1. 'Cause us Americans love our apple pie, thus love our apples! Hyuk hyuk hyuk. :B *shot*
2. If anyone wanted to come here in Hickville, Illinois, I'd haul them to either the nearest town east of here, or west of here. This place is literally surrounded by, uh, better places. All that's here is a tiny Wal-Mart, random fast food places, three video stores, and other random crap. Either that, or haul them to St. Louis. 'Bout an hour and a half away.
3. *stumped again* Guuuuhhh....who gave me the stupid pill? Dx
4. I haven't had it in forever, but I love the stuff. ^__^ I personally love original flavor, but the spicy flavor sounds good as well. *is a major spicy food adict*
5. *click* Yeah, we're still mad about it too.
6. ...You have stumped me. Lookit, Sangome got stumped! Hyuk hyuk hyuk. :B
7. Oh how unfair, I had this big ol' post, and just as I submitted, OB logged me out. Well, I'll make this short and sweet then - I am Christian, I was born and (am being) raised in a Christian enviorment. However, if any of you saw me, you would guess differently - I hang out with those outside my belieifs (most Christians would avoid them like the plauge, but God also says to love them unconditionally, so I chose the latter), I am undecided on homosexuality and gay marriage (again, most Christians find both taboo, as I said I have yet to be swayed to one side of the party, but I could go either way at any time), and would you ever guess that I would like an anime series to the calibur of Elfen Lied? I'm also staunchly opposed to banning violent video games... *ramble ramble* So basically I'm a very opinionated Christian. >< Hyuck hyuck hyuck.
8. P= More or less my sixth grade year wasn't that exciting, mainly due to the fact that I was homeschooled. I was obsessed with PokeMon at the time, the GameCube was freash and new, still... P= Yeah, life was good. Up until seventh grade. Then it went to hell for awhile. But I won't get into that.
9. I sum this guy up in one word: Nuts. I was watching GMA this morning before school, and it was going into how Thailand (where he was found) is notorious for its prostitution of young girls, which could possibly - but we don't know - why he was there. It was also said that he's been married twice - once to a thirteen year old girl, whom he convinced to lie about her age, and a sixteen year old, whom he had three children with. He's already had child porn charges against him, and every job (for the most part) that he has had has been around children. And furthermore, well Papa Smurf beat me to all the other logic type stuff, except for one, he said he dropped her off from school the day it happened, BUT she was found dead the day after Christmas. School was OUT at the time. ...I think I need to find a new word to describe him. Pedophile. The way I see it, until they can find something proving what he says is true, he's some kind of oddball pedophile orchestrating his biggest fantasy. Either that, or he just wanted some attention. The latter, I'd say he got some attention allright. If it's proven that he lied, he's gonna have charges against him, like lying to authorities, and any other charges that may stem from this.
10. I do, I'm very active over at MyOtaku, myself. I know a few others as well. But no, I do not believe EVERY LAST ONE OF US has an account at MyO, nor does everyone at MyO have an account here. I also know some started here then got a MyO account, and vice versa. I fall into the latter category myself.
11. My bedroom is pink as well, so sue me. >_> I have a canopy bed that I've had since I was little (my mother slept in it when she was little at that, and yes the matress has been changed). My room is kinda small, mainly bacause my bed takes up a good portion of space. When you first walk in you'll see my bulletin board (with random anime pics pinned on it, I think I have a couple ticket stubs on there as well), my bookshelf (which my dad made so I could stash my manga and small amount of anime DVDs, I also have a figure of Shadow the Hedgehog and Alphonse Elric on top), my dresser with my rabbit and her cage on it, and my OTHER dresser. x.x Next to my bed is my TV, which has yet another bookshelf next to it, this one housing my PS2, GameCube, N64 (and yes, I still play it), and my plethura of games. My controllers are always getting stepped on as well, it's a wonder how they're not broker... x_x Anyway, to the left of my bed (or right, if you're lying down in the direction it's faced) is my wall that's plastered with anime pictures. And I'm not talking about the ones that are tiny-winy, I mean the ones that my printer prints out eight or nine pieces of and I have to put them together. o_o At least FIVE of the posters are FMA related (four of them actually have my favorite character(s) on them, as much as I adore the brothers x_x), aaaand I have an FMA calendar next to my bed, on my wall. I also have a lime green beanbag chair in my room, as well as a closet that I hope my mother never looks in. x_x And finally, I have a giant stuffed bunny next to my bed as well, a nightstand, an old toybox (which just houses old school books now), and a net on my wall holds a TON of my old stuffed animals. >
12.
