From what Aonuma said, the entire graphics have changed, the controls have been improved and the actual plot has been changed to some degree (I'd say probably some new scenes and improved dialogue between characters).
If Epona can move in more than eight directions and two speeds and actually arrive at her destination without stopping dead because you grazed the corner of some random brick wall, that's good enough for me. Also, I'm disappointed that no one is talking about Scott Pilgrim's Unspeakably Epic River City Ransom Tribute.
 2. Man, Kishi. You're really milking me for all the frustration I'm worth here. Are you seriously this determined to aggravate me by introducing a character that's basically the one you allegedly center the story around, but better in every possible way (thereby making her a good character in the first place)? And yet still you tease me with what could have been, tantalizing me with the very idea that she could have ended up as the main character in the first place, rather than her lame and uninteresting son? You, sir, are a cold and calculating bastard. Furthermore, I cannot decide whether to hug you or punch you this week.
Gateway's are usually on the pricy side right, or are there quite a few of them in the $200-$350 price range? And noooooo on Vista. I've been having so many issues with vista that I've never encountered before on XP or 2000.... (for one this automatic restarts and freezing on bootups) People in my school've ran into the same problems. I think I'll try out Windows 7 when I get my laptop/netbook or whatever.
7 is actually quite lovely. I'm using it right now on my new custom-built desktop PC. I recommend it.

 5. So it turns out that the new Alan Silvestri composition of the A-Team theme made for the 2010 movie is about the same length as your average anime opening. In light of this discovery, I present to you Gurren Lagann if it were slightly more awesome than it already is.

 7. Just saw it, and it was awesome. The movie thrives on the insanely cool and impossible action scenes the show was known for, and it pulls them off effortlessly. Liam Neeson was dead-on as Hannibal, as can be expected of him. Rampage was an alright BA. Mr. T pioneered the role and it was basically written for him, but Rampage probably got as close as anyone else can. Face was alright. I never really watched much of the show and I wasn't paying much attention to Face when I did, but Bradley Cooper played him as a pretty fun character and I enjoyed it. The best part of the movie is definitely Murdock, though. Sharlto Copley was amazing. He had the best lines in the entire movie and Murdock's insanity just complimented the crazy awesome high-octane feel of the movie perfectly. He was probably the most memorable character in the movie. All in all, the movie is crazy fun and I recommend it.

 9.
* Black and white, good versus evil, and yin and yang are going to play a major part in the plot. However, unlike previous Pokemon games, the decisions and choices you make will "influence" the plot of the game. If you make "good" choices, you might get certain help or items, whereas "bad" choices could have negative effects. The point is that the plot will not be as cut-and-dry as previous games, changing depending on the player's actions.
Kick. Ass. 10.
Now I gotta find a replacement.
Soul Eater is still getting better by the month, if that helps. This was a fantastic end to a fantastic series. Everything the characters did fit them perfectly, even
Greed's heroic sacrifice. I bet nobody saw that coming, but damn if it wasn't believable, even though the guy's name is Greed. He committed one of the most selfless acts in the entire series and did it all while being the cocky bastard we all know and love.
Ed
giving up his ability to perform alchemy in order to bring Al back was another great development. It makes sense that no one has been able to figure this one out for 107 chapters, since most people wouldn't consider alchemy as a valid part of Equivalent Exchange, but rather a tool used to regulate that law. Ed's always thought outside the box, and it seems fitting he'd be the first person for that thought to occur to.

Father's final fate is excellent. I consider it ultimate proof that Hiromu Arakawa does her research, especially considering the fact that she's a Japanese mangaka. It parallels Christian theology quite well and manages to avoid two basic mistakes that other works of fiction make all the time. 1: Most works of fiction depicting the Devil portray him as some kind of all-powerful anti-God who rules Hell with an iron fist and has an awesome time doing it. According to Christian belief, this is fundamentally wrong. Hell is supposed to be the ultimate punishment for everyone who dwells there, especially Satan himself. The Devil isn't in Hell to rule it, he's there to be punished for his hubris (incidentally, Satan is supposed to be the current form of the angel Lucifer, who was exiled from Heaven for attempting to equal God. Sound familiar?). If we think of Father as the Fullmetal Alchemist version of Satan, his end perfectly mirrors this. 2: Mostly a problem with other anime and manga series, but most mangaka/anime studios tend to not bother researching Western religion at all and just throw in words like "angel" or draw a few crosses here and there because it looks cool. Arakawa, on the other hand, actually manages to go pretty in-depth and show her work. Which is kind of funny, since her main character is a self-proclaimed atheist (at least he used to be, not sure where he stands on that after all the crazy stuff that just went down.) Either way you look at it, you have to admit that this is pretty impressive on Arakawa's part, whether or not you actually believe in any of it.
The epilogue was really nice, and it was a total bonus for me because just about every ship I boarded ended up being canon
Say what you will, Older MayxAlphonse is adorable.
Although I'm not sure about one.
It depends on whose puppies those were and whether or not Black Hayate is actually a girl. If so, DenxHayate FTW.
All in all, a fitting end to a great ride. I'm looking forward to Arakawa's next series and hope it comes soon. She's a brilliant storyteller and it's just not going to be the same as long as I don't have another chapter of her work to look forward to every month.

