OoC: This should help cover the NPC's. Write them however you want. IC: Ceyla had found three of the men she fought the day before. These were the best opponents she had faced in this town. The first, Reid, was a lithe and energetic red-head; the second, Owen, had a thick, muscular frame; and Evan, the third, had good speed and a steady hand when using a knife. These men will work for the time being, Ceyla thought, and the others might have found useful recruits, as well. Everyone had split up to search for volunteers. Before Ceyla could look for them, Neko rode up to her. "Orcs are heading for us," the elven assassin quickly exclaimed. "Vincent says we need to meet at the back gate." After relaying the message, Neko rode off again, most likely to look for Dalanius and Cellah. Ceyla turned to three men and authoritatively commanded, "You heard her. If you're serious about helping, go to the back gate. We only need the useful, so don't bother going if you'll weigh us down. I can easily dispose of you if you are useless." "Yes, Miss Ceyla," they replied simultaneously, slightly intimidated by the intense woman. When she turned in the opposite direction from them Reid asked,"Aren't you going with us?" "I want to make sure my other comrades have been notified, then I'll join you." With that said, she turned, mounted her horse, and bolted through the streets.

OoC: You have the right names Illusion, but it is confusing to have three girls' names with C, E, L, and A. And I asked about what we should do in the Underground thread. Ceyla sighed as they four warriors slowed their horses. Vincent and Kacela were still out checking for traps. "Anybody know where we should look first? Vincent told us to find fighters," Ceyla sighed, "but I don't know where to start. None of the men I fought were a challenge, but they might be willing to join." "You were in a fight?" Neko asked. "When?" "I just had some fun with the locals," Ceyla smirked devilishly. "I hate sitting still for too long, so I played with a few brave boys. We might as well ask them."

I think it's great that all of you come togther to do The Otakan News. It shows in the quality of the articles how hard you are working on it. Thanks for giving an interesting read. I don't know if you could do this, but I think it might be interesting if you had some sort of contest either the writers or readers could vote on, maybe for thread of the month? Not that you need to do more work, Nomura. ;) And if you seriously need a reporter for OB Lounge, I would be happy to try my hand at it. Keep up the good work!

A guy's looks aren't that important to me, but I do like someone as tall as I am. I'm about 5'7, so when someone is shorter I feel freakishly tall. That's pretty much it for looks. I do think Asian men are really attractive, though. As to the personality, I prefer guys to be smart, but not neccessarily book-smart. They have to know about my favorite subjects: anime, manga, and video games. I'm a total nerd, and those are (almost) my only hobbies. A sense of humor is a must. I also prefer someone open-minded, agnostic, and accepting. I like to argue, so opinionated boys work better for me, but they still need to care about me. Most important: someone who can put up with me. Most of the time I am really sweet, but I can be arguementative, a smart*** , and I tend to think and say perverted jokes (all the time, which some guys find a little odd for a girl, heh). :animeswea

You said in the RP for my character and digiX's character to find more fighters in the town. Did you mean NPC's or is anyone else joining? If we are recruiting NPC's, do you have any specific personality traits/weapons/etc. you want? And who would write for them?

