ugh, this happened to me earlier today.... I was walking with my friends towards the bus stop to catch the bus to uni, I kept looking back to see if the bus was coming, I looked back and I could see the bus coming into the distance, so I just turned around and began to jog, no sooner had I turned my had that I hit a lamp post, hard, my head still hurts....

They went looking for violent games because those games fed their desire for violence. .[/color][/size] [/B][/QUOTE] those kids in that incident were indeed influenced by doom, or had an unhealthy addiction to it anyway, but I think they were definately mentally disturbed, if I remember correctly, one of their shotguns had the name "Arlene" carved on it, who is in fact, a character from the doom novels, I know this because I have read the books.... anyway, the old issue of video gaming violence, the way I see it, if parents let little 5 year old timmy play an 18+ rated game such as GTA for example, then its their own damn fault whatever he gets himself into, games have age ratings for a reason, and if your going to buy an 15/18+ game for your little child, then your putting them at risk, basically, its the same with films, although parents do seem to look at films better than games, in the fact that they wouldn't let little timmy watch an 18+ film for their safety, which is stupid considering they would let them play GTA or resident evil and not give a crap about it.... the way I see it, the media has no right to critisise what should and should not be in games, its a free country, and developers do know their limits, and if you look at most gaming cases its something like "my son has been traumatised by a game" but they wouldn't say what the game is, which is 10 times out of 10, is a game they shouldn't have been playing in the first place....

although ff tactics may be a perfect ff game, it is NOT, I repeat, NOT a ff game, it is not part of the series, it is just a sort of side story kind of thing, if it was a proper ff game, then it would have been called ff8 or whatever, seeing as it was released before 8....

welcome to the boards, fellow UK'er.... back to the subject, yeah, I've had plenty of embarrassing situations, one I can think of happened some 4 years back when I was in school in year 11, final assembly to hand out people's awards and stuff, I came in stoned (go figure) and when I was called up to the stage, I went up the steps, walked to the teacher to get my award, and....fell off the stage >_< man, that brings back memories....

I have many stories of the elderly, the most recent one is this one.... I'm standing at the bus stop minding my own business, and this old man starts walking towards the bus stop, he stops right behind me and looks at the bus arrival timetable, he then asked me "how often does the 66 come by here?", I looked at the timetable and in BIG writing it said "no.66 to arrive here every 7 minutes", anyway, I told him it comes every 7 minutes, and he said "thanks, I don't have my glasses on, you see, I left them at home", I looked at him strangely, he was WEARING glasses....

dunno about that, never really tried it, and I haven't heard anyone else talking about an alternate ending either....

a few years back me and a few of my friends went into this beat up old house, supposedly haunted, it was dark, and the air inside the house somehow smelt different, the place was also a lot hotter than it was outside, which was freezing cold, noone had been living in the house for years so why it was so hot inside is anyone's guess, even all the windows had been boarded up, anyway, we slowly walked around the bottom floor of the house when we began to hear weird noises, 2 of them, 1 was the sound of something banging upstairs, and the other was a sort of low childish scream, then we just heard a really big banging noise upstairs and my friends just did a runner out of the house, I remained and walked up the stairs, the place was completely trashed, old newspapers were littered, the bed was smashed, the wallpaper was peeling, and it had the most intense odour I had smelt in my entire life, smelled kind of like sour lemons, after seeing nothing I was about to make my way down the stairs when I suddenly heard the banging noise again coming from the room next to me, I stopped and looked into the room, nothing, and then, that low childish scream came again and I saw something white just floating in the middle of the room and disappearing a few seconds later, I don't know what I saw, I just walked back out of the house and said nothing of it....

heh, lets just say I have my sources....

they don't really use any type of fighting style in the series, its just simple punches and kicks, and a few stances every now and then, although in early dragonball, when gohan was teaching chibi son gokou, I believe he said kenpo, or something....

heh, pretty cool comics dbzman, I liked the piccoro and 17 one, keep it up....

the ending you see is the ending you get, there is no other ending, zone of the enders 2 is in the works though....

hmm, my biggest vanity would have to be my video gaming skills, particularly in fighting games, also my drawing skills and the ability to write a good fanfic, or even a story.... I like my tattoo as well, I kind of see them (I have 2) as a mark of myself....

about a year ago, I was on a search engine searching for zelda stuff, and it lead me to theotaku.com's absolute zelda, I never noticed the otakuboards.com logo until early may though....

hmmm, haven't seen you in quite a spell, kinda thought you got bored of otaku or something....
