Very few breeds of dog can rival in loyalty to my dog's trusty breed, the golden retriever =). He is extremely spirited with other dogs, but pretty much does commands on his own without having to hear words at this point and always comes back when off his leash. He's more my mom's dog than mine though. My next breed will more than likely be a jack russel or welsh corgi. The g/f isn't a fan of big dogs and I count myself lucky in the first place that she even agreed to one of those two.

Aw hell, worse things over here have happened over xbox games. Including a shooting or two. But most of the people in my generation, even within one or two behind and ahead of me, have enough respect for their own parents to not even hit or curse at them. Out of all the crap that goes on over here, filial piety is quite solid with most of us borough inhabitants. -
Teen charged with assaulting mom with taco

If that was my kid, I would have been the one going to jail had the cops been called. As hysterical as assault by taco is, the parents must have done one crappy *** job with this kid, it's already safe to assume this kid has never seen a beating while growing up to teach him anything. In any case, just another ridiculous example of the degeneration of our oh so hopeful future generations. I knew something was up when every school i graduated from hit the news for new levels of violence and rape starting the exact year after my senior years. The worst i have ever done concerning my parents was cursing in front of them. I never put a hand on either of them...or food. -

The biggest thing to take into consideration here is that everyone is different and will react differently to the same situations as others will. People have opinions on flirting that occur concerning themselves directly that fork from their opinions on it when it concerns those around them, and it all really has to do with the kind of person they are in a relationship. Your best friend's girl can either be easily observed as at least a little jealous or might simply have something against you personally. I don't know whats going on personally between you two but if there isn't any animosity passed the flirting issue than you just have to take into consideration that she feels this way and since she is the one that is involved with the guy, it would be proper to respect her feelings about it and at least try to come to a means of compromise if you cannot stop flirting completely. If that is your personality type, then just try to cut out a lot of the physical part of interaction. If it is simply a trust issue involving only him, and not really aimed at you, then they need to talk it out amongst themselves and you can honestly omit yourself from that whole situation since you don't need to suffer any of the stress or consequences of that whole ordeal. If you still want to flirt with him, then do it discreetly until they work out their crap. But the stress that you can come into by not even being involved in the real issue at hand between them is something you definitely do not want, and more importantly do not need. It seems like this is the first kind of this situation you've run into so it is safe to assume you've acted as such before and everything had been ok, so it isn't really fair to question whether or not flirting amongst friends is ok in general. As long as you know when and where is right, who it's affecting and how it is affecting them. Much more discretion is involved in flirting when it pertains to your friends. Not like with someone you just meet in a bar or club. I have been through essentially every type of what flirting amongst friends can transition to. I've made out with friends, slept with friends, just flirted a little, though have never done anything more than flirt or rudimentary contact (hug, kiss on the cheek, pat on the back, etc etc) with a friend who had a boyfriend at the same time. Some were fine with it, some felt weird after everything. It all comes down to the specific person's feelings. No reason you should not do it at all if you want to, if there is nothing going on intimately or romantically with you and someone else or your friend and someone else otherwise. So flirting in general is perfectly fine, there is no way in hell i would stop. Most situations when concerning friends just need discretion, as I said. Another example to help explain a little better what might be going on in her head, my current g/f could really give less of a damn if i flirt with another girl. She is very lenient to the point where depending on the girl she wouldn't even mind if we kiss in front of her. However, every time it came to my ex before her (we still hung out for a few months while i was with my current g/f) she wouldn't even tolerate her with her hand on my shoulder and got upset if i didn't get upset at her attempts at flirting. The reasons for this being that she had past boyfriends cheat on her because of exes trying to still be friends...though honestly they never really got along to begin with. So it is also very possible that your friend's girl has had a history of things going wrong due to another girl just doing some "harmless" flirting. Not necessarily an ex like with me, but the concept is what i'm trying to make clear...that she wants to avoid a potential repetition. One thing that goes wrong in the midst of otherwise acceptable allowances can ruin the entire mindset. Occurrences in past events is the most popular reasoning for trust issues to develop aside from poor self-esteem. Unfortunately since you are only the role of friend and nothing more, it would be right to respect their relationship. It isn't what you have to do, but in case you were wondering the best way to approach it. Hope that helps a bit, good luck.