Neko and Cellah headed towards the stables. Ceyla lingered a moment and walked briskly after them. It would not be fair for the two girls to do all the work, and Dalanius probably wouldn't mind the extra sleep. Vincent and Kacela had taken two of the horses, leaving three, since Cellah did not have a horse of her own. Ceyla brushed and saddled her roan, Neko cared for her white horse, and Cellah readied Dalanius's black horse. "Kacela taught you to ride, right Cellah?" Cellah nodded. Ceyla noticed she looked slightly downcast, but decided not to pry. "We should find you a horse of your own to ride when we go looking for extra help. If you feel comfortable, that is." Turning to Neko she continued,"Would you mind finishing up? I think Dalanius is still asleep." "Sure thing," Neko answered. Ceyla nodded to the elf and went back to the inn. The barman told her Dalanius was still in his room. Ceyla thanked him and found the right lodging upstairs. She knocked once, waited, and knocked again. When she still recieved no answer, she tried to open the door and found it locked. Not too surprising. She took a small metal pick from a pouch around her waist and unlocked it with ease. "I'm coming in now, Dalanius." As she entered she noticed glass scattered across the floor and detcted the lingering scent of alcohol. At her intrusion Dalanius had stirred, sitting up unsteadily in his bed. Ceyla sighed and stepped aross the shattered glass shards. No point in admonishing him. Besides, he probably has one hell of a headache. Sitting down on the edge of his bed she spoke softly,"I was asked to wake you up. If you want to talk about something I'll listen, or if you want me to leave you alone I will. Whatever you want is fine. But I will at least find you something for the hangover I'm sure you have."
See, be careful with this Leon. You definitely don't want to visit the friend zone for very long because it's there where you'll basically become one of her girlfriends and you'll never have a chance.
With all due respect to your advice, Charles, that's not neccessarily true. Just last week one of my friends started dating a guy she knew for years who is her best friend. I know a few couples who knew each other since elementary school and started going out. But they only date because they were attracted to each other, and unfortunately for Leon, this girl does not sound interested. Try to back off from the girl and ask out someone who likes you as much as you like them. Relationships work out much better with two willing people. Unless you are stalking a celebrity, in which case you tie them to a chair in your basement and never let them leave. ;) :naughty:

Congratulation! You now possess the power of invisibility. Unfortunately, you have only enough power to make your skin invisible, and you cannot turn the power off. Everyone calls you a freak, friends and family cannot bear to look at you, and you spend thousands of dollars a day to buy enough make-up to poorly conceal your frightening invisible skin. Money is not a problem for long, though. The government sends their completely invisible FBI unicorns to take you to a lab. Lab rats, as you might know, recieve no payment and have incredibly short life spans. You spend your remaining years with invisible skin on a giant government hamster wheel. I wish I could play chess better than anyone else on Earth.

Name: Siobahn Hargreaves Age: 21 Appearance: [See Attachment] Siobahn has dark reddish eyes, dark brown-black hair, and rarely smiles. Her clothing is usually a dark shade, either black or red. Many people are creeped out when they speak to her because she stares directly into their eyes with her callous, knowing gaze. Side: In Aid of the Anti-Christ Personality: Siobahn does whatever she is told by the cult. She is matter-of-fact and insensitive when speaking; however, this matters little since she rarely speaks. She has never had a friend, and few are willing to try bonding with her. Although she has few thoughts or preferences of her own, she does enjoy watching birds and gardening in her free time. Biography: Siobahn's mother died giving birth to her, leaving Siobahn to be raised by her cold and manipulative father. Her father had been a member of the Anti-Christ's cult for all of his life and raised Siobahn to aid the cult. For most of her life Siobahn lived in seclusion. She only came into contact with her tutors and servants, all of whom were female and given strict order not to show her any affection. On the rare occasions she saw her father, he never once told her he cared about her. Her days were spent learning that only through the world's destruction could it be cleansed. Although she loved nature, she did not know why. Siobahn did not know she had thoughts of her own. She existed to carry out other people's orders. Her father taught her that. At 21 she joined the cult, after her father was certain she would not resist any commands. Alec Triston was rising in power, and the tension would soon come to a head. He was her leader because she was told he was her leader. Siobahn made a wonderful tool. She seemed to have no thoughts of her own. She seemed to show no emotion. She would kill anyone on command, even herself. But even puppets will eventually want to cut their strings.