 14.
I'm actually curious, could you please elaborate on said old Japanese proverb? lol
Not sure on the exact details, but it's based on the Red String of Fate, which is said to be an invisible thread tying two fated soulmates together from the male's thumb to the female's pinky (Don't ask how they know it's red if it's invisible, I can't figure that one out, either). Also, it seems I was mistaken about the origin, it's actually a Chinese concept. It's very popular in Japan, though. There's even a Pokémon item that references it.

Or rather, while Avatar was an admittedly clever redux of an old and mediocre story (which still made it mediocre), PoP paid homage to its game with all the quality of a spaghetti-western storefront façade. That was my point with my earlier comment, and I'm pretty sure you were aware of that, sir. As for the rest, I respectfully disagree and since I doubt either of us are going to change each others' minds about this one, that's my last word on the subject. Either way, hated one, didn't mind the other.
 16. You know what? I'm feeling good today and I finally don't have eighty other things on my plate, so here it comes. Naruto chapter 498: JEEZ MOM KNOCK BEFORE YOU JUST WALTZ IN MY SOUL LIKE THAT Our chapter opens with Naruto and his mother deep in conversation. Specifically the conversation of who the hell are you and what are you doing inside my soul. Mom lets out some remarkably eerie laughter and tells him to guess. Naruto guesses wrong, Mum pops him one. Haha, domestic abuse is funny! Anyway, turns out Kushina's apparently been a little hot-blooded and semi-violent since birth. So she's basically a female version of every ridiculously manly mecha pilot in the history of anime. I'm going to have to think long and hard about whether or not that's actually kinda hot. Anyway, that's where Naruto must get it from, but the genes are obviously watered down because Naruto sucks and his mom is actually kinda cool. Oh, you hadn't pieced it together, Mr. Hero? That's right, she's your mom. You really don't get how shonen works, do you? HUG'D. ...Y'know what, I'm gonna have to punch something for that. Emotion has a very hard time building up if hugging is the solution to every damn problem he comes across. Just for that, Naruto will be referred to as.... *Wikipedia Run* ...Tenderheart Bear for the rest of this recap. Meanwhile on the outside, the MAGICAL SOUL HUG has halted [s]Naruto[/s] Tenderheart's transformation. Kushina promises to chat with the kid later, then launches an assault.... Wait, how many innermost beings does this kid have? He's talking to his mother's spirit inside himself fighting the Kyuubi's influence inside himself. Apparently he has a Russian Doll Soul. Anyway, Kushina reinforces the assault on Kyuubi, thus proving that Tenderheart can't overcome any of his own obstacles without like five people providing him with handicaps a decade in advance. He then comments on how hot his own mom okay seriously Kishimoto. Incest is creepy. And Tenderheart is not a "Hunk", so shut up. Also, Kushina talks like a valley girl when she's flustered. Strange verbal tic. Minor flashback occurs, featuring how Tenderheart's parents met. I'm not entirely experienced in the ways of romance, but I'm pretty sure that's one of the two things most kids absolutely do not want to know about their parents, second only to how their own conception came about. Anyway, then met up in Ninja school and Kushina aspired to greatness. Tenderheart then makes yet another remark assuring me that his bloodline should end here and now. Sorry, Kushina, I blame it on your hubby. Furthermore, all the boys made fun of Kushina when she was young. Then she beat the everloving shit out of them. Dammit, why can't she be the main character? Minato wanted "Everyone to acknowledge [him] and become a great Hokage". So apparently his goal is to get noticed, and then let everyone else run the village (Granted, I blame this misinterpretation on the translators rather than Kishimoto himself). Anyway, blah blah boring Hansel and Gretel plot Kushina's hair is a terrible analogy for an old Japanese proverb. Kushina concludes by declaring that she likes to say one thing to men who like her hair in general; "I love you". I will not make an incest joke here, because this is a perfectly healthy sentiment between mother and son (not so much with HEY MOM YOU'RE A TOTAL BABE). I will, however, point out that considering how many men consider red hair attractive, this seems like a very loose condition for undying affection. As the chapter concludes, Tenderheart gives himself a truly terrible nickname. The end.
 17.
Robin Hood is a great movie. Prince of Persia is as good as Avatar; if you loved Avatar then you'll love this movie, and if not then you won't.
That can't be right, I despised Avatar with the burning passion of a thousand suns, but I thought Prince of Persia was pretty okay. I mean, it's nothing stellar or anything, but it's got some nice action scenes and a coherent storyline. The villain was obvious and the sexual tension was through the roof, but it wasn't pretending to be anything better than what it was. It also gains points over Avatar for not being a preachy, self-important sack of crap.
 18.