Where to start... It would have to be a toss up between dressing up as Light for NYAF two years ago, entering in the cosplay contest, and writing down one of the judge's suicide in my death note after naming me the winner of the contest. Though I did not win, I did con a free beef patty as a consolation prize thanks to that little stunt. or Wearing my moogle pom-pom hat to work last Halloween and wearing a name badge that read "Mog". I've recently gotten some more time to dedicate to gaming. I've been enjoying getting back on Marvel vs Capcom 2 since it's release on Live. Essentially reminds me of the dreamcast release, though I have to say I appreciated the smoother controls of the DC version. Perhaps it is just the aged condition of my 360 controller however, I have had the same one since I got the system and it has seen a considerable amount of usage. I just finished Too Human for 360 and going through it a second time for some achievements, and I honestly have to say it is a severely underrated game. The controls are less than stellar as it pertains to combat and movement, awkward at times and less than perfectly responsive, however it is hardly enough to taint the enjoyment of a humble title with an ambitious story and presentation. The character customization in terms of armor and weapons is seemingly endless even through a new game+, it's fun to see the appearance of Baldur after every upgrade and mix and matches. The dialogue and voice acting are very strong IMO as well, both doing a fine job of getting me into the cut scenes and story. The game has a lot of notable strong points in places where it counts, despite falling a bit short of higher expectations of a current gen release. I play Left 4 Dead and CoD4 every now and then when my friends are game. That blasted "barf bagged" achievement keeps eluding me ever so closely :animeangr. For PSP I'm playing through FFVII: Crisis Core for my first time and am extremely impressed thus far. It inspires old feelings reminiscent of the original game and combines new ones as well. Story is great so far, visual presentation is fantastic, and the combat system is cool once you get adjusted and into the groove.

Sorry it took so long, but all the posts are nice and fresh in my mind since reading them all together and in order. First lemme say, good job ladies, it was fun to read and you're both perverted as hell :p. hehe, kidding. First i'll address what I liked, the detailed thoughts that both characters had were definitely contributing to the feel and atmosphere of the story. This, in addition to the communication between the characters and their respective stones. I do have to say though that i saw more interesting thought patterns and conversation with Beth's character. The way she dealt with self-doubt and selfless motivation and refused to give Sena the satisfaction of his one track advances, not deluding herself into thinking she was more powerful but being more in sync with her resolve. For some odd reason i can imagine the pink stone sounding something like Navi from LoZ too. I also liked the imagery and descriptions used on both sides to paint an ample picture for the readers to understand what's going on in each post. Again here I see Beth prevailing rather abundantly. Not overdoing it, but mixing things up in a more than acceptable manner. You get a lot from the type of disdain Sandra holds for Sena as a person, where as it just seems like Sena is acting his character and not that it is necessarily exclusive feelings toward her, but probably any attractive and weak woman standing in front of him. Posts were consistent with one another in terms of picking off where one left off and the general length of each. There were already a few aforementioned issues, though other than those there's nothing really to dislike about the contest. For what it is and the length it had to be, it was up to expectations. Enough of a story was told, but overall i do believe Beth has told it in a more captivating manner. There are definitely more traits and depth behind Sandra as a character, though Sena portrays the evil archetype up to standard as well. The final verdict sees Beth as the winner in my eyes. Good job to both of you, now someone go find Sandra some clothing.....or not. :).

