1.
But Ace if you remember, we watched that already ( but it was funny to see how it was finished ) Also Naruto is a good anime and some of the movies are accyually good. The only thing I hate is when I was watching the series online the last 20 episode of the original series were ALL FILLERS!!!! The shippuden is amazing though
I wanna see how heavily they actually have to edit it. And I know Naruto's fine, I just hate Land of Snow. It's a crappy movie.
No, no, I definately remember he was in Cricket's place. Maybe it's my memory acting up over the exact place, but it was certainly after Funimation took over.
I don't remember Sanji lighting up, but there was one episode a couple weeks back where Cricket was holding a lit cig for like, half a second. (don't argue, Haku. I'll show you the clip next time you, me and the internet are in the same room, if you want.)
 2.
As Yoda would say *Anger leads to hate, Hate leads to the Dark side* now just replace Dark side with Violence.
Yeah, about that... The quote is: "Fear leads to Anger, Anger leads to Hate, Hate... leads to Suffering." Not once did he actually mention the Dark Side.[/fanboyrant] I don't think Yoda would approve of any of this, though.
As for what they are doing, disrespecting the dead like that, i would have thrown them ALL in jail, every one of them that protested and waves one of the banners, should not be allowed to do that.
That's funny, I would have thrown them in the nearest volcano, myself. Much Nerdiness Yoda senses in me, -Ace
 3.
Oh, wow. I almost just slaughtered you, but now I can't stop laughing. That was one of the best-timed jokes I've ever seen. Hooray. (^_^)
That's my Haku! It's nice to see he's posting again. Maybe now he can rack up enough posts to shed that New Member title. Oh, and change your custom title. Only Nazis kick puppies. 8-bit Theatre said so. It must be true. Oooh! Spectator mode! Watching others duke it out sounds fun! Maybe you can even pick up some new strategies. Oh, and before I forget: http://www.ssbb.co.uk/ Here's a fansite. It's not as well kept up as the official one, but they have mp3s of the music. I've been listening to Ashley's Theme from Warioware on my iPod!
 4. I just finished replaying.I have come to a conclusion: Wind Waker stands the test of time. In fact, it aces. The battle system is still top-notch. While TP does have a few things going for it, The lack of the Parry isn't one of them. Nothing in this game is quite as satisfying as cutting the armor off some brute who's twice as tall as you. Plus, the
light arrows
near the end? I can't get enough of watching the strongest monsters in the game being instantaneously teleported into oblivion. Story is ferry guud. I'd rather not delve into it right now, but
Ganondorf
has some pretty great moments. Dungeons are interesting, sailing is usually fairly interesting, Bosses require a bit of thinking to figure out. The only problem with bosses is that they're not as fun as Twilight Princess's, but they do have interesting quirks in their own respect. About the only major tarnish this game has is that darn Triforce quest. This is where the sailing gets dull. And who's bonehead idea was it to force me to not only talk with Tingle, but give him money? That almost seemed malicious. Other than that, I can easily go back and enjoy this game just as much as Twilight Princess (I consider the Owl Statues to be TP's Triforce sailing. Oh, yeah, and any qualms about the graphics should be filed under "who cares?" I think the style fits perfectly with the game. Nobody complains about the more recent games in the series that have followed suit. Besides, the gameplay is where it's at. It's the same as any Zelda game.
 5.
This is Adam's comment on the news post on theOtaku announcing that the finalists have been chosen: So there you go. It would be difficult to rig a contest when there's three different organizations voting for the finalists, and then having NYAF attendees vote for the winner.
Even then, consider this: Not everyone has the same tastes in artwork as you. Rigging is beside the point because judging is based on personal preference, not "agree with me, you!" Yeah, basically what Allamorph said.
 6.
That does tend to explain how so many parents are actually able to sit in a room with their child and watch the show. Honestly though, I can't see myself wasting a good bottle of whiskey to check it out. :animesmil
Says the guy with the Johnny Bravo avatar (jk. I kinda miss ol' Johnny.)
 7.
I also like the remix of the Dragon Roost Island theme they have up. I forget its name but I was really happy when that mix was released since it's one of my favorite themes in the game.
It's called Pirates of Dragon Roost Isle. (
 8. Yeah, Ikillion's got a good one. That's from Ghost in the Shell, right? And yes, Manga is fine. I don't see a problem with it. That one was great! Now how did a woman claim monarchy over urinals, anyway?
 9. Des, I am shocked and appalled that you haven't mentioned Ancient Hero yet. Seriously, this is one of the highest-quality remixes out there. Remember that prologue music from Legend of Zelda: Windwaker? This is an instrumental awesome version of that song, which was already awesome. Just listen to it, okay?
 10.
But it's so clever! And cheeky! And, and... :animesmil ~Dagger~
It WAS, before season 4 or so. Then it just started sucking. But we're getting off topic. Is there a topic anymore?
 11.
I'm in 11th grade you (I expected this to get cenned XD).
Prove it.:animesmil
Wait a sec...so your friend the emo, was only semi-emo after he broke up with his girlfriend ? Interesting, so causing an emo emotional pain actually makes them less emo ? Well I'm off to go shoot the pets/parents/siblings of a few emos in my high school.
It's like the universe folds on itself until everything is opposite of what it was. From what I understand, that's how Spongebob got cool.
 12. First of all, welcome back, Chibi. I haven't really had a chance to say it yet, but there it is. Anyway, I think considering his age, DB is either in Junior or Senior High (bets on junior) if his school system is a typical one and there's no "middle school" like over where I live. Other than that, I basically concur with the above statement.
 13.
Good for you, Ace. That was almost like humor. :animesmil
Thanks, I think. I wasn't trying very hard.
 14.
