Oh, and grats, guys. :)
The Game's been over for eons. As for all you people who won, Imagine fireworks. I can't give them to you, but you totally deserve them.
2. Ladies and gentlemen If you all please A sequel to Portal Is getting released! This Christmas will be pretty awesome, I fear When this brilliant software is finally here!
3. My problem stems at least halfway from the way the series is written. even looking at the big picture, I understand that I'm supposed to dislike Sasuke because of his terrible actions and general lack of repentance, but the thing is I'm not sure Masashi Kishimoto himself has quite grasped that yet. Take this chapter, Sasuke's ranting about all these terrible things he's done and plans to do, and everyone else talks like he's the monster he's supposed to be, but the perspective of the series just refuses to budge from its stance that he's some kind of tragic hero. And Naruto has matured, which is why it's all the more frustrating to see him so devoted to making a blind (haha almost literally) man see the light. Sasuke's showing no signs of ever returning to sanity and rather than regard that, Naruto still clings to his childish idealism that he can make Sasuke change if he words his plea correctly. Every non-Sasuke related decision the boy's made since Jiraiya died has been so competent, but the biggest crisis Konoha currently has is the one thing he simply cannot see for what it is. This is why he's still unworthy to be Hokage. As for One Piece, my recommendation is to switch to the manga for now, since it has better overall pacing. You might want to watch some of the anime for the fight scenes, though. They tend to look pretty good in motion, IMO. That's only if you like the scenes enough that you actually want to see them in motion, though. I will admit that OP can be kind of hit-or-miss with some people (I love it to death, some people hate it just as much.)
4.
Naruto at least may have the ability to fight Sasuke evenly one on one, although to be fair Sasuke is without his Sharingan for this fight which he's come to rely on very heavy thus far. Of all the ninjas in Konoha, Naruto is probably the only one who could fight Sasuke and not be killed pretty much instantly so unless he spends his every waking hour handcuffed to Sasuke I don't see anything but the danger of his decision.
Oh he only wishes.

6.
Completely unrelated, but I love dramatic irony. I love it ever so much.
Funny thing, the exact same thing occurred to me earlier. I just can't get enough of the stuff. I'm also deliriously giddy for no good reason about how much of an idiot Nick Simmons is currently making himself look like. He's like a silly monkey, dancing for my amusement. Except he's not going to jump at me and beat me to death with his freakish elongated limbs.
7. Holy crap, this may have been the best chapter in a while.
Whitebeard speaks his last words and is finally confirmed to be dead after an epic curb-stomp throwdown with his former subordinate.
Truly the stuff of legends.
I love how we get to see that Teach is essentially the exact opposite of Luffy in almost every aspect with this chapter. Blackbeard has been scheming and plotting for over ten years to do the things he's just setting into motion now. Luffy graduated top of his class from the Indiana Jones School of Improvisation. Luffy is skinny, flexible and fast. Blackbeard values power over speed and has a gut the size of Mt. Everest. Blackbeard carefully chose his power, which pulls things towards him and leaves him very physically vulnerable. Luffy ate his devil fruit completely accidentally and it gave him the power to spread himself outwards and be impervious to blunt force. And most importantly, Luffy will not hesitate to put his life on the line to save his friends and family and will even willingly accept death with a big, stupid grin. Blackbeard talks a big game about destiny and fate, but when the chips are down and he's got the strongest man in the world strangling him with one hand, he starts begging for mercy like the pitiful coward he really is. And then he calls in his entire crew to bring down his enemy for him. And then that fails too. I think they need to get Mr. 3 to coat Whitebeard's body in wax and immortalize it in front of Marine HQ for all eternity as a final middle finger to them all. it would be the perfect icing on their cake of fail. Their base is trashed, half their troops are dead, they've lost all control since the world has officially been thrown into political turmoil and to top it all off, NEWGATE IS STILL STANDING THERE LEERING AT THEM.

8. Using Freedom of Speech to justify bullying is a cowardly tactic and one of the most offensive things you can do as an American citizen, or indeed a citizen of any free country. The right to Freedom of Speech was put in place to prevent people from being persecuted for the way they think, act or feel. Using it to harass, silence or bully people for those exact reasons goes against everything the Constitution, the United States and the Free World stands for. In short, I'm disappointed, Chibi. You had every right to clench your fist before hitting him.