Vallon kept his focus on Celestia with each word of disdain she spat at him. When he saw her cut herself off he stood in place, brandishing his favorite piece from his ancient civilization weapons collection, an obsidian shamshir. Jason and Celestia stood quiet, Jason finally able to get a hold of her physically and pushing her behind himself. He walked slowly up to them, Jason only dared to take one step back for fear of being hastened after for trying to get away. He reeled back his hand which held the sword and promptly brought it down onto where Celestia was, causing her to tighten her grip onto Jason and turn her head away from fear. Vallon stilled his hand however and stopped the blade near inches away from Jason's arm, which was quickly put up to protect Celestia. Vallon just laughed, Come on now, you two are such cowards. I had no intention of striking either of you. Jason mentally wiped a bead of sweat from his head as he watched the versilan sub-commander waltz back to his chair. He sat back down and made himself comfortable yet again. Pheonia stood by his side stoically. Celestia almost bursting into tears shoved Jason aside and went to address him again. "You're a monster! I'd rather die then be on the same ship as you!" she blurted out in an emotional outrage. "Oh come, I did what i had to. That's the nature of battle, isn't it? You're admonishing me for killing, why not walk up to each and every single soldier and tell them about your oh so passionate disapproval? I can assure you their answer would be pretty similar. Nobody cares about your bleeding heart, slave." he explained coldly. "Anyway, you are here for a reason and it isn't to chastise. In fact, I think it best for you both to remain quiet altogether until I prompt you to speak. Now...you, why don't you tell me why you two broke protocol and retired to your quarters and refused to work during the invasion?" he asked, aimed at Jason to respond. "It was an order from Commander Matheson, it wasn't that we refused to work!" Jason answered with a sneer. "Commander...oh! The good doctor, no? Well is that a fact. It seems her disrespect for my authority knows no bounds." Vallon muttered to himself. Celestia looked like she wanted to keep going with her rants but Jason saw fit to stop her before she really angered Drace. Vallon stood and sighed arrogantly as he placed his sword back on it's display. He turned to the two slaves and noticed the still angry look on Celestia's face. He pondered whether to leave well enough alone, but found himself tempted to provoke her further. He walked in their direction slowly, but Pheonia took notice and acted before he could reach his destination. "Sir, it's time we see Commander Scorer about our post-battle orders. We're already five minutes late." she said, exaggerating the time for the sake of Celestia. Vallon just sucked his teeth and glared back at her. "Well, from what I hear the Commander will be departing soon. I suppose part of these orders would be to put me in charge of The Creator for the time being. That is certainly worth hearing afterall, so perhaps your concern warrants my attention properly." He turned his attention back to Jason and Celestia. "I'll make this clear now, and if you disobey me in the future I will make sure you wish you'd never wake up again. You answer to me, nobody else. Not only were your progress reports atrocious but you didn't even make any of it up during the last few days. You'd best expedite your work in the next week. Now, get out of my sights." Jason didn't hesitate to grab hold of Celestia and hurry them out of Vallon's quarters. He sneered as they left and grabbed his coat. Pheonia led the way toward the door and opened it for him. "It's rather unfortunate this will only be temporary, but it will present a rather nice opportunity to rally the soldiers more effectively. Let's go, Pheonia."

The Versilan sub-commander of The Creator stood in place and watched as his soldiers gathered the remainder of the New Alliance soldiers and other inhabitants of the sanctum quarters of the base. There were roughly fourteen soldiers, and eighteen civilians all seated at gunpoint by the versilan army. Vallon began walking slowly, surveying the men and women he had captured, wishing he could just simply slaughter them all and be done with it. Unfortunately for him, he must bare the amount of patience necessary to take in his targets. Vallon looked over to Pheonia and gave her a nod, as if saying to proceed. She looked a bit confused at first but figured that she would have to use her own judgment to figure out what to do. She stepped up to the middle of the room and cleared her throat. "We seek the traitors to the Versilan High-Council being kept here, step forward now!" she yelled out loud enough for everyone to hear. Vallon grimaced with disapproval and sighed as he walked up to Pheonia and placed his hand on her shoulder. "Now what will we ever accomplish by asking like that? It seems I must do everything." he said as he roughly pushed Pheonia behind him. Vallon took a brief look to his left side and proceeded to grab the closest female civilian and forced her up to her feet. He held her by her chin and forced her to her knees in front of him, his hands prepped to snap her neck in an instant. The civilian did not scream, but rather made a whimper sound and showed slight signs of struggle. "My officer here i'm afraid is still new to these situations, but in any case i'm sure she had gotten across what we are here for. So my little twist on it goes like this...either the three of them step forward or I break this one's neck, and then simply move on to the next. I'll give it about.........three seconds." Vallon tightened his grip and began counting down. As he reached two however, one man jumped to his feet, a heavy set gentlemen with dark hair and a beard. "Stop! I am one of the three you seek. I am Joseph Steiner. This man here is Garrick Kublai and the brown haired lady is Ana Crowe." he admitted in a haste. "Joseph, what are you doing!?" Garrick