1. I got permission from digiX to take over the story. I'll keep it going if you all are still interested. Tell me if you are no longer interested. I can think of delighfully bad ways to write out your character. (Insert evil smirk and maniacal laughter here, heh.) We are going to rescue Hashi soon. I can't think of why Hashi was captured, but I might take some liberties by not addressing that issue. :animeswea I don't know if Hashi is going to continue in the group or not, though. After that, I'm starting my character's quest involving mercenaries/assassins. I think we should somehow regroup by then, maybe go back to Mecki. Ceyla has two brothers. She will meet up with them, then act really childish and out of character for a short time. That will end quickly, because... well, you'll see. I'll just say for now that someone's after her, and since everyone else is around her, they get targeted as well. Illusion and kenshinsbabe, if you want to mix your quests in, that's fine. Finding Kacela's father could be worked in, and if Dalanius, as mentioned in another post, goes a little crazy and wants revenge (I'm guessing for his parents), that would work well in there too. I'm open to any ideas, since we should all have equal oppurtunity to shape the story.
2. OoC: I'm going to take control of the RP over from digiX. I'll post in the Underground about overall direction of the story. This should get things moving again. For my purposes, our current location is right near the foot of the Micandor mountains, and Hashi will be on the first mountain we look on. We will fight other harpies first, then go to where Hashi is held. IC: The night had passed without incident. Dalanius and Kacela had kept mostly to themselves. Ceyla woke to the light of false dawn. They were at the foot of the Micandor mountains. She gathered and packed her blankets, then removed all traces of their fire. Cellah woke second, and together they readied the horses. Dalanius had slept away from them, but Ceyla made sure he had eaten. He needed time alone. She gave him time to himself, letting him be the one to offer information. She moved near his sleeping pallet. The sound of her footsteps stirred him awake. Ceyla wished him a good morning, offered a faint smile, and returned to find Cellah had woken Kacela. Ceyla wondered how Vincent and Neko were, but trusted they fared well. They set out at a gallop on the horses. They found a worn path leading up the mountain. A fresh footprint was imbedded in the dirt. As they ascended the path, dark spots started circling in the sky. "Look!" Cellah said quietly but urgently. "Those spots... they're harpies. Hashi must be close." They all nodded in agreement. "We'll have to be careful, because they will attack us on sight." "This rescue will hopefully go better than the last one," Kacela wished. They went further up the moutain, going slower so the horses would not make as much noise. An old wooden fortress sat farther up the mountain. By all looks it was abandoned. It would make a good hide out to hide Hashi. A shriek over their heads alerted their senses. Four harpies had spotted them. As the first dove at them, Ceyla pulled out small throwing knives. Although they were inefficient against armor or tough hide, the enemy harpies were not thick-skinned. She waited as one lunged at them, and threw the dagger into its wing. The others drew weapons as well, and they started fighting off the vicious foes.
3. Black Hayate New Scramble: areveshgar Hint: Earl Cain's last name, and the real Alice's married name.
4. THE badass ninja is Scorpion. New Scramble: voloinertu Hint: Codename for Wii.
5. I have seen a little about this subject before. There was a little kid, about eight, who had been abandoned and taken in by a pack of dogs. The kid communicated with the dogs, and the dogs brought him food. When they found him, it was too late for the brain to properly develop. You need to be introduced to human speech patterns for a long time when you are very young to have a fully functioning mind. You learn from example. The brain can shrink if you are deprived of stimulation. On a side note, babies that are deprived of touch, cuddling, and holding can't develop properly, either.
6. Your wish is granted; the Force is real. Unfortunately, I can use it and Force-choke everyone on this planet and the galaxy into submission. You are now my slaves. Mwahahahaha!!!! I wish I was the beloved Supreme Empress Overlord of Earth who everyone was faithful to and no one overthrows me.
