So yeah, did a search, didn't see anybody talking about this here, but it's pretty addictive around the office here. you go to [url]http://www.mybrute.com/[/url] and create a character on the fly. Its all randomly generated, as far as I can tell, on the looks. You can keep clicking random until you find one you like, then click color to change the color. After that. Your character is created. You can only fight 3 times per day (6 on your first day I believe). Characters have a variety of weapons, skills, and pets that they can have. From what I gather, you get 1 thing per level, and it's random. The 3 fights per day thing is kind of weak, but you can make multiple characters. Also, if you sign up through somebody elses page, you become their "pupil" and they become your "master," but Im not really sure how that works. Supposedly you get more XP through eachother or something. Theres clans, but you have to be at least level 10 to start a clan, so if we get to 10 we can start an Otakuboards one Anyway, if you come across any interesting skills/weapons, post them here. You can even link to replays of previous matches that might be interesting. So far my guy just got 2 simple things, a staff and a dagger, but one of my other toons got a dog for a pet that seems pretty good.

I didn't use your name in this post or mentioned the fact that I had my thread locked. lol. I just saw a opportunity to make a helpful suggestion and took advantage of it. I think it should be encouraged for members to speak there mind , otherwise it holds a forum back from growing and evolving. It doesn't mean that moderators can't be open to suggestion either. If it looked like I was out to make someone look bad, then I do apologize . I honestly don't understand where that impression came from though. Also I would like to suggest more ideas if that is ok. :)

Maybe give role-players a chance to fix there OOC thread before it's locked ? I know every member should read the rules before they post , but locking threads doesn't help members get there act together. IT just makes them feel like they don't belong and gives them a reason to join a more easy going community. Perhaps give them the choice to either fix there mistake or they will have the thread locked. That in my mind sounds a lot more fair. What do you think ?

Saw a similar topic in the comics and books boards so I thought, "Why not have one here in the movies board?" The best one for me is the one between Roddy Piper and Keith David in "They Live". They really kicked the **** out of each other.

A section where members could put there Deviant Art galleries or Myspace would be nice. Perhaps make it a subforum in the art section , that would allow members on here to become better friends. And it wouldn't be leeching if you made it a ten post requirement to post in it. Just my two cents. XD

This is my favorite anime/ manga of all time. I love the art work. I think it's original and unique. The sory is dark , just the way I like it. I'm up to the part where Guts see's the God Hand for the first time, and the band of the hawk is murdered in front of his eyes. Anyone else here read the entire thing ? I think Guts is the best anime character of all time. I don't think any anime character has it as bad as him. The **** that poor guy had to live through, is so ****** up. It was August 29th 2005 , it was the first report, a man had gone berserk in a mall in a small N.Y. town. He atacked 3 people bitting them the last person had a chunk taken out of their neck and bleed to death. Trevor opened his bottle of champagne and whistled at the days work. His bandits and him had caught what looked to be a rich noble. Trevor took a sip of the hostage's liquor and sighed. Life didn't get much better then this. Trevor took a peek out of the tent, and hollered for one of his men. "Hey Griffin! Bring some more of those drinks!! That noble has some mighty tasty liquor!" When Trevor looked around he found his men staring at two strangers. Trevor stumbled out of the tent and pointed his finger at intruders. "What the hell is going on here?" "These two men here killed Bill and Lexus!" Griffin yelped. Trevor pushed past his men to get a good look at who was pissing him off. One was a tall man with a long blue cape, a white mask covered his face. The other had Long snow white hair reached past his waist. Ok the rules here are basic. Characters. Your a normal human from anywhere and any walk of life.No special powers or magic. just weapons. you can have anything from a hammer to a rocket launcher.Ammo is an issue, you will run out and will have to find more.(and im thinking its hard to find rockets lying around.) [b]This is a Debate and Discuss Anime Thread.[/b] I just got done watching Jupiter Jazz my fourth time. After possessing the whole DVD set for about two years now, and not having watched it for a long while, I decided to dig the DVDs up again and watch the whole series another time. After my third time with the whole series, I can sincerely say this is THE best anime series of all time. Actually, not just in anime, but in the whole space of media, Cowboy Bebop remains to outrank so many movies, games, and books. I used to be an "otaku" in my middle school years and used to obsess over all different anime series. I outgrew most of them and now view most anime series as plain, predictable and generic. But, Cowboy Bebop was and still is truly a passion of my life, along with my friends, family and music. There's just so much I gained from watching the series, whether it be human insight, a good jazz soundtrack or something else that may be indescribable. I sincerely believe people who say Cowboy Bebop is overrated haven't seen the whole series more than one time. Each watch-through, you gain more. You notice facial expressions, certain pieces of dialog, little quirks here and there that reveal so much about each character. Cowboy Bebop is character. A unique one that displays a deep range of the most profound human emotions. Obsessive anger, jadedness, destructive love, and more. Spike is not just a generic laid back bad ***. He gets worried and impulsive. He sometimes likes to be goofy. Sometimes, he even acts like a huge dork or makes corny jokes. But that's just the way people are. Faye is just like many women out there. Underneath that bad ***, independent exterior, Faye is simply looking for company, a family, a group of people with which she can take comfort in. Jet is a father figure. Although he tries to hide his care for Faye, Spike and Ed as much as possible, his compassion shows as he looks over his partners in bounty hunting like his own children. There is so much more about Cowboy Bebop that I can rant upon. I can write a 10 page essay on one episode if I wanted to, but I won't. Plus, I suck at ranting.