objected, grabbing hold of his arm. "Fool, you would put innocent lives at stake? I won't stand here and watch this man kill these people infront of our eyes." Joseph explained himself. Vallon smiled slightly and let go of the woman's neck, letting her drop to the floor, panting and almost in tears. "Thank you for making it easy for me...however, I should mention that easy isn't really my style either. I'm afraid before I take the three of you with me i'll have to jazz things up a bit." Vallon turned his head to one of the soldiers and gave him a nod. "Kill all of the soldiers." he ordered, the Versilan soldiers guarding them acknowledged cohesively and executed the Alliance soldiers, shooting them in the back of the heads. Ana covered her eyes and turned away while the other two watched on in disbelief. "You son of a bitch, I won't let you take me!" Garrick yelled out, as he leaped forward in a desperate attempt to escape. He charged through one of the soldiers using his body weight as a battering ram, but fell short as Pheonia tripped his legs out before he could get too far. She lifted him up to his feet, flailing arms and all. Vallon walked over to him and motioned for Pheonia to let him go. "Well, you are definitely my favorite one of the group. You just want to let me some more fun don't you? Well how can i possibly turn down such an offer?" Vallon asked rhetorically as he reeled his arm back and jabbed Garrick in the gut with a straight and open hand. He managed to avoid the blood that spewed from the mouth of his captive and went to lift his head up after it slumped from the after effect of the blow. He held it in place as he reeled back again and this time thrusted forward at the side of the face, connecting with deadly impact forcing the neck to snap. Garrick slumped down to the floor, dead instantly from the blow. Pheonia wore a bit of a concerned look on her face at the fact that Vallon had just blatantly killed one of the targets they were meant to bring back alive. "S...sir?" she muttered. Vallon silenced her with a hand motion and began walking back out to the yard. "Load the other two onto a transport ship, kill some of the civilians if you want to...it doesn't matter to me. Let's head back and relay word of our victory here. That is what is most important." he ordered, as Pheonia reluctantly followed behind.

The mini-fleet of transport ships landed one after another at the set point on the outskirts with the main base in view over the mountain range. Eight ships had landed, three followed behind including Vallon's ship. After a few more minutes, the troops has flooded out and awaited the sub-commander as he met up with the battalion at the foot of the mountain range. "So, they need me to take out those shield generators do they?" Vallon rhetorically asked to himself. Pheonia nodded, being able to hear him. "Yes sir, the order was to do it as discreetly as possible so it would be easier to storm the base." she added as a reminder. Vallon just smiled as he surveyed the area, placing his hand above his eyes. "Hm...discreet. I have a better idea." he answered, taking some more time to calculate something in his head. He turned away with a flip of his coat and walked passed a group of soldiers and stopped infront of two ships parallel to one another. He reached his hand up to his ear and activated his ear piece. "Coordinates 151.09 for shot one, 560.11 for shot two. Lock on and fire when I say." he ordered, raising his hand in the air. Pheonia stepped forward slightly as if motioning to protest, but held herself back knowing better than to follow through. The soldiers began forming lines of fifty next to one another, preparing a charging formation. Vallon grinned at how well the soldiers carried themselves, playing off of his motions and the briefing he gave on the way down to the planet. 'Fool...he'll give us away...' Pheonia thought to herself. She knew that she wouldn't be able to stop him, but somehow she had expected Vallon to understand well what he was doing at the same time. Vallon swung his arm downward and let out a bellow at the same time as the the two ships infront of him fired out series of drone like missles engulfed in disruptor energy into the air, they quickly turned into the image of flickering stars quickly descending over the mountain range. A series of loud explosions came booming through the air, as the shield turned into irrelevant static before completely fading a matter of seconds later. The soldiers charged at Vallon's command over the mountain and with full force intended to break through the first line of defense outside the base gates and blow themselves an entrance. 'Both of them hit...amazing, how did he know the right coordinates just by looking over the mountains!? It couldn't have been just a lucky guess...did he mean to do that or did he simply not care where they hit?' Pheonia thought to herself, trying to figure out further the thought patterns or her superior. The charge of versilan soldiers indeed met a force of resistance upon becoming visible over the summit of the small mountain range. Projectiles flew in both directions, as well as other members of the new alliance charging forward with bladed weapons in true warrior spirit form. The alliance's first thread of defense was menial at best however, it took all of five minutes to dispatch of with little injury to the versilan side. Vallon hurried himself to the center of the soldiers and ordered for the breach of the gate. A group of soldiers charged down to the gate and set explosives into place, while others began burning through with long distance beam rifles. * * * * * Disarray had become noticeable within the walls of the base as an alliance commanding officer came running with a platoon of his own troops to witness the situation himself. "Commander Guillard! The outer gate defenses have been defeated and the shield generators have been severely damaged. We are currently working on back up power and the repairs to the main generators themselves!" one of the