1. The closest thing I've ever seen to this pic has to be Presea from Tales of Symphonia. Little pink-haired girl w/ axe is quite comparable to little pink-haired girl w/ scythe. Just thinking out loud, as I'm sure that's not it, but that might be the closest you get to an anime involving this character (Tales is an anime-style videogame, by the way.)
 2.
Ooooh. Burn.
Dude, I said that bad mushrooms can be bad, as in "poisonous," not "all bad mushrooms are incredibly bad." And what is with this "burn" crap, anyway?
 3.
... And mushrooms, for that matter. I personally like mushrooms; Cottage cheese isn't a favorite food of mine. Both taste good when they are, but at least bad mushrooms aren't all.
Bad mushrooms can be pretty bad... Like the ones in your front lawn. On topic: Cottage cheese is fine with me. Tastes great with applesauce, or so I believed in Kinder, I should try that again sometime.
 4. Okay, I looked, and there is no thread for this excellent game. If you have played any version of this game, I would like to know your opinions on it, comparisons of different versions, or even why you haven't played it yet if you haven't. I bought this game at Gamecrazy a couple months back and beat it within a week. I was playing nonstop, however, and I wasn't going for all the extra items. I thought it was the best RPG ever (title later stolen by Tales of Symphonia, for me, at least.) The battle system is great, and if you enjoy the older RPG's (the game was made in the early 90's, I believe) you will love this game. even if you don't like RPG's for the battle systems, this could easily be an exception.
 5. I am in the same dojo as Sojiro, but I am about 3 ranks behind him (3rd degree brown.) It's pretty fun, because if I harass him after class, I can now survive the imminent beating. My favorite attack is kicking, and I'm thinking about joining the sword class, but Sensei Pete is too scary and he already knows me (I really, really hope he's not reading this...) Oh, and I watch Walker: Texas Ranger. Does that count?
 6.
Hey Ace, how many things did we take from the kids? I know there were at least 20 thing that I took from kids.
You gave them back, right? He's joking, everyone! *Calls Sensei Pete on Sojiro* Anyway, it IS pretty annoying when we have to deal with kids with a skewed misconception of the world around them because their parents decide that they'll shut up if they buy them a new puppy that they'll probably kill in a few weeks because they don't know what "responsibility" is because their parents never told them. *pant, pant* Seriously, we should start making some rules for PARENTS. "Children's brain growth is NOT affected by watching television, according to the latest study by Lazy Parenting Magazine" -Tina Fey, Saturday Night Live
 7.
Getting off the PS2 subject momentarily. Fire Emblem, Tales of Symphonia, and virtually any LOZ games are worth looking into (all gamecube titles). I don't think i should have to discuss much about the LOZ series and the good word of TOS i see has spread throughout the board already.
I can't BELIEVE no one has even mentioned a Tales game until BKstyles. If you like a great story that is as far from cookie-cutter as you can get and a battle system that's even further, Pick up ToS, people. It may seem cliched at first, but if you can live through the current story for 15 hours or so, there is a HUGE plot twist that will keep you playing to the end (if it doesn't, I'll give you a coupon for a free muffin or something.) The Zelda series is also a great series to get into, but I consider it to be more of an action game with some RPG elements. Never played Fire Emblem, but I'm willing to try.
 8. The reason for the theory is that
when he made hard contact with Kuro's skull, he probably either drove his nose into his cranium or snapped his neck, thus either killing or paralyzing him. Either way, Kuro won't be doing the cat stealth maneuver anytime soon.
Not that I'm bloodthirsty or anything. I don't really want to see anyone die in the series, unless they're really incredibly evil (kinda like Kuro.)
 9.
Tales of Symphonia was made as a sort of prequel to Tales of Phantasia. Some of the story points click, such as a special tree and a certain character with the last name "Fujibayashi" is available. That game has been ported to the GBA and is currently sucking up my life.
Huh, I thought it was the other way around, since
the magitech is invented in Phantasia, the "Fujibayashii" thing can go either way, and the Phantasia tree is called "Yggdrasill," who was NOT considered to be a respectable hero by the end of Symphonia. Then again, Martel is embodied in the Phantasia tree, when she didn't die until the Kharlan War, when the Kharlan tree died, so she might have still been contained in the new one. Plus, Lloyd gets to name the tree at the end, and he might have named it Yggdrasill in memory of the hero Mithos and his wonderful intentions for the world, regardless of the twisted ways he was planning to execute them, because deep down, he meant well. They might have reinvented magitech, too.
Wow, that's a lot of spoiler tags.
This is my most treasured game on the gamecube, I've beaten it twice and once at a party when we had a four player story which is the funnest thing EVER!! But I got stuck with Raine the whole story, she's not my favourite, but I got alot of praise for helping out. I want to play Tales of Phantasia, but I'm on a tight budget at the moment so I can't.
This shouldn't be too much of a problem now, seeing as how it is now on Players Choice. (Yay, cheapskates like me!) This and ToP are both stellar games that deserve to be played over and over. Dwarven Vow #714: If thou hast a Gamecube without this game, thou shalt sell thine Gamecube (or buy this game) immediately. If thou has not a Gamecube, this game is worth it... eth. I was a little disappointed when all the magazines promised me anime cutscenes and I only saw 3 in the entire game, though. Edit: OOOOH, Phantasia. Sorry, it's not on PC, but it is worth it. A lot.
 10.
Sony is getting to where they rip people off, I'm pretty much a Nintendo fan becuase they have decent games and they are cheap. After I heard the price of the PS3 and now the games I'm all for the Wii.
Yeah, they were the most popular system for 2 generations and THIS is how they repay their loyal fans. I don't fel like a rat when I desert this sinking ship, folks.
