I just find online dating a sad excuse for having someone by their side 24.7.365 But I do understand, if someone has a close [not romantic but very close] relationship with someone else, and they try to talk with them as much as possible. what I dont understand: why cant these kids wait?! o_0'

*sigh* The ninties... A time where, Green Day And Blink182 were actually very good bands, a time where people thought of other people running around in funky coloured suits and beating the crap out of each other was awesome, plus everyone got along real well. but the most important fact of the ninties: The Price Of Gasoline Was Low.

I really dont eat pie much, but when I get the chance, pumpkin pie washed down with ginger ale hits the spot. [Fruit Pizza and Hawaiian Punch is pretty damn good too. ^_^]

it's weird. I think I've developed an intolerance to Frappuccinos. Today I drank a venti chocolate chip, and it left this bloated feeling in me, so I purged it out of my system, in the parking lot of a Home Depot. there lay two different coloured puddles, one pink and white [due my little brother ordering a strawberries and creme frap] and the other looking of mud and stomach acid [from the chocolate chip frap] I also screamed before and during my vomit session, they [people leaving the cars into the store] looked at me as if I were schizophenic.

ok, here I go on my essay about why Bloc Party are the best art rock band out there. the instrumentation is amazing! it's so damn hard to put into words, and the message on some of the songs reflect this very well. For example: Waiting For The 7.18 also, their music is very danceable, even some of the ballads. Silent Alarm: Which is their first record, has this very aggresve feel to it, with this record they manage to attack various things that people deal with in everyday life, with the very disco-y sound:

Realtionships [Like Eating Glass / Blue Light / This Modern Love]
American Government (the president specifically) / Economics [Helicopter /The Price Of Gasoline ]
Ecstacy / Cocaine / Meds Abuse [Positve Tension / So Here We Are / She's Hearing Voices]
One Night Stands [Banquet]
Turning Lives Around [Plans / Luno]
The Crushing Power Of Routine [Compliments]
A Weekend In The City: Their Sophmore album, deals with life in London, with a more darker and violent sound:

The Crushing Power Of Routine [Song For Clay (Dissapear Here) / Waiting For The 7.18]
One Night Stands [Kreuzburg / The Prayer]
Relationships [Sunday / I Still Remember]
Cocaine [On]
Terrorism [Hunting For Witches]
Clichés [Uniform / The Once And Future King / Secrets ]
Suicide [SRXT]
Racism [Where Is Home?]
The artwork they pick on for the singles, and album covers also reflect the themes of the albums [as seen in my avitars and signature banners] very well.

Album: Silent Alarm: Remixed Artist: Bloc Party I want to rebuy this album cos it accidentaly got shipped with my realtives to the Far East, best remix record to date. It's got as much energy as the orginal record, but it has this club feel to it. I love the opening track: Like Eating Glass [Zapatista Mix] / Bloc Party Vs. Ladytron. It sounds like they playing five blocks away. from there it goes into this very earthy feel, as opposed to the frantic of the orginal, I'm not saying that's bad, it's just sets people up for A Weekend In The City.
With all due respect, be careful what you say Mr. Felix. Give or take five decades and you'll be what you hate.

It's Mr. Santiago,
in the year 2057 [approx. 50 years from now (five decades)], I'd be peacefully sleeping in my grave.
but all stupid things aside, what bothers me, is when little kids start up on drugs, having casual sex, and doing things they could be doing so much further down the road. it also bothers me when I log into xbox live, begin a matchmaking game, and run into a bunch of screaming prepubecent teens.
this story doesn't mainly involve my puke, but... my dog's. Yes, my dog.
weird, as I was reading your post, I realised nearly the samething happened to me. I just got out of bed and recovering from very minor bacon burns [they were right when they said never go downstairs and cook bacon without your shirt on] so, I'm just sitting around when my puppy jumps into my lap and just throws up all over my shorts. no signs of warning, Luxor [named after the casino, obviously] just let himself go, then what does he do? he walks off like it never happened. I sat there in disbelief, with dog vomit all over my shorts, and a little bit on my stomach. my brother, who was sitting next to me while it happened, just laughed his head off.