alliance members reported. The tall, dark-skinned commander in charge of the base's defense let out a grunt and admonished the soldier. "Isn't the purpose of back up power to be effective following the shut down of the main generators? What good is it if we leave the enemy any window of opportunity! Now gather the rest of the unit and..." As if on cue, Commander Guillard found himself cut off by the sound of transport technology fading in and out as versilan soldiers appeared within the confines of the base now as well. Alliance members found themselves accosted in mass as they tried to fight back in a scattered fashion. Those who tried to attack the alliance's veteran commander however found it to be a difficult task, as Guillard fended for himself well enough to induce some sort of injury onto his attackers. "Damn these scum! They've already taken advantage of the shields being down! Create a tripod formation and concentrate forces in the center of the base and the main gate! Protect the control room and at all costs protect them! Guillard ordered, referring to the three high council traitors Vallon was charged with retrieving. * * * * * Moments after the scurrying of the alliance soldiers, the main gate was fully breached as Vallon lead the forces through as the concentrated numbers fell upon them as another melee in the fray began. Vallon rushed his way toward the center of the military yard, dispatching of any alliance soldier in his way with thrusts of his arm and momentum diverting tactics which he used to hammer people into the ground. He simply kept walking as if they were minor inconveniences as Phenoia followed, barely needing to see much combat herself. Vallon turned abruptly and grabbed Pheonia by her shin and forced her close to him, causing her to nearly lose her footing. He brought her face close to his so their lips were almost touching, but weren't. "Pheonia, don't dissapoint me." he said, as he forced her focus now infront of him toward the giant red double doors. Pheonia muffled out a yes sir before being released. She proceeded to charge forward with her double sided disruptor staff drawn as she elegantly cut through the first soldier that approached her. "The woman, she's headed for the sanctum quarters!" one of the higher ups yelled as she drew a good deal of attention to herself. She did the least necessary to incapacitate those who would approach her, only needing to violently tear one person's leg off who came close to taking her down to the ground. She loomed over the alliance member who cried in pain at the unclean tear of his flesh, while blood flowed from it like a dam had broke. Vallon smirked as he advanced forward toward the alliance commander who was fighting off his troops. "Tall, dark, and strong. Good thing they didn't send Jared down here or else it would be an orgy instead of a battle. He may have his own ideas about what to do with this guy's face....I however...have something drastically different in mind." he spoke to himself as he advanced on him. Vallon took a step forward before being surprise attacked by a long haired member of the resistance. He quickly reacted and side-stepped his leap and wrapped his left arm around his assailant's shoulder and grasped the back of his head in a half-nelson. He took his free hand and broke his captive's jaw with a single swing with his elbow, leaving it disconnected and hanging by nothing but flesh. Vallon dropped him to the floor, maintaining control of his shoulder and promptly jerked it upward by his elbow, dislocating that as well. The detailed dismantling of his underling caught the eye of Commander Guillard who took a few steps toward Drace. He took notice to the decor of Vallon's attire and gritted his teeth. You are the commander of this invasion, are you not? he demanded to know. Vallon wiped the blood from the soldier off on the sleeve of his coat and stepped forward to respond. "I am. So nice of you to notice..." Vallon's answer was brief as he charged forward toward the opposing commander, his first strike was dodged, Guillard tried to swing back but his arm was caught by Vallon's free hand and felt his body spun around using his momentum, soon being stopped by a high roundhouse kick to the head knocking the alliance's commander flat to the ground. Vallon knelt soon after and grabbed his foe by his hair, not giving him any time to breathe or recover. He held him upright on his knees and sharply jabbed his fist into the ribcage, the sound of a crack following. Vallon looked around and noticed the military yard was practically taken over as soldiers retreated further into the base. Pheonia stood over a guard with her boot lodged into his throat, her staff pointed at him. She forced him to tell her the code to open the door of the sanctum and then simply knocked him unconscious with the steel part of her staff. He looked back down at the once dominating alliance commander as he had a fighting look on his face, trying to hold back the pain. Vallon simply jabbed him again in the ribs, one shot followed another, and another until cries of pain could be heard. "Idiot. The empire can't be defeated, not as long as I fight. Now why don't you help me out and tell me where I can find those turncoats you're protecting?" Vallon demanded. Seconds later his answer came in the form of being spat at. Vallon's eyes widened at the sign of disrespect and disobedience and promptly jabbed his hand into the ribs once more, this time breaking the flesh. He stared into Guillard's eyes intently as he moved his fingers about and grabbed hold of his injured rib, and broke it off with great force. It didn't take long for a mix of shock and blood loss claimed his life as Vallon shoved him off with his boot and spat back onto his dead body. He looked over at Pheonia who was patiently awaiting his presence. Vallon just re-adjusted himself and walked over as if nothing had happened. "Sir, according to one of the soldiers they are in fact being held here. I've received the code and will input it at your command."

