[FONT="Comic Sans MS"]Yeah, Oda was a huge Dragonball fan as a kid. It tends to show a lot when it comes to main characters. As for [spoiler]defeating Moria,[/spoiler] The World Government has apparently decided that since no one from outside the two crews and [spoiler]Kuma,[/spoiler] they can hush it up to some extent. [spoiler]so far, Luffy's bounty has stayed the same since then and Moria remains a Shichibukai.[/spoiler] [spoiler]I think the thing with Zoro taking all of Luffy's pain from the previous fight was just Oda's way of showing us how devoted Luffy's crew is. Zoro was willing to die right there rather than continue himself and rob his captain of his dream.[/spoiler][/FONT]

[FONT="Comic Sans MS"]I've been on a Tales binge recently. I found a translation patch for the PS1 version of Phantasia, and I'm pretty much done. All I have left in the main game is Dhaos's Castle. There are some pretty interesting differences between this and the GBA version. I think I prefer this one, since the overworld is full 3D and incredibly pretty. Dhaos seems significantly harder in this one, too. At least Past and Present. Haven't fought Future yet. Another thing that's nice is they removed the Urchins from the Morlia Mines. One hit kills and you need items to beat them? No thank you. Of course, we still get Banshees in exchange. I hate those beam-spamming cheapos.[/FONT]

Of course, Pein will never leave a place without giving a stupid, pointless and annoying speech about how horrible war is and how it causes nothing but death, destruction and pain and how he enjoys being a preachy sadistic jerk. Meanwhile, Shizune just got her soul pulled out. [SIZE="4"][B][I][U]WOOT![/U][/I][/B][/SIZE] Sakura's having trouble keeping up with the casualties. ONE LESS TO WORRY ABOUT AMIRITE? In the meantime, The frogs finally figured out that one of their comrades was ruthlessly murdered and they should probably check on it. I should like to point out that the tadpole reporting this seriously appears to be high. Back on the ranch, Peins are vanishing. All except for Darth Pein, who apparently can fly. WTF. The others are in the forest, having a seance or something. Summoning a demon, maybe. The frogs are moving out. Kiba's mom is cracking lame jokes. Kishi can't decide what the hell he wants to show us. Shiba, as the high tadpole is called, is going to help Naruto and Fukusaku summon something that's probably big and destructive. Just what Konoha needs right now. Speaking of which, Pein is usig some kind of lifespan-shortening technique. Apparently, it's.... A nuke? WTF. Whatever, it makes me kinda wonder why he didn't do that in the firs place, if he's so obsessed with causing pain. I doubt it would kill an evil demon fox of doom, since the demon fox is a demon, after all. Also, quick point about Kishi's crappy art. Sakura. I can't decide if she's got a black eye or if he just drew her ugly. Anyway, Guess who everyone wants to come back and save them all? Naruto. The only reason Pein is leaving is because Naruto isn't there. Stupid, stupid ninja creatures. End Chapter.[/FONT]

I won't mention any names, since that would be some major spoilers, but basically eating two causes the "sea devils" inside to fight for dominance, which kills the host violently. Or maybe it's a chemical reaction. Oda's never very clear on how plausible his mythology is. There's usually two sides to every phenomenon.[/FONT]

Ebisu comes to the rescue, only to get kicked in the throat, once again rendering this village's ranking system completely useless just because Konohamaru is still breathing. The interrogation begins, and Kono doesn't give up any information. Ooh, a training flashback. Yippee, we get to see Naruto teach Konohamaru Stripper no Jutsu in past tense. Oh, he's teaching him Rasengan. Which Kono immediately uses, coupled with two shadow clones, to one-hit own Pein. TIME THE HELL OUT. ... No, there are precious few words in the English language to accurately describe how stupid, mixed up, badly executed, overpowered, and just plain wrong that was. Carry on, my wayward son. TIME IN AGAINST MY BETTER JUDGMENT. Now he's smack-talking the soul-devouring demon man. Who the hell do you think you are, kid? Cut to Tsunade and Darth Pein. There is indeed recognition, as well as much Pein being full of himself again. Apparently, Pein is a terrorist for removing demon animals more powerful than Nukes from circulation with as little bloodshed as possible. That sick freak, looking out for the good of mankind. Anyway, much boring talk of things we already know occurs, concluding with Tsunade once again putting way too much faith in a child with one of the most volatile forces of destruction known to mankind under his very irresponsible care. The fact that he has the attention span of a gnat does not help. Cut to the Exposition Squad, who have finally put together what we've known for about two or three months now. The six Peins are being controlled by something else. Thank you, Obvious Brigade. Suddenly, a bunch of spontaneous action occurs and Shizune gets kidnapped. ...Let her die. She's not really much help to anyone anyway. Oh, but she is. Her weak, brittle mind has revealed to all six of Pein that Naruto is out doinking around in Frogland. The End.[/FONT]
