"What happened? I want to know everything!" Neko said.

"What was the other one? I need to know," Neko replied.

Hekilu walked out on Neko and she fell down crying. "Why did he leave me alive?" she asked herself. Slowly the peices of the puzzle began to fit together and she smile donce she understood. "I gotta go tell the others!" She ran out the door and met up with everyone else. "Ishiko...."

I have to admit, i do get jelous of my friends. Most of them have such a better life than me. But i try to make it better for them. Someone has to have it better. And they deserve it more than i do. I don't know why, just that they do. I don't want them making the same mistakes. I guess you could say that i'm jelous of them because they have someone (me) who's got their back all the time, no matter what i don't.

"He talked. That's a good sign," Neko said. "This means he's stronger than he seems. We have more time than i thought." "How much more time?" Nicolisa asked. "An extra hour to an hour and a half. We still need to hurry though."

Neko's heart quickened. She was alone with Hekilu and her back and shoulder hurt like hell. "What ow do you want with me?" she said with a tome of pain and anger in her voice. "Just tell me for once!"

She grabbed her sword and like Ishiko's, it also glowed. Not of blue and red, but of pure white. Hekilu was blinded for a quick moment and Neko attacked. She slashed his stomach and pushed him to the ground with her sword pointed at his throat. "How...how did you do that?" Hekilu gasped. "Not important. What's important is that i want to know why the hell you've been following me!" Hekilu laughed and coughed. "WHY?!" she screamed, her eyes flashing and her cheeks glowing a bright red from her frustration.

Neko arrived at the town. She climbed over the now closed gate and jumped onto a pool of orcs trying to break in. "Good thing i came, they're half way through the gate already!" she said to her said. She immeadantly began to slash through the orcs. An arrow caught her in the legs, but it wasn't deep and she was able to keep moving. As she killed orcs, more came and took their place. It became clear to her that if something doesn't change, she wasn't going to make. "Oh well," She said to herself as she was fighting. "I've lived a good, not long, but good life. I'll die knowing that i at least tried." Another arrow came and caught her in the hip. She winced from pain but kept on fighting.

The only thing that is keeping them alive is hope, hope for vengeance and hope that the world will return to its former glory. A leader had risen from the handful of these people left and her name is Neko. She has assembled a small army and is leading attacks against the Global Unity Keepers, or GUK. She often has nightmares of times she had with her parents but doesn't believe they're real memories. She has held a grudge against her parents and wants to meet them so that she can teach them how it feels to be left alone for years. Her skills with a sword are partly hereditary and partly because she has had to survive on her own with only a sword for years. She couldn't get enough money for food and soon died of starvation. Neko stood, still clutching her shoulder. "No," she replied. "I'll get hekilu, you guys just get Ishiko to safety." "But...." Meroka said. "Don't worry, I can handle myself." "What about your shoulder?" "I said i can handle myself! Get Ishiko out of here before it's too late!" Meroka and Keroku recluctently did as she said. "Hey guys," Neko called after them before they left. "It's nothing personal, I just have to do this on my own. I have to figure out why Hekilu's after me."

Neko tried her best to follow them, but she couldn't. She kept thinking of all the innocent people that woudl die if the orcs broke through the gate. She had to do something, and quick. She slwoly fell to the back of the group so her leave would go unnoticed. She quickly whispered into her horse's ear and rode back into town. [I]Sorry Vincent,[/I] she thought. "Ishiko!" neko yelled, still clutching her shoulder. She ran over to her. "Are you..." Neko didn't have time to finsh before hekilu jumped back threw the window. "Nice job sis," He said. "That one actually some what hurt a bit!" He flashed a smile at Neko who was on the floor again. "Why....why are you following me?!" she screamed at him.

Neko didn't have time to search for any recruits before Vincent rode up to her and told her about the orcs. She quickly rode to eveyrone else and told them. "Hurry! we've gotta to get going!" She said to them and she unseathed her sword.

Neko's eye twitched. She clutched her shoulder and fell down ontot her knees. "He's.....he's here," she said, panting from pain.

"Well," Neko replied. "We should hurry up and get anyone we can find and meet up with the others. I don't like being seperated for too long."

Neko nodded. It was probably the only way they would be able to save him. She grabed her sword and held onto it. If he was leaving, then they would have to be very careful.

Neko was still had a bit of a hangover, but she tried to work through it. She quickly got the horses set up at the stables and waited for Dalanius and Ceyla. When they arived, hse slowly got up onto her horse.

"What do you do at a dinner party? I've never been to one," Neko admited and blushed.

"It's......" Neko was speechless. She had never seen a dress like this before.

Neko woke up later than usual the next morning with a big headache. "Ow...." She said as she rolled over. "What happened?" She slowly got up and blinked slowly. She walked over to her bag and grabbed some herbs to help with her headache. "That's better," She said to herself after she swallowed them. She got dressed and walked outside to find everyone waiting for her.