Dude. You spend way too much time thinking about this. :animesmil
Agreed. My line of thought goes something like "Game fun. I wanna play." And yes, the taunt system is substandard, but I am a big fan of "Whose Line is it Anyway." Three-word vocabulary Brawl matches are a tempting prospect.
 15.
Well, this one kind of surprised me, surprisingly enough. Although I dress in womens pants occasionally, and hang with the G.S.A., have no gag reflex, and flirt with damn near every walking human (nothing to cripples), I'm 110% straight....Even though I've been described as one of the gayest straight guys you'll meet. I do find it interesting, tho, that what you wear often leads people to question sexual orientation, at least in my experiences. Or it could just be the way I talk....
You wear girl pants every Sunday. The only reason I don't question your sexual orientation is because you were the first of the four idiots (I'm in that group, too) to get a girlfriend. Granted, your first girlfriend's Bounty on your head is still active, but you've still had more relationships than me. I don't think it's the way you talk. Also, next time you mention the "gayest straight guy" thing, give me credit. That's almost a direct quote. I'm very straight. I've never felt attraction to a man who wasn't extremely convincingly cross-dressed. Even then, it was not much at all. I will sometimes joke around, but the most I have ever been referred to is "gay to a casual onlooker on a bad day."Come on, though, we all have days like that, right?
I second that motion. His threads are just too attractive, and plain old shmexy. I'm going gay for your threads Rach!
You can't go gay for a thread. You're going "Threaderosexual!"
 16.
...well it's not as if it's stopped any of the company's from producing decent ads, though it does example why so many of them do not feature people actually drinking beer.
I know, it's just a fun little tidbit. Beer commercials are the only thing that kept me watching Super Bowl XL after the first quarter. The dog that played Toto in "The Wizard of Oz" was payed 125$ a week. Lucky little turd.
 17. There's a silly little thing the FCC has that states that a beer commercial may not feature anyone actually drinking the product.
 18. Well, Jihad, looks like there's no worries about the taunting of others. Sure, it's all in writing, but I plan to harass my friends to no end. (Know what would be sweet? if you designate a comeback phrase to a taunt. Something like "...in bed!" Immature, but funny.)
 19. Alright! Mistranslations ahoy! You all know Gerber packaging symbol? The smiling baby? Well, when they wanted to market their product in Africa, they used the same packaging. Little did they know that since Africa has a low literacy rate, it is customary to put a picture of what a can or jar contains on the front. Needless to say the product didn't sell well. In Mexico, the "Got Milk?" Slogan came out as "Are you lactating?" Lebanese audiences all over attended showings of "Titanic" because the movie's title was slang for "Let's have sex." In addition, Allamorph's "embarazar" flub worked it's way into a pen advertisement. Instead of Not leaking in your pocket and embarrassing you, many people thought it was birth control. Also, the "el Papa/La Papa" thing messed up a T-shirt campaign in Mexico.
 20. It occurs to me that this thread, no offense, Rach, is a badly disguised Klondike bar commercial. Anyway, what would I do for a [strike]Klondike bar[/strike] large sum of money? I would watch the Legend of Zelda cartoon (all 13 episodes) again. Trust me, I watched them ALL out of curiosity not too long ago. It's not good.
 21.
That thread is displaying correctly for me. Does it still appear broken for you?
Now it's fine, but there have been posts since my last, so it's kind of a tainted experiment (and yes, I tried the shift thing.)
 22.
Ace, have you ever heard of 'fight fire with fire?' And my talk it out man-to-man, I meant act like a neanderthal as well. "Ug, me Conrad, you *****. You leave, I leave, go bye-bye. Oi you bad gal." Show her man!
Yes. That's why I go by Ace. Know what it makes? A bigger fire. :rolleyes:Yeees... patronize the brutish girl who's already one step away from hitting you.
 23. It happened again. I posted in DB's woman beating thread, and it hasn't shown up yet.
 24. Hey, folks! Next week we get to see Bellamy's
oh-so satisfying dented skull.
Here's hoping for minimal edits and amazing dialog as usual. Anyone else impressed by Colleen Clinkenbeard's flawless and quick transition into Luffy's character? I am utterly impressed by how well she's adapted, especially since she had it almost perfectly by the 4th episode. Other VA's I'm impressed by are: Sonny Strait (Jason Griffiths ruined Sonic. He never deserved Usopp.) Stephanie Young (I liked Robin from the first funi episode, if not just for the absence of the hick accent.) EDIT: Crap. Looks like we have to wait longer. Toonami is airing that stupid Naruto movie again this week. Why do we have to suffer through it again? There are only 2 good parts in the entire freaking movie.
Sasuke's autographed picture and Naruto Rasengan'ing the bad guy to the 31st of February.
Usually I don't mind Naruto much, but why replace 2 new episodes of your cash cow and a new episode of a fantastic revival that's almost sure to garner you some money for a crappy movie that more or less insults your biggest-selling franchise by existing?
 25.
And for the love of Bengie, don't be a nark! How about talking it out with her, man-to-man? Reporting her is just showing your weakless against someone else, and the other girls could take advantage of that. That is a last resort. Now come on people!
2 points here. 1: I'm not even going into the "her, man-to-man" problem, but she's already proven to have the mindset of a Neanderthal. How is "talking it out" going to help? 2: There's a fine, fine line between showing weakness and not taking crap. That kind of mindset creates victims more than terrorism itself.
DB, tell her you're gay, and if she leaves you alone, that proves she likes you. But talk with the men at school first, so they don't think you're gay and en up making fun of you for something not real. Don't hit her of caorse, but show no mercy besides. She started the war, and you should end it, lest the abuse continues.
:animesigh Yes, talk crap, DB. Show no mercy. Especially since she's bigger, badder, and quicker to anger than thou. The war shall surely end when you're dead. Or you could just let it go. You might live to see 25.