#6 More colorful than not, Has there ever been more of a misnomer? One would think they could name themselves correctly in the first place.
I see the word colorful, which leads me to think it's the user CoLoR_Me_EviL ....I'm probably wrong.
13. S3X IZ GUD I'VE HAD IT WITH 3 BOIS LOL!1!1!!! Sarcasm of stereotypes aside... How I LEARNED about it? Well, I was homeschooled a majority of my life, so I certainly didn't learn it that way. It too alot, and I mean ALOT of persuasion from my parents (mainly my mother) to tell me about it. I was told...that it was what a man and a woman do when they're married and love each other. x_x What do I think about it? Well, I can't really say much, seeing as how, as taperson said, will stay a virgin until marriage. But I think it's the biggest act of love anyone can endow on theire spouse or lover.
Plus, you wouldn't be here without it. Buahahaha!
EDIT: Oh, and I wouldn't know if they teach it in our schools here. I know our high school touches on abstinence and such in some textbooks, but there aren't any graphic explanations of human reporduction.
14. ...Oh my sweet jiminy. I literally covered my mouth as I read through that. I too don't know what's more disturbing - the fact that the boyfriend won't get as nearly as much jailtime as he should, or that the mother ALLOWED something like that...ugh...it is sickening. Very sickening. And the fact that she's wearing that shirt...I have to wonder if her boyfriend was the one that got it for her. =|
15. Mew Mew Power - No, not the quality Tokyo Mew Mew anime or manga, I'm talking about the 4Kids hackjob. While it may not air anymore, and I still think it was horribly dubbed, I managed to wake up every morning to watch it, and somehow eeked some enjoyment out of it. A Sailor Moon ripoff? Maybe. One of the worst 4Kids dubs? Most likely. Guilty pleasure? Heck yes. PokeMon - Yes yes, the anime that got me started on anime in general. Story? I think most know it by now, so I won't deleve into it. The series, IMO, was tarnished when it got into the fourth season, when the two YEARS worth of fillers took over (no, not two years anime time, two years OUR time). But what can I say? I plugged through, because it was before I discovered Adult Swim. I still enjoy PokeMon to this day, if not the early episodes. And I'll take my leave as well, before I start to get funny looks.
16. 1 ~ What is your NATURAL hair color/colors? A mix of light and dark brown, with hints of red and blonde. 2 ~ Have you ever dyed your hair? If so, what color[s]? I haven't dyed it, no, but I've highlighted it fuschia. 3 ~ If you have, do you regret it? Has it damaged your hair? No, I don't regret it, but the fact that my mother did it for me...it was supposed to be streaked. It looked more like some five year old drew in my hair. ._. And no, it hasn't damaged it. 4 ~ Are you satisfied with your current hair color? For the most part. 5 ~ What is your favorite style for your hair? [[long, short, bangs, etc]] Just long. I rarely wear it up. I'm also one of the few who still has her bangs. P= I've pictured my hair bangless and while others say I'd look pretty, I say otherwise... 6 ~ What kind of hair do you like in the opposite sex? ...Do I have to answer this question? D:
17. I WIN! No, wait, I lost! I WIN! I LOST! WIN! LOST! WIN! LOST! WIN! LOST! WI- *explodes*
18. HA! I found the infamous translation error! Take THAT, o' Grammar Nazi's. >:3
19. All I know about my name is that the spelling varies the definition. According to what I've found, the name Stacy is Greek, which means "ressurection". But the way it's SUPPOSED to be spelled, Stacey, is English, and means "stable". ... O_o Stable? If by "fidget and yell alot", then yeah, I'm stable. >_>
20. I'm really new to this series. No, really, I am. I just watched the first two episodes like an hour ago. Prodding from OB, myO, and other friends alike prompted me to check it out. ...And hot dang, am I glad I did. I was a bit leery at first, but as it went along, I started laughing so hard! The twins constantly teasing fangirls with incest (is it just me, or does the series seem to be taking a playful jab at yaoi and its rabid fangirls, if not just a hair? Prolly just me over-analyzing), the crossdressing, and my personal favorite...HUNNI-SENPAI! EEEEEE! ... *coughs* Yes, I do love this series. Already. Alot. It's just a shame I won't be able to watch it much, what with school starting for me soon...curse my procrastinating tendencies.
