Anime Let's Talk about Abridged Series
The Spectacular Professor replied to The Spectacular Professor's topic in Otaku Central
So LittleKuriboh is awesome. Anybody else catch their April Fool's joke where he made a "final episode" and then made an episode of Zorc and Pals. The Zorc and Pals one is pretty funny. -
April Fools - What Are Your Plans?
Ace, I think you need to go to Ace Attorney Rehab >_> Just kidding. But seriously where in the frip do you get all these Ace Attorney game images?
I rip 'em off Court Records (link) and put them in my Photobucket, since CR doesn't like hotlinking. -
Did anyone else notice the Triforce hand inconsistency in the Zelda 'trailer'? It looked cool, but that jumped at me pretty quick. And speaking of fake trailers, here's a cool one.
You mean Link having the Triforce of Power? 'Cuz it kind of looked that way to me.
As for the browser one by Aceburner, lets just say that they should be grateful the University program I was logged into has an automatic save feature so getting forcibly logged out didn't delete all my work. Because otherwise, if I really had lost over an hour's worth of essay homework, someone would have been murdered for that.
I think I can officially say that this threat scares the crap out of me, knowing that if you knew my location (and it's probably pretty easy to find,) you'd keep your promise. It's probably best to lay low for a while. -
Hmm in my Nintendo DS Ive got Final Fantasy VII which Ive not gotten too far on yet (Im upto The Tower of Owen part which I keep dying on the Boss Medusa :animesigh).
Objection! You claim to be playing Final Fantasy VII on your Nintendo DS. However, I have a piece of evidence here which shows that such a thing is impossible! Take That! Final Fantasy VII has not been ported to the DS. However, judging fror your testimony, I may be able to solve this mystery. Take That! Judging from your testimony about how far you've gotten in the game, I believe the game you're playing would have to be... Final Fantasy III for the Nintendo DS! Yeah, so I've been replaying the Ace Attorney games again. Can you tell?:animeswea
If there's one thing I've learned, it's that Des always knows about all the coolest videos out there on the net. It's almost creepy at times. Heh. Anyway, if I had known about this, I would have posted this sooner on account of it being one of the coolest April Fools Day pranks pulled yesterday, but alas, I did not. Still I'm going to share it with you just the same... enjoy! Legend of Zelda Movie Trailer Debut (HD) I have only one thing to say about that... if only.
Woah, that actually made me think that a Live-action Zelda movie wouldn't be such a bad idea! Few problems, of course; Link looks way too old, both Zelda and Ganondorf look pretty fake and the plot they were apparently going for couldn't decide if it wanted to be OoT or TP. Other than that, I would actually go see that movie if it existed.
Seconded, it's only a pity DragonWarrior isn't still around any more, I'm sure he could have made a wickedly funny OB story out of this.
In a extremely ironic twist of fate, he just posted in the Anthology. PM HIM NAO!!! -
I could've added the music too. I could've even made it so you couldn't turn it off. However, I hold a strong loathing of auto-playing music on web sites. Just so everyone knows, I'm expecting Des's shenanigans for today to be chronicled somehow. Also, that Valentine's prank should be noted somehow. That is all. -
EDIT: By the way people, do yourself a favor and don't click on what Aceburner just posted unless you want to lose everything you are doing in firefox since you'll have to close it and restart the program.
Actually, you could just click "back" or close the tab, since that's how links work on message boards. The problem is that your main instinct is to kill it as quickly as possible. It stops moving after a while, so it gets easier to get rid of. Unless you're not using a tabbed browser. Do they make those anymore? Oh, and before I forget, Des: You think you're so clever... If you weren't, I'd chew you out. -