Name: Teryl "Ryl" Felis Age:18 Genus: Sand Cat Element: Lightning, Metal Occupation: Prior and current job is in weapons repair, being able to fix most weapons from swords to guns. Arms: two 9mm ASPs called Thunder and Clash[click] Melee: Claymore named Discord Appearance: [Below] Teryl stands at 5 ft 5 in and weighs 120 lb. She has a scar running across her back from her left shoulder to right hip, but it is usually covered by her clothing. Yellow ears poke out of her mauve hair. She has a long tail covered in sandy yellow fur and small fangs and claws. Her clothing is form-fitting but still comfortable. Teryl likes to play with her braid. Personality: Teryl is friendly and loves to talk. She does her best to act cheerful even if she is really depressed. Although she enjoys having time to herself, her deepest fear is that she will be left completely alone. She tries--sometimes too hard--to be friends with people, but is afraid of letting someone be too close. She does her best to hide her insecurities. Biography: Teryl's parents died in a fire when she was five. She went to live with her uncle, but he died of illness soon after she arrived. Although he had always been sickly, she began to believe she was bad luck. From that point on she was raised in an orphanage. Teryl tried to live with as much happiness as possible even if it was false happiness. She became friends with the town smith, a kind coyote, who taught her how to fix all manner of weapons, and even how to shoot and use a sword. Her town was one of the many assaulted by the railroad. Teryl helped with a resistance and recieved a scar from one of the grizzlies. The smith helped the resistance as well, and he was the first killed. This brought back the memories of her family dying, impressing upon her further that she was bad luck. In the end, they were no match for the grizzlies. When the Wild Katz came to help her town, she ran into Aria and Seline. They convinced her that it was the railroads fault her friend died, not hers. Teryl's skills with weapons could aid the Wild Katz, and with a little encouragement she joined them. She still has a fear of getting too close to people, but she wants to believe in herself.

Ceyla woke about an hour before dawn. Being social had its perks, but sometimes she felt the need for some solitude. She dressed quickly and went to the window. No one seemed to be moving in the streets below. For a second story, the window was not too far from the ground. Impulsively she balanced on the ledge and jumped down, landing noiselessly. Agility was one of the key traits for an assassin, and she needed to practice whenever possible. Or I'm probably just really weird, she mused. Although she wanted to train, she did not want to stray far from her sleeping comrades. Ceyla decided that as long as no one was around, she might as well train in the street. She practiced fighting shadows, weaving in and out of imaginary enemies. She smiled in the darkness thinking how ridiculous she would look if anyone passed her. Oh well, I need to train. And I can't leave everyone else in case there's some sort of attack. Some of our team will probably have a hangover. She made a mental list of who drank the most. Neko drank three whole jugs, but she's an elf. I don't know exactly how much Kacela had. And she and Neko both like Vincent. Vincent had a head start on drinking, and he doesn't want to hurt either girl. That might be complicated, but they'll settle things eventually. Cellah seemed to keep her head and not drink too much, so she's probably fine. She's a sweet girl. And Dalanius... For some reason, a slight tinge came over Ceyla's cheeks, although it was not visible in the darkness. Dalanius had too much to drink, I'm sure. I still wonder if he'll talk when he's sober. Ceyla returned to the tavern, noting a few people who had passed out at the bar. Thankfully, none of her teammates were among them, which meant they had all gone to bed at some point. By now the sun was up. She went to her room, packed her belongings, and waited downstairs. She sat playing with her stiletto, tossing and catching it, waiting for someone else to get up.
-
Vincent, Kacela, and Cellah had gone to bed, leaving Neko with Ceyla and Dalanius. The elf drank another entire jug by herself and quickly passed out. Ceyla thought that was not a smart thing to do, but Neko was an adult. "I think I'll take her to her room," Ceyla said to Dalanius. She'll feel better sleeping in a bed than on a bar table." "Can you carry her?" the paladin asked. "I am a lot stronger than I look. And she doesn't weigh much at all." Ceyla easily lifted Neko and headed towards the stairs. Before ascending the steps she turned and smiled at him once again. "Make sure you take care of yourself and get some rest. Goodnight, Dalanius." Ceyla sprinted up the stairs without waiting for an answer. After putting Neko in bed, Ceyla went to her own room, bathed, and lay down. Tomorrow will bring something interesting, I'm sure, but hopefully not dangerous, she thought drowsily. I wonder what he... Her thoughts trailed off as she gave in to the weariness of the day.
-
It pleased Ceyla that Dalanius had answered her question. She could tell he was not completely comfortable talking about himself. I think the alcohol's definitely gotten to him, she thought. It would not be fair to ask him questions like this. Ceyla smiled at him, and he smiled quickly in return looking slightly embarassed. Definitely intoxicated, but I'm still really glad he's speaking to me. Hope he keeps it up when he's sober. Beside them she heard Neko mutter about needing a beer. "You know, Neko," she began, "I hate having a hangover. I'm not tipsy at all, and I will not drink any more tonight. If you really want a drink, I am sober enough to keep watch. If not, I think I'll head up to bed." Neko accepted the offer and started drinking immediately. Ceyla once again thought it was more amusing to see the others get drunk.
I'm going to guess that the trip took two days, but the trip back took five days. Here's one: Two identical twin sisters each had a glass of the same drink. Each glass also had the same amount of drink and poison in them. One sister drank all of her drink immediately, while the other sister took her time. The sister who drank it immediately lived, while the other one died. Why? (Keep in mind that there was no antidote involved and neither of the sisters had health problems, nor were they immune to the poison.)
The poison is in the ice of their drinks. The first one drank hers quickly so the ice had no time to melt. The second sister drank hers slowly, so the ice melted and released the poison.

