Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think they've confirmed Sheik at this point as being a form for Zelda in Brawl. Do you guys think it's likely that they'll keep her in for this game, or is it possible that a greater number of characters are intended to make up for "individual multiples"? They're my main characters for Melee, so I'd be highly disappointed if they decided not to keep them. lol
Well, considering Pokemon Trainer and Zero Suit Samus, I would be VERY surprised if Sheik wasn't playable. Besides, Subspace has plenty of room for any lore, even Hylian.
The whole zelda thing...LEARN TO READ PEOPLE, the descripsion is, OLD ZELDA!
That was for the one in front. it's the OoT Palette. It is close to the TP one, but not quite. The other one is, in fact, Goth Zelda.
The Triforce symbol has been around far longer than the KKK. It's based on the family crest of the Hōjō clan. Just FYI. :triforce:
I know. The triple-delta is a pretty popular symbol. I just like to read into things way too much.

I waited until the massacre subsided and got a 2-for-1 game deal on Napoleon Dynamite and Nacho Libre for DS. The latter is for a friend, but I've already beaten Napoleon. Not that impressed, really. It's like WarioWare with only 25 minigames.
You're the one who said it. XD
And I meant it. Brokeback Shipyard! (Yes, I steal all of these.) -
About the whole trainer thing, its possible to have different trainers but it wouldnt be that cool, changing pokemon? cool! acctually doing it, not possibele, you would have to have completely different charcters, moves,Final smashes, attacks. Sound like a new character?its cool but not possible, most likely different pokemon stuff cause the trainer isint that important.
You'd need different character models. You wouldn't nessecarily need to get new attacks because the attacks are basically usable by all respective starters. you would, however, have to design new hit boxes, so it wouldn't be exactly the same character. About the white tunic: really the only reason I make fun of it is because of the hat. Plus the fact that Ocarina of Time is a racist game (flip the Triforce upside-down and it's a Klan symbol. Also, ever notice that you're trying to kill the only green-skinned guy in the entire game?) In closing, this is all in jest. Please don't sue me, Nintendo.
Since that would require using completely different character models I think you can count that idea out. All the other changes we've seen so far have simply been reskins of the same models (which looks weird for Samus' fusion suit) and I doubt they'd go so far as to not only do whole new models for one character, but the three-in-one for the Pokémon Trainer. Not to mention different character models equals different hit box locations, which could give some of the variations advantages over others. On another note, I get the feeling I'm going to be the only one playing the white tunic Link amid a sea of Dark Links.
Yeah, I figured as much. And I definitely agree with the Fusion Suit looking weird. Also, Des, you use KLAN LINK?!:o

Tatsubei... the One Piece, keep it coming. -
Actually, for some reason, I didn't even think about the Pokemon getting different stuff. XD
Well, technically you play as the Pokemon, so it would make sense to have shinies or hats, but playing as the male Hoenn trainer would be fun. Here's a wishful thought: what if they use different region starters? Croconaw? yes please. Unfortunately, they would have to animate every one individually, I think. Any verification?
So here's this giant [strike]enemy[/strike] lover crab. . . .
That hit my bestiality weakpoint for massive damage. And mental scarring. Okay, so I haven't been up to date on Black Cat, but I'm getting worried about Rins. -
My question now is...does manga panels start from the right or the left? I know it might be a noob question but I want to know.
Doesn't really matter, but if you want the "authentic" (i.e. Japanese style) feel, start on the right. If you're still confused, pick up a Shonen Jump. That's the format the Japanese Mangaka use.

The Ceiling Of Your Dreams [E]
The Spectacular Professor replied to Boo's topic in General Discussion
Wouldn't mind a TV on my ceiling. There's no confortable way to watch the TV from your bed, IMO. though it would take getting used to. And my ceiling/wall wouldn't work with it.
"Recluse Living in Parent's Basement Crushed to Death by Falling Television" In all seriousness: I'm kind of liking ocean-themed stuff of late. A nice little beachfront property scenery would do for me, unless it gave me the feeling of imminent drowning. -
Along with YGO comes DBZ, I may be a huge DBZ fan, but even I can admit that the dub versions music just plain sucked.
Ah, yes, the good ol' days, when FUNimation sucked almost as bad as 4Kids. Luckily, FUNi learns from their mistakes. The new One Piece opening (Jungle P) has yet to grow on me. I don't HATE it, per se, but it's not as good as the others. The only part that really gets me pumped for the show is that funny little Engrish rap near the end.

