1.
I thought you were going to say that you thought the font "Arial" was named after her.
And here I thought you were going to say "I thought you said the font 'Arial' was hot"... Though you never know these days, man. >>
 2. I dunno. I found it kinda funny. I mean, whatever gets people to attend...? Although I guess I can see a problem with them wanting numbers, and thinking of their members as nothing more than that. My church is fairly small, and I kinda like it that way...I've only ever been to an OMFG HUGE church once. [And even then I was in the kids church section. T'was fun, though]. I guess I'd have to be there to see the effectiveness of it.
 3.
Edit: Also, you're fourteen. How the frick do you even have an "ex"?
I was wondering the same thing. O_o; Girl, I've not even had a boyfriend yet, and I'm 19. No need to get in a hurry, ya?
 4. The feelings'll change when you get older. Trust me. :p
 5. Alright, I'm generally gonna stay out of the rest of this for the most part, but there's one snippet by you that kinda bothered me.
I like to imagine that most people try to blog with a clear head, but of course I can’t speak for everyone.
I like to imagine that most people try to PM/email with a clear head, but of course I can't speak for everyone. See...yeah. That statement made little sense to me. Why should it matter if it's PM/email or through a blog? Plenty of people can make their thoughts clear either way.
However, e-mails/PMs need to be more specific than a post, since they’re going to a specific person.
I can agree with that, but at the same time, no one said blogging can't be just as effective. Heck, if anything, if it garners enough attention in the comments, gaining more support, it just might be more effective. Now I'm not encouraging people to start mobbing in their Worlds, but you get the general idea.
Whereas simply mentioning a common issue in a post in a blog, doesn’t require as much detail and can be just a few sentences.
So can a PM/email. Seriously, how many emails/PMs do you think Adam gets on a regular basis that consist nothing more than "omg adam i luv theotaku.com ^_^" or "OMFG ADAM U ROK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1"? And no one's ever said a clear, well-thought out World post can't address several issues either. After all, that's what you're doing right now, albeit on a forum, is it not? =D Bottom line, I dunno what's wrong with addressing issues in Worlds as opposed to PMs...it really all depends on the user.
 6. I've noticed it for a bit now. I thought all Members automatically became Otaku, but there's still some with "Member"... I kinda liked Member better, honestly. I'm already Otaku Legend at theO, so.
 7. I started going to public high school as a sophomore. So I can't help you there. :p
 8.
However, the news section no longer seems to post about upgrades, and if it does, I’ve never seen one of these posts on TheOtaku’s homepage.
The news category itself may not, but if you look right down below it, there's a little column entitled Official Updates. And if you're subscribed to Adam, you get a direct feed of updates, since the Official theOtaku.com World is one of his own.
As for visiting portfolios to find out if I’ve missed an update, that’s way too much work for me. XD I’m subscribed to a lot of people for their art and their blogs, so having to check each portfolio and comment on the updates would take forever. @.@
Not to sound rude, but that's quite honestly your problem for being subbed to a lot of people. :p I understand you want to follow people, but it's not the site's fault for that. And besides, there's already an option to sort by Worlds and Art, and as Beth [SunfallE] said, Adam is always open to suggestions. Now, as for MyOtaku. I am going to liken this to the best way I know possible, the video game industry. Every few years, a new console comes out from the big trio of companies, further expanding on their previous systems. This usually consists of internal stuff such as power, processing, and, of course, grahpical prowess. External, you have size, weight, and look. And then you have all the stuff like internet and downloading capabilities, games produced, the list goes on. How is this relevant? Thoughts aside about what people may claim about Microsoft, Sony, or Nintendo, if they kept producing the same kind of system every few years, people would eventually complain and get tired of it. It would be like if we never got out of the graphics that Final Fantasy VII or Super Mario 64 had. People would complain that it was dated, and that we need to strive forward. The same applies for MyOtaku -- if we kept with that old, dated blogging system, people would whine and complain about us being steps behind the other big blogging sites. And then we have the old school hardcore types, who get upset because we are moving forward, and insist on clinging to their old systems of lore. While there's nothing inherently wrong with that, it doesn't make any sense to stay with old stuff and not move forward [unless it's money, but that's an entirely different argument], when we have the capabilities to do so. Which is why MyO is the old version, and Worlds is the new. Finally, to satisfy the old schoolers [and the nostalgic types] that lack the old games/game systems or just want a fresher experience, as well as the current generation, the triad of home consoles each offer a downloading service, in which you can obtain a myriad of older games. The Wii has the Virtual Console, the 360 has Xbox Live Arcade contained within the Xbox Live Marketplace, and Sony has the Playstation Network. That way, people can enjoy the games of the old days. Likewise, even though newer members cannot create one, Adam rather graciously kept MyOtaku for the old schoolers, to keep posting in, or just use as an archive. As for updates...while some games may be re-released in some form, it wouldn't make sense for Sony to suddenly start releasing PS1 games in physical form. Same goes for Microsoft or Nintendo's old systems. You can re-release, but releasing physical copies for systems long out of production makes no sense at all, really. tl;dr -- moving forward super late edit: Also, this debate of yours seems a weeeeeeee bit out of left field, especially considering most of the MyO/World drama was well over a year ago. Just sayin'.