7. Name: Dhante (both in the game and real life) Age: 17 Gender: Female Personality: Dhante tries to be on good terms with everyone. She shows different aspects of herself to different people. In an hour she might talk about her favorite manga, debate on things like religion, and say every weird, random, or perverted thought that comes into her head. Dhante stands up for her beliefs and tries to help her friends with whatever problem they may have. Race: Dhante is half human, half bat demon (1/2 human, 1/4 fruit bat, and 1/4 vampire bat, to be exact). Her hearing is exceptional and her eyes are sensitive to very bright light, but the rest of her senses are the same as a normal human's. Appearance: Dhante is short with dark brown eyes and mocha skin. She has small, sharp teeth, large bat ears, and pointed claws. Although Dhante has wings, they are only a foot long and incapable of flight. The fur of ears and wings is amber, while her hair is black. She is very athletic with nimble movements, and is often seen hanging upside down on branches and the like. She wears a form-fitting red top with a low-cut back for her wings, black pants, and has white slashes across her body like tattoos. Weapon: She uses a large scythe measuring six feet with a dark crimson blade. Its blade gradually absorbs blood. It releases a powerful shadow blast once it has enough; however, this is a rare occurrence. She will also use her teeth and claws to bite and scratch. Magic/Abilities: Dhante can disorient enemies by uttering a high-pitched cry. She has some control over shadows, using a few varieties of spells. Her powers are reduced to a fourth of their full strength during the day.
8. Congradulations! I'll spread the love around. You get to go to Siberia. With me. Through the space-time vortex. I give everyone a stomach ache. You draw the next short straw. Siberia is a cold and mysterious land. I wish I had The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess right now for both the Gamecube and Wii.
9. Ver2.0, I'll be nice and grant your wish by replying to this post! Unfortunately, everyone in my posts in this thread must die... painfully. You are so happy that someone else is replying that you run into the streets with joyful yells. You are quickly quieteed again by a truck of nuclear waste which runs over you, crashes, and explodes. You are horribly mangled, while everyone nearby that you loved slowly suffers from the radiation explosion. I wish it were already summer vacation.
10. Sasuke from Naruto, who has fangirls even in the manga itself. New Scramble: lange cusnyatar Hint: My banner and avatar; Kaori Yuki.
11. It took me awhile but... Metal Gear Solid's Revolver Ocelot. New Scramble: eth slatnawed Hint: Who is the third who walks always beside you? I have no idea what everything means, but I love this work very much.
12. You are bold enough for your title to be The King of Kings. And it's nice to call someone a pretty angel.
13. Name: Kiris Oth Gender: Female Age: 19 Faction: 7th (Name Unknown) Race: Sylph. Sylph are a graceful, winged, and often beautiful race. They are creatures of the air who have the winds at their call. Sylph vary in appearance depending on what kind of wings they have. While some are like miniature humans, Kiris is one of the raven-winged sylph. Sylph with raven wings are as tall as an average human male and sinewy, although they still retain slender frames. The only downfall to their wind magic is that it requires extreme amounts of energy for the more powerful attacks. Personality: Kiris prefers to have only one or two close friends with no more contact than neccessary. She is fairly sweet around the few people she likes, but will kill without a second thought in battle. She changes personality depending on who she is with. She excels at telling people what they want to hear. Espionage is one of her specialties. Snippet: The scent of blood infiltrated Kiris's senses, but it was not recently spilled. The most recent fight was between the Shadow Raiders and the White Mist. Kiris often invaded the groups right after a battle when bodies were weakest. Kiris abused her youthful, sweet appearance. Her fine clothes concealed the scars she had gained in previous altercations. Her wispy black hair was swept into a loose bun on her head, and just the barest touch of red colored her cheeks. Nothing could hide her wings, but not every sylph was part of the seventh faction. The White Mist soldiers were often over-confident, making inexperienced members vulnerable. The Shadow Raiders all specialized in assassination, which meant it was wiser to target the White Mist. She tracked them to the nearest and immediately scouted out the youngest soldiers. Kiris found two rowdy young men in a bar bragging about the slaughter a few days ago. The occupants of the tavern kept their faces low. The Factions always left death behind them. Kiris sat next to the soldiers and gave a shy, innocent smile. She listened attentively to every word they said and supplied them with ample liquor. Foolishly, one soldier let it slip that the next destination was the seventh faction's territory. Kiris broke into an even larger smile. She asked in a deceptively innocent voice if they would like to accompany her to her home. They accepted. She led them to the town's outskirts. She drew close to one soldier, pressing against him. Kiris whispered coldly, "I usually find it much harder to kill White Mist this way. You are a disappointment to your faction." With practiced movement she pulled twin short swords that had been hidden under her wings. She slit the closer soldier's throat. Wind captured the other. She called upon her element and slammed him headfirst into a stone. A sickening crack was heard. Wind struck at the ground, creating a good-sized hole. She irreverantly pushed their bodies into the excavation; the wind replaced the dirt. All evidence of their deaths was sufficiently hidden. Kiris turned away. The wind now blew without her calling upon it; a lucky omen. She spread her ebony wings wide. Her faction would be pleased with advanced information. She preferred open battle to this cheap trickery. Kiris raised herself high into the sky. She told herself the seventh faction had true right to the throne. She felt their superiority was shown in how quickly they rose to power. The young sylph would kill anyone to uphold her beliefs.