No you didn't, but I'm actually kind of glad you took a stand, whether or not it was in an appropriate manner. Just tell someone he was being an *** next time, 'kay?

9.
o rly 'Cause when I pre-ordered HeartGold from Amazon, they still had the Ho-oh figurine one available. Maybe SoulSilver is more popular?
Apparently so. The clerk at GameStop told me I would miss out on the figurine if I ordered Soul Silver, and Amazon's order page for it says that the figurine version is out of stock (except for a few that pop up now and then being sold by vidya game scalpers at double the original price oh how I hate those guys.) In contrast, Heart Gold's limited edition is still selling. But Game Crazy has not received word of the figurine selling out, so score for me. :D
10. I just pre-ordered Pokemon: Soul Silver I got lucky, too, since every place except my local Game Crazy had the Lugia Figurines out of stock. Even Amazon. So anyway, that's done and I have a giant bag of Gardetto's right next to me right now, So I kinda feel frickin' awesome.

12.
Because you're Ace. You're the obnoxious one, I'm the kawaii one. :) You love me.
Yes, yes we do. And in my defense, my obnoxiousness isn't always on purpose.
13. Yeah, Marta as in Marta Lualdi from Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World. The Marta you're thinking of I always refer to as Martel, since I was first exposed to the Viz manga translation and that's what they use. Of course, the exact same problem arises using that name, too. And with the exact same video game series, I might add. Back on topic, I have to agree, I think the VAs have all really hit their stride again now. Al's new VA is really starting to sound a lot like Aaron's old work, so it's hard to even notice a difference. The only thing I'm a bit worried about is that Brotherhood doesn't feature as many opportunities for Mustang to chew the scenery. Some of my favorite parts of the original anime were the ones where Travis Willingham living up to his last name. Oh, and if you want to know exactly how versatile Colleen is, wrap your head around this one: This is what else she's known for.
14. Wait, Laura Bailey is Lust? Well now this just makes way too much sense.
15. Someone tried that one on my sister once, only at the movie theater and with $100. You'd think these people would stop to consider whether it's even likely for the cashier to have bills in that amount in the register. It's not a very well thought out scam.
16. Yet another chapter where several characters I hate skirt death before my eyes. THINK UP A NEW PLOT DEVICE YOU TROLL. THESE ONES HAVE BEEN STALE SINCE THE TIMESKIP BEGAN.
17. Oh look another extremely unpleasant person working for the League. I think I should justify this right now. The guy at the end is a mercenary, which is why he's even on this side of the tower. I figure Bugsy would have his men regroup and plan a strategy, or even stop attacking altogether now that the city's taken. he doesn't seem like he's too big into unnecessary casualties. This guy, on the other hand, likes to see people bleed. That's why he's attacking retreating soldiers and civilians. I do have some plans for more sympathetic League members, as well as a possible complete jerk in the Resistance. I'll have to fine-tune 'em, but I have a pretty good idea of what I want to have happen (provided it gels with the rest of the story, of course.)
18. Cam had gotten some experience flying during training, but his legs were still not accustomed to gripping a Skarmory's saddle for any length of time. As such, when Colonel Finn called for a short landing to rest and re-secure equipment, Cam nearly collapsed when his feet hit the ground. "Whoa there, soldier," chuckled the Colonel, putting one arm under Cam's to halt the fall, "You'll get used to it in time. Better get the feeling back in your legs, we'll be taking off again in ten minutes." "Y-yes, sir." Cam started to stagger around his new mount, inspecting it thoroughly. He had decided that the creature's name was Solo. It seemed to like the name, clucking approvingly when Cam used it. "These feathers are huge!" Cam commented, "Is it true they used to be used as swords?" Finn gave out a burst of booming laughter. "Not exactly, son. We still use' em! A Skarmory can be your best friend in a dangerous battle, Roland. Those feathers are sharp as a razor and perfect if a trainer needs to arm himself." "Arm himself? In a Pokemon battle?" The Colonel suddenly grew very serious. "Son, these ain't your silly little trainer scuffles. The League is seizing control and we're fighting back. Both sides are playing for keeps, and that means Pokemon attacking humans." Cam grew silent, eyes widened with horror. "Don't worry, kid. I hear you're an exceptional trainer for your age. At the very least you should be able to hold your own if you follow my orders." "Attacking people...." "Cam," said the Colonel, "If you really can't handle that, it's not too late to back out. You're a volunteer, Claire