? 35.if you were able to switch places with someone, who would you switch with and why? 36.what would you do if you were tasked to look for a place that doesn't even appear in any map/has a location nobody knows about? would you still search for it? 37.define happiness. what makes you happy? 38.let's say that you're married already. in weddings, you make a certain vow wherein you say you'll never leave each other no matter what, right? would you keep that promise? 39.if you were to be a legendary/mythical canine, what kind of legendary/mythical canine would you be? why? 40.let's say that you are bored, and you make prank phone calls to pass the time. upon dialing one of those random phone numbers, a mysterious person answers, "Hello, *insert name*. I was expecting you would call right about now. I see you have a problem. Would you like to tell it to me?" What would your reaction be? 41.let's say you're a very famous mangaka, and you're starting to treat your job as work instead of fun like you used to do when you started drawing and such. then one night, as you're working on your latest manga, you get transported to the worlds of your early manga. there you meet your early (and probably unrefined) characters and they seem to remind you of the old days when you're not caught up with all those complicated stuff. after some time, you end up back in your room. what would you feel at that time? 42.you live in a world that is terrorized by strange and powerful creatures and you are the only one who can defeat them. let's say that there is only a certain number of them and you are currently looking for the last of those creatures. later on, you find out that you're the last one. what would you do? 43.let's say you're a wannabe superstar. you go to Hollywood and you find that nobody wants to support you. then you throw one of your performances on the street and someone finally seems to appreciate your talent. the person then introduces himself/herself as a manager looking for a star. he/she shows you a mysterious contract and says that if you sign the contract, you will become famous. would you sign the contract? 44.why do you think some people can't wait to grow up? 45.which of these would you rather believe: that life is like the movies or movies are like life? 46.do you believe that sometime in the future, robots will be able to feel human emotions? 47.of the four seasons found in countries in the temperate regions, which do you like the most and why? 48.there are some things people call the seven deadly sins. which of those is most personified by you? 49.let's say that you're a driver for hire. what would be your craziest driving job? 50.what would you feel if aliens somehow took over the world and you're the only human left? 51.let's say you're in the wild west and you're one of those outlaws. what would you do if someone came up to you and told you that the sheriff of one of the towns is dying and you're chosen as the replacement? 52.what would your reaction be if you came across a town that has holes everywhere? holes in the buildings, clothing, etc. 53.when do you get to spend quality time with your family? 54.what would you do if suddenly all of the trees and other plants in the world suddenly disappeared? 55.let's say that you're a really hardworking businessman/businesswoman. you work so hard that you don't have any time for yourself at all. then one day, when you wake up, you find yourself as a kid again, and you are in the house you lived in when you were with your parents. you go to the kitchen, and you see your mom cooking. you go to the living room and you see your dad reading the morning paper. you go outside, and you see your old neighborhood. how would you deal with this sort of situation? 56.do you think that there should be discrimination in the world? 57.which do you think is the best exercise for you? 58.if you were given the chance to go to any country in the world for free, where would you go and why? 59.which do you think is the weirdest language you?ve ever heard someone speak? 60.do you think the Nobel Prize is all that great? 61.which would you rather write: a report or a story? 62.what is the strangest introduction you?ve ever read/heard? 63.do you think love does have a definition? How Did You Come Up With Your Screenname?