14. You have a cookie. There is nothing dangerous about the cookie. It is the perfect temperature and absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, you got your cookie through baking it yourself. You neglected to turn the oven off. Your house burns down. The cookie also burns. I wish I could pass my two-chapter advanced geometry test and two hundred question Latin mythology test that both take place tomorrow.
15. Cygnus X-1 can perfectly describe Tomb Raider in one sentence.
16. Katana: I think it's For Blood and Empire 1nOnlyCloud: Snapple New Scramble: dellild Hint: The real Alice's last name.
17. OoC: Ceyla's paranoia has a point which will come up later. Ceyla appreciated Cellah's cheer. Cellah kept smiling, which was hard to do. Kacela, too, tried staying at ease. They arrived at the foot of the towering mountains. The harpy Hashi would hopefully be close by. As they began their ascent, Ceyla felt paranoia creep over her once again, as she had at the stream. She strained for any sign of an enemy but found none. Kacela had said to give Dalanius space, but Ceyla wished to talk to the paladin. She kept quiet, telling herself how ridiculous her trepidation was. Her hand strayed to the bracelet on her right wrist. The metal felt cold against her skin. She sighed softly. Cellah heard the sound and looked at her curiously. Ceyla grinned at the huntress. "Let's find Hashi as soon as possible," Ceyla said with abnormal cheer. She focused straight ahead on the path. It was much easier to hide anxieties than confront them.
18. Super Magic of Ruining Wishes Go!! You are a half-cat demon and Inuyasha is your boyfriend. One problem. Actually, several problems. Namely the walking corpse psycho***** Kikyo, my loverly feather boa wearing Sesshomaru, a very pissed off Kagome, and eye shadow wearing Naraku. The girls are angry because they want Inuyasha as a boyfriend. Naraku and Sesshy want to kill him and make his life as horrible as possible. You are impaled by two sacred arrows, poison claws, and one of those freaky tentacles. Inuyasha goes back to pining over Kikyo and cheating on Kagome, because he would be just as horrible a boyfriend in real life as he is on the show. I wish I were adopted by Bill Gates and given full access to his fortune.
19. Tical has a cool avatar and a great taste in banners.
20. I love the sigs. They give a little insight into every member's personality. Right now I really like Starwind's, The13thMan's, and all of Keyblade Wielder's signatures. They all have nice banners. I admire anyone who can make a good banner since I can do absolutely nothing special. The only sigs I really dislike are those with 500 smilies or really, really, really bad grammar.
21. You now have meat vision. Whenever you look at something, you see meat. You even see it when your eyes are closed. The sight of sausages 24/7 is okay for a while, but you are severely inhibited by the inability to see what's actually in front of you. After unwillingly watching dancing bratwurst (sp?) for six months, you can no longer take the meat. You go crazy, run into the street, and get hit by... a meat delivery truck, of course. I wish I had a 267-sided die.