21. YAY! I got one right! x3
#9 Champion of the bloggers, They only bother you when you don't choose your words carefully.
...I am going to go out on a reeeeally flimsy limb and say Grammar Nazi's?
22. A year ago, I was starting public high school for the very first time, since I had been homeschooled for so long. I had been really, really scared of how it would turn out, but as it DOES turn out, I wound up liking public school, and now I wouldn't have it any other way (minus getting up early). So, now, here in a few weeks, I'll look forward to seeing my friends and the like at school. Even the otther, annoying kids. They kinda grew on me. XD So, to boil it down, I was a shy, shy girl that mainly did computer and internet. Now I'm not so shy and...well, I'm still a big internet user, but then again, what teen in this day and age isn't? XD
23. Whenever I see the topic of fanservice brought up in forums, it usually seems to go down like this - men see a naked girl and go "OMFG I SOOO WANNA DO HER LOL", yet see two naked guys banging each other and are totally turned off. Yet for the females, they'll see an upskirt shot of a girl and be grossed out, but they see the afformentioned naked men banging each other and go "OMGGGGGG HAWT LOLZ!!!!1!!!1!1!!!!!111!". It would appear that genders are turned off at fanservice that's targeted at the opposite gender, which is nautural. Now, for myself, it depends on the situation, As, bellpickle said, anime is more about telling a story than fanservice, and too much fanservice just seems to be distracting. I feel the same way. If it's just fanservice thrown in every once in awhile, or done so it's not blatantly obviously supoosed to be fanservice (like Elfen Lied, in some instances), then I don't mind. But if an anime is just pure fanservice, then I'm most likely going to be turned off, regardless of what gender it caters to in terms of fanservice. So, what it boils down to for me is is that if anime has just a bit of fanservice, I'll watch, and it won't faze me, but if it's just pantyshot after pantyshot or kissing males after kissing males, I'll most likely stop watching or reading and go find something else.
24. Like Battousai9002, I'm the exact same way. I'll see something on TV, and a week later I'll start laughing my head off. People'd think I'm nuts. Anyway, one thing I know of that made me laugh...look up "Axel's Hips Don't Lie" on YouTube. I can guarantee a majority of females will laugh, but many males will be turned off. I know it happened to me and my friends. Anyway, as for something that made ME laugh...hn, alot of anime/manga jokes I laugh at, but people such as my parents think I'm nuts. But, eh. I don't even try to tell them about funny stuff in anime and manga (or the occasional game) anymore. XD Also, I find some of the events in A Series of Unfortunate Events funny. Others I know think it's just silly. D: I'd say what, but they'd spoil some of the books, plus there's too many to list. xP EDIT: And, I find the random jokes of Family Guy funny, though in reality, they're just uberly stupid. I also like some of the rather crass jokes on South park, but many people seem to think I'm insane for it. o_o
25.
It's not playing.....anywhere near me. :animecry: This is the first I've heard of the movie. Any idea of what the plot is? And, is it meant to be like...the end of the series, or a turning point, or just a stand-alone sort of thing?
Not playing anywhere near ME, either. And to answer your question about the movie, basically a rough summary is is that it takes place two years after the events of the final episode of the series.
Ed is working in Munich with his friend, Alfons Heiderich, who looks alot like his own little brother, Alphonse Elric. On the other side of the Gate, Al is working to find a way to reunite with his brother. Meanwhile, the Thule Society, on Ed's side of the Gate, is trying to open the Gate to "Shamballa", AKA the world FMA took place in, with the help of its leader.
So, essentially, the movie is about
Ed and Al trying to find each other, after being separated at the end of the series.
Very very good movie. :animesmil Though some of my favorite characters
die. D:
That's the way the cookie crumbles, I guess.
