Oh, and I learned something a while back about Smash while playing a newbie: hit and run... doesn't work well. I usually end up on a one way trip to sailing off the stage land that way. But you probably all know that. Or maybe I'm doing it wrong?:confused:

I just caught up to the FMA manga the other day. Whew, you want conspiracy theories... *shudder* I like Ed's personality when it gets down to friends in danger, but it sometimes makes me wonder if the kid's bipolar.

I find it quite hard to believe no one else has read this in over a year, especially since it's an ongoing series. Anyway, I think Arakawa is approaching the endgame. Reasons (MASSIVE SPOILERS DO NOT READ UNLESS YOU HAVE READ CHAPTER 77. THIS MEANS YOU, ANIME WATCHERS! IT'S NOT THE SAME STORY! [spoiler]-All the homunculus have been revealed. (Selim Bradley is Pride, Ling is the new Greed.) -Hohenhiem's big secret and the origin of "Father" have been revealed. -The Elrics have rescued Winry from the government's grasp. -Al's body is starting to call him back, meaning there's little time left. -Winry and Ed is more or less canon now. -"Father" is setting something up big with five chosen alchemists (although the fifth isn't decided yet.) -There's only one point on the giant pentagram left. -Finally, there's not much left to reveal.[/spoiler] Anyone else think so? I personally think the ending is shaping up to be amazing.

Well, it's that time of year again. "Time for another Ill-conceived attempt by Ace to strike up a conversation in the Ampitheater?" No! Christmastime! Anyway, this thread is to discuss all the holiday specials that air around this time that we all feel we simply MUST watch, despite all the times we have in the past. Of course, this can mean anything from live action to cartoon to the Muppets. Anyway, What TV specials do you watch Every year about this time? I usually try to make it a point to see "A Charlie Brown Christmas" and the Mickey Mouse Christmas Carol (Is that the name? I can't remember exactly.) They're classics and I enjoy watching them again each year, although it appears I missed my chance on Charlie Brown this year. Also, I apologize if you find my use of the word "Christmas" offensive, although I tend to consider it a bit anal to get uppity about that kind of thing.

I'm not sure what the problem is here. Last I checked, Marijuana is perfectly legal and an acceptable thing to smoke here in the US. When you're about to die most painfully and have no other way to null it. Any other uses: No. Not even thinking about it. Besides the fact that it's way too abundant around where I live, getting high for no reason is just plain stupid and irresponsible. Even for the "responsible" people, I see both no point and little self control (I must question how you got into it in the first place.) And finally, I don't care if you revolutionize the country to make fish-slapping common practice, no amount of lobbying for legalization is gonna get you out of this. Okay, That was a good episode. I was a bit disappointed at a little bit of toned-down violence, But I know for a fact that FUNi did much better than they who must not be named would have. Voices are amazing, especially Doflamingo, Mihawk and Shanks. (I think I've fallen in love with Doflamingo, despite the fact that I'm totally heterosexual. It's the walk.) Also, I would like to point out something that we all know 4Kids would have edited, despite the total pointlessness of it. Remember the part where Doflamingo's doing his [spoiler]marionette[/spoiler] thing and it kind of looks like he's giving someone the finger? It's still there. On a final note, I never noticed how poor voice direction was in the original dub. I watched a clip of the "lollipop on the sword" scene. I wanted to yell out "Luffy! Stop Yelling!" His old VA knows no calmness. Also, remember the time They thought it would be a good idea to have Anime characters sing the National Anthem? I watched it again. I died a little inside.
