1. There are a lot of things anime/manga has taught me but most of all, it might be the lifestyles in Japan (excluding the ones that are obviously untrue such as DragonBallZ). Then they taught me some Japanese vocabulary as well as strategies (in Case Closed, for example) and.. just about everything? :animeswea The list goes on forever.
2. On an average of all the animes and mangas I've actually watched of the same series, I've always preferred the mangas for many reasons besides the fact they take long to download and take up a lot of space (especially if you have many series). I also prefer the art in the manga because it seems more detailed to me while anime is like a simplified version. Manga for me! :animesmil
3. I still watch Pokemon today :x The problem is, I think it is getting a bit too corny. I don't know if it's because I've seen too much Pokemon or whatever. :animeswea I still remember back in like Grade 2-3? There was Pokemon I believe and everyone either played the TCG or watched it on TV. In our class, not one person was not involved with Pokemon in any way. Anyways, I found it EXTREMELY bad that even now, (what? Is it the 7th season or what? I don't know...), that Team Rocket is still trying to steal the same pokemon -coughcough-... Also, I think it's weird how all these seasons have passed by and Ash remains the same! He's still that short kid walking around with that voice (or something like it). Why does he not grow up?! Why is Brock still like that? Why is everyone still so young? Why is Pikachu still...Pikachu when Ash uses Pikachu ALL THE TIME?
4. This looks fun so I guess I'll give it a try...>
5.
The Case Closed (Detective Conan) manga is by Gosho Aoyama, not CLAMP. Are you by any chance thinking of CLAMP Campus Detectives? ~Dagger~
Oh yes, I might be mistaken. I'm not too bright with the authors. Hehe~ Maybe I'm not too much of a fan; all I care about is reading it. Also, wow... I didn' think there'd be so many episodes @_@... I didn't know YTV was airing Case Closed either... I've never watched the anime anyways so I can't imagine how the dub would be. I was wondering how children would take Case Closed? I mean, it's not just killing but I look around and A LOT of children are now doing all these Naruto moves ever since it was launched at YTV. Since these new animes are being released to YTV, I'm only hoping that the children because some of their minds may still be immature and use these tactics to "hurt" someone. Of course, half of the time they may not know what they're talking about since the vocabulary and complexity of the cases are high. I believe it'd be amazing if the dub can bring these chances to the lowest and also be able to capture the feel of Case Closed. Yes, :p I think there's a feel to Case Closed. Then again, it must be impossible... Maybe I'll watch it some time on YTV? Does anybody know what time it airs EST?

Digimon

There's been a discussion about which season was the best among my friends as well. Their opinions were that the seasons only got worse as they proceded on. I liked the original characters very much. Second season didn't catch much of my attention, therefore, I stopped watching it. Maybe this is the dubbing's fault. :p Third season got me watching it every Saturday morning on FoxBox though...along with a few other animes after it. I was fine with the fact that there were new characters known as the Tamers but there was one thing that amused me. Henry constantly said "Momentai" and I couldn't grasp the meaning in the beginning of the season. As he constantly said it, I gave it a try and I finally realized it was Chinese! It may not be really interesting at all but it doesn't mean "Don't worry, it's okay" as Henry explains it in the *dubbed* anime. Momentai actually means "No problem" in Chinese (Cantonese). It got me going that he explained it simply as "Don't worry" or something of the sort. From then on, I completely stopped watching Digimon, only to occasionally watch it once or twice when I had nothing better to do. My friends and I still have the anime discussions here and then so I found out about the new Digimon series: Digimon Savers! According to my friend, they're supposed to be even better than all the previous series. I'm more interested in the new digimon because I've always been excited about their creativity. Take for an example: Pandamon! Gatsumon! Megadramon! Digimon is one of the large shards of my past. :animecry: I miss it~
7. I feel so shameful for not watching the anime but I do read the manga. Actually, I prefer manga over anime... Ahem, what I was going to say was... Detective Conan is by far one of my favourite mangas ever! I love the mysteries and they're all ingenius. I wish they'd order this manga in the school library because it does increase our knowledge (hopefully it wouldn't increase the amounts of murders or suicides). I'm always thrilled to find out that the case isn't as it seems. Not many people are interested or even know about this manga but in my opinion, this is one of the greatest works of Clamp! The plot is the same as many other mangas, especially because it is hard to believe that a high school student is able to solve all these cases more efficiently than real licensed detectives! I hope there'll be more Case Closed fans! =D It's really worth praising. :D
8. Although CCS has been aired and finished years ago, it's still a part of me as one of the first animes I've ever watched (even if it was a dub). I've never watched the Japanese CCS though :animecry: ...but with what I know of the dubbed CCS, I found Sakura cute, but not very smart. :animeswea My friends had a huge crush on Shaoran/Syaoran, however you spell it. We were all crazy whenever it was on air, my friends constantly wrote CCS fanfiction, and we'd bug our parents crazy just to get the movie! CCS gives me those good fuzzy memories~ CCS has moved on, hasn't it? The fans have all transcended to new Clamp series with the same characters: TSUBASA RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE and xxxHOLiC. Ah, I just miss CCS...I'm not even all that interested in the newer Clamp series as I was to CCS.