Solayo replied to duorocks17's topic in General Discussion
As for me, I got my screenname (Solayo) from a character from a comic I'm working on (which I'm gonna be putting up in the fan manga section of MyO soon...) My MyO screenname (Lundeth) is also from a character in that same comic... If you're still wondering...: Solayo - from sol (sun) and bios (life) Lundeth - from luna (moon) and death (death, duh!!!) =^_^= -
Whoops. Sorry. I'll make sure I don't do that again. Thanks for the warning. ^_^

This is a story I've written when I didn't know much about good storytelling so please forgive me if something's wrong. This one has characters loosely based on Philippine monsters (or something like that.) Hope you like it. Chapter 1 Summer at Grandma's Our story begins in a peaceful village in the country of Pilines in the continent of Neoansia. It was summer. The school year is over, and almost everyone in the cities goes to the provinces to either go to the beach or visit relatives. One of the families from the city came to the province for a different reason. And this family was Sente's family. His family, well, can't really be called much of a family. Sente lives with his mother in Pilines while his father works in another country. You get the picture. Since his father doesn't really earn much, his mother decided to help by going to work in another country as well. So that means Sente is going to be left all alone, and that is where the story begins. "I'll be leaving now." Sente's mother said to Sente's grandmother. After that, Sente's mother said to Sente, "Good bye Sente! Be a good boy and don't make too much trouble for your grandmother you hear!" "Just go already! If you really don't want to leave him, then take him with you! You're going to be left behind by the tricycle if not the ship!" Sente's grandmother said to Sente's mother. With that said, Sente's mother rode on the tricycle and left for the docks. Sente's grandmother went inside and closed the front door. She then saw Sente standing in the living room. She said to him, "What are you doing standing there like a halfwit?! Sit down! You're not a stranger here, you know!" Sente sat down on one of the couches while his grandmother did the same. But then, a boy a little bit older than him rushed in through the back door. "Haluwan, you scared the wits out of me! I swear, if you do that one more time, I'm going to get a heart attack! Do you want me to die before you get to high school?!" Sente's grandmother said to the boy. "N-No. I-I'm very sorry. I just wanted to see your grandson, that's all." Haluwan said. "Why didn't you say so?! You could have saved me a lot of breath." said Sente's grandmother, "Haluwan, meet Sente. Sente, meet Haluwan. Now that you're introduced to each other, you can just play outside or something while I prepare some snacks." Sente and Haluwan went out to the backyard. "So, Sente, what do you want to do?" asked Haluwan. "I don't know. I'm still quite messed up after all of Grandma's shouting." Sente replied. Haluwan put his hand on Sente's shoulder and said, "Don't worry, you'll get used to it. Grandma might look a little cranky sometimes, but she's still okay." "Yeah, I guess so." Haluwan removed his hand from Sente's shoulder, thought about something for a while, and said, "Since you're new to this place and all, I might give you a tour. Would that be okay?" "Sure." And so the two of them went off outside the house. While they walked along, Haluwan showed Sente the people and the different places in the village. Hey, do any of you even read this stuff? Oh well, I'm continuing this one whether anyone reads it or not. ^_^ Chapter 2 Storytelling Sometime in the middle of their tour, they came across some other kids. They were having a storytelling session. One of them saw Haluwan and said, "Hey Haluwan! Would you like to tell a story?" "Yeah Haluwan! Tell a story! You know, like the ones you always tell." another one of them said. "Okay, okay." said Haluwan, "But what should I tell a story about?" "I know! Tell us the story about the aswang!" one of them excitedly said. "Oh come on. We read that story in class remember? I mean, you could just read it again from your books." Haluwan said. "I know that! It's just that, when you tell it, it somehow comes alive. It feels like it really happened." the one who suggested the topic said. Haluwan chuckled a bit and then said, "Since you put it that way, I'll tell it." The other kids (including Sente) clapped their hands. Some of them even cheered and whistled as Haluwan began to tell the story. "Once upon a time, there was a rich, young man whose favorite pastime was hunting..." Haluwan began. The young man in the story was invited by his friends to come to the province. There he decided to go to the forest to hunt. The elders there warned him not to go but he ignored their warning. The young man went to the forest anyway. When he saw the forest, he was amazed by the different kinds of plants and animals there. He was very delighted when he saw a group of animals that looked like it was having a meeting. He shot the animals one by one until he killed them all. Just then, he heard a voice saying that he must pay for his disrespect for the lives of animals. The voice then said that the spirits of the animals he killed will reside in his body and take over him when there's a full moon. The young man ran out of the forest, and while he was running, the voice said that when he dies, the curse will be passed on to his first child. When the young man got out, he was sent back immediately to his parents. From then on, a monster appeared in the light of the full moon. Many of the people who lived near where the young man's house was were frightened because many people were killed by it. The years passed and the young man got married and