OOC: Sorry Krillen, I usually don't mess with other peoples charecters, but you set yourself up real good...but don't worry you charecter is stronger then mine in all aspects but intelligence...so feel free to pummel him once if you'd like:D _________________________________________________ Night arrives at Dende's lookout just in time to see the escalating argument between Mako and Piccallo. Mako powers up. *Wow, Night thinks, he is pretty strong*. Night then looks at Piccallo, *but he doesn't stand a chance just look at his adversary. That green man is not the least bit impressed*. Mako charges at Piccallo. The instant he is about to hit him, the namek powers up slightly. The sight is impressive. Everyone watching struggles to keep there foothold. Mako is nearly thrown off the lookout. Piccallo- You are not near ready to fight me. As a Saiya-jin you do possess the ability to far exceed my power. But you have not yet even begun to understand your capabilities. Mako- Just shut the hell up...your about to get the beating of your life!!! Piccallo splits himself into three forms. Piccallo-If you want to fight, I'll give you a fight, but just one of my tri-forms is enough to beat you... Two of the Piccallos sit back down and begin munching on the chips. The other one gets in a fighting stance. Mako attacks, *his power is incredible, thinks Night, He is stronger then I am...but I still don't think he can beat just one of that green guys duplicates*, Piccallo counters and Mako parries, this goes on for a couple moves until Piccallo lands a knee to Mako's stomach. With that one move the fight is over. Mako lies gasping on the ground...the third Piccallo sits on the ground and begins to eat chips with the other two. Night *thinking*- Wow that triplicate move was neat looking, I think I'll try it...Night splits into two and then three...Wow this is neat but we are now much weaker. This would be helpful for training though...

I believe that the greatest right that US citizens have is the right to verbally disagree with government policies and publicly express our distaste for certian actions that the government takes. If this means that you don't wish to recite the pledge of alliegence in school because you don't agree with pledging your alleigence openly to the public then you should not be forced to do so. Don't think me unpatriotic for saying this...It is my beliefe that by recognizing these rights, US citizens are actually supporting our way of government. By being a citizen of the US you are given certian liberties and responsibilities. As long as you are utilizing your liberties without infringing on anyone elses rights (for example, it is all right to not say the pledge of alleigence, it is not alright to prevent others from saying it) you are enjoying one of the freedoms that the founders of this country supported, and that actually makes it a patriotic gesture by you utilizing your civil liberties...

OOC: looks like I'm a little late joining in Oh well.... ___________________________ A Meteor speeds near earth and is sucked in by its gravitational pull. Burning up in the atmosphere, all that is left of the meteor is a small capsule. It smashes into the earth witha tremedous impact but remains undamaged. The door to the capsule opens and a young man falls out. He lands on the ground outside of the capsule and gets to his feet. He walks to the capsule but before he gets to it he falls back to his knees and begins to weep. His planet, his people, all are dead. The grief turns to anger and the young man screams. He is engulfed by energy that explodes out ward. The exertion is too much for him and he passes back out. Later, the young man regains his consciousness and wonders over to his pod. To him only one night has passed since his homeworld was destroyed. He looks at the counter in the pod...nearly 7000 years have passed!!! Night- "sighs" So much time has passed since that terrible day. I will never have the opportunity to avenge my homeplanet. However, this is now my home, and I shall protect it as such. Night looks at the sky, he senses the evil approaching, he also senses others, all as strong as him...

He was innovative in Grunge music, but definatly not its founder..I think I would give that accomplishment to Sonic Youth. What Kurt Cobain did do was add a pop influence to Grunge music making it more main stream. I think if Nirvana hadn't existed, however, bands such as Pearl Jam and Alice n Chains would have kept grunge mainstream. But i do agree that if you don't like nirvana you should be shot...

Have u ever gotten the police called on u?
Heaven's Cloud replied to stardust's topic in General Discussion
I've had the cops called on me four times. Twice by my old neighbor for noise violations. Both occuring early in the afternoon around 2 o'clock. I also got them called on me twice for parties... but by then I had always left my apartment and my roomates have had to suffer the polices fury... -
I've seen it before. They used to play reruns of it an Dark Shadows on a local Cable station when I lived in DC. The show wasn't bad but it was terribly confusing at times. Unfortunatly the best thing to come from the show was the Simpsons episode. "Its really not such a bad place once you get used to the gassing..."Marge Simpson *evil Koala wearing sunglasses comes on the screen, removes them and gasses the Otaku*

A very deep psychological question...
Heaven's Cloud replied to Alexander's topic in General Discussion
I would like to say I don't care what a person is like, no matter their ethnicity or sexual orientation, however, if my best friend were to tell me was a homosexual, I would first laugh thinking that it was a joke, then I would have a coronary. But that is only because my best friend is the antithesis of the stereotypical gay male, and he really enjoys slobering over girls. But lets say my best friend was the normal average "joe" and said that he was gay. I wouldn't stop being his friend, we wouldn't stop being best freiends more then likely, there would just be a bit of akwardness at both ends for a little while, then everything would probably go back to normal. -
*Looks at the Beamer then looks at his own car :bawl: :bawl: :bawl: * I have an obsession with cars, especially old chevy Impala's...but If somebody was to, say give me a Beamer, I wouldn't be at al upset.