Congratulations! You receive training from Chuck Norris and roundhouse-kick yourself back in time right before Kennedy's assassination. Unfortunately, you are not the Chuck Norris, just his disciple. You cannot catch the bullets in your beard like he can. You are shot through the head and die. JFK does not die from assassination. His head explodes from amazement when he sees someone thinking they can do what Chuck Norris does. I wish I could have the power of riverdance!

Ceyla returned from her walk to find Vincent in a corner sitting close to Kacela. Neko and Cellah both looked a little wistful. I believe they both have a crush on him. This might make things complicated. She sat back next to Dalanius who had also noticed the girls' reactions. Despite his blunt attitude, Ceyla felt refreshingly lighthearted around him. "Vincent's popular within our group, isn't he?" she commented. The swordsman nodded at her. Ceyla wondered how much he had had to drink. He did not seem intoxicated, but people always reacted differently to alcohol. "He is a nice person. Forward, but dependable." "Has he caught your attention as well?" Dalanius asked. Ceyla was slightly surprised by him asking but guessed that the alcohol had some effect on him after all. "From something you said earlier I thought you..." "Oh, you mean at the glade. I was going to say I don't usually want to form bonds with people. I've been ... I guess you could say betrayed by relationships. I like Vincent, but more as a friend. I don't think I could handle someone as flirty as he is." Grinning Ceyla added, "And hopefully he's satisfied with three girls for the moment. I told you something about me, so will you tell me something about you? Doesn't have to be your darkest secret, just tell something about yourself."
Im guessing that its unusual because the paragraphs subject is itself. Heres one: My first is in tea but not in leaf My second is in teapot and also in teeth My third is in caddy but not in cosy My fourth is in cup but not in rosy My fifth is in herbal and also in health My sixth is in peppermint and always in wealth My last is in drink, so what can I be? I?m there in a classroom, do you listen to me?
The answer is teacher, I believe.

Although Ceyla was slightly surprised Dalanius joined them, she was glad for his company. She grinned cheerfully at him, hoping to talk with him more. Neko decided not to drink, which Ceyla thought a good idea. Ceyla drank only small sips of the various liquors her table ordered, not enough to dull her senses, and watered down most of the spirits. She inwardly thought that it would be much more amusing to watch everyone else get drunk, especially the paladins. After the others downed a few rounds, she stepped outside for some fresh air. I doubt they'll notice my absence, she thought wryly, since they've had more to drink than fishes. She took a walk through the empty streets, happy with her current comrades. The moon shone brightly, casting everything in a silvery glow. I think I could get used to having allies, she thought, already attached to them.