had a child. And then his secret was revealed. One night with a full moon, the young man's wife saw him turn into a monster. She saved their child by handing her over to the maid and telling them to escape while she fought the monster. The maid and the child ran away and the maid told the townspeople what was happening. The townspeople lost no time in hurrying to the mansion to help the young man's wife. But they were too late. They saw her being eaten up by the monster. They killed the monster and thought that that was the end of it. "But little do they know that the curse was passed on to the child." Haluwan said. Sente said to Haluwan, "Haluwan, can I tell the rest of the story? If that's okay with you." "Sure Sente! You sure you know the story?" "Of course. I wouldn't have volunteered to tell it if I didn't know it." "Alright, let's get on with it." Sente began, "Many years have passed since the incident and there was this woman named Nelia..." Nelia lived far away from the town where the incident took place. Her husband had recently died and she was pregnant. She has been living all alone ever since her husband died in a tragic accident. His lifeless body was found at the foot of the mountain where he picked fruits to sell. Many were puzzled by his death. His body was found bathing in its own blood. And what's more unusual was that no organs were left. Some said that it was eaten by wild animals, and some said that an aswang ate it. But not many people believed there was an aswang and so that thought was easily forgotten. One day, Nelia finally gave birth to a child. It was a beautiful and healthy girl. Nelia was very happy since the baby was the only thing she had. And she was quite glad since the baby had a striking resemblance to her husband. One night, Nelia heard a dog's howling. When she looked through the window to see what was happening, she saw the full moon. Her head suddenly hurt and her body suddenly felt stiff. She didn't know what happened afterwards. She just woke up with her clothes feeling wet. She then saw that her child was dead. The child's death was just like her husband's. Nelia blamed herself for what happened. If only she knew what happened then she could have saved her child. The next day the whole village knew about what happened. Now they knew that there was an aswang since it was the only one who could do this sort of thing. The men decided to patrol the area every night to prevent another incident. Thank goodness there were no victims after that. Four years passed and the incident was forgotten. Nelia still went on doing laundry. But unlike before, she doubled her efforts in order to forget the bad things that had happened in her life. Nelia became fond of the children and became especially fond of Tina, a four-year-old girl who reminded her of her own child. Tina was a sweet, obedient and prayerful child who was liked by everyone. Nelia treats her as if she were her own daughter. One day, the people were shocked by the coming of another disaster. One by one, children went missing. The men patrolled the area and looked for them but found no trace of them. Nelia worried about Tina's safety and so she reminded her to always be careful. One night, Tina slept, forgetting that she left the window of her room open. Out of the darkness, two fierce-looking eyes glowed. At the same time, the hand of the monster went nearer and nearer to the child through the open window. Tina woke up. She saw the hand of the monster and prayed immediately. Her father, who was going to her room to check on her, ran to her room and saw the monster as well. He thrust the itak (it's a large knife, if you don't know what the heck it is) he was holding into the monster while holding Tina who was crying in fear. The monster suddenly vanished. It disappeared into the darkness of the night. The next day, Tina and her father told everyone about what happened. Everyone admired Tina's father's courage. The people also believed that Tina's goodness and being prayerful saved them. From then on, the people made more effort to be good. They became prayerful and cared more for each other. After that, no more children went missing and life became peaceful again. A few days after the monster's last attack, the people saw Nelia lying in her hut, feeling ill. Her illness got worse and worse until she died. She was buried by her neighbors led by Tina's family. Time passed and modern living reached the village. The whole village was bought by a wealthy businessman and this was to be turned into a huge factory. The villagers left and looked for another place to live. While the bolldozer cleared the land, some of the workers found small bones under one of the huts. These were bones of children. The workers wondered why there were children's bones to be found under the hut. Since the villagers have already left, they will never know who owned the hut. "And the former villagers will never know that Nelia was the owner of the hut under which the bones were found... For Nelia was the child of the cursed young man. The curse has ended because Nelia had no more children to pass it to." Sente ended. "Great job Sente!" said Haluwan as he clapped his hands, "I couldn't have told it better myself." "Thanks Haluwan." "Good thing that story's over. It's making me hungry." Haluwan said, "I almost forgot! Guys, meet Sente. He's Grandma's real grandson. He's from the city and he'll be staying here for a while." The other kids said hi and Sente said hi as well. Little did everyone know that "a while" will last longer than they thought. Haluwan and Sente left the storytelling group and continued with the rest of their tour. I haven't finished typing the third chapter, but I have finshed writing the whole story in my notebook. I've been caught up in my comics. :animeswea

