[color="#9932CC"][font="Microsoft Sans Serif"]Here in the Midwest, tornadoes and severe weather overall is the normality during springtime. While we're not as bad as some states get it, we still plenty of scares and tornado watches/warnings each year. And you'd think that would make me used to them, right? Nope. Terrified of them. Some noteworthy happenings: Around when I was...I'm not sure when, but between the ages of 12 and 14, I remember a storm accompanied with a warning. It was like...6, 7 o'clock at night during DST, and yet it was absolutely [i]black[/i] outside. It looked like it was midnight. Nothing wound up happening, but it still scared me to death, and I think that's what kicked off my fear of tornadoes. Back in 08, we had easily the worst storm I had ever been in. There were no tornadoes in my particular part of the storm, but that didn't really matter considering this storm was monstrous, with 100+ MPH winds. I was crying and praying in my closet, because I seriously thought I was going to die. I had no idea what was going on. Power was out for a week [longer for some!], places were impassible due to the massive amounts of debris, and it as all around not a fun time. And then this year, it seemed like we were glued to a radar for three months straight; storms pretty much every week. Then one day in May we got planted under a "high risk" for severe weather, and since the Joplin tornado had [i]just[/i] happened that week, everyone [myself included] was freaking out. Outside of a buttload of funnel clouds and maybe one or two EF1 tornadoes that touched down in other spots, we were relatively unscathed.[/font][/color]

I miss it. ;~; I am now playing [b].hack//GU Redemption[/b], since I was stuck on an early boss for forever, and I really desperately need to finish this trilogy. I forgot how pretty, fun, and addicting this series can be. >_> I think I might also pick up [b]Final Fantasy IX[/b] soon, too. I've had the game for years and have barely touched it. ANNNND at some point I'll resume LttP and Super Metroid before Des kills me. *shot*[/font][/color]

People who have paid attention to that subject [or alternatively have been around my incessant whining] knows how they usually end up. And nothing he has done so far has helped dissuade that fact for me. I couldn't tell you why, either. I think I posted about it in the Pet Peeves thread, but it bears repeating. I'm 21-years-old and I'm still slightly afraid of the dark. Although I think my love of reading creepypasta on occasion is to blame for that one. And lastly for now, the phone. I hate making phonecalls. I hate talking on the phone unless it's with my parents. I guess I have some deep-seeded fear that I'll make myself sound like an ignorant idiot if I call the wrong number or say something wrong? I dunno. And it's not the advent of the internet/instant messaging, either -- I've been this way since I was, like, five. I have memories of answering the phone, and rushing the phone to my mom so I didn't have to speak. Always irritated her.[/font][/color]

[color="#9932CC"][font="Microsoft Sans Serif"]Sometimes, the fact that pretty much all of my friends are 5+ hours away from me really gets to me.[/font][/color]

[color="#9932CC"][font="Microsoft Sans Serif"]I rented [b]Marvel vs Capcom 3[/b] again and I feel horrible for it because of Capcom's antics lately, even though I'm largely over it by now. But it's still a very fun game...which makes me unsure of how to feel. >_>; If they do a good job with Phoenix in Ultimate, I might forgive them. Might. I've also been playing a ton of [b]Super Mario RPG[/b] lately. I've had it on the VC for a long time, got stuck on Moleville, and just sort of stopped. Now I managed to break through that tedium and am now at Barrel Volcano, I think just before the boss.[/font][/color]

As for school, I'm going to see if I can't go to another one, as I rather loathe my current college for multiple reasons...mainly because if you're not going for cosmetology/nursing/general studies, you're SOL. Oh, and almost none of the students there seem all that serious about their education. Probably because it's more like training wheels for a big uni. Of course, the temptation to just load up on gas and drive to the other side of the country is the option that is absolutely overwhelming, but I'm not sure I should do that without some sort of work experience...[/font][/color]

Anyway, that's enough of that, since I don't wanna derail the topic too much. I'm interested in Phoenix being in the game. Kinda wondering what his stage is going to be like, if he gets one. I also kinda hope some of his recolors will be Edgeworth and Apollo.[/font][/color]

[color="#9932CC"][font="Microsoft Sans Serif"]Since Capcom has come to the grand realization that its fanbase apparently consists of easily-appeased drones that would rather play Super Mega Ultra Deluxe Kawaii Desu Fighter 9000 with Fries and a Coke* instead of greenlighting a sequel to a game series that fans have been clamoring for for a decade now, I decided to fire up [b]Megaman Legends 2[/b]. There's still several things I haven't done on this game...like beat it. But there's a few little odds and ends I still need to do, so I figure it'd be a good time killer. I might go back to the original game as well and play it on Hard mode - I've never tried it on Hard before, so that should be an experience to say the least. *I like the popular fighting game series I'm lampooning here, btw. Just sayin'.[/font][/color]