This week it's a Bloc Party song: Blue Light [and the Anti Gravity Mix] I picked on this one cos I've been feeling very depressed with what had happened yesterday in Virgina, and now I've got this sense of paranoia, this song calms the nerves a bit. from my prospective it sounds like a cry for help, a scream for complete and total silence and harmony, it just makes me want to feel good to still be alive....it also makes me want to hold my girlfriend in my arms, again.

I first heard about it yesterday, I shrugged it off. them I heard about it twice this morning [in history and criminal justice] I shrugged it off, again. my intial reaction was: " Dude, I've heard
****
like this from the middle east for quite awhile now, it's just the same crap...with fewer gunners and it's domesticated." then this afternoon while I was hanging out with a friend, he was like: "what if that happened at our school, dude?" that changed the entire perspective....a little bit. I mean there's gun violence at my school nearly everday, but no one ever goes through with shooting anyone here. after alot of strenous thought, it hit me: "what if my older sister is going to go to that school? what if this happened at my older brother's school? what if...?" now, I feel bad about what had happened to the victims. I just dont feel lucky that it wasnt my school. Now: The Prayer Artist: Bloc Party Album: A Weekend In The City

I also cant stand overweight people, I dont know why...but it just bothers the living daylights out of me, maybe cos they just threw their lives down the drain to eat alot of unheathly stuff, plus they usually smell too. =/ what usually gets me though is old people, they nag too much. [I know that sounded cruel, but Felix has the right to speak his mind right?]

I picked: The Price Of Gasoline By Bloc Party, cos it has this very aggressive sound and loud message the track has, it also has this very 1979 feeling to it. Honourable Mentions

Survivalism / Nine Inch Nails | Year Zero
The Writing On The Walls / Underoath | Define The Great Line
Nine Thou [Superstars Remix] / Styles Of Beyond | Need For Speed Most Wanted Soundtrack
I find it rediculously stupid that it takes ramen three minutes to cook. if this is "the food of the gods", they why make me wait three minutes for it?

I had another to add to my list, this one was good the first spin, but immediately after I listened through it the second time, I was like: "zomfg. what have they done? shoot me now." the song is: Banquet [Pussycat Dolls Remix] / Bloc Party it isnt necessarly a remix, but more of a mashup between Banquet [Phones Disco Edit] by Bloc Party and Dont 'Cha by The Pussycat Dolls. man, I really loved that rework of Banquet too, why? why? why?! you can find it by clicking here I know there's alot of of cool remixes and demos you'd want to click on, but this one sticks out of the list like a really bad cover by a screaming whiney emo band.

"Well, you like me? I like you and all...but not on that level....No, I'm not saying that I dont like you, I'm just saying that, I dont think a romantic relationship will work out between us, although this friendship level stuff is working out very very well."

I dont like the fact that I cant eat meat today or tommorow. I also dont like it when people cut me off during Good Friday, I'm not supposed to be mad on that day. also, I dont like to hear people ask what relgion I follow. espically people I barely know. [so I tell them I dont follow a religion, when in reality I'm a christian, I just dont like admitting it to people.] what really gets me though is when people mistake me for being asian, when in reality I'm more hispanic and pacific islander, I mean look at this picture!

sure, why not? it might sound easy enough. I really like the jump in/drop out thing. Santiago's on board.

this week it's another Bloc Party song, off their new album: A Weekend In The City : Where Is Home? I pick this song, cos it has very disturbing lyrics [which manage to exploit the truth] about racial bias. plus, the violins, violas and the cello clashing with the electric guitars, the bass guitar, the drums and the electronic effects toward the end of the song, make the song sound like a much more aggressive version of Helicopter.