Chapter 2 "Good work, boys." a mysterious-looking man said to the twins, "You completed your task perfectly. You earned yourselves a good rest." "Thank you sir." Crio said. Pyo said nothing but went with Crio to their room. When they got to their room, Crio had another cough attack. This time it was a bit worse than the one in the mansion. Pyo helped him to the bed, and by the time they got there, the coughing has stopped. "Are you okay now?" asked Pyo, even though in his mind it was no use asking the question since he always gets the same answer. "Yes." Crio answered, just like Pyo had expected. They sat on the bed in silence for a while until Crio looked at Pyo and said, "How come you look like that? Do you have something on your mind that's troubling you?" Pyo remained silent, took off his shoes and socks, lied on the bed, and pretended to go to sleep. Crio took off his shoes and socks as well. After that, he turned off the light and went to bed. The two of them faced away from each other. Neither of them knew that both of them were crying. Tears fell from their eyes in silence. And in silence they eventually slept. How did these two come into such a predicament? Boys so young, working as assassins. Of course, there's a reason behind everything... Pyo and Crio were ordinary boys living ordinary lives once. That is, until that day came. It was a late sunny afternoon, and they had just arrived home from school. But instead of seeing any of their parents, they saw a letter saying that their parents had been taken hostage and that they should go to the place where they were to meet, without anybody else with them. The note didn't say anything about money, which was quite odd for a ransom note, so they agreed to follow what it said, thinking it might be someone's idea of a joke or someone's bluff. They had arrived at the meeting place and there they saw their parents tied up. A mysterious man appeared and the twins asked him what he wanted with them. The man said that they were special and he needed them to join him. The twins refused at first, but had no choice but to agree when the man said he will kill their parents if they didn't comply. After all, what loving child would allow his or her parents to die so early in his or her life? Until now, the boys are still doing the man's bidding, hoping that someday he'll let them all go.

This is a story that I thought up in my free time and would like to post here. I'm going to post it by chapters so it won't get too long. Hope you like it. Two people ran for their lives in the darkness of the night. Other unrecognizable people followed after them, carrying guns. Minutes later, gunshots were heard firing in the distance. After that, there was silence. Chapter 1 It was a typical rich man's party. A party in a huge mansion, with lots of food, with lots of rich guests. Outside the mansion, there was a very long line. A guard checked if the people going in were in the list of invited guests. If not, he would kick them out. Twin brothers were now at the front of the line. One had scarlet hair and crimson eyes, while the other one had dark cerulean hair and night blue eyes. They were both wearing t-shirts and vests containing a logo with the name, "Buster Video Service". The twin with the blue hair and eyes had a videocam and wore glasses. He also looked paler than the other twin. "Who would you be?" asked the guard. "Isn't it obvious? We're the video service your boss hired." said the one with the blue hair and eyes. "Lessee here..." the guard said as he went over the list, "Oh, here you are! Buster Video, right? Yup, you're here." "Thank you." the one with the red hair and eyes said. The two of them were about to go inside when the guard stopped them and said, "Lemme ask you somethin'. Aren't you two too young for this kinda thing?" "Well..." said the one with the red hair and eyes while trying to think up a reason. "We're substitutes." the one with the blue hair and eyes said, "The ones who were supposed to come here are sick. Nobody else wanted to do the job so we volunteered to do it. We already did our homework, it's a Saturday, and our parents know that we'll be out late." "Alright, you can go in." the guard said, "You look like good kids." After that, they went on in. "Hey Crio, the guard said we look like good kids." the one with the red hair and eyes said to his brother, "Do you think...we'll ever be good?" "I don't know, Pyo. Maybe not." Crio said. "Oh." Pyo muttered. A little bit later, Crio started coughing. "Are you alright?" Pyo said while trying to ease Crio's condition. Crio had stopped coughing but he's now leaning against the wall and breathing like he came out of a room with no air. "I'm...fine." he said between breaths. Pyo looked sad, worried, and somewhat angry at the same time. He said to Crio, "You always say that. But every time you do, I get worried." Crio didn't say a word and went on to the huge dining room as if he didn't hear his brother say anything. Pyo followed him. The room was full of people. Crio and Pyo pushed through the crowd, with Crio looking through the videocam. At last, the two of them got to the front of the stage where the host was going to make his speech. The host went up the stage and started talking. "Good evening, ladies and gentlemen! How are you? Are you all enjoying the party? I hope you do!" he said on the microphone. While the host was talking, Crio pointed his videocam at the host. He pushed a button and a dart shot out of the videocam and and hit the host on the neck. The other guests didn't notice the dart coming out of the "videocam" but saw the host suddenly lying on the ground. Most of them went over to see what had happened while the others, their fun spoiled by the unexpected event, went on their way out of the mansion. Crio and Pyo went with them, unnoticed.