 9. 1. Wayne Gretzky 2. Aston Villa F.C. I think.
 10.
I think VH1 promotes gold digging now with that show "Megan Wants a Millionaire".
Not anymore. They pulled the show recently 'cause of the fiasco with the guy. He was also gonna be on I Love Money 3 [and the rumor is that he won that], but that's been canned, too.
 11. [strike]...Alright, number one, I concede, no idea. 2, though...true. They are in fair territory.[/strike] nevermind, Cat got it.
 12. I'm actually following that case rather closely...mainly 'cause the suspect was a contestant on one of VH1's reality shows, which I will admit I used to follow 'til they turned into trashfests [...well, even WORSE than before, rather]. Though, regardless...it's really sad, she was killed really gruesomely.
 13. 1. Tiger Woods 2. Roger Federer....I think
 14.
So whose Bella Swan?
.....................................LOL

 16. Yes, I know, it's a cardinal sin like fictional men. I shall go repent the best way I can. ZETSUBOUSHITA

 18.
It's 'you cat you' though I know that's not quite the right saying... it's just that he's our resident basement cat. ._.
Sorry, but I don't do the whole furry thing. So he's a human as far as I'm concerned. >>
 19. Okay, so on Deviantart, I'm generally accepting of critique. It helps me improve, and I am thankful for that. ...but when my main "friend" that crits me only ever comments anymore JUST to crit, and barely speaks to me at all anymore elsewhere, is it wrong for me to get annoyed? :/ I'd like you to just speak to me again in friendly terms every once in awhile, thank you.
 20. My internet does NOT like me tonight. Internet crapped out, fine, went to reboot the router. Did so. But it didn't work. So I had to disconnect/reconnect everything on my comp to make it work, eventually it did...then it d/c'd AGAIN, only to find the internet had fizzled out completely on the modem, so I rebooted that. Everything was fine again, but THEN I couldn't log into YIM, so I had to reboot the computer...everything's fine now, but sheesh. The modem flipping out may have had to do with either the fact we had no power this morning, or maybe it was the storm that moved through this evening...probably the latter...
 21.
My best friend and her husband have sunflowers growing outside their townhouse. If you live in the area I can give you their address and you can steal them
Ahh man, that actually sounds good... But I've been hooked on sunflower seeds since I was a kid, and it's probably my favorite snack ever. I like nacho cheese and jalapeno the most, though I'm craving some good ol' original ones lately... *yawns* And I'm still tired...and it's only 10:06.
 22. And I...don't like soy sauce at all. Then again, I've not had it in years. Odd given how much rice and sushi I eat...
 23. LOL CAN I AUDITION PLX . . . wait, Missy still has my title. GIVE IT HERE
 24. Aghaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa I'm so tired. And I crave sunflower seeds. . . . and I kinda wanna smack someone. But what else is new.
 25. Shoulda gone for the chalupa, dude. But...that...yeah. What a winner, man. Pause exists for a reason.
