[COLOR=darkred][SIZE=1]LOL, I LOVED this movie. It kept me laughing the whole way through. I have to say Ray Ramano, John Liguizamo, and Dennis Leary did great in this movie. I wasn't expecting it to be THAT good. John L was my favorite character in the movie. He just played his role brilliantly. Even Jack Black had a bit in there (for those who don't know - Tenatious D - singer/songwriter/actor - stars in the best comedy ever - Saving Silverman - WATCH THAT MOVIE). He plays the mangy tiger in that pack (I forget his name of course). Anyways. . there were a few cheesy parts in this movie, but what movie is flawless? (besides Star Wars?) I plan on getting this when it comes out to DVD. It is just too good to pass up ^_^[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkred][SIZE=1]I watched this movie opening night. I like this movie, though it didn't come close to Blade (the original). I thought they tried to put too many 'talkers' in the movie. What I mean by this, is that they tried to get everyone talking in the movie, and they didn't really develop any of the characters into anything special. As for the storyline. Well, I suppose it was a pretty formulaic(sp?) movie. I could see what was going to happen before it happened, and I was dissapointed. There were a few good parts in the movie, but overall, I kept getting dissapointed and dissapointed throughout the movie. Oh well. . I might get the trilogy after they make Blade 3 =P Oh, one more thing. . The wresting moves - STUPID AND POINTLESS. I can not believe all the rednecks that started cheering when he did those moves *smacks forehead* I don't hate wrestling, I just think it would have been better left OUT of this movie. /sigh[/SIZE][/COLOR]

Fear was well played in this movie, and the zombies were really well done ^_^ Milla Jovavich(sp) did really awesome as well. Her character was MUCH better then I had originally hoped she would be, and I am happy that my doubts about her character were not fulfilled. [COLOR=darkred][SIZE=1]From what I read on IGN.com, the next two games in line for Final Fantasy will be coming to PS2 (i.e. FF XI and FF XII - I guess) As for Nintendo, they will most likely be getting Final Fantasy Unlimited, in which I am very much looking forward to. I am not the biggest fan of the FF series (ya ya, shoot me), so his looks to be very interesting indead. On a side note, has anyone else gotten a vibe that Nintendo is sorta using their GBA to help Nintendo GAMECUBE a bit? ^_^ I really don't care, but I just think that it is funny that a little hand-held system is being used as a tool to help the consol (Note: this may be making the case I am trying to make seem a bit extreme. . soo. . don't read THAT far into it =P)[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkred][SIZE=1]Hmmm. . I have to say that Nintendo has always been able to do their game controls very well, no matter the system. While true, Nintendo doesn't really have to 'set' analog joysticks, I can easily see them using the C Pad to assist with - perhaps the view of Samus. I really don't see any problem in that. No matter what game you play, or how the controls are set up, you get used to it. I have had NO problems with the GAMECUBE controls, and prefer that controller over both the PS2 and the X-Box. Call me a fanboy, but it is a great controller. As for the X-Box, I have to go back to the same complaints that I have always had. The size of the controller is way too big for comfort, the edges meet at points, causing it to hurt the hand much sooner then any other controller (sort of reminds me of the original NES controller, with the corners). The buttons are way too small, and smooshed too close together. I have played a few games, and noticed that not even on purpose, I was sliding my hands onto the wrong buttons. It upset me greatly! How am I supposed to enjoy a game when I have to worry about WHERE my buttons are, and having to set down the controller every five seconds to massage my hands? Honestly though, like I said, I might be called a fanboy, but I really do like the Nintendo controller. It is perfect for ME, and that is what matters. As for the button lay-out, Nintendo, Retro, Capcom, whoever. . they will ALL find a workout that will do justice for the said game. And I have no doubt that these games will be great because of them. ^_^ [/SIZE][/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkred][SIZE=1]To be honest, even from the first shots and movies I saw of Metroid Prime, I was really looking forward to this game. I am a big FPS fan, and involving the Metroid world into this was just icing on the cake. I then thought a minute about it, and figured - wait. . can they make Metroid work 3-D and FPS?? Then I thought about it, and figured - with Nintendo helping, and Retro working mainly on this, the answer was definitely YES. As for the recent batches of shots, I am SOOOOOOO impressed with what they have done, and I really can't wait to see this new movie that they are going to put out. Even more, if I never see another shot or video on it, I honestly think that I will still get it! ^_^ Fanboy, sure, label me as you will. . but I can tell a good game when I see one, and this one looks GREAT! I really like how they made the two good guys really awesome, but vulnerable to attacks (Don't worry, not going into any details). So the Obi-wan we see in Episode 4 is mearly a spirit of the dead Obi-wan... and you remember how Qui gon spoke of the profecy that will bring balance to the force... they insinuate Anakin for that, but it's not... it's Luke... actually it's Luke and Leia... the twins.... at least i think... but Obi-wan's spirit helps Luke in his quest, his destiny as he says.... and I think Obi-wan realizes this in episode 2 or 3... that Anakin isn't the bringer of balance to the force.... and so something happens.... Obi-wan dies... his spirit is the Ben Kenobi you see in Episode 4 who helps Luke in his training and to become what the legend predicted.... to bring balance to the force... or what remains of it. There will be a new Sith that comes about, and starts to cause trouble. I already know that there is a different Fett in this movie, though his name escapes me. He is the one you see flying backwards, his back to the huge building in the trailor. I think Boba Fett is also in this. I personally believe the Fett's are hired to kill Obi wan so that Anikan will be able to be turned to the Dark Side, but I doubt Obi will die, and his character remains till episode 4 where he is really killed off. As for Anikan, obviously he falls for Queen Amidalla, and they hide it, but I am guessing it is discovered. Maybe during the movie, she realizes she is preganent and hides Luke at Tatooine (though it may be early for his character to be even mentioned), and even Leah with some other royal family. As for the Jedi's, I really think Anikan is the one who starts to kill them all off, with the exception of another mysterious Sith that should be around somewhere. Darth Sidious (aka - Emperor Palpatine) will most likely be inforcing some messed up policies in the senate, and that the clone wars is his idea of trying to take over of the universe. Just my thoughts =P Though I suppose it is anyone's guess, and I don't really want to be right on this ^_^ I sorta spoiled the first movie by reading the books put out a week before it was in theaters. But now that I know the storyline behind it. . 0.o woah - Lord of the Rings 2 - Looking forward to this one. . last one left me hanging, and I didn't expect that from a 3 hour movie! >_< (and no, I never read the books) - Spider Man - X-Men 2 - no telling when that will be out. - We were Soldiers - 40 Days and 40 Nights - Men in Black 2 As for Rollerball - I liked it, though they tried to hard to take a somewhat serious movie, and add an action element to it. It sorta didn't mix well, though I didn't think it was that bad. As for Queen of the Damned - I thought the movie was very good. A bit slow at parts, but they did well with the acting and everything. The special effects were rather cheesy with the Vampires, but I really didn't mind to much. (Oh yeah. . music was top notch in this movie too - me and a friend were singing along to a few songs *cough*) Still have to see Hart's War and a few others.
