I've been playing Boktai 2: Solar Boy Django lately. Seriously, it makes me sad that something as fun, innovative and clever as the Boktai series never caught on in the US. Sure, the solar sensor could be a pain in the butt sometimes, but it's just so good. There's no reason not to like these games. If you've never played it, do so. I've been playing it on an emulator with a solar sensor mod patch. It's so much easier without having to worry about the actual natural weather of the outside world. I also got the third one with an English patch and solar sensor mod for after that. I just wish I still had my Boktai 2 cartridge.[/FONT]

He loves to tell strange stories, especially ones about a man named Penelope. Though he calls himself a bard, he can't sing worth a lick and usually just speaks his stories normally. He wants to find the portal because he believes he can't "get better" until he's back on Earth.[/FONT]

[FONT="Comic Sans MS"]According to the game, Aaron, your gunner, can only fire his solar guns with a terrennial in tow. However, plenty of other gunners in the game seem to manage just fine without them. They do add elemental properties to your weapons, but the most useful function of them is probably Trance Mode, where you fuse with them and become more powerful. In the game, Alexander makes tornadoes instead of fusing. You could probably go ahead and bypass that and invent your own Trance form if you want, though. Basically, Trance Mode is purely you. No weapons. Instead, you can suck energy from your enemies or cause waves to injure them. I might do mine differently, but I haven't fully decided.[/FONT]

An entire legion of zombies was standing on the other side of the wall. Van froze for almost fifteen seconds before his natural instincts finally kicked in. Terror gripped the very core of his being as he ran for his life through the city streets. Suddenly, there was a dead end. Turning around, he noticed the undead creatures make an odd semicircular shape around him. A strange black object was floating elegantly through the night sky, coming down to land in the middle of the clearing. A tall, menacing, pale figure rose from the landing space. ?Welcome,? the vampire slyly drawled, ?you?re just in time for dinner! Of course, you look more suited to be a dessert, so I think I?ll allow you to sit back and enjoy my meal and your show for now.? ?You?ll never get away with this, Brahm!? smirked Van, ?I?m not the only one here, you know.? Count Brahm smiled menacingly. He looks kinda like Naruto does in one-tail mode. Sasuke noticed too. Good for him. He activates his shenanigans and does this weird flippy thing over the guy. Apparently only Sasuke and Killer 'Bi's brother can dodge him in this mode. He's still bustin' lame rhymes, by the way. Oh, Suigetsu just remembered he can turn into water. So he can dodge, too. Sasuke tells Karin to keep an eye on 8-Tails, who's too fast and strong to keep up with without Sharingan, anyway. Sasuke nearly gets owned, but he activates his super newclear mango shenanigans. Which turns out to be... Oh, yippy skip. More genjutsu. It temporarily paralyzes 8-Tails and Sasuke approaches to throw the Master Ball and make the catch. Suddenly... SASUKE GET OWNED! Oh, wow. This kid bleeds. Is that supposed to bend that way? Anyway, it's Juugo to the rescue. He catches Sasuke, who is seriously bleeding on everything, not that I mind. Karin rushes in, no doubt to get another masochist fix. Problem, though. Sasuke's neck and chest are missing. COOL! Maybe he'll actually die. Juugo thinks of Kimimaro for a second. I have no idea what "he's like my reincarnation" means, but I do recall that Kimimaro died. Good sign. Oh, but Juugo also has a ridiculous Deus Ex Machina healing power. He's gong to fuse some of his skin and chakra where Sasuke's used to be. Damn, looks like he's gonna live again. Sidenote: close your shirt, Karin. Those bite marks do the impossible by making you less attractive. Anyway, 8-Tails explains that since he can control his beast they can snap each other out of Genjutsu spells. Not gonna work, Sasuke. Finally, we shall meet his true form. It's a... giant Ox. With octopus tentacles for tails. Kishi, share with me the drug which you partake in. The End.[/FONT]

Unfortunately, I can see how it was nessecary to kill him off, but it didn't make it any less depressing. Plus the way it currenty has Simon totally messed up is also kind of sad. Luckily, the scene was handled really well with the Last Hurrah of the Gurren Lagann. Plus his amazing last words made him even cooler in death than he was alive. "Simon, don't believe in you believing in me. Don't even believe in me believing in you. Believe in your belief in yourself!" Too bad about Yoko, though. That was really bad timing on both their parts.[/spoiler][/FONT]

While I agree it's a pretty silly idea and there are a few changes that might bother a number of people, I see it no different as Batman or Spider-Man. It's a comic book that someone's making into a live-action movie. Besides, ever think about the rest of American Cinema and how downright weird it can be? Spider-Man is a movie about a guy who dresses up in tights and swings through New York like a red and blue Tarzan fighting a green Power Rangers reject. It's a good movie, though. Ghostbusters is about a bunch of comedians running around New York zapping paintings and Marshmallow men. They're both American classics. Star Wars? Don't get me started. See, these are all just strange. The thing that makes the difference is the people behind and in front of the camera making these bizarre concepts super special awesome. And that, my friends, is the difference between [B]Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade[/B] and [B]Batman & Robin.[/B] Hopefully, this one goes the way of the former. If it doesn't, it doesn't. I can see this actually working out quite well, though.[/FONT]

Plus with all the grade to buy 10x Exp. and the like it's a total cakewalk for bosses. I've also almost gotten there with [B]The Legend of Zelda: The Windwaker.[/B] It's my personal favorite Zelda, no offense to Ocarina fans. It's fun, clever, got some nice puzzles and bosses and the graphics are quite pretty. I still play it from time to time.[/FONT]