This summer, I'll be working [bagging groceries, get at least somewhere between $40 - $60+ depending how many hours I work, and what day of the week it is] I'll be traveling alot too, [as of now] this year it's going to be:

Orlando
Wakiki
Los Angeles
Vancouver
[hopefully, I'll add Barcelona, and London to my list] the only cool place out of those three is Vancouver, British Colombia. I'm heading out there to go to EA Canada! and hopefully I'll go see some shows. there will be one I will see: A Weekend In The City | Bloc Party | The Palms Hotel And Casino | 13June07 it wouldnt hurt to go to the cinema either, the only movie that has caught my attention is the new transformers film, due by indepence day. ^_^ I need to get some tennis practice in too. I get to drive too! WOO HOO! the only thing, above all else [up there with the Bloc Party show] I'm very excited for is: Ash is coming to visit [or stay it's in limbo right now] and my brother is finally coming home! [but moving to northern california] oh, I'm going to work on music too. and the norm, hanging with friends, partying, playing video games, DDR'ing til I collaspse, etc, etc.

Sugar We're Going Down | Fall Out Boy
A Little Less Candles [A Little More 'Touch Me'] | Fall Out Boy
This Aint A Scene, It's An Arms Race | Fall Out Boy
Throw Some D's | Mims
there are more to this list but...I dont like to drone on. [I also Despise any/all types of rap and R & B music] those are some of the songs that just makes me want to puke. I just dont like Fall Out Boy, they whine too much. [I know this, from experience, try living with a sister who was obessed with them, til I made her listen to Bloc Party] the Freshman class at my school say "throw some D's on that!" or the variation, "Throw some cheese on that!" in Spainsh class, more than recommended. :animeangr
It's like saying 'penis' [or somethig stupid] in a room full or freshmen
they either, laugh, or beat the the life out of it. one question arises though, I understand making something bigger...but where the hell does chesse come from?! - Felix.

Everytime I have to get on a plane to change stations, I throw up. not in the air. but still on the ground. waiting for everyone to board, this is because of my anxiety. this also happens when the plane is taxi'ing into the airport. I also threw up in my dad's van on my way to my house from the airport. wasnt pretty. which also brings to mind: my friend threw up in my dad's new volvo S40. all I heard was: "omg, I dont...feel so..." then all I saw was the stream of stomach acid and ramen fly out. all over this other guy riding in the car. some of it did get on seats....dad wasnt happy about it. there are more, but... I dont like to drone on. - Felix

I just cant stand girls who obsess over anime guys, I see it nearly everyday. jeez. so damn annoying to hear some girl squeal about how hot riku or sora are.... WAKE UP: THEY'RE JUST DRAWINGS! then there are the kids who pick on me, cos I suffer from medical handicaps...this also includes those kids who ask why I limp all the time. If I dont want to talk about it. go away and rot somewhere else. damn. and the cliques I see at school, so many kids have the emo look/goth, claiming that they are "individuals", the preps who have to know anybody/everybody, then there are the "gangsters" who just really iritate me with the over excessive cursing, and try to act tough when in reality: they work at the Micky D's down the street, still live with their parents and spin a backstreet boys cd for like the millionth time. other things include:

hip hop
stuck up people
girls who play hard to get
people on their mobile phones while driving
people who eat while driving
there's more...but I dont want to drone on.

This week it's a four way tie between: The Paperthin Hymn | Anberlin The Once And Future King | Bloc Party Reinventing Your Exit | underØATH The Pioneers | Bloc Party why I say this is bevcause I'm beginning to drop the electro from my playlist after recently purchasing A Weekend In The City by Bloc Party.

this week yet, another Bloc Party song: Vision Of Heaven I chose this track cos, it sounds like the best semi-acoustic track I have ever heard, the lyrics refelct the song, but dont reinforce the pwnage of the song in general.
-
Bloc Party. give them a listen. they are the best indie band out there. I would describe the, but it's just too hard to describe the amount of pwnage they deliver in every song.