I'm not sure if it's safe to reveal anything. My victims check this site from time to time. Suffice to say I will be annoying at the very least. I wish spring break didn't fall on this week. I've got plenty of ideas for school pranks. -
Chrono Crusade gets epic at the end...at least in the anime. That's a really good series in my opinion. It's winner after winner with you eh?:)
Looks like it. Gonna have to track down the rest, then. -
Nausicaa is probably one fo my favorite Miyazaki flicks. The entire thing had me guessing as to what will happen. Also the scenery was gorgeous. Apparently the manga is even better than the anime. If you enjoy that(which you will) you should check it out.
I'm considering it, definitely. It was an awesome movie. Also been reading Chrono Crusade. Picked this one up at the library, too. Maybe not the most epic thing in the world, but it's entertaining and I like most of the characters. -
Ethical Styles Quiz - Silliness Expected!
What can I say really? I'd say it fits me well enough. I believe in rules and laws and do my best to obey them, but I also see where there are times when they casue more harm then good and should be over looked for the greater good. Weather that's wrong or not is up to interpretation.
Here's my interpretation: Laws and governments are in place to protect the people subject to them from being hurt. If a law or policy stops functioning in such a way altogether, the it serves no purpose and should be eliminated. Justice-minded as I apparently am, if anyone gave me an order that I think is corrupt, I would not follow it, because it would hurt others with little or no justification. I hate dictatorships and any other form of government that looks out for number 1 instead of protecting its people like a government should. Governments are there to help people, not exploit them. In short, my style of justice only follows the rules if the rules benefit humanity. I'd have been shot down for mutiny in World War II if Hitler ever told me to kill a Jew for being a Jew. -

So I picked up Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind today. I saw it at the library and remembered how much I liked both Howl's Moving Castle and Spirited Away, so I just had to get it. So far I'm only about 15 minutes in, but I like what I've seen. Saying Miyazaki is a genius may be an understatement. -

8-1 in favor of Justice. I suppose that fits. I care about people, but I'm a firm believer in atonement. I can't stand to see people hurting each other in any way without just cause, even if my friends are the culprits. -
I wrote and posted this on the GameFAQs Brawl forum for some reason. Maybe you guys will be interested in reading it. I'm pretty bored. :animestun EDIT: Click here to read the GameFAQs members responses. Pretty funny, lol.
Those GF'ers never cease to amuse me! A wall of text is an impenetrable fortress of upwards of nine lines in a row with no paragraph breaks. "Too long, didn't read" indicates laziness. This is probably why I only ever dink around the Apollo Justice board.

Oh man, this made me chuckle. Somehow it makes all those ripoff Nintendo games on the CD-i look awesome, as well as those cheesy video game-based cartoons.
And actually, I like Scott's style. Very controlled, precise.
Yeah, it's an actual style, I'm pretty sure. Rapier, I think. It looks kind of flashy and braggy with a weapon made of pure energy that's usually handled like a cross between a broadsword and a katana, though. Then again, Jedi lightsaber duels have always been a bit flashy.

Music What Are You Listening To?
The Spectacular Professor replied to .:[ Revy ]:.'s topic in Noosphere
Fair enough, keep in mind, I was offended by the vulgar choice of words your friend used. I'm not saying you shouldn't have those fun moments between you and your friends, only that you shouldn't expect others to even get the joke or laugh at it. Understand?
Don't mind DB too much. Making you feel uncomfortable in at least 17 different ways is just his way of saying "hello." Anyway, I'm kind of looking around for new music currently. I might just start listening to Weird Al again. I haven't in a while. Queen is good, too. -

Publicity - Your thoughts about it.
The Spectacular Professor replied to Elf_Of_Light's topic in General Discussion
In that case, I really don't pay much attention to it. I get most of my news from the internet, so I usually know if something I'm interested in is coming along long before commercials start popping up. Sometimes, advertisements can be funny, interesting or informative, but they usually just get on my nerves. -
Are you a good cook?
The Spectacular Professor replied to Rachmaninoff's topic in General Discussion
Wow. I've let this thread go on for a while without posting in it. Shame on me. Well, I'm no gourmet, but I make a mean spaghetti. I don't do much else that isn't packaged, though (and the spaghetti is technically packaged too. I add stuff to make it better.) I have been known to experiment from time to time, but they mostly end up simple and predictable. By the way, Pico de Gallo and BBQ potato chips don't mix. -

It'd have to be .pkmn like the games. And I thought the way the thread was going the 2 most likely were
.ninja
and .deathknight.
