1. I think she just means a finalized roster, not that they all have to be at level 60. If that was the case, several of us would probably be SOL.
2. Production for s2 is supposed to end some time in December, but chances are, we'll see episodes a little bit ahead of that. I'm projecting August/September, but I could be wrong. Anyways, as for Faust leaving? I'm going to be honest here -- this has me worried. A lot. The level of creator/fandom interaction that Faust has had with us is nothing short of incredible. It's not something you see with a lot of shows. [Any creator/director that can brave the den of depravity known as 4chan and interact with fans deserves a freakin' medal.] But the fact that we're going to lose a lot of that interaction makes me worried that this is going to become some impersonal gobbledy-gook, which is not what got me into the show to begin with, nor did it for anyone else. And while she still technically has a position on the show, she's still not the director, meaning she's not going to have a whole lot of power over how the show turns out in the end. Nngh. Maybe I'm being too cynical. I'll still watch season 2, but if they go the way of the goopy glurge that Faust worked so hard to get girls' cartoons out of...well. Let's just say I'm not going to be happy. [/obligatory cynical post] EDIT: Okay, Derpy becoming an official character and the Luna episode being "pretty cool" takes the edge off it a little bit.
3. My brain's kind of been on shutdown for the past week or so, and I'm slowly rebooting it. Which caused me to realize today that school ends for me next week. I've got this week, and then next week is finals week. ...Where did this semester go? ._. Edit: MY POST COUNT IS LEET
4. I'm going to take a shot in the dark here and guess Grave of the Fireflies.
5. My club is pretty rad, yes.
6.
And? :|

7. I dunno. This episode felt kind of blah to me, especially as a season finale. I liked all the call backs to previous episodes, with all the pony cameos, the dresses they were wearing, and whatnot, but I...I just wasn't feeling it like I was feeling the past handful of episodes. I mean, don't get me wrong, it was still good...but I guess I was expecting a bit more? I'm not sure.
8. I'm not sure if I should respond with "u mad" or not.

9. So tomorrow is the season finale. I'm excited but sad at the same time. Do we have any idea of when season two will start? I heard production ends sometime in December, but they'll more than likely start airing new episodes way before that. I'm going to guess August, but I could be wrong. Either way, we've been promised a Luna episode next season, and I hope it delivers. We need more Luna.

11. I rather like my 360; while I don't have Live or anything, I enjoy my library of games, and it's fun all around. As for games, let's see... BlazBlue series: Fighting games are not everybody's cup of tea, but since you have MvC3 listed [which I would have also suggested], I figured I'd give it a shot. I also know you tend to play games with a more visual novel-ish slant to them [like Ace Attorney, Professor Layton, etc], which BlazBlue also has. It's a 2D fighter which, unlike a lot of fighting games, is very rich in story and plot. The story is laid out like a visual novel, with multiple endings to each character's story arc, so be prepared for clicking through a lot of dialogue [although, thankfully, they're all voiced -- with Japanese/English options, no less -- which takes the edge off it a bit]. The combat's also fun, and the games are just pretty addicting all around. Super Street Fighter IV: Quintessential fighting game series, really. Pretty fun [and frustrating...] Tales of Vesperia: I gotta give a plug for one of my favorite game series, and since Vesperia's a good entry in the series, I shall be recommending it all the same. The battle system's frentic [although kinda button mashy, but that's par the course for action RPGs], the graphics are gorgeous, looking like a real anime [and I am far, far from a graphics snob], and it's all around good times. It's also not a game to cut your teeth on if you've never played other games in the series. Also Yuri Lowell is like the best RPG protagonist ever and is amazing. Half Life 2: I am not a big FPS fan, either, but I found what I played of this really fun. The fact that it actually has a good story to it probably helps. And I obviously encourage Portal, which you've listed. I want -- no, I NEED the second game, ugh.
12. I kinda think they threw him overboard precisely because A. No place in their right mind would give him a proper burial [not without severe stigma from the rest of the world] and B. They just wanted the satisfaction of tossing him overboard in hopes of him getting eaten by a shark. The "Islamic tradition" thing was probably just an excuse. :P As for "celebrating a death"...I...I'm not really sure. While I agree the concept of it is rather dark, and the people celebrating certainly do have an extremely valid excuse, I myself would feel very odd if I went out and rejoiced in the streets. He was an atrocious person, he had it coming, but I just don't think I could do it. Maybe I'd feel differently if I had lost a loved one on 9/11. That said, I also think calling it "murder" isn't the right word for it, either. I think the others have summed it up better than I could.
13. Ah, they're from Ghost Trick, for the DS. :3

