1. I guess it just depends how you measure maturity...If you have a lower basis of measuring I probably have the maturity of a six year old; if you have a higher level of measuring I more then likely act like a four year old...but a very mature four year old
2. When it comes to anime, I guess I prefer watching dubs. I tend to watch them first, and if the anime really interests me I'll watch the subbed version to see what I may have missed in translation I missed. In live action movies, I hate witching dubbed versions, especially when it is a drama...a pretty much stick to subs in that genre...
3. Sorry about letting this go on for so long...unfortunatly my home computer died so I have only been able to access the boards through work...anyway, here is the picture
4. I just finished watching Knockin on Heaven's Door: Cowboy Bebop the Movie, about thirty minutes ago on my lunch break. It was a great movie, it delivered everything that I expected it to. The action scenes were well done, the animation was breathtaking, the story line was fast paced and captivating, and, of course the music rocked...
5.
Originally posted by cowboytai wait when is cowboy bebop showing
\ I don't believe that it is showing right now. I don't understand why so many of you are angry over the changes that CN has made. They repeated Trigun and Cowboy Bebop 9 billion times, I think it is good that they are airing some other shows. From now on please keep spam and pointless flaming in this thread to a minimum.
6. The comic style cinematography was something that I also enjoyed...at first I thought it was odd for an action flick, but as the movie progressed, I thought it lended a comic book feel to the movie. Another aspect I liked was the cameo with Stan Lee and Lou Ferigno.
7.
Originally posted by Boogiepop i would probally watch reign except for one thing THE MAN THONGS i dont swing that way
That is the dumbest reason I have ever heard for not watching a telvision show...dumbest ever By the way, I know that you are new to the message boards, but please put some more effort into your posts.
Originally posted by Devilmen I did not like rign:the conqueror after see it four time you what try out your eyes!
I have absolutly no idea what you intended to write, nor do I care. Next time, please put a little more thought and effort into your post ~HC, your friendly (yet bewildered at how many members can destroy a perfectly good topic) neighborhood mod
8. Well, I saw the Hulk last night and I wasn't very impressed. The story line was well done, but it wasn't interesting enough to keep me on the edge of my seat. I thought that the CGI was incredible, and it was interesting watching the Hulk's various emotions...especially around Betty. The acting was OK, but the plot was too long and drawn out. The movie is worth renting, but I definatly wouldn't pay theater prices to see it again.
9. addiction illuminated green my fingers bleed forming streams that pool upon sunburst the strings echo a distorted opera as my digits slide lubricated by crimson the song is not the same as the one in my mind but it is so near and I play through the pain and imaginary applause
10. Well, my town house is my "secret place" I guess...although everyone I know knows where it is
11. Worry about getting good at one instrument first...however, singing is a plus. Despite what people say, don't worry about sucking. You always suck at first, only experience and practice make things otherwise.
12. It really isn't very complicated. My only advice for you is to play with as many people as possible, as much as possible. Experience is what it is all about...I would just create a band with friends at first... When you get a little more comfortable, try and play with people that have different musical tastes than you...that is what I wish I had done more of. It helps keep your sound original instead of imatative.
13. I have never been to fond of Shonen Jump...although I am not very fond of Manga either (with the exception of Akira). I always thought that American comics (Batman, Spiderman, ect) were far superior in nearly every aspect. But that is just my opinion...
14. I've always had a great amount of respect for you, and, now I have even more. I am sure it is very akward trying to predict how friends and family members will react, however, I appreciate that you feel that you can be honest and open with us...thank you for sharing such a personal part of your life with us. Good luck, ~HC
15. Some little things that I enjoy: 1. The smell of a woman's hair right after it has been washed...One of my old girlfriends had an incredible head of honey-blonde hair, and it always smelled amazing... 2. Fresh spices...I have a little spice garden at my house, food just tastes better with fresh ingredients. 3. Cold Mornings, hot showers...I love getting out of a hot shower in the winter time because the cold air immediatly wakes me up 4. The glance...just that quick little flickering acknowledgement that you get when someone of the opposite sex (or the same sex...I'm flattered either way actually) is checking you out
16. false perception effortlessly or so they say is how I achieve my aspirations as I grasp for the peak of every mountain effortlessly or so they say is how things come so naturally when I seize opportunity and make it my own effortlessly or so they say is how I make all my decisions delicately weighing every outcome if it is as effortless as they say why am I so damn tired at the end of the day?
17. As I have said before, I think it would be nice to have default text, font, and size settings that one could access from his or her profile. I am against sound bytes, because I think they will be insanly annoying, and I think that they would end up being the cause of a lot of tech problems in the future. I also agree with Semjaza...I think that all of the console forums should be combined to help boost the gaming forum's popularity.
18. There is another thread that you can discuss this topic in. Closed ~HC, your friendly neighborhood mod... I merged the threads for you guys because I feel like she made a very good point that can be further discussed. *Queen Asuki*
19. vertigo forgotten memories haunt my dreams a lack of recollection divided by my screams I see all these faces that I no longer know time passes quickly yet fear fades slow and now progressive hopeless moons have mirrored illusions of impending doom.
20. I know that you are the "evil anime reviewer that is striking again" but you can strike again in your previous thread...from now on keep all of your reviews in this thread. Thanks ~HC ps...why are you an evil anime reviewer?
21. I work about 50 hours a week, 5-6 days a week (normally)...so I would love a 4 day/ 40 hour work week. I don't think it is in the cards though, unless I want to take a massive paycut. I don't think it would really work though, because most people expect businesses to be open 5 days a week...I can understand it in the radio business, which operates 24/7, but if you are providing services to the general consummer, then you need to be available as much as possible.
22. I tend to catagorize music into three genres: Music that I like due to instrumentals, Music that I like due to lyrics, and music that is friggin' awesome all around... Weezer is one of those bands that I tend to stick in the "lyrics" catagory, even though they have pretty solid instrumentals. They do a really good job of telling stories with their music (especially in Pinkerton). I thought that their lyrical strength decreased slightly with the Green Album, however, I thought they made up for it by improving quite a bit instumentally. Overall, I think the band is pretty decent...they aren't extraordinary...but they definatly deserve their fame and popularity.
23. Although Leno has some incredible monologues, I am in agreement with the majority of the board...Conan Rules! His segments are hilarious, he has to have one of the most unique writing staffs of all time because his jokes range from witty tales to stupid, goofy fart jokes... I also really enjoy his interviews, he tends to bring out the funny side in most of his guests.
24. Personally, I have been trying to cut back on beer consumption, and I found a good way to kick the craving that worms in when I am lounging lazily on my couch...I joined a 24 hour gym. If I have the urge to go party, I go to the gym and work out until I am too tired to do anything but sleep. It has helped me save a load of money...and I've put a good dent into my little belly...
25. Uhm, well I am not sure what happened but bye Seph. Take care, I wish you and your family the best...
