now we all know that the n64 is a quality machine with many quality games, but were you actually disappointed by it? As a console, it has not sold very well, particularly in the UK, what could the reasons be? maybe nintendo needs to change its image, after all, it is known as a kind of "kiddies" console, what with mario, donkey kong, banji, etc. and maybe it is a kiddies console, but the fact remains that as childish as the games may seem, they are very, very good. If the game cube is going to survive the console war, it has to learn from the N64's mistakes, that the public doesn't like childish games anymore, they want more mature games, nintendo have shown that they can have some very mature games that are also excellent, an example would be perfect dark, and perhaps even conkers bad fur day, which I think is still kind of a cutesy game. The N64 may not have sold well, but it has done good enough that it didn't end with nintendo's bankruptcy, like sega did. Although in my opinion, nintendo was only saved from bankruptcy from the popularity of the pokemon games....

James is correct, if you have a US ps2 then you can view all US dvd's, same goes with UK ps2's, but if you were lucky enough to get a japanese ps2 when it first came out, then you can watch [I]any[/I] dvd because of a mix up that occured when they made the ps2's....

maybe it will be both of them? at different times in the game so you could further the plot, sounds cool and if its a japan only release then I'm gonna get it imported....

oh man, 500 for a custom avatar? that just doesn't sound right, and I should have been celebrating my 3000th post by now, but thanks to a few grade A morons that is not the case....

yup, I won it the first time round, can't remember how many points I earned though, I killed that really big beast last which got me something like 64 points, enough to win the contest....

Tifa is the best character, followed closely by Sephiroth....

you will also get a new jehuty suit in the sequel, since the old one self destructed at the end of the first game, and I have a feeling viola will be back....

the only thing I was stuck on in onimusha was that **** puzzle the girl has to do when the guy is trapped in the room that is being filled with water, I slapped myself when I realized how easy the puzzle was....

I remember getting stuck in bof3 for a LONG time at the castle, when you try to sneak in at night, ah memories....

1. GT3 2. Onimusha 3. Zone of the Enders most ps2 games so far have disappointed me....

if they do release ff on other consoles then I seriously doubt that square won't release it on the ps2 as well, they can't afford not to really as the ps2 is one of the "big" consoles out on the market, so the way I see it, we will be seeing ff11 on ps2 and game cube, and possibly the x box....

I know that this pic belongs in the ff section of the board, and it actually is in the ff section of the board, but I wanted a wider range of opinions than that of ff fans....

apart from bebop gaiden, the other 2 animes do not interest me....