will understand. Just fly back to Blackthorn and return your Skarmory." Slowly, Cam shook his head. "No, I signed up for this. If I can't bear the consequences, I can't call myself a trainer. I'm prepared to fight." "Well in that case, better mount up," said the Colonel, returning once again to his jovial demeanor, "Your legs workin' yet? Good." --- The sensation of flight itself was actually rather amazing. The wind whipped at Cam's face, blowing through his hair and giving him an overwhelming sense of freedom. He watched the trees pass by below him and took in the lush landscape as far as the eye could see. Behind him, the majestic mountains which he knew were keeping his home just out of sight. Just ahead of him, he could see a tiny speck, which he assumed was the regiment's destination, Ecruteak. The nearer to that speck the regiment got, the more ominous it seemed. Soon they could see the smoke rising from the area, and soon after that the buildings became visible, with one notable exception. "Colonel, the tower is missing!" Finn turned back to face his Lieutenant. "Of course it's missing, Hawkins! The Brass Tower burned down years ago!" "No, sir," replied Hawkins, "The Tin Tower! It's gone!" "No it's not," interrupted Cam, staring at the city below in shock, "It's right there. The tower's collapsed across the middle of the city." --- "What the hell happened here?" demanded Finn of a fleeing trainer wearing Ecruteak's colors. "We've lost the city. If you're the reinforcements, we need help evacuating the civilians to Mt. Mortar." Finn turned to his men. "You heard him, boys! Get your asses in gear! I want those Civvies out of the city yesterday!" Cam rushed to guide a straggling citizen, gently helping her stand and guiding her on her way. As he turned his back to the city, he heard a sudden cry from one of the Ecruteak trainers. "Look out, kid!" Cam turned just in time to see Solo dive in front of him, extending a wing to parry the dangerous forearm of a Beedrill. "Damn," sneered the Beedrill's trainer, "lucky little bastard." Cam stood to face his opponent. I'll hold him off, Colonel. I'm the one he attacked." The Colonel nodded and continued barking orders to the rest of his men. "Don't die, kid."
19.
I never saw that movie, but I have to wonder at how he could've stood out, in the middle of town square, hollering for children with the offer of "cream pops" and "ice cream" and none of those adults came out and called the police.
Basically, children are illegal, so abducting them like some kind of government-employed pedophile is a perfectly acceptable action where he is. It makes sense in context. Horrible, frightening sense.
20. Think of it like the army. All the officers have higher officers. Except the president. He's special.
21. Oh gosh darn it let's get this over with. You know you all thought it as children. "Free candy and ice cream! What could possibly go wrong?" THIS COULD GO WRONG.
22. Oh of course. Happy birthday, Milord. Here, you can have one of my minions as a gift (although you kinda already own him.) You'll like him, I guarantee it. He has these little poisonous spurs on his hind legs. They don't kill people, but they book them a room in the hospital where they'll lie writing in agony for a month or so. Also, there's very little that can be done to dull the pain. I figured you'd appreciate that.
23. "COME SEE THE VIOLENCE INHERENT IN THE SYSTEM! 'ELP! 'ELP! I'M BEIN' REPRESSED!" Please tell me you quoted Monty Python, Chibi.
24. So I guess I just really have a thing for women who can look good without being half-naked. This is Koyomi "Yomi" Mizuhara of Azumanga Daioh. Don't bother to look for this image in the original series, it's from the third chapter of "Supplementary Materials", which is the 10th anniversary special. Anyway, Yomi was always my second favorite character from the series thanks to her mix of being the only sane character and actually being kinda hot (favorite was Osaka, but that's because she's clinically insane.) Intelligence is a big thing I like in women, because I just kind of like the concept of a girl who can think her way out of a paper bag, which seems to be less common in fiction than it is in real life. Yomi's one of the three smartest characters in the class, and she's also just tolerant enough to be able to be the straight man of the group without losing her friggin' mind. Her looks aren't too bad, either. She dresses pretty conservatively most of the time, but that really just seems to compliment her anyway. In fact, I'd probably like her less if she was showing up in a string bikini every other chapter. She's a little self-conscious about her weight, but after all she is a high school girl. Plus, it's not like she's binge puking or anything, so it's all good. And finally, she has red hair (sometimes) and wears glasses. Those are probably my only specific appearance bonuses, and she has them both. And the pigtails in the above image are the most glorious pigtails I've ever seen.