It also seems like everytime i try to get something particular done i get too far into other aspects of the post, heh. Promise i'll get the one last thing done at the soonest opportunity (when someone else posts), since it isn't much to add. I just thought it was coming out a bit too long.

I don't need a picture to tell me how my brain functions as i'm more then well aware of that already, with a rather even balance between both sides depending on what aspects of each I am utilizing at the time and what the situation calls for. People should definitely not view this as an accurate test or portrayal of brain or cognitive functionality. It's amusing, sure, but nothing more.

As the group traveled down the shaft, the military personnel more quickly than the others. Several floors down from their first intended destination, Nakeisha recognized a door failsafe box, suggesting that it would be the easiest door to try and open from the inside. Vayne and James lead the climb down, parting ways against the wall along the small side sections for Nakeisha to reach the box. "You're sure you know what you are doing now, right Doctor Rhodes?" Marcus asked, glancing downward passed Teresa. Nakeisha fixed her eyes on the box and the wiring on the outside of it and put her finger up to her mouth moments after, showing signs of concern. "Um...well of course!" she answered, not hiding her discovery very well. "Doctor Rhodes, that didn't sound very convincing, care to give it another try?" Marcus insisted, not amused by her tone of voice. Dr. Travis struggled a bit with holding his balance, Teresa tried to get a good hold onto him to help him regain himself. Nakeisha looked around her surroundings as if to confirm something before giving her second answer. "Ok, what we have here is a Green Box." Nakeisha stated, as she started fiddling with the box infront of her. Pretty much everyone else just stared at her as if awaiting a further explanation. Though one didn't follow. "You care to elaborate on that please?" Dr. Travis asked in a bit of an annoyed tone. "A Green Box, a circuit tripod if you will. It's really simple stuff, it's common for a lot of large scale set ups such as elevator shafts and other transport technology to utilize a three-circuit box system where they are split up within the structure. The main circuitry is located in what is commonly a green box, therefore we call it the Green Box. Did everyone get that or do I have to repeat myself?" Nakeisha explained, already having the box's cover pryed open. Colonel DeSouza took little interest in the explanation and kept his focus on the elevator above. "No need for an explanation Doctor, but I think we'd all appreciate it if you could get this door open sooner rather than later." "Alright, alright....um...ok, Lt. Vayne and Major James, if you would kindly search the opposite areas for a red and silver metallic box, open them up and then listen for my instructions. Several circuits need to be re-crossed to override the controls and allow us to manually open the door." Doctor Rhodes instructed. Colonel DeSouza reiterated the request in the interest of time, James and Vayne agreeing and slowly working their way around the edge of the shaft to look for the boxes. Vayne found the red box not too far from his position, and James the silver, the three boxes forming the points of a triangle. Teresa helped Dr. Travis down further and to the side where he stood where Major James was. Teresa wiggled her way over to the right where Lt. Vayne was. Colonel DeSouza waited somewhat patiently above Dr. Rhodes. "Ok, for the silver box...exchange the yellow and orange wires on both ends. For the red box, exchange the black and red wires. Don't screw it up!" Nakeisha ordered crisply. Vayne and James were reluctant in listening to her, but knew that if they didn't do it they would be stuck in that shaft. Though it wasn't long before a series of noises from above interuppted everyone's train of thought. "Damn...the elevator...it's moving this way." Marcus alerted everyone. The elevator appeared to struggle in its place before falling several inches from it's position and freezing in place again. "We're moving as fast as we can!" Lt. Vayne shouted as he exchanged the wires Nakeisha instructed. Dr. Rhodes had already finished the wire exchange on her side and closed the green box. Several seconds later the other two boxes were done with, as the elevator made one last snapping sound and began tilting to one side as if hanging by only one tractor beam. "Done!" Major James yelled out, as Teresa moved her way over toward the door and began trying to pry it open. Dr. Travis wiped the sweat from his brow and forces himself over to help her. With their strength combined they managed to pull the doors open, while Nakeisha just stood back and watched. The door was open far enough for a single person to squeeze through at a time. Teresa helped Dr. Rhodes crawl through first as the elevator lost the last of it's power and began plummeting downward. "Crap! Come on guys, let's move a little faster!" Marcus yelled out as Teresa helped Dr. Travis through. Colonel DeSouza jumped down