 11. My arm. I would hate to lose the people close to me, but my arm missing would bring me one step closer to Shankshood!
OK my turn: Would you rather: Get stuck in a crappy dub of your favorite show/ anime/ cartoon or Get stuck in a good dub of your least favorite show/anime/cartoon
I had to answer this, too. Good dub, at least after seeing what 4Kids could do. Would you rather get arrested for destroying a Burger King, OR be forced to eat one of their burgers? (think real hard; those things are gross.)
 12.
Seriously, that's stealing. You can confiscate objects, and give them to the kids' parents after the day/camp, but you have no right keeping them to yourself. I know you're being only half-serious, but if you hate kids and their behaviour as much as you seem to, why do you even work with them? :/
Sorry, I didn't mean to offend. I don't hate them, I just hate the way that parents spoil them. Looking back at it now, I wasn't even being 1/8thserious. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
 13. I would most definitely fight. I'm sick and tired of dealing with crap. Okay, the next person must choose between: Getting burned at the stake. OR Having a failed surgery... Without an anasthetic!
 14.
I think that girls are nessisary! All of my friends are girls, so I love every girl! But There are times when I wish that some girls were older so I would have a reaso to get to know them! Don't get me wrong, I'm not a player, I just like girls as people, not sex objects! And no, I'm not gay! I just like girls as friends, not as lovers!
Is there something you should tell me... about me? And sos and Haku? Anyway, girls are great! They're fun to get to know, and most of us probably wouldn't exist without them (Okay, NO ONE would exist.) I was taught to appreciate them as people, not objects, which suits me fine. I would want to meet a girl who can think for herself (that leaves out Britney Spears, Paris Hilton... pretty much any girl you're gonna see on a magazine cover anytime soon.) I haven't found an actual girlFRIEND yet, but I still got some time to work on that.
 15.
Ah, we think alike. I'd also make the rule for them not to stick their hands down each other's pants. I remember going to day care and every time we went to take our naps, some guy-child would practically rape me. I must have been a sexy four-year-old.
I didn't mean the thread to go quite this way! *Gouges out mind's eye* Anyway, I got another one. If you and someone else end up fighting over an object, I will take and keep it. I wouldn't mind a PSP, or I could give anything teddy bear-like to my 4-year-old niece.
 16.
Hehe....First dates.....hehe! Well, I'm with Tical on this one. I'm the kind of guy that would rather already know the girl than date someone I know nothing about! This means no blind dates, Ace!
Are you calling me desperate? Look, just because I'm married to a videogame character doesn't mean it can't happen (ah, sweet Nami!) Anyway, I would have to agree. I would get to know them at first, then spend the date trying to get to know them even better. I would probably not try to do anything sex-like. That would just feel akward. Yes, I am addicted to Harvest Moon.
 17.
I like One Piece. It is my favorite anime (my least favorite company is 4Kids.)

One Piece is an excellent anime, despite how it was screwed up by 4Kids.

Once again, I'm with Ace! One Piece is one of my favorite Anime, although a curtain company killed it here in the U.S. But I still watch it on the web in the original Japanese!
Did I start a trend or something? Ah, well. It's true. 4Kids can't edit 4Crap. I think Luffy might have
killed Kuro with the Gum-Gum Bell, by the way
18.
never bring guns to school (stop them now before it's too late)
They kind of enforce that closer to PUBLIC school time, but if you mean squirt guns, then sure. They don't need to be given ideas.
 19. I would outlaw loud music, like everyone else and for the same reason. I would also outlaw radical religions because all they do is talk crap and kill people (from what I can tell.) The final thing I would outlaw is 4Kids tv, for various crimes against humanity.
 20.
I don't think my username gives me a set pesonality! I mean, my username is me, right? o_O I think I show different sides of myself at different times, but not pending the username! I've been using Sojiro47 for so long, it has become my name! ^_^ Before this, I used...what was it? Umm........Anyway, I wasn't always Sojiro47. But it doesn't change me. I'm still the annoying me, no matter what name I use!
Yeah, I think that sums it up for me, too. I may fall asleep randomly sometimes, but I can still be an annoying hothead who goes on here once in a while and accidentaly makes himself look like a total idiot who doesn't even know what a rule is. I set my own personality. Accidentally sometimes, but I do.
 21. I don't want to sound biased, but I am just curious as to who would have the money to buy the system in the first place, let alone the price of the games when they come out. I really don't see PS3 getting a profit any faster than the original Xbox.
 22. Okay, post overhaul. I like One Piece. It is my favorite anime (my least favorite company is 4Kids.) My favorite character is Portgas D. Ace. I think he is totally awesome because
he has complete control over fire and is Luffy's older brother.
This anime is my favorite because of the wacky artwork, the good story, and, of course, the zany adventures of the Straw Hat Crew. And the idiot that is me has figured out how to use spoiler tags. Yay.
 23.
so i thought I would ask a question for people right now but what do you think is the best fight in one piece?
I would have to say the fight at Whiskey Peak between Luffy and Zolo was my favorite, just because of the fact that
niether one won. It was Nami.
That was just hilarious. Note-Wayofthereversed: You should try to use correct capitalization/punctuation. I'm not an Admin, but I don't want you to have them get on your case because of ignorance (No offense, Admins, I don't mean to make you look like jerks, you have a hard job.) 24.
I totally agree with silver_blade. That last acronym she finished is simply ridiculous [to say the least.] Now, I know I come up with long acronyms sometimes and I apoligize for that but we as members have to figure out what's resonable and what's not. 25.
Hell ya!!! But I'm glad it's going to be back too! TPBM is into the dark arts.
If by dark arts you mean MARTIAL arts, than true. TPBM knows what women want (On our menu.)