Mithos's final form
in Tales of Symphonia. It's been years since I've played through the game, but I remember
his final form
being hilariously easy. I'm unsure if it was supposed to be like that or not, but...still! I think all I did was back him into the corner of the screen and just whaled on him until he was defeated.
To be fair with this one,
Mithos
Phase 1 was the epitome of an annoying little *****, what with being tiny and delivering status effect after status effect in quick succession while teleporting around the room and poking Raine just as she's about to heal everyone, so it was more like a breather after the "real" boss than an actual anticlimax. Anyway, the Elite Four in Pokémon SoulSilver were pretty weak, Lance was about the only one who posed half a threat on the first run. Red did not disappoint, though.
 19.
Thank god....... I finally understand the point of the backstory and it's to introduce Sado. (I agree that he is going to come back into the series to find Luffy ) I also just had a shocking thought.
Could Sado be Law??? He's helped Luffy without hesitation and also has the same goal as him... Plus they both have very similar hats

That's a pretty interesting theory, actually, yeah. I can see it happening, all it requires is for
Law to have dyed his hair
. Another thought I just had is that
Sado might be Eustass Kidd, since they share the same hair color, they have the same style of goggles, and they both have a deep and passionate hatred of the higher class. Then again, Kidd's hair isn't as curly as Sado's.
I'd say the odds are about even of either one being the truth, though it's probably more likely that we just haven't seen him in the present day yet.
 20. Well, either the flashback's over or it'll be over soon.
Personally, I'm willing to bet that Sabo is still alive. Either Dragon somehow got involved and saved him or he snuck on the Noble's ship and stowed away until he could get back to a port and join a crew. If so, he'll probably reenter the series before too long and help Luffy reboot from his Critical Hero Error.

 21. Admittedly, it does raise difficulties for those outside of Eagleland (the greatest country... In America.), but it's a bit of an understandable one, since a lot of the ads Hulu circulates are geared towards US consumers and probably wouldn't sell much overseas, like crappy reality TV shows and Axe body spray. Still, it's an issue that's going to affect a good portion of fans abroad and that's a vital market, all things considered. They should focus on getting that covered, for sure. Especially since that means people overseas are suffering from Castle deprivation, as well.
 22. Just to put it out there, One Piece is already being simulcast (same week for free, even) on FUNimation's website. In any case, I definitely think this is the way to go for revenue as far as anime is concerned. Few networks have been willing enough to take chances by airing anime in the first place, and it's just stupid to expect the fans to buy something they don't know if they like yet, so DVD-only is out of the question. If a company doesn't want to buckle under the weight of their own accusatory victim stance (Lookin' at you, BANG ZOOM!), they're going to have to provide a sample, at least. Personally, I think Hulu is the perfect place for this, since it makes shows available for free with limited commercial interruption. The fans can preview a series they want to watch and the companies still get ad revenue, so everyone wins. I'm not much a fan of Crunchyroll's subscription service, particularly since you can get the same kind of service legally and for free free elsewhere, but it's another valid way to get your fix while the company still gets their money, so it's another solution, I suppose. It's kind of like Netflix in a way, since as a pay-by-month service, the only limit imposed on you is how much you yourself take the initiative to watch. In any case, there are ways to save the industry and they're readily available. If the companies provide them and the fans are willing to use them, we should start seeing a turnaround.
 23. So does anyone know how to disable this new internet browser feature that borks the quality of all images on a webpage in exchange for speed? I don't want to push Shift+A every time I switch pages, dangit.
 24. The days in Eastern Washington vary wildly recently. Today was probably the best general example of how it's been working around here lately. I woke up to a Citywide waterfall of a cloud, which lasted about half a day, but then the sky cleared up and I managed to spend most of the 6 o'clock hour playing a completely absurd game of soccer with some of my friends.