14. So for my birthday, I purchased myself a copy of Ghost Trick. It's by the same director as Ace Attorney, and I had heard many good things about it, so I was hoping it did not disappoint. And it did not! It's a fun, solid game with an interesting story and pretty awesome characters, all of which are pretty quirky and endearing, as to be expected from the AA director. I'm not sure I like it quite as much as AA [although that may not be entirely fair since Ace Attorney has had six games so far, whereas Ghost Trick has had...one], but it's still a very good game. Definitely pick it up if you've got a DS. Also, I felt incredibly stupid at the end, because
it wasn't until 15 minutes after I beat the game before I realized just who came to get Yomiel. Derp.

15.
Edit: I also love how this thread is immediately deteriorating into a partisan ****-slinging extravaganza. Can we lay off the political party issue for one thread? Please?
Thank you. While I'm not going to go out and parade in the streets either, an evil man is gone from the world. I'm glad it's finally resolved, although the war is far from over.
16. 'cept they did get kid's shows. Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Shaman King, Tokyo Mew Mew and the like were all meant for the younger market. That said, it should be noted that in the instance of Shaman King, despite it still being edited, it still went under fire for being too violent and scary. I'm not defending the edits they did, [but keep in mind that all edits done on 4kids's shows were approved by the original companies/directors/whoever determines that. And that includes the infamous One Piece] whether they were for the better or worse [although their Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh dubs were still rather praised, as I vividly remember the sheer rage that ensued when PUSA took the reins of the NA distribution of the Pokemon anime], but the fact of the matter is is that it's another NA anime company with financial issues. "Deserved" or not, that's still not a very good sign for the industry in the US at all.
17. Actually, I think people need to get off their self-righteous high horses about this and really think about it. Yes, 4kids did some really stupid crap, but you know what? They were by and large responsible for a huge number of anime fans today, and for us to lose that is honestly really quite sad. And from what I understand, they were starting to get back on their feet, especially given how their streaming site, Toonzai, has several [uncut] anime to rival Crunchyroll. Not to mention there's several people who had nothing to do with the "mangling" of their series that are losing their jobs; the voice actors and composers, One Piece rap aside, were genuinely good and I hope they can find some work. And not to rain on everybody's parade, but they're filing for Chapter 11, which means they can still restructure and reform. Chapter 7 is when they go down for good. Sorry, dudes.
18.
I need a minute to process this, myself. I'm trying to decide if this adds to her character or just makes everything about her ever so slightly more disturbing. All I know is that the last 20 minutes of my life were terrifying.
So wait. Waitwaitwaitwaitwait. Did our perception of the same character just totally switch? Because...that's...that's funny. Hysterical, even.
19. PARTIES So yeah, this was...pretty epic, actually. We now know Pinkie's mental stability relies on parties, else she'll transform back into Pinkamena Diane Pie. I...think she's...actually grown on me after this episode. As much as I don't want to admit it.
20. Tornadoes suck -- scared to death of 'em. We had a funnel cloud spotted near here the other day, and I was an incoherent mess all the while. We got lucky, though. Glad to hear you're alright. :( We don't need anybody here eaten by tornadoes.