22. Ceyla noticed Dalanius had returned to his more detached, somber state. Kacela still worried over Vincent; it was noticeable in her normally cool demeanor. Ceyla was at a loss for any way to reassure them. She searched for water with Cellah as Dalanius asked, hoping their group would be whole again soon. Cellah said, "I can hear water just beyond those trees. It's a small river." Ceyla nodded. Cellah had exceptional hearing. They found a stream of cold, clear water. The happy stream seemed out of place after the bloodshed they had been exposed to that day. The two filled the water flasks and took them back to the horses. "I'm taking my horse to get a drink, and then I'm going to wash up," Ceyla said. "Call me if you need anything." She faintly grinned at Cellah before heading back to the stream. Her horse grazed contentedly as she pulled out spare clothes. Dirt and blood--both her own and her enemies'--stained the clothing she currently wore. She grimaced at the red substance that invaded her senses and quickly removed it. The pure water removed all traces of the earlier battle. She bathed quickly but valued the feeling of being cleansed. As she dried off and changed into fresh attire, she felt a wave of paranoia. She inspected the trees for an invisible enemy. No one seemed to be present, but she felt like a pair of eyes was watching her. She shook away the sensation. I must be getting delusional, she mused. She returned to Cellah, saying she did not mean to take so long. Ceyla tied her sandy blond hair out of her face and waited for Dalanius and Kacela to return.
23. Ceyla remained cognizant after the golem was destroyed. Only Neko and Vincent were missing. The princess should get to the castle safely, leaving them free to look for their friends. She approached Dalanius, Cellah, and Kacela. She sighed with relief as no one had a fatal injury. "Vincent will escape, and so will Neko," Ceyla assured. "We need to decide what to do next. Cellah, I think you should lead. We saw your friend at the castle, so he might not be far away. And if he is, you'll know better than any of us how to find him. Where do we go first?"
24. OoC: As always, PM me if I need to change anything. IC:Ceyla saw another arrow pierce the dragon's throat. Strangely, it was not shot from Cellah's direction. Each warrior gave it an additional strike. More arrows landed in it from two directions. Much blood flowed from the undeniably dead beast. Ceyla smiled lightly at Dalanius, who returned it briefly. An unconscious girl lay near him. "I'm glad you're here, dalanius. Is she the princess?" Ceyla asked, pointing to the prostrate girl. "I found her in the upper levels of the castle. Vincent might still..." He broke off and looked towards the hill. A lone arrow stood straight up in the ground. No one was there. "Kacela has gone back for Vincent. We cannot bring the princess into possible danger, but neither should we leave our comrades." Cellah and the boys came running up to them. Ceyla smirked at the newly conscious boys. "Reid, Owen, Evan, take the princess to Mecki. The monsters all seem to focus more on us than her." With cold eyes Ceyla continued, "She will arrive safely, or I will personally hunt you down. I can assure you a slow and painful death if she does not." The three men paled but took the princess. Ceyla smirked to herself as they rode off. Dalanius glanced at her and raised an eyebrow. "I can be a very harsh person when the mood strikes," Ceyla said, then turned to Cellah. "Let's go to the castle. We can try to find your harpy friend." They quickly made their way to the castle. They saw Kacela heading towards Vincent as the floor began to split apart. Once again, they were faced with a giant monster. A diamond golem towered over them. Each tried attacking, but their weapons glanced off the hard skin. The creature swang its arm, hitting Kacela. She landed to the floor unconscious. Ceyla looked to Vincent. Rage contorted his features. Black energy formed around his body, and he fired a powerful blast of magic at the golem.
25.
I agree with all of the above. They are rather preppy stores, and expensive! However, if I was rich and preppy (which i'm not, thankfully, not the rich part but the preppy part) I would want to shop at those stores. But since I'm not, I wouldn't shop there if you threatened to kill me.
That is basically how you define preps at my school. If you can afford to spend $20 on $2 worth of cotton, and actully spend that money, then you are a prep. More on topic, I do not care about clothes. At all. Which is unusual for teenage girls my age. I prefer comfort over style, not to mention that there are much better ways to spend my money. I have one pair of tennis shoes, one pair of dress shoes, and most of my shirts are plain red or blue. Clothes do not matter. They are basically tools to give you slight protection and keep you from the elements. I am interested in some clothes, but only t-shirts that have sayings or pictures I like. Hot Topic is okay, but please do not define yourself based on your clothes. In case you did not know, Hot Topic is owned by the same company as Abercrombie & Fitch (or one of the like.) Do not be surprised that faceless corporate executives tell you what does and does not look good in an attempt to make you think the clothes are coll. The people who make clothes are all after your money. Clothing stores are businesses. End of story.
