[color="#9932CC"][font="Microsoft Sans Serif"][b]Chrono Crusade[/b] started airing on Syfy this past Tuesday, which I am going to be watching, as I've wanted to see it for years. Too early to really judge, but I've reached a bit of a problem with Rosette -- character-wise, I already love her to death...but her English voice is the first one in a long time that I really just do not like -- and I am the furthest thing from a sub snob. I'm sure it'll get better as the series wears on, since it was just the first two episodes, but...augh. The fact that she was prone to screaming a lot did NOT help. And out of left-field comes [b]Sasameki Koto[/b]. I've been running into this series a lot on TV Tropes lately, and while I am no yuri fan by any means, I'm enjoying this a lot. I'm three episodes in, and I really like the feeling and atmosphere - not too heavy, but not too light, either. The characters are all also really endearing so far as well, which is what has me hooked. Oh, and the music is [i]really[/i] nice, too. Really pretty and relaxing.[/font][/color]

I've beaten Arcade mode with all the Capcom characters I wanted to beat it with, now I'm gonna focus on Marvel's side before I have to take it back tomorrow. Oh, and it's also gotten me interested in Devil May Cry, more interested in Darkstalkers, and makes me mad that my memory card and Okami do not compute. Mergh. And it's making me want to play Megaman Legends...[i]again[/i]. Oh well, I'm always up for more MML, so. I also suddenly decided to play some [b]Mario Party[/b] games, and nearly burned my eyes out on Piece Out. So many brightly colored blocks...but now I wanna play it again, so sdjdksdadasdas. Friggin' addicting puzzle games.[/font][/color]

I have never played the other games in the series before and mainly wanted to play it for Tron Bonne [as I am a huge Megaman Legends fan], so I decided to give it a shot. I must say, as a newbie to the series, I'm rather enjoying it so far. I like the idea of rotating through three characters, and beating the snot out of everyone is just a boatload of fun for me. I'm still waggling along on picking my mains, but right now it looks like Morrigan, Dante, and my girl Tron are going to be my top three. I've been mainly sticking to Capcom characters for right now [if I've not played the games they're in, then I'm at least familiar with them; I've never read a Marvel comic in my life], though I'll slowly edge out to Marvel's roster eventually. Incidentally, as I said, I mainly checked this out for the MML love, but it's made me want to check out other games being represented here as well, mainly Darkstalkers [which I've played briefly] and Devil May Cry [which I've only seen played]. Though I'm also mad because Amaterasu in here makes me wish Okami liked my memory card. >( [She's also become one of my favorites in here, too, by the way.][/font][/color]

I hate it when I'm on the computer, and people are RIGHT SQUARE BEHIND ME, or sitting right next to me, watching every last thing I do. See, I have 2-3 hour breaks every day between classes at school, so naturally, I bring my computer to pass the time. I could always go to the library, I suppose [and I do sometimes], but I enjoy being in the cafeteria, that way I'm within decent walking distance to go get something to eat. Sometimes my friends and acquaintances come out talk to me, which is fine. HOWEVER, some of them have this bad tendency to sit RIGHT NEXT TO ME and stare at EVERY THING I DO while I'm online. That alone is bad enough, but then they make commentary on it. "WHAT'S THAT?", "GO BACK TO THAT PAGE I WANNA LOOK AT THAT", or variations thereof. Look, nothing I look up is any weirder than your fandoms, especially when I've told you more than once to stop leering over my shoulder, so don't get all upset when I tell you to stop. 8| I guess I just have some kind of problem with people being directly behind me, and I couldn't tell you why. It's not like I feel intimidated [I'm actually taller than the average female], so I guess I just hate the idea of someone breathing down my neck. Ghh.[/font][/color]

I acknowledge its achievements and respect its fans, but I just couldn't get into it. It bored me. I watched one episode some months ago, and it didn't do a whole lot for me. To my credit, I [i]am[/i] interested in other Precure series [such as Fresh Precure and Suite Precure, the latter of which just recently started airing in Japan], but nothing I've heard about Heartcatch has grabbed my interest. And it sucks because I actually feel [i]left out[/i] in regards to this one, but eh, what can you do? And I'm just going to stop here before I turn this into the Hype Backlash/Aversion thread. I've made people weep with all the Disney movies I have yet to see, and I'm loathe to list them all here because of it. Let's just say that if you name it, I've probably not seen it. [I'll give a cheat sheet, though -- I have seen The Lion King, Princess and the Frog, and of course Tangled. Everything else is a crapshoot].There's no real particular reason I've not seen so many of them, either. I just never thought to ask to see them when I was growing up. But what makes it even more bizarre was that I grew up on Radio Disney and Disney Channel, so I dunno wtf was up with me back then. As for others... [b]The Lord of the Rings Trilogy[/b]: Never read the books, nor would I really have the patience to sit through 9000 hours of movies. Not knocking the quality, but yeah. [b]Any and all Harry Potter movies[/b]: Never was interested in the books, either, so no real reason for me to want to see any of the movies. [b]Both Star Wars trilogies[/b]: Again, just sheer lack of interest. I [i]have[/i] seen the third movie from the prequel trilogy [in b4 inb4 "lol what prequel trilogy"], and that was only because I had a friend at the time that was fangirling over Hayden Christensen and wouldn't quit harping me about it. I barely even remember what happened. I could make about fifty laundry lists with the stuff I've not seen, but I'll just stop there for now before I make any more people want to cry.[/font][/color]

Story isn't something I usually put a WHOLE lot of stock in [I play the mainstream Mario games for pete's sake], but if it has a good story, then the more the merrier, especially if it's something I don't expect to have a good story [like, ironically, Super Paper Mario]. On the same token, a batch of likable characters is also a plus. Graphics...a pretty looking game is nice, but it's the farthest thing from my mind when I play a game. I mean, sure, it's good to see what you're doing, and having a current-gen game with graphics of the past would be kind of weird [unless it's an intentional [url=http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/Retraux]retraux[/url] type deal], but otherwise, I don't really care. Graphics hardly make or break how good a game is. [/font][/color]