and held onto the side of the shaft. Teresa went to help the Colonel through the door but Marcus grabbed hold of the back of Teresa's jacket and lifted her through the door. "Let's go, let's go!" Marcus waved James and Vayne over to him. Major James hurried over and made a successful leap onto the edge next to Marcus, grabbing on to his arm to hold steady. Marcus helped him through the door as the elevator dropped closer. Lt. Vayne Morrison attempted the same leap but slipped as his foot hit the narrow siding of the shaft. "Shit!" he yelled, trying to grab onto the Colonel's arm but fell too far down. He grabbed onto a loose cable hanging off the side of the shaft. Colonel DeSouza looked up for a brief moment and then moved himself over toward the cable. "Colonel! You have to come through, you don't have any time!" Teresa yelled as she tried to reach through the door for him. "Lieutenant! Lieutenant, grab my hand! Let's go!" Marcus yelled as he extended his arm down. Vayne tried to reach it but it was too far up. Marcus reached further, determined to at least make contact with Vayne's hand. The elevator would reach their level in a matter of seconds as a sweat drop began to run down Marcus's head as he forced his strength to extend into his reach. "Dammit...forgive me sir!" Major James yelled out as he reached through the door, grabbed hold of Marcus and pulled him through the door with Teresa's help. Marcus tried one last time to reach, though it was all the more futile due to being pulled. Marcus fell back at the last second as the elevator plummet down passed their level, overcoming Vayne as he hung from the cable. "NO! Goddammit!" Marcus yelled as he ran to the door and looked downward, only seeing blood splattered against the wall and the elevator falling until it hit the bottom. "Oh god..." Nakeisha muttered as she covered her mouth to try and force the urge to vomit back. Dr. Travis looked away as the other officers mourned silently. Teresa placed her hand on Marcus's shoulder and stood by his side for as long as he took gazing down into the shaft. The radio on Teresa began to flicker and Dr. Henderson's voice came across the line. "Come in, what happened over there? Lt. Vayne's vital signs have ceased showing! Colonel DeSouza...Colonel answer, is everything alright!?" Marcus didn't answer, but only stood up and continued walking. "Let's go. We won't accomplish anything standing around." he said, not stopping to look behind him.

Vallon had excused himself shortly after Doctor Crystal took her leave of the two commanders of The Creator. The zero hour was close, and it was time to gather the forces of the flagship for the invasion of Sector Seven. Pheonia Roth followed behind, as her role dictated. Though he had not spent much time aboard The Creator, Vallon has much experience with leading assaults and mobilizing on short notice. He was sure that rallying the forces of the ship would not be an arduous task. Vallon laughed to himself at how Crystal's inconsequential concerns were actually carefully noted by Jared. In his mind, no real Versilan warrior needed to worry so heavily about medical issues, and those who required it were simply not strong enough to survive with the rest of the race. They were blessed with expedited healing and normal speeds, strengths, and durability that exceeding the limits of normal humans, it seemed unbecoming for that not to be enough. Vallon's training forced these beliefs on himself. "Pheonia, tell me. Have you ever been physically injured to the point of requiring medical attention?" Vallon asked her, keeping his pace steady. He asked not out of curiosity, but more like an entertained attempt at further understanding the weaker links of the Versilan race. Pheonia hesitated, a bit unsure of how to answer at first, but decided on the honest answer being the best choice. "Yes sir, during my first year on the Security Forces. I required surgery on my leg after a skirmish with the Resistance." "Is that right? Injured by those weaklings. Well, for my sake I guess I should hope that was far in the past." Vallon commented sarcastically, and making it rather obvious that he did not sincerely rely on Pheonia's ability for his own safety. Vallon proceeded onto the lift that transported them down to the barracks level, there they met with Captain Nithaniel Colins. "Sir, welcome. The troops have been organized and are awaiting your orders." Colins greeted. Vallon just smirked and bowed his head slightly in acknowledgement. He walked passed the Captain, Pheonia behind him. Nithaniel couldn't help but take notice to Pheonia's figure, making his glance as unnoticeable as he could. Vallon used his clearance code to grant them access into the docking area where the ships stood surrounded by a myriad of Versilan armed forces, standing at attention awaiting word from the new sub-commander. He took position on an overlooking walkway and looked down at all the soldiers before him. He took as much time as he needed to survey the area to his satisfaction and breathed in deeply the air around him as if he was recently deprived of breathing. The chatter and confusion