Banning Protests At Funerals
The Spectacular Professor replied to Rachmaninoff's topic in General Discussion
As for the Yoda thing, not only has it been a while, but i was trying to shorten it up ... but I'm sure he said some thing about the dark side .... unless it was later on and he commented on it.
Actually, right before that quote, if I remember correctly, he said that "Fear is the path to the dark side," so you're kind of right. I was just letting my inner nerd get the better of me. -
Pilot whales. Supposedly, they're currently well-off.
Well then, I'm not too worried.
-
Well first of all here's a link to a news article on this: Article
Domo, Rach-san. I really should have read the TC's post more thoroughly. I didn't realize it was Claire we were talking about. Not that I care much anyway. Don't really watch Heroes. You know, I could really start worrying more if I knew which type of dolphin she was out getting arrested for. As such, most of the quotes in this article sound like sophistry. I do, however, respect her right to share her feelings on the matter. Usually, I don't pay attention to any news story regarding celebrities, since a lot of them are just desperate outcries for attention (Although I DO remember a pretty funny "Over the Hedge" comic from when Britney Spears shaved her head.) This, however, isn't quite as stupid as some others I've seen.
How is that a justification to ignore something you consider atrocius? "Hindus ignore it, you should too?"[ I'm not saying I agree hat dolphins shouldn't be used for food, but I don't see how other's inaction should prevent anyone else from acting on their beliefs.
My point was actually something along the lines of "Don't preach to a culture you don't understand, because it makes you look stupid to them." The cow is a sacred animal to the Hindu culture. However, They don't come out and say that you can't eat hamburgers anymore because they don't think you should. Anyway, In order to keep this from becoming a flame war, I'm going to go ahead and say right now that I am extremely ill-informed about the story at hand. I agree with The13thMan, any source anyone could provide us with would be nice. Basically, I think James has summed up my feelings on the matter with his last comment.
Sad story when they replace cool anime shows for kids to watch with random cartoons that don't even have a plot/story.
Actually, I'm kind of grateful that 4Kids has moved on from dubbing. At least their original shows are terrible to begin with.
There's at least one endangered species of Dolphin that the Japanese hunt. Not to mention that the method Hayden was protesting is somewhat... inhumane, and consists of beaching the dolphins.
So stick the Dolphin on a list and ban that particular practice. You don't see Hindus raising international outcries over the American Hamburger. I agree that this is blown way out of proportion. If there is one species of dolphin that is endangered, then have it protected and have the others hunted in a different manner. You don't need to ban the entire practice over one specific species and method. People have to eat. Anyone miss that chicken they had last week?

Banning Protests At Funerals

I'm still trying to understand why their "destiny" gives them an excuse to be grade-A butts. -
I strongly dislike the first and sixth openings of Naruto. And pretty much everything done my 4kids. I've got the Tokyo Mew Mew (sorry, Mew Mew Power) theme stuck in my head, and I'm hating every minute of it.
Do they still own the license to that? They lost a lot of ground recently. Then again, they own the Saturday morning blocks for Fox AND CW, which sucks, because my fond childhood memories of Animaniacs are being ruined by crap like "Johnny Test" and "Skunk-Fu." (What a horrid pun for the name of a show, by the way.)

Gaming The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
The Spectacular Professor replied to ThePikasElbow's topic in Noosphere
Finding all the treasure maps, dredging the bottom of the ocean at the glow rings, beating all the cannons in the reefs to get a treasure chest... I spent hours finding all the stuff you can at sea. Which incidentally makes the issue of having money for Tingle irrelevant. This game gives you more money than you'll ever need. lol.
It's really just the principle of the matter. Only the most extreme of masochists wants to talk to Tingle, and this game makes you fork over money to him. -
JB had DONNY OSMOND. It even had an ep with Donny AND Weird Al Yankovic!!! That sow was an unsung hero. JB and The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy are like an adult's saving grace on CN.
I remember that! "Wait, you guys can fly?" "We're the Blue Falcon, Donny Osmond and Weird Al Yankovic! We can do ANYthing!" Good times. But seriously, we all know that show was all about Susie. Also, Last time I laughed at Billy and Mandy was that "Everybody Loves Rainman" gag. EDIT: Silly me, that episode wasn't Donny Osmond, it was Don Knotts.