OoC:I hope you don't mind me adding your character in my post, Illusion. If there are any problems I can change it. IC:Ceyla's interest in the city began to wane. She had spent the last four years of her life travelimg, and one town felt the same as any other. The others had paired up for the time being, so she decided to investigate the outskirts of the town. After a half hour's exploration, she found a peaceful glade close to the town's entrance. Ceyla thought it would be a nice place for some solitary training. The only problem was someone else had found the spot first. "Sharpening your skills, Dalanius?" Ceyla greeted the paladin. "You seem to be very introverted. You haven't talked with us very much." Dalanius looked up from practicing his sword strikes. "The word is dedicated. I am dedicated to serving the king. And none of us have really talked that much." "Then we should start talking, shouldn't we?" "Alright. Why do you have such a large bag of money?" "I earn my living through fighting. They were betting on fights, so I entered and bet on myself. I won, of course." Dalanius furrowed his brow. "You should not gamble when you are on a mission for His Majesty. It is not--" "Proper?" Ceyla interjected. "No it isn't, but I am not technically a soldier. I am an assassin, a sword-for-hire. Although I think it wouldn't be so bad to work for the king all the time." Ceyla smirked. "I'm having fun on this mission. I actually like my comrades. Especially.... Well, it's just unusual for me to get along with everyone." "They are worthy warriors." Ceyla spoke to the paladin for a few more minutes before they headed back to town together. Dalanius was straightforward and loyal to the king, both traits she admired. They walked to the tavern to join Neko and Vincent.
I wish I was a Bond villain.[/color']
You are now a Bond villain. The call you...The Boss. Unfortunately, you were made into the weakest Bond villain ever. Not only do you have five extra nipples, a lazy eye, and are paralyzed because your lower half is encased in bronze, you also have the rare Exploding Sickness. When ever you touch something it explodes. You'd think this would aid you in killing 007, but it's not. Every time you move you blow yourself up. Bond doesn't have to worry about you because you just made your entire evil lair explode. Congrats on the ice powers! Too bad you cannot control your freezing powers properly. After encasing your family, dog, and entire neighborhood in ice, the government decides you are a danger to society. They send the secret unicorn assassins after you. At the precise moment the unicorns find you, your ice powers turn on you. You are simultaneously pwned by your own ice powers and the horns of F.B.I. unicorns. I wish I could write, publish, and make money off of my novel.

Entered in a contest online. And the people online would never lie about my poem being good to try to get money from me, right? Written in about 5 minutes. _______________________________________________ Let Go I always asked, "What's wrong?" and you'd smile and say, "Nothing" and that's all I'm left with now. It isn't hard to tell a lie but the truth is impossible. But as your cold body lies before me and the dirt is placed over your grave I know I will never hear what I so desperately wished to hear. All I can do is let go.
and since one of them was a valedictorian, they say one prank like that shouldn't ruin the rest of his life.
First off, people should not be given preferential treatment when they act like morons, whether they are valedictorian or in juvenile detention. You cannot ignore potentially harmful pranks just because a kid has a high GPA. Second, you're not allowed to prank someone just because you disagree with them. Making a dry ice bomb is obviously not safe if it blows up. You cannot let someone do that without any consequences. Being valedictorian does not mean you can act however you want and be a complete and total moron. He cannot commit potentially dangerous pranks when he thinks a teacher is a "biotch." This guy is practically an adult, too. I'm 15, and even I'm smart enough to know that adults can't do whatever they want.

1. What is going to happen the story? I assume your character will find out he's Zylon's son. 2.Are any of the characters going to have to die? (I hope not.) 3.How do you want the ending to turn out? Just curious. And pm me if I post something that conflicts with what you want.