on the faces of the soldiers was eventually made apparent, some wondered who Vallon was, other's knew but simply wondered what he was doing simply standing there. Moments later, with a renewed smirk on his face, Vallon thrusted his hand into his interior coat pocket and pulled it out with his hand wearing one of thise disruptor knuckles. "Pheonia dear, if you would please stand aside a couple of yards." Vallon quietly instructed. Pheonia heeded his command, a bit perplexed. He followed up by destroying the railing infront of him with two swings. He jumped into the air and brought his body weight down at twice the force he jumped with causing the walkway to collapse and cut off where the damage to the railing was done, plummeting Vallon down to the troop's level. Vallon landed with a loud crash that could be heard throughout the general area of the ship, some troops scattered not expecting what had happened. Vallon leaped from the severed platform moments before it's impact and quickened his way into the thick of the troops, as soldiers backed away and created a path for him. "VERSILAN WARRIORS, LISTEN TO ME HERE AND NOW!" Vallon bellowed to further gather the attention of the army. "I am Vallon Drace, your new commander! However I am no different from you! I stand here amongst you soldiers on the same level because I am a soldier just like you! My title does not dictate what I do, MY ACTIONS DICTATE WHAT I DO! I do NOT know how procedures were run before my arrival here, but this is how they will be run NOW. You fight with me, I will fight with you! You are the backbone of the Versilan army, and I will empower each and every single one of you with the same courage, pugnacity, and intensity that I hold for our pride as Versilans to crush the Resistance!" Soldiers looked at each other in awe of the new sub-commander's approach to giving a pre-battle speech. Many of them looked invigorated by his words and lent their ears to hear more. How each soldier would personally feel about Vallon Drace may not have been determined yet, but at this point everyone's attention in the room was fixated on one point. "SOLDIER, what is your name?" Vallon asked, randomly pointing to someone. The unsuspecting soldier took a moment to physically indicate his questioning of his choice. Vallon nodded, telling him that he was indeed talking to him. "Jacob Wallace, sir!" the soldier answered crisply. "Then my name might as well be Wallace, as yours might as well be Drace! Because we are brothers in battle, we fight cohesively as a single unit because this army is to be feared for it's coordination and ferocity! Together we will obliterate the Resistance and prove YET AGAIN the dominance of our great empire. My job is war, and I will take this war and win it. You are those who will be by my side in this victory, raise your voices and show me your desire for superiority! Raise your voice in harmony with mine and let us show why The Creator will not fail as long as I stand here with you!" Vallon continued, thrusting his hand forward, a figurative burning glow in his eyes that alone commanded those soldiers in direct sight of him. The soldiers collectively began cheering in response and began a chant for the Versilan empire. Vallon's jaw hung loose and his eyes focused as he made crisp movements with his body to the sound of his support. Inside he was laughing meniacally and his obsession with victory burned through the back of his eyes, overtaking any other sight one might see through the windows to his soul. Pheonia watched on from the top, her heart pounding in her chest at the obedience Vallon received from just his speech and actions alone. He had been on this ship for a day and never met a single soldier, yet his efforts to put himself on a personal level with the soldiers commanded an earned respect. It was not military protocol, that was certain. 'Surely he isn't sincere about his feelings for this army...he...he's a master of manipulating the masses for his own purposes. If this invasion ends in victory for the empire, he'll have this army at his beck and call. It's...incredible.' Pheonia thought to herself, as she watched on. Vallon waited until the commotion calmed down before putting the exclamation point to his pre-battle speech. "The previous leader of this army, sub-commander Harris sits comfortably behind a computer amongst the council, no longer concerning himself with the bloodshed and complexity involved in combat. I stand here with you, willing to risk my very life on the field of battle! I would accept no such promotion if it meant drawing me away from my calling. NOW, prepare yourselves, board your ships for the time is NOW! We will reclaim what was once lost! Heed my orders when I give them and kill ANY Resistance member that gets in your way, NOW GO!" The soldiers ate every word and advanced themselves in the name of the empire, in the name of Vallon Drace. Vallon flipped the hair out of his face and gritted his teeth. 'This is only the first victory. May the Resistance tremble before the power of Vallon Drace, and may all who oppose me die trembling in an irreversible state of trepidation. '