Xander-Looks at Ash and breaks into laughter, laughter that is soon joined by Ash's own Valeigh-Gosh those two are a couple fools. Lupus-No kidding The warriors search for food. It looks as though Xander and Ash have made up for now. Both the young man and the Ancient elf are walking around swapping jokes...

Night glides down the side of the cliff. He is glad that Selen and Gernome are both so light, his arms feel worn down from the strain of the last few days. He gently puts the two on the ground. He watches as Iris nimbly lands on the ground near him. Mike gets off Iris's back. Mike-You gonna pick up any one else night? Night-Iris and Rev are coming back with the rest of them. I am going to fly up and take a look around. I want to see what kind of terrain we have to deal with and see if there is anywhere we can take the boy to...

Well its odd. I guess I lie on quite a regular basis, or at least when I feel the need to. I don't lie at all why I chatting on the computer though. I guess I find it my last escape from the tedium that the real world presents. In Social situations in the real world sometimes it is almost necassary to lie (I should say it is instead of almost because while a person can go through life without lying it would be hard to do it without telling half-truths). However, I find lying on the internet disgusting...because no one forces you to talk on the internet. If you don't want to awnser the truth on the net stop typing...there are no consequences. Well that is the end of my rant...

Well I think we are eveoving as a planet, or at least as certian nations. Technology has eveolved do to the advances in our own mental capacity. People in general have gotten taller on average then they used to be, actually I can think of tons of examples, but I am not going to be tedious and write them all down.

Night heard the others running behind him. He was concerend... Night- Did something happen? Mike- Nah, we thought we would help you scout for an exit, it was getting kinda stuffy there anyway. Night- Is the child alright?? Chole- He is still out cold, but, with a little luck he'll be okay. Iris- Have you found any possibilities. Night- I think I hear water in the caves. Hopefully there is an underwater river in this cave. Chole- That would be great, but it may be difficult to navigate the river, the rapids can be pretty intense... Mike- Well we have to find the river first

Everywhere they go there is death. It seems that the slaughter was unbiased. Women, Men, Children, and the Elderly, all are strewn togther. The death seems so absolute in this town...it seems as if there are no survivors. There are tracks in the dust where families had been drug out of hiding only to be slaughtered like chattle. The effort that the town made to stop these creatures wasn't valiante, just pointless. Xander- I am not sure if it was an illusion. Maybe it was a glimmer of a past battle, or a glimpse of things to come. Ash-Well you seem to have all the awnsers, which was it...huh, I think you know more then you are letting on. Xander-I know nothing more then you do, I'm only telling you what i feel. Those demons could have been real for all I know. Ash-Yeah well your boring the hell out of me. I'd cut off your head If I thought it would make you shut up, but I bet your decapitated head would keep boring me. Xander-It is too bad that your sword isn't as sharp as your tounge, you might have made a decent warrior...but right now i have no time to listen to your whineing we have to figure out what to do now.

Right Now I think it is better not to have a philosophy on life and existence. Oh wait, that is a philosophy. Okay here is my philosophy for the given moment...This is subject to vary at anytime past present or future, depending on how you respect time (or if you respect it at all, personally I don't care for time much, it has never done anything good for me)... My philosophy is The only thing that is certian is contradiction. Wow that sounds like the inside of a fortune cookie.

What are your thoughts on what happened?
Heaven's Cloud replied to Darkness's topic in General Discussion
Those religious fanatics do the darndest things don't they. Well, Velevet Paws said earlier "Books Can Be Dangerous." The only way a book is dangerous is if it is heavy and falls on you from a tremendous height. It isn't the books that are dangerous, it is the people who form moronic ideas after reading a book that are dangerous. The problem is that some people can't think for themselves responsibly. -
Just hit her with a bat, the she'll know how you feel about her. Or you could try to work it out. Or you could do what I would do, pretend that she doesn't exist, and when she tries to talk to you act like she isn't there. Thats what I'd do, no wait, thats what people do to me :bawl